One of the better hotels at a reasonable price I have ever booked in the US. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful, while the amenities and rooms are all completely sufficient if not a step above and beyond your standard luxury accomodations.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Omni. The support staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous in every way. The hotel is located downtown and is excellent proximity to a number of offices and dining establishments. I plan on staying there again and would recommend this hotel to travellers going through Pittsburgh.
The archecture and design is breathtakingly beautiful. The lobby is goregous and has an 20's era opulance feel. The rooms have quite a bit of variation. Mine was small and L-shaped. The size was not a huge problem with it just being myself, however would have been cramped with two or more.
Breakfasts are good, but plan on spending $20 for the buffet and other excellent meals. The hotel has received numerous awards for food quality.
Stayed here for business, so dont ask me about price.
Room service food isnt worth the price - my best recommendation is to just take a walk around downtown pittsburgh, you'll find something you'll love for a much cheaper price.
Valet is what you expect, which I hardly used considering our office building was walking distance. If you were staying for fun, and you dont mind taxis, then Id recommend that over valet service.
Ate at the Terrace ... Not bad, comfort-fancy environment and solid food.
Great room service, and very clean. Staff are extremely helpful !
My wife and I stayed here the night before a wedding in a suburb of Pittsburgh. The hotel has a great old school vibe, and style. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and very nice. The only reason this review is not 5 stars is the bathroom. The toilet was small, and wedged in a weird space. As a guy it was hard for me to use. The toilet also ran a lot during the night and the shower leaked. Besides that it was a wonderful experience, and when I am in Pittsburgh again, I'll be staying here.
Amazing service, first class staff, and beautiful hotel!
The nicest hotel I have ever stayed in! The staff at the desk, as well as the service staff were absolutely wonderful!
I'm a priceline junkie and I love getting rates on great hotels from coast to coast.
The Omni is easily the best on Priceline for Pittsburgh. The rooms are huge. The lobby is stunning. Even the bar downstairs has some great food. Downtown Pittsburgh is a ghost town after dark, so the cheap parking at the garage next door is a definite "must" for those on a budget, because you'll be driving to get to anything worth going to.
Robes in the closet are good enough to take home, but the star of the show is the monster bed that I would happily spend the rest of my life in.
Beautiful hotel with all the amenities great Jim 24-hour room service wonderful place to relax
Turned us away saying no rooms and then let someone purchase a room at the front desk next to us
Absolutely the best hotel in Pittsburgh. My wife and I have made the William Penn Omni our "go to" when visiting the "Burgh".
Hotel lobby was beautiful and the room was nice. Did not seem to have free WiFi or at least I had trouble connecting to it which is why I gave it 4 stars.
Do NOT attend the Omni Tap Room. Our french fries which should have been offered as a salad topping at most took over 45 minutes to arrive. I should have known when our three waters arrived one at a time. I understand being busy but our waitress could care less about how we felt and about anyone else in the whole place. Everyone was frustrated
Very high quality drinks, you pay for it, bit it's totally worth it!
Hotel is beautiful and extremely unique. Rooms are a little cramped but clean with all the standard features. There is a pretty nice fitness center but no pool.
Very nice room, great location with lots of restaurants near by
Difficult parking, cumbersome valet with separate entrance and congested curbside service. Convenient Starbucks located in lobby. Lobby restaurant with elegant decorations offering high tea on weekends.
Great location in downtown Pittsburgh. Recommend this location if you are going to a pirates game. About a 15 minute walk to the stadium. Staff members were delightful. Will def come back again the next time I visit the city for a game.
We were on the 17th floor for breakfast for a professional event and the service and food was top notch.
Awesome bar. Beautiful architecture. WiFi is not free. Has a starbuvks
This is a beautiful hotel. Lobby is open and gorgeous. Great places to sit, talk, meet or read. Lounge is good. I did not use and other services because I was at a convention and we were provided group meals which were adequate but not well seasoned. That may have been due to the need to please so many. My room and bathroom were small but in all other respects this is a lovely hotel in a excellent location.
Comfortable room, the view wasn't great but I guess you can't expect every room to have a good one. Overall a nice stay.
Great service and atomosphere. Food was beyond expectation.
The location is convenient and the historic decor really sets it apart from other hotels. The lounge provides an extravagant view of a different era.
Stopped at the SpeakEasy for an evening adult beverage. I absolutely love this place. The decor and ambiance takes you to the 1920's. Service was excellent.
Price is right if you go through Priceline. Older hotel with a ton of character, updated rooms, and close to everything.
I stopped in the William Penn with friends to go ts Starbucks. It was the perfect place to sit and share coffee with old friends.
Stayed for an academic conference. Turned out to be a really nice experience apart from the confusing signage.
Right next to a parking garage with $5 overnight weekend parking. Mini fridge, safe, iron and blow dryer provided in room. Room was clean and well maintained. Everything is dated but in good shape. Tap room open till 2AM.
