Nice hotel and offers walking distance to all things to do in downtown Pittsburgh. Staff is attentive, parking is $36 per day but just down the street there is a huge parking deck where it s significantly cheaper for those with a car to park.

Amazing historic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Staff are very friendly and genuinely want to accommodate guests.

Dinner at the Terrace room was equally amazing and the quality of the food, as well as portion sizes, were above and beyond.

So beautiful. Spacious rooms. Delicious food. Centrally located. The housekeeping staff even turns down your beds and puts on soothing music at night. There are baskets of the most delicious and aromatic apples at the front desk. The staff was superb, so helpful, so gracious.

I left my wallet full of money, and some other valuables in a drawer at this hotel. We were notified before we boarded our plane. Everything was shipped to me at their expense! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We will stay here again when visiting Pittsburgh!

The staff were attentive and kind. Excellent service. Rooms were cleaned and staff quickly learnt my personal organization and didn't disrupt what might've looked like a mess to other people. Catered food here is amazing. I'm sure I gained a few pounds 'snacking' during the conference meetings. Great views of Pittsburgh and room support staff is always on hand for any problems. Front desk helped me find transportation and even went further to provide coupons to discount the ride. Would definitely go back!

This was our second stay at the Omni William Penn.

We were greeted promptly and energetically by staff.(We were still in our wedding attire as we had just been married)

When we went to our room to drop luggage and freshen up, staff had told our wedding photographer she was not allowed to take pictures of us on the property. We thought this was very strange. We were not trying to have an entire session there, just snap a few pictures in the beautiful lobby.

We didn't want to put a damper on the night so we headed out to enjoy our evening.

Room was as expected. Staff was great, especially the valet. No complaints other than the photograph awkwardness.

We probably won't be staying here again, as there are many options in Pittsburgh.

Love this hotel so much. I ve stayed there at least 20 times. WTH happened to the breakfast at the terrace room? Used to be amazing! Now they charge 30 a head for basically a continental breakfast. Stay in the beds. Go somewhere else for breakfast. I can t even describe the disappointment on New Year s Day to cold bacon for 30 dollars.

- specifically asked to be placed away from elevators. Instead, they put me next to an elevator, which kept me awake most of the night.
-AC won't cool.
- wifi is poor
- spots on sheets
- moldy smell in room

No turndown service, surprising for a 4+ Star property. Called 3 times for housekeeping and they did not show until 10PM and with a very 'poor' attitude to say the least. Room service while swift was off as well - bagel with two bottoms, and no water delivered. There was also no water in the room - bottles. Rooms are also dark and somewhat dungeonous!!! Needs update - bathroom in a suite was tiny, no do not disturb sign for the door. Bottom line very, very disappointed in this property. WIFI was for a fee - for a 4+ star hotel and these rates? Parking was exorbitant as well, there are better options in the Area, will stay at one them the next time.

Very nice stay overall. The lobby is gorgeous and the rooms were clean. The standouts were the workers. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and engaging. Would definitely recommend and stay at again

I was really impressed with the quality of the hotel. I loved the rooms, and I could really feel the history of the hotel. The main lobby was BEAUTIFUL, with a real early 1900s feel. The Tap Room had a nice selection of local beers, and the rooms were quite comfortable. Loved it!

I was here for the week on business. Upon arrival I was happy with the hotel. Around 1am I was woken up by the room next to me that had an "incident". There was a crying infant and fighting adults who were screaming and banging on the door. I had to call the front desk to call security TWO times before anything happened. This went on for at least an hour. I'm livid about the sleep I lost and discomfort I had to experience. I didn't feel safe to even leave my room. The door was eventually broken into I'm assuming I will attach an image in another post. When I spoke to the manager this morning she offered me a free breakfast and WiFi... really? That's not customer service. I will not be staying here again and I will make sure no one from my company stays here in the future.

Good location, clean, friendly but VERY expensive - price tags on items in the room! Never saw this before in my life! Did not eat in the hotel due to pricing - at $245. per night PLUS valet parking PLUS internet PLUS bottled water and other items, in my opinion unless you have money to waste, I would stay elsewhere and have more funds to enjoy the opportunities in the city.

I would not recommend this hotel based on my first experience. Traveled a long way with my family and heard about the Omni. We went to check it out and were hanging out until security guard Craig Martin started harrassing us. He kept doing it through out the night because we weren t staying at the hotel. My uncle was on his second cocktail when he came back around the last time and told us we needed to leave, telling my uncle, he needs to chug his drink or leave it. He would not give us reasons besides saying we weren t staying at the hotel and that it s private property and he can deny service to anyone. Definitely won t be going there again.

A friend and I were running in the Pittsburgh half marathon and we needed a place to stay that was close to the start and finish of the race. Awesome location and very nice staff. Room was very clean and very nice. We ate at Tonic, which was within walking distance. It was very good. Also a quick mention would be a trip to the Grove City outlets. They were fantastic as well. This hotel was very clean, has very friendly staff and close to a lot of things to do downtown. Would stay there again!

I travel to william omni penn annually, and this trip was below average. The room was dark, dingey and the finishes on the walls and ceilings were below average. Likely the last year we attend this hotel unfortunately.

Stayed for one night to have a Christmas weekend in the city. The staff was friendly, the room was wonderful, and the hotel lobby was beautiful with all of the Christmas decorations! I will definitely stay again.

Classy hotel with a huge lobby. Once I stepped into the door, I heard the light jazz music and regular business bustle you normally expect in movies. I found the front desk extremely helpful with suggestions and the lady even gave me a free upgrade for giving her a warm smile.

The rates are rather expensive (usually $300 per night without discounts), and downtown Pittsburgh usually dies after 8PM, but I found the hotel itself is beautiful enough to just kick back and enjoy.

Not that it's allowed, but I wound up pushing my two double beds together and rolling around because it's always fun to be silly. My favorite was the over abundance of pillows in my room. I wound up building a pillow fort and camping out for the night. Business trips are fun.

We stayed here last summer during our vacation in wonderful Pittsburgh and we couldn't have been more impressed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Landmark Historic Omni William Penn Hotel. Our room and bed was very comfortable. Parking can be a bit tricky, best to go with Hotel valet parking. Kid and disability friendly, they also have a Gift Shop and Public Restrooms and Restaurants. Walking distance to all of downtown Pittsburgh including the ball stadiums, all major attractions and restaurants. Being from the Pittsburgh area, this is where we stay every time we are back in the 'burg.' We look forward to our next stay. Just love this place and Pittsburgh!

Nice hotel in good downtown location. Beautiful inside and convenient access to Starbucks, Bruggers, and Jamba Juice. Disappointing that WiFi isn't free and guests can't use a cart to get their bags to their rooms. Valet isn't worth it, garage across the street is WAY cheaper

Racist

Amazing rooms considering the building is 103 years old! Conference space and staff were spectacular. You call feel a century of history walking the halls, seeing the grand ballroom and in every little niche. The Tap Room had amazing food, a quaint well-aged atmosphere, and great service.
