Absolutely stunning lobby area, incredible details, elegance throughout, fine restaurant... Room was nice although the bathroom was ridiculously small.

Before making a reservation, just try to call them and you will see there is no way to contact anyone in this hotel! I stayed there for a week and the experience was OK but then for an issue in my receipt I had to call to fix it in the past couple of days I tried to call to the phone number provided in the receipt, website, for hundreds of time no one answers the phone!!! Unbelievable!!! Don t make the mistake of staying there you will regret later!!
I m a frequent traveler, and the service here is absolutely top notch. The only hotel I ve stayed at who competes is I d say the Thompson Hotel in Seattle. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful and professional. Paul at the concierge was very helpful. The old world grandeur of the hotel was picturesque. The room was nice. A tad dated but not obnoxiously or to a fault. The bed was super comfortable. I stayed in Room 631, which was right be the elevators. A few items I d recommend for improvement: Bathroom vent (not functional), USB ports, and lowered water pressure. Then again, I guess having too much water pressure is better than the alternative? Hot shower, nice vanity, clean room. Entire hotel felt very clean. Also, the hotel had a nice restaurant (Terrace Room) and a Starbucks right on site. I was very happy I chose this place, and highly recommend it.
Beautiful hotel perfectly located right in the heart of downtown. It is a short walk to the PPG arena and right next to a metro stop that can take you to PNC Park, Heinz Field, and the Carnegie Science Center. If you plan on visiting downtown Pittsburgh I would highly recommend this hotel!
We stayed at The Omni William Penn Hotel for a weekend while attending
the Division II NCAA Festival. The hotel is beautiful, and has everything you need! It was decorated for Christmas, and was so pretty. The staff was wonderful - friendly, efficient, welcoming, helpful. We could not have asked for a nicer stay.
Staying here for family wedding. Even though I noticed other weddings when passing through the lobby, I never felt like anyone other than our group was a priority. Excellent service, great staff beautiful venue. The trifecta!
Incredible old hotel that's been made new. Great rooms, good breakfast buffet, though pricey. Loved it
Staff is incredibly helpful and professional. I am both staying here, and working an event here. My hotel room is great, and they're very helpful regarding the event
This was a beautiful hotel to stay in. Chaz was such a helpful concierge. He physically walked me to 2 different venues in order to find them!
Well maintained facility, friendly staff, quality food and service
Beautifull hotel. Imagine going back to the twenties of the last century
I had a great stay at the Omni William Penn. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and spacious.
The service was wonderful, and the rooms were nice and reasonably priced. The eateries were also fantastic.
Old fashioned luxury never goes out of style ! Impeccable staff. Beautiful rooms and views.
Historic full service luxury hotel. The lobby room is just beautiful. The rooms are cozy. Staff is amazing. Enjoyed my stay.
They was trying to attempt human trafficking which involves child molest, torture, and murder. However, the issue has been dealt with and now they're in a position to be getting disoriented themselves....those who are actually guilty, that is.
The speakeasy has a great atmosphere and delicious drinks.
Easy parking, convenient to get in and out for business.
The front desk was helpful in helping me find a more suitable room. Great experience.
Classic (and classy) hotel with exceptional views from the upper floor rooms.
The Omni William Penn Hotel is a superb hotel. The staff were very courteous and kind, the rooms were larger than usual, and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is visiting Pittsburgh, PA.
Friendly staff will go the extra mile for you. The architecture is quite nice.
The Omni William Penn Hotel is a beautiful hotel with rich and luxurious architecture. We stopped for a business meeting and coffee. The Starbucks of off the lobby was very busy.
Only accompanied a colleague to help her check in. There was an issue with the company credit auth and the customer service provided by the front desk was initially terrible. I believe a different manager did eventually work to make the situation better.
Older, classic downtown hotel in immaculate condition. Comfortable, spacious room (though no view). Many dining/drinking options in-house. Staff extremely efficient and friendly. Only real downside was overpriced parking.
Attended a wedding here, everything was great. building was clean. staff was nice. had a great experience. went to the Hotel bar close the little early but still a good time
Room was a little small compared to my previous visit. Visit so far has been great as always. William Penn Hotel is within walking distance of countless restaurants and has a restuarant/bar in the lobby. I am here for work and love staying at this hotel.
It needs ducks. The Peabody Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, has ducks. Ducks are cool.
Historic and classically gorgeous building and hotel. We stayed here with a large group for a wedding. I don't believe worth the price tag, although the location is central and staff was helpful. Main two issues is that our room had a strong musty mildewy smell. They said they had fixed it but hadn't. On cleaning up to checkout realized back floor near window was inexplicably wet, the potential source. When went to get antihistamine in middle of night (maybe because musty source) no 24hr drug store within a mile and nothing at front desk. Second, the terrible 3 mbps internet was $10 a day! Easy to miss that charge as well with how login is written.
I Mobile order my Starbucks in the Omni Hotel almost everyday and is always ready when I get there the trick is to get someone to actually give it to you, on some days you'll wait a bit otherwise this Starbucks is very efficient and some more friendly than others.