The most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. It is very spacious and calm. Some hotels are overly bustling for no reason. The Omni is relaxed and warm. Our room was perfect, although there weren't many lights. It did give the room a certain mood, but for reading it wasn't very helpful. The shower and bathroom were large and finely decorated. The halls were quiet and the view from our window offered a nearly symmetical view of the nearby archetecture. It was my first time at the Omni, but I loved it.
Absolutely amazing hotel full of history and class. The rooms were exquisite and perfect. The ballrooms are grand and full of classic art. Even the bars on the ground level feel like tucked away secrets. I don't usually stay in fancy hotels, but this one is one to go to when you want it all.
Grand old iconic lobby! Lots of folks hanging out. Great place to have coffee, meet up or people watch. Pittsburgh tradition.
Nice but not what you would expect from a 4-5 star hotel.
Beautiful facility with prime location, but some electrical problems in room and fitness center. For such a fancy place, fees abound for what is often complimentary at other establishments.
This was a staycation for us...so we had access to alot of what Pittsburgh has to offer...Dinning, clubs, historical venues...Really the best place to stay, hands down!!!
Perfect wedding spot
Very beautiful wedding room
Beautiful hotel with friendly services and phenomenal decor.
We were here for a wedding reception and the service was impeccable and the food was delicious.
Had a wonderful stay, staff was great . A magnificent place to stay.
Great place with starbucks and food close by. Anything you needed was close by. Gift shop with snacks, a bar, restaurants all at ground level.
A VERY LUXURIOUS,

Had great close parking, beautiful lobby and spacious rooms!
Beautiful hotel with friendly staff walking distance to parks, food and shops. Dog friendly environment!
Everything was perfect, just be aware that extra charges that might ve posted to ypyr account without you noticing.
Our stay was fine, but it didn't feel like Omni. Everything was outdated, the room felt musty, the towels smelled off, the shower made a weird noise when turned to the hot water setting, the windows were dirty and the AC wouldn't cool beyond 74/75 degrees.
We found out at checkout that we were supposedly on one of the older floors/rooms that hadn't been renovated yet (7th floor).
The staff is friendly and the location is really nice. Maybe some of the other floors have better in-room amenities. You should specifically ask for an updated room!
I left thinking that I'd rather have stayed at my preferred chain, in a similar location, for the same overall experience, for maybe a lower rate and gotten some points out it. Meh...
It's a beautiful place.very friendly and helpful people.went to a work shop here
The hotel is beautiful. The room we were in had a good view of the city. It was a bit small bit otherwise excellent. We were excited for the restaurants, but they we're hit and miss. They seemed understaffed and tense at times, and sometimes it took a long while to get our orders. Also we were denied entrance to some places due to occupancy restrictions, so be sure to check them out early.
Beautiful hotel. Loved all of the architecture. Very spacious rooms.
Online check in made life significantly easier. Beautiful rooms. Hotel is gorgeous. Breakfast is a bit disappointing however.
Beautiful hotel. Small rooms and even smaller bathrooms. Water temperature got quite scaldingly hot & the water pressure was too high. Restaurants inside the hotel are wonderful, but a bit pricey. A basic drink starts at $11. The Speakeasy concept is the highlight of the hotel. Worth the night, but I don't think I'll be going back.
Rooms were clean and very nice. We got drinks at the speakeasy, which was a very interesting feature to an older hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful lobby with a comfortable sitting area. We enjoyed listening to the live piano player and sipping on some wigle whiskey drinks from the tasting room.
Luxurious hotel woth tradition. Wil be back in March 2018
Hospitality very poor, we didn't have any AC in our room even after calling down to the front desk. We were given a $10 box fan. We stay at Omni Bedford often this was nothing compared to the hospitality offered there. Wall paper peeling off the wall etc. We will never stay here again for the amount of money they are charging for the rooms. This is by far no where even close to a 4 or 5 star hotel very disappointed with our stay.
The food and drinks we got were good but a little over priced.
We always stay here and it's awesome because the windows open. 100% if the time it's waaaaay too hot in the room, Halls, elevators, etc. But the windows open so you can sleep! We always stay here in the winter for that fact alone.
The room was very clean and the whole experience with my stay and staff was wonderful.
The rooms were delightful and enormous! Fridge in room. Friendly staff. Hallways are a bit of a maze but it's a great stay.
Beautiful historical hotel. Room was underwhelming and still had trash from previous occupants. The linens were wrinkled and looked less than fresh/clean.
I didn't come here as a hotel guest. My visit was limited to the office suites. That being said, the hotel was easy to navigate and very pretty inside.
Great meeting space. Luxurious ball room with great architecture, light and art on the 17th floor. Friendly and attentive service staff.
Great hotel. Excellent service and a rich history!
Love love love great experience went there after my college graduation
Historic, but a little dingy. Great service though.
Very interesting place... Incredible building. Great service and personnel.. would recommend to everyone going downtown Pittsburgh! Loved it!
