Enjoyed the breakfast and the service for the event at the Omni William Penn.
Enjoyed the breakfast and the service for the event at the Omni William Penn.
Parking situation isn't good. The room was nice. Food was good. The building is beautiful. Got a good deal on it.
I mean the OWP is well known for a reason. Beautiful building with amazing staff. Can't wait to come back!
Pittsburgh's nicest hotel! Beautiful rooms and great staff! The lobby is breath-taking.
Beautiful inside but the bats that stays open late is kinda lame and smells weird. The speak Dow stairs looks pretty cool thougg
Pretty good staff. Lovely room. Only complaint is that I registered for loyalty program to access free wifi and was charged anyway.
Update: was refunded easily and quickly.
Very well maintained, classic hotel. Great service and beautiful lobby. Easy walk to convention center. Beds very comfy!
Cleaning staff is super nice. The hotel itself was not well taken care of. The window in my room would not close all the way, the bathroom light didn't work, and the HVAC was not consistent so it was always SO hot or SO cold. I told a staff member but it was never taken care of.
Couldn't check out on the TV to speed it up, but then was told "I dont know what to tell you" when I asked about it over the phone. I'll definitely be staying in another hotel the next time I travel to PB for work.
There for the restaurant. Food was ok but there for 3 hrs for a full 4 course meal seemed kinda long. And the waiter was nice and professional but seemed really rushed.
The rooms are comfortable and clean, the beds are comfy, the staff are courteous, and there's never a line for the elevators... even during AnthroCon *glares at the Westin* Every time I've come here has been a positive experience, and I don't anticipate that to change based on this most recent stay.
The hotel is really old, but charm at the same time. The location is fine. The rooms are large. The staff was not friendly upon arrival, however they were very friendly during check out. WI-FI is not free, which is very unusual.
Nice hotel. Rooms are quiet can't hear your neighbors.
Great service. Fair price on room. Beautiful lobby.
This is the most historic hotel in Pittsburgh. It's immaculate and the rooms are spacious. They keep the facility up to date. The rooms are beautiful and modern. I had a specialrate, which was very reasonable compared to other less luxurious hotels in Pittsburgh. You're right downtown, near the theater district with access to many bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again
Attended one of the best weddings I've been to in the Urban Room.
Cool upscale hotel but it gets very busy on the weekend. All the restaurants and bars in the hotel were completely full at 10pm on Friday night.
Fantastic drinks. The speak easy had a great ambiance and an authentic feel. Very welcoming.
All the Staff are wonderful. I just stopped in to meet someone, haven't seen, over 20 years. Saw wonderful Valet thats been there for that long. He remembered me. Great place and just ask, some of the History is amazing. Tap Room, great atmosphere and service.
I traditionally stay at the William Penn at Christmas. One of the major reasons is that I love eating dinner in the incredibly. beautiful dining room on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If the dining room is not to be open for dinner on these days, I may have to book elsewhere. Other restaurants in the area will be closed for Christmas and I do not wish to eat pub food for the holiday. I rate the hotel 5 stars if the dining room is open.
Beautiful, luxurious, and quiet. Convenient location with nice surrounding restaurants. Walking distance to major attractions. Great place to stay!
This is Pittsburgh's most classic, elegant and pleasant hotel.
Our stay at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, Pa was excellent. From the bellman who greeted us upon arrival, to the front desk, concierge, housekeeping, gift shop, waitstaff - the staff were all friendly, helpful, kind, willing to answer questions and were very professional! Our Executive King Suite was nicely appointed and comfortable. We attended a wedding reception during our stay. The catering at the cocktail hour and reception was excellent. The waitstaff was very attentive to guests' needs and requests. Food was served quickly and the food was hot! The
hor d'oeuvres and the main meal were all flavorful and delectable! It was a true pleasure staying at this beautiful historic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. I rate our stay as 5 Star and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again in the future!
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, and great location to explore downtown from.
Worker There, for 23yrs (1978-2000)...when it was owned, by, Aluminum Company of America...ALCOA...Beautiful Grand Hotel...Where one of the Maintenance Engineers (circa 1940's), Created, Lawrence Welk's, Bubble Machine...Simple design. Bubble Wands, made of Copper wire, soldered to a fan hub, dipping into a meatloaf pan, full of dishsoap, with another fan, providing, the wind...
Great weekend getaway! Having the Steel Plaza Station across the street was very convenient.
Great time. Amazing breakfast. Excited for what more is to come.
Very elegant hotel close to everything downtown!! Great guest service!
Everything was perfect. The hotel was charming, lovely and clean.
All the staff from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the valet were professional and very friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet.
Would absolutely stay there again and recommend to anyone.
Long time since I have stayed somewhere and have to pay extra for WiFi.. extra for water and extra for a refrigerator!!! Wow
NCL event. Fantastic amenities and great service. Beautiful building and architecture.