The absolutely beautiful Omni Penn Hotel gives you a luxurious experience for the price of an economy motel. Extremely spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel's food was, in my judgement, the best in the city, to include the supposed "five star" restaurants. Worth every penny!
Great place to stay in the middle of it all! This place has the elegant and classic old hotel grandeur that is rarely reproduced today. Beautiful building, professional staff and very comfortable stay...
For its good service and its extreme elegance, it was an unforgettable experience, the place is wonderful and the attention is in keeping with the place
I ate dinner at the Tap Room. The food was good, and the drink selection was nice, but the service was stretched a little thin. There were a lot of guests and only two servers. I would return because the staff was very friendly regardless.
Great experience. Perfect location downtown for many activities, especially the theatre district. Clean, comfortable, lovely room.
This is a beautiful grand hotel with all of the modern amenities you could ask for. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I cannot say enough good things about the friendliness of the staff here. Every person we encountered was personable and upbeat. Graham was the first person we met and everyone after that was just as attentive and accommodating. In a world where politeness seems to be dying, it was refreshing to be treated so well.
We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and did the romance package. Restaurant was closed due to private event but everyone at hotel was so polite and professional. End up eating dinner in room which was way better. Room service was amazing. Everyone treated us like we were royalty. Amazing food and room. Will definitely be back. Amazing hotel.
Stayed here with my sister as a special treat.....the dinner there was one of the best we'd ever had. Such a beautiful lobby-
Room wasn't QUITE as fancy as we thought it would have been, but still very nice.
Very nice, historical building in downtown Pittsburgh. Within minutes of Market Square and the north shore sports complex (PNC Park, Heinz Field). The amenities in the hotel are very nice, bordering on elegant with a classical feel to them. The hotel is very well-managed. Hotel staff are very polite, professional, courteous and helpful. Highly recommend!
From beautiful rooms, to spectacular views from the room everything was great. The staff was incredible and super friendly. Worth every penny.
I love the atmosphere. Such a great place to stay. Very friendly staff, fantastic food and there 8$ an attached Starbucks.
The Historic hotel is great for professional gatherings! The Grand Ballroom is very spacious and can accommodate a large group!
My company's holiday party was here an I must say I was very underwhelmed. The decor was very nice. The overall experience for the event, however, was very flat. The food was average tasting at best and all of it was cold. The specially drinks were very good, though. The wait staff all seemed miserable and were less than attentive. The lone bright spot, outside of the drinks, was the dealer we had at our black jack table for the Monte Carlo night.
All I can say is we are still waiting to check into our room which we booked months ago! We drove 7+ hours for Steelers game which starts at 8:30pm and we need to get ready and relax for a little while. Unreal, this is so unprofessional!!!
Wonderful hotel in the grand style. Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. Will be back.
Great and beautiful place to stay. Remember over 100 years old. Make sir you bring your charging stations
The bathroom door too close to the toilet, and the toilet it WAY too Low.
The young band, Funky Fly Project is EXCELLENT. The food left a lot to be DESIRED.
I went to the tap room for happy hour. It was very nice and everyone was very friendly
Wonderful hotel downtown. Just s short walk to PPG Paints Arena. Parking directly across the street if you are not interested in valet service.
I have no idea how they received 5 star reviews.
We left the room and returned about 10pm they never cleaned it.
When i inquired why it wasn't done they stated bcuz i left items on the bed and they dont move anything off the bed. They offered room service however at that time of night I was exhausted and declined.
The bathroom was ignored completely except we did receive plenty of towels.
When I asked if internet was complementary the response I received was, "nothing is complementary ".
The bed was extremely comfortable.
HBO channel kept losing sound.
I'll never be back.
Also, for the price, I recommend the Days Inn or Hilton or Westin.
There was timely service in the bar. Great place to stop for drinks downtown.
Food was good but pretty overpriced in my opinion. Cheapest entree was $24 for roasted cauliflower? I understand it's a fancy place but that's a little rich for my blood. I ended up getting the chicken dish with risotto which was good but I could have gotten the same quality food for a lot less than $26 elsewhere. Not to mention the restaurant was nearly empty the entire time we were there.
The personnel is the best. All of them! Not only at the front desk. It belongs to the list of the most gorgeous hotels from the Mid '20s.
Highly recommended.
Pricey. That's the only negative statement I could make, and it's not like the process are astronomical or anything; they're just a little more upscale than I'm used to in a hotel.
It was nice. Parking is across the street. Friday night Jazz trio sounded good. Sign up for loyalty members account for perks, it is worth it.
Beautiful place. Employees were all very nice. Great location
Beautiful hotel. My room has lots of dysfunctional elements (lamps that didn't completely done, a radio that made lots of static). Had to unplug lots of things to get peace & quiet.
I went to the Starbucks in the hotel and it was very nice with courteous employees.
Very convenient location in downtown Pittsburgh. The room rates are reasonable, and the facilities are excellent. The building adds a lot of character, and the furnishings help the rooms match that character while providing modern amenities.
Fabulous historic hotel... Great views... Great food... Great staff
Very good hotel. My room was great with nice view. Only one thing to be 5 for me is internet connection on room. Should be 3MB but it was problem download even emails.
