The Tap Room bar has an excellent selection of drinks! It's a bit of a splurge but worth visiting.

Supermooi hotel.Good bartender and perfect service beyond
The Omni William Penn Hotel is truly amazing. From the friendliness of the staff to the comfort of the beds they are a 5 star experience.
We had a nice stay. Good turn down service. The room was a little small, but otherwise, the staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend.
Outstanding service! Rooms are comfortable, though maybe not quite as spacious as modern hotels. Starbucks in the lobby. The Speakeasy was a wonderful bar/lounge. If you're not adverse to the less modern, this is a BEAUTIFUL grand old hotel!
Stay inside if you don't want to die from 2nd hand smoke! Pittsburgh streets are full of nasty f*cks. The Omni is great! Haven't been to a crappy one yet! Try the fitness center if you want some alone time.... LOL. #bigbuttsandcigarettebutts
Overpriced Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh as usual don't go here when there's a game going on it will get ripped off but then again you will get ripped off everywhere
A Truly Grand Historical Hotel with a Superior Staff, except for one front desk person! Kudos to Mike in the Tap Room! Outstanding bellman service!
Beautiful hotel! I came with some friends for a work conference and really enjoyed it! I will be adding this place to one of my weekend getaway choices for sure!
Great hotel. Terrific decor. Located right next to the t station and a quick walk to a number of things. Convenient $5 parking not far at all from hotel.
The Tap Room has some of the best burgers in the city!
Very large room for an older hotel. Everything was nice.
Nice staff and meeting rooms but both my rooms smelled like smoke
Rooms were way too hot. Had to open the window on the 11th floor (which had no screen or bars) in order to cool the room off. If going for an event in the winter wear summer clothes or else you'll sweat through everything you own. Other than that, service was wonderful, staff is friendly, hotel is beautiful.
Great hotel stay there almost every time I am in Pittsburgh. Classic and Beautiful.
I reserved a king room before arriving, but they "sold out" of king rooms when I checked in. The double bed room I received was roomy and clean, but the bed I slept in was very firm and uncomfortable.
property is first class and dining venues were quite good- Terrace Room and Tap Room. Food at wedding in Grand Ballroom not very good, neither was the service.
Early check in request was not granted and it took over an hour to depart the hotel because of lack of communication between reception staff and bell staff and valet.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the old architecture of the building. Close to everything we wanted to do in Downtown Pittsburgh
Location is right at the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. Very convenient and close to restaurants. However, the room is not that clean. The blankets and cups are stained. Very dusty as well. Overall it was a good experience.
Classic hotel with a lot of history. Head to the lower level and enjoy a drink at the Speakeasy.
A beautiful and gracious classic hotel with the finest service anywhere.
Stayed here during a conference. Unfortunate they were having AC issues in the main hotel but conference space was ok. Their rooms were great. The conference rooms were cool and had original 1920's architecture in many of them. Largest ones after on top floor which was also neat!
The wedding venue was wonderful. Our room was great, but the bathroom lighting was bad making it really dark in the shower. Other than that our stay was fantastic though.
The rooms were beautiful and the architecture was gorgeous!
Great service, clean room, nice staff and good restaurant.
Very little counterspace in bathrooms. Very comfortable and clean, offers breakfast to your room. Very close to convention center- just a ten minute walk.
The hotel is beautiful! I was there for a conference and found the building stunning. Some of the meeting rooms were quite small though. It was easily accessible as it is surrounded by bus stops T stops and parking.
Rooms are a little cramped, but it has a nice classic theme consistent through the building. Not cheap due to the convenient location.
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are larger than you expect.
Visited as part of a conference and had a wonderful time. Service is excellent, rooms clean, and the decor spectacular. Seems equally accessible to classy wedding parties, scruffy historians, and concert goers alike. Enjoyed people watching with a cocktail in the lobby bar.
Fantastic service. The staff was amazingly friendly and accomodating. The interior was beautiful. Absolutely loved it. I will eat here again.
I had high tea there. Very nice experience, great wait staff, good prices, good tea and food
My 5yo loved this hotel! She wanted to live there! Little fancy girl :)
Such a beautiful and historic old hotel. Grand x2. Wonderful and classy place to meet friends for a drink and show off this Pittsburgh landmark.
