The Terrace is a nice place to eat, if you're willing to endure the side-eye from the entire room for having the audacity to be under-60, paying $20 for steak frites and wearing anything other than a business suit.

It wasn't bad. And definitely had some benefits over other hotels I've been at. I've never been at a hotel with bell hops and such, a "full service hotel" as they called it. It was nice even if a bit unfamiliar.

Their star gets lost from feeling like the spirit airline of hotels. If you want a mini fridge it'll cost 30. If you want late checkout it'll cost more. It seemed like many things I've grown accustomed to as free amenities cost extra here. (plus the water bottle in the room was 6 bucks!)

Oh last note. If you don't want to pay for a mini fridge they have a "drink cooler" in the room, it took over 24 hours for the drinks I put in there to feel anything below luke warm.

Amazing hotel in downtown Pittsburgh for a Steelers game. Decorated beautifully for Christmas. Great value for the price. You really can't beat it.

Great location for a TV series "call" location. Staff was friendly and cooperative. Didn t stay at the hotel , however, it is definitely a five-star venue!!!

Room was hot, layout was confusing. Water pressure unbelievably awesome.

Okay, so this was definitely a splurge for me, but I wanted a hotel that would put me right out into the Stanley Cup parade so I didn't have to deal with driving in the madness the next morning. I booked a room at the Omni, day of stay, through Hotel Tonight and had no issues with check-in.

The hotel, as you probably know, is gorgeous. It contains several bars and restaurants, as well as a Starbucks. Of note is supposed to be the Speakeasy downstairs, but I didn't make it before last call to try a drink. It closes at 11 on weeknights.

I had a king sized room on the 16th floor that was basically the size of my apartment. I loved the deep window sills; large enough to sit on and look out into the night. The room has a TV, Keurig, and several local magazines (Pittsburgh Mag, Whirl, something else) which I enjoyed looking through. The shower/tub is wide, the bathroom has a 5x circular mirror, and amenities included mouthwash. The room also contained a desk/chair, as well as two armchairs, an ottoman, and another small table.

Honestly, I didn't spend enough time in the room to take full advantage of the hotel. The Omni gets 5 stars solely due to the work of one young woman at the service desk. I somehow managed to pack my charging cord, but not wall plug. She loaned me one she called "personal" without so much as even taking my room number in order to track it down. This was a serious life saver, as it was near midnight and I would have been so upset with a dead phone during the parade. Thanks, Omni!

The rooms seem to be smaller than most hotels downtown. It's a very historic building with a great grand entrance, little boutiques, and popular coffee shops. Then you get to your room.

Clean, quaint, and classy. Excellent experience in downtown Pittsburgh.

Attended a beautiful wedding reception at the William Penn. Parking was across the street, not hard to deal with. The ballroom was elegant and spacious, delicious food, and a special venue.

Service was stellar and great location to Convention Center and downtown

Beautiful hotel, loved the historical charm. Great location in downtown Pittsburgh. Close to the market Square and within walkable distance of Heinz Field. Our Room was HUGE. A little pricey (was in town for a Steelers game) but overall worth it.

Unfortunately, We did have a faulty lamp in our room, which is worth mentioning because with the way that the hotel was designed, although unique, had windows but didn t offer the best natural light in the room, so it was a little dark at all times. Had to use another room to shower because our hot water wouldn t kick in, luckily, it didn t last all weekend and they were able to rectify the situation. They said they would offer compensation for the inconvenience, but never did. For the manager reading this, make sure your team is following up on their promises.

Otherwise, Great stay, and would consider staying there again.

Only issue here is parking, they have valet, but it is slow to get the vehicle back.

Decent hotel, has good historic charm. Would have given the fifth star if the WiFi was free. Why would you charge an extra $9.95 / day for that? Frankly speaking, that's kinda dumb.

I am not wealthy by any means. With the rates, the ease, the friendliness, the hospitality, ambiance............ I felt like "Mr. Bond" walking into the front door of the Waldorf. From pulling up to the door in my own vehicle, I was in my room within 8 minutes (no exaggeration). All aside, Pittsburgh is a great city full of great people! (Ann Arbor, MI)

This hotel has class. The entire hotel from lobby to room really brings a new experience to those who stay here. Furnished well and very comfortable atmosphere.

