I worked at the Pittsburgh downtown Omni for 7 years and it sucks I was let go after a point system but an employee called me the N word and he still have a job. As they say we are all family I see not true. I have a good job where ppl and employee respect me and we all stand as 1. Real family

A really lovely historic building, very well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff

First stay at this particular Omni. Suite we were given smelled like cigarette smoke. There was still chocolate and flower petals in the living room. Called to notify front desk and theu said theu would have housekeeping bring an air purifier and spray. The spray made it even worse. We called again to request a new room. New room was a slight downgrade to a queen bed suite, we were refunded the difference. Its surprising we were even put in this suite to begin with. We did however have the manager of housekeeping personally come up to apologize and we were offered breakfast which we declined but it was appreciated. Just not what we expected since many people like Omni. Our new room bathroom shower did not drain fast at all and water during a shower went passed our ankles. We would give this hotel another try as the room was pretty nice

Visited the lobby bar and the tap house. Service was good at both.

Wonderful experience on our wedding night. Staff was courteous, helpful, and just amazing. Room is beautiful. We will stay again and recommend to anyone.

I was there for a work conference. Didn't stay overnight. The hotel decor is beautiful and the catering is great. The ballroom our event was held in must have been difficult to heat properly, because I was cold the whole time.

Like stepping back in time! This hotel definitely hits the mark. Awesome eats, bars and a speakeasy! Staff was great! Rite in the middle of everything downtown! It's our spot from now on downtown!

Absolutely beautiful. The food was okay, but the room we were staying in was excellent.

Elegant entrance, beds are a bit springy. Parking is close. Lots of floor space.

Amazing hotel. If it seems too expensive, treat yourself to this beautiful hotel. I was only there for a night and it was the best night's sleep I've ever had.

After 2 confirmations email and on the phone my room reservation had been cancelled on arrival. They found a room after the screw up that looked at a brick wall. No sunshine. The air conditioning didn t work well at all. The room was clean and the people were nice.

All of the staff I interacted with were patient and helpful. The hotel offers some good choices if you're keen to stay in and the building is gorgeous. Walking into the lobby is wonderful everytime.

Rooms are nice and the price is right. The valet is horrible. They are slow and rude. That being said, we probably will come back and stay here because the room was nice enough for the rate we paid. I will recommend you park yourself in the garage across the street vs paying for the sub-par valet service.

Very historic feel...had drinks at The Speakeasy...nice place to grab a drink before hitting the town.

Beautiful property, professional, courteous staff, very good value for the money. The staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The room itself was clean and the bed and pillows were excellent! Location was perfect! We will definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay in downtown Pittsburgh. Location was excellent, quick walk to everywhere including PNC Park. Parking in the garage across the street was convenient and inexpensive. Room was big, very clean, and bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Downsides were the bathrooms were extremely small (my room had two bathrooms which I found unusual, and both were tiny), and amenities such as WiFi were not complimentary, which I think should be a standard feature in a nice hotel such as this. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay and would absolutely book again if I visited Pittsburgh again.

The William Penn Hotel has been a great location for the conference, good environment good location and very nice rooms.

Beautiful historic building that maintains a lot of charm and character. I was in for a business conference and the hotel handled it flawlessly in my opinion. I ate and drank at the hotel bar and restaurant and was very happy with service, selection, and delivery.

Not handicap friendly at all. More concerned with valet parking than treating people right. If you're disabled, go elsewhere (and they should actually put that on a sign)

Listen, I don't really like hotels, despite staying at them near constantly. So take it as high praise that I like this place. It's not the most modern, but the rooms are surprisingly big, the attached Starbucks is great, and Internet is pretty good (3mbps) even if you might have to jump through some hoops to get it for free. Overall, no complaints!

Beautiful place and also was used in the filming of the movie "the dark Knight" which is pretty cool. There's a really beautiful Starbucks inside and getting my coffee there makes me feel better about going to Starbucks.

I also suggest to check out the Wigle tasting room. Wigle is a great local whiskey company, but they have so much more. If you like absinthe I strongly suggest getting an absinthe drip! Its fun with multiple people. Rosemary latte is also to die for.