By far my favorite hotel in Pittsburgh. Trendy and timeless all in one. They take care of every detail to ensure your stay is fabulous.
An amazing hotel, love the history and the restaurant was delicious and the staff awesome!
The hotel is perfectly located in the center of downtown. It's a really nice experience with great service, but be cautious WiFi isn't exactly free, and a few other small charges will be applied.
Very nice hotel. Very friendly, They really take care of you there
Good downtown location if you are in town for business. Room are clean and well maintained, staff is friendly. Self-park at the Mellon Square parking garage - your car will be just as close and you'll save a bunch on valet charges.
Nice hotel. Clean rooms. Pay extra for a bigger room, it's going to be worth it unless you don't mind a tiny room with a queen sized bed that takes up the entire room.
I used to live here with my honey. He's disabled confined to a wheelchair and they had him on the 4th floor!there would be times the elevator would be broken!!! Now you tell me how I can do the needful and oblige this?we won't speak of his closet of a room they would always ignore him especially Mr,Joe you have to be able to get the same thing as everybody else except more because he was promised a bigger room!he payed more than$1,15.00 for over 3years! And they gladly took instead of offering to help him
Had issues in which they treated my visiting guests
Beautiful hotel! Staff was great and was very clean! Will definitely return!
Arranged to stay here for a weekend getaway. The hotel is gorgeous and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location can't be beat for exploring downtown Pittsburgh. Overnight parking is just $5 at the Mellon Square Garage right across the street.
A few hours after checkin, our babysitter called with an emergency. We had to cut our weekend short and return home. We explained our situation to the hotel staff and they were incredibly helpful and understanding. They helped us get out of the hotel quickly, offered to help with our luggage, and didn't even charge us for the room.
I highly recommend this hotel. My wife and I are excited to return.
Beautiful hotel. Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place.
Very nice team of people employed here! Everything was great!
A friend and I sought refuge here after not being served at another establishment down the street. The wait staff at the tap room were more than accommodating. I wish my travels would bring me to Pittsburgh more often, because I would most definitely stay here again.
Opulent hotel with incredible staff. They made the whole event run smoothly. Solid meeting rooms and food. No free wifi, which is just silly.
This place is classic, very beautiful and well maintained. The staff here is friendly and inviting. A very nice stay!
Great place. Parking close by and reasonably priced. It is also in the heart of downtown with quick access to restaurants, bars , etc...
Poor service regarding wedding services or promises for guests staying for reception.
Really great, came in late at night and got a complementary bottle of water
Great historic hotel in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh. Very large and great amount of coffee and restaurant amenities.
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. 4 stars because I booked a king but got 2 doubles instead.
Great location in down Pittsburgh right across from a recently restored park. Across the street from a T station (light rail, not that extensive of a system) and near multiple bus lines. But you don't need that because you're within walking distance of the convention center, PNC Park, Warhol Museum, Point State Park and PPG paints arena. Almost anywhere is downtown is minutes away. Be sure to stop by Wigle Whiskey's tasting room on the first floor for a refreshing cocktail made with spirits crafted by this local distillery that is recognized nationally.
Lovely hotel, the service is good, the location convenient to downtown.
ok - but not my style were there is a charge for everything.
Worst hotel in Pittsburgh and chef mike is a waste of space on this earth they run a slave crew in the kitchen very disrespectful management.
Beautiful property from the time you walk in to the elevators and hallways. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and make the stay so much more fulfilling. The hotel smells clean and inviting with their signature scent. I would recommend the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh to who ever plans to visit Pittsburgh, PA. We had a great stay.
Favorite hotel in Pittsburgh. Grand, majestic, and beautiful!
Big clean rooms, the staff was very professional courteous.
There for a work function. Very nice place. Food was great! Staff was very nice.
Excellent service and food for a very reasonable price. They are one of the few places to get amazing food, a great experience, and drinks that are made amazingly. I had a Bulliet Rye Manhattan, and it was terrific.
The shareable plates are good for 3-4 people, and I'd suggest getting the nachos.
A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurants are great as well!
This is a great place to visit even if you're not staying. The lobby is beautiful, large, and cozy, and there are a variety of historical items around the ground floor.
Great staff, clean room, very enjoyable trip considering the circumstances
The hotel is located close to many downtown attractions. PNC park, Heinz field, and the Andy Warhol museum are just a few within 20 minute walking distance. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and events going on downtown. The rooms are very spacious even for a standard room. Since the hotel is downtown it can be noisy in the rooms due to traffic but the hotel itself is quiet. Overall, good experience.
I had a wonderful stay here. Staff is friendly and the decorations are beautiful.
There was some construction noise during the night, they provided hear plugs after I called to ask what it was.