I was a guest for a wedding in the grand ballroom and it was beautiful. The layout was perfect and the atmosphere was amazing. Afterwards I was the dj entertainment for their after party. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Everyone had a great time. The ceiling mural in the Urban Room truly lives up to its beautiful reputation.

Exceptional quality in appearance and the delivery of service from the time you walk into the hotel. Every team member is committed to your complete satisfaction. Attended a meeting here for two days. The facilities for the meeting, including food and other services provided was excellent. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is in a great location to everything. The staff is really nice, the food is good, and it has a Starbucks attached to the hotel. I'd definitely stay here again in the future.

In town for a quick overnight visit. Beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and nice rooms. Didn't get a chance to use it but did check out the fitness room- it was awesome. We ordered room service for breakfast- delicious and large portions. Overall a great experience.

Normally a great place, but on December 8th the place was too crowded, couldn't get into either bar, SpeakEasy or the Tap Room due to occupancy limit, took 45 minutes to get a glass of wine from the lobby bar and no where to sit due to the crowd in the lobby.

It s a beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, the room was really small with a not so great view. And the room service fees are ridiculously high!

Beautiful old hotel that is well maintained The Tap Room had great food & service. The room rates are some of the cheapest in town and the hotel is close enough to walk to Market Square.

Went to the speakeasy for cocktails. Always enjoyable.

I love my room and the service, except on Christmas Eve. I had an issue with getting served at dinner. The first manger was not helpful but the second one we worked with was outstanding and very professional. He represents the class that this beautiful place stands for.

I had a major issue while booking through a 3rd party at this hotel, however the hotel staff did all they could to accommodate my wife and me during the confusion. We ended up getting the room for a lower rate than even the third party (trip.com) could provide and last minute, they also provided us with champagne delivered to our room as a gift for our anniversary. The hotel itself is very unique and has Such incredible history, however the bathroom in our deluxe room left some to be desired and the bed/pillows were not the most comfortable. Besides all of the confusion and small inconveniences it was an enjoyable stay.

The best thing about my trip was Kathy. She works in the bar and restaurant area and she took really great care of me. The room was smaller than I would have liked and the bathroom was a tight space. It looked like the room needed a good cleaning as there was hair in the tub and glitter on the bed. My AC went out and my room was hot, which is hard to sleep in. But the service was great...room service was fast...people were friendly and professional.

Recommended to me by a work colleague. It's a charming and somewhat quirky building which has been well maintained. The staff were very kind and attentive, my room was spacious and clean, and the various establishments downstairs were all work a visit. The only sour note was a shower that wasn't draining properly, which cut my one shower in the morning short.

Great location smack in the downtown area. Large spacious rooms but had two double beds instead of two queen or king. Service was just ok. No complimentary breakfast. Decor was good. Hotel and room were clean and comfortable.

Went to Pittsburgh to see a pirates game,and chose this hotel based on reviews. I was not at all disappointed. In fact, it was just the opposite. I paid $204 usd for a Friday night's stay. When I walked into the lobby, I thought that I was at the wrong place. I couldn't believe how nice this place looked for such a low price. When staying in Philadelphia or (especially) New York City, you can get half as nice for double the price, so my opinions may be biased due to NYC hotel prices.
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. There is a gift shop, bar, whisky room, and restaurant. We had breakfast in the restaurant, and the food was good, and our waiter was very friendly. However the food seemed a bit pricey. I paid $15 for blueberry pancakes. They were good and filling, but the price just seemed high. The restaurant was a litter more high end then I typically eat at.
From this hotel it's about a ten minute walk to Primanti brothers, and a fifteen minute walk to the stadium.

Had several meetings in the hotel, staff was accommodating. Additionally facilities were incredibly clean and the anesthetic was incredible.

Staying at the Omni had been a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, bright, and tasteful, the beds and towels are luxurious, and they have a great loyalty program.

Went in for an interview at a company within the building. The hotel is beautiful and the staff really friendly.

Nice atmosphere, very fancy, the Speakeasy bar in the basement should not be missed.

Rooms are usually large, although it's possible to be unlucky and end up in a room more worthy of a Red Roof... Some rooms are not handicap accessible, and the building itself is not handicap friendly.

I've visited for multiple occasions, and noticed the helpfulness of the staff seems to be variable depending on how well dressed you are at the time.