Very affordable and great amenities and rooms. However the lack of paid parking was a bit ridiculous, add about $30/day for parking fees on top of what the room rate is! I will say if you don't have a car though, GREAT price for what you get!!! Also they charged me on top of what I paid priceline and took about a month or so to resolve, they were extremely courteous, but it was just something I felt needed to be mentioned.

The location, atmosphere, and employees were all lovely. The Terrace was a great dining experience.

Excellent staff and a beautiful hotel with updated rooms.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms are big & location is great. There is valet parking and a few restaurants in the gotel. There are also restaurants attached to the building. It is an older, historical building, and very beautiful.

The hotel itself was fantastic and the service was excellent. My only complaint is regarding the noise protection between the ballrooms on the 17th floor and the rooms below on the 16th floor. I was given a suite on the 16th floor to stay in on the weekend of my wedding which was held at the Omni. However Friday night there was a wedding or some other type of event that went until 1 am. Loud bass and sometimes pounding heard. Just not the best environment when I was hoping to get a good nights sleep the night before my wedding day. Otherwise the stay was fantastic and I'd certainly return again!

If you like champagne and oysters, this is your place. I am hesitant to ever order no raw oysters unless I can hear it see an ocean but will say that these did not disappoint. We also had the steak tar-tar, my first time but the GF assured me it was excellent. The shrimp cocktail featured almost jumbo sized shrimp and the variety of sauces offered was excellent. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly, attentive as well as offered up local history on this famous hotel located in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh.

The AC in the hallway and inside the room is not working. The room smelled moldy and my family was all sneezing and had a very uncomfortable night. They sent a person with a fan and expected us to sleep with the fan on our face. Don t waste your money in this hotel as they didn t even offered to give us another room instead they were defensive when I called to complain about the AC situation. Receptionist told me it was my issue! If you book do at your own risk. This hotel should be closed because it is a health hazard. Very disappointed.

We visited the Speakeasy. The environment and music were wonderfully period appropriate, and the bartenders/servers were fantastic. The drinks were a bit pricy, but very good. All in all, we had a wonderful evening there!

Great hotel, we've generally had excellent service and the breakfast buffet is terrific! This time no one seemed to know any restaurants that were open late the night we arrived, or on Labor Day. We thought that was a little odd, but in general the service was good as always.

Located right in the heart of downtown which is great. The hotel rooms look amazing and are so comfortable and the look is one of a kind.

I attended a fundraising dinner for a Christian non-profit. The wait staff was great, as was the food. Don't expect a lot of food, though; $40/plate for a little chicken and some veggies!

Central location close to great restaurants and a short walk to PPG Paints Arena. Impeccable service from all staff. Great food in the terrace dining room. Nice, clean, well appointed (if old-fashioned) rooms.

The location was excellent. Close to PNC park which was my reason for coming. The room was larger than expected and exactly what a tired visitor would want. Comfy bed, good bathroom and a TV. A wonderful value for staying in a downtown hotel in a major city.

The Omni in Pittsburgh is a very nice place. The staff was wonderful, and the room was clean, very nice, and very comfortable.

This hotel is one of the top hotels in Pgh. Outstanding food, service amenities. Top of the line all the way and very lovely interior design. If you are looking for the best, this is it. Enjoy.

Fancy hotel. Well kept hotel on the outside, lobby, hallways, and in my room. Rooms are smallish but very clean with no dust. I had a great view out my window. Central location to everything. Great restaurants walking distance. Outstanding service by the front desk and valet staff. 4 stars due to hand prints (the whole hand) visible on my window. A must stay in Pittsburgh!

Wonderful Hotel in Downtown Pittsburg! Nicely appointed, very helpful staff who seem to really like their jobs and take pleasure in providing excellent service! This Hotel has staff who provide excellent Customer Service! They were very good at providing walking maps and recommending local restaurants for guests with special dietary requirements!

All was great except for some of the jagoff staff attitude.

Old but noble. A little bit difficult to find the room because the meeting rooms are not in an open structure.