Very convenient location in downtown. It is definitely a classic hotel that is in the need of a major renovation, but takes you back a little in time. The room was clean, the bathroom was outdated, but clean and functional. The bed was super comfortable. The staff was helpful in anything that we needed.
Beautiful space. A nice throwback to the Pittsburgh of old.
Great hospitality. Great food. Everything I always wanted in a hotel. I had a suite which was perfect. If I come to the Steel City again I know where I will be staying.
Rooms are nice and cozy, bathrooms are small. Nicely decorated but old fashioned. Employees are nice and helpful. Close to convention center.
One of the moat beautiful hotels Ive ever stayed in.
Classic hotel in a great district of Pittsburgh. Highly recommend!
Really friendly place, the staff there is always welcoming and has a smile. Free Wi-Fi and coffee in the morning. I can just go to the Starbucks to get some work done. Clean and beautiful interior.
Upscale hotel in a great location to visit all of Pittsburgh and the surrounding boroughs.
Loved the location. The room was nice and the bed was one of the more comfortable ones I've had in a hotel. Would definitely stay again!
5 stars for location. Had to take one away because the building and especially our room was showing its age. Very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. If you like "charming" older buildings this is your place.
Great hotel with old world charm from earlier in the 20th Century with the modern amenities that you would expect. The rooms are quirky, but large and functional. The attitude of the staff is exceptional.
Beautiful Historic Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh. Walking distance to all the great restaurants, convention center, shops and stadiums. Truly Remarkable Experience.
My friend and I went to Pittsburg and was asking around for a good "American" steak and was referred to Gaucho's so we reluctantly decided to go and was very pleasantly surprised at how well we liked our food. We both got a "Large Sirloin" and our meals were excellent as well as the service and courtesy of the employees!!!!...
Great hotel! The service is beyond wonderful. Our family stayed here for our family vacation this past June. The rooms could be updated, some little dusting issues in the room but otherwise clean. The service far outweighs the outdated rooms. We loved it. The staff is just amazing and we would stay here again.
Beautiful accommodations and the room decor complemented the historic style of the building. The staff were friendly.
Great service and clean rooms. The parking is across the street in a parking structure, but convenient enough.
Clean Luxurious hotel centrally located in the downtown business district of Pittsburgh. Exquisite design and decor. Pleasant , helpful staff.
Drinks at Wigle tasting room - very nice bartender and great little place for a drink after work
Wonderful hotel overall. Luxurious design with completely reasonable room rates.
Went here for high tea with wife and daughter. Awesome atmosphere of course in such a lovely building. Service was good. The tea was phenomenal and I'm not a big tea drinker. Parking is nearby and some what affordable for Pittsburgh. Will return for sure.
Nice hotel walking distance to the convention center and good restaurants/bars
My wife and I have been staying at the Omni William Penn Hotel when we visit Pittsburgh for about 6 years now. For us it's the best Hotel in Pittsburgh. The Staff is wonderful, I can't say enough about them they care about their guests and always treat us right, the Hotel is elegant with beautiful rooms for a reasonable price and their restaurants are the best with good food and great wait staff.
This was my first trip to this hotel, and it was great. I attended a wedding (ceremony and reception). The rooms were beautiful and classy. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Food and drinks were top notch, and not once did I feel like it was crowded. I'd definitely recommend this location. I hear the speakeasy is awesome, I really want to try it out
Attended my college graduation at the Omni. Beautiful hotel, polite staff, and wonderful accommodations.
Old-world charm hotel with modern amenities. Excellent, friendly desk staff. Hotel bar offers excellent cocktails and the location of the hotel is convenient to sports, culture, museums, etc. Highly recommend staying!
Went to wigle to scout out a location for a get together. Great atmosphere and drinks.
As always, a welcome stay with great service and fantastic food.
Flew in for a quick stay for a football game in West Virginia , at first we regretted staying further downtown as we were driving to the Omni. As we arrived there was great energy with the bell man and the people staying there. We then we walked the area and had a great dinner down the street at Ruth Chris and enjoyed our evening . The next morning we got up late and had a amazing brunch offered by the Omni! We will definitely come back .
Always accommodating to my friends on our annual migration to the city!
Wonderful decor and staff was extremely polite and helpful with directing us to the ballroom
Updated and well maintained historic hotel. Beautiful welcoming entryway, fast elevators, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Highly recommend a stay at this hotel when visiting Pittsburgh.
