Went there and they all are friendly, but unfortunately I didn't get to stay a night there. Next time, I'd like to try.

Beautiful hotel, good food and very Central to many things in Pittsburg
Lots of weird animal people walking around! What a crazy world!
Beautiful classic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Room isn t huge but clean and quiet. Walking distance to cultural district and river walk. Love the entryway and exterior.
Very stately hotel in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh
Wonderful hotel, historic and beautiful. Great bedding, loved the shower and water pressure!
I had my senior prom in the ballroom, it was amazing
I love the atmosphere at the Omni. It is a taste of classic without being overdone or stuffy. It's just enough to make your stay feel classy without breaking the bank.
Fantastic hot, really old art decor that is fascinating to look at. Fantastic service great rooms.
Nice classic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Here for a conference, but lots of meeting rooms and the staff has been very attentive. No complaints.
James, Zander, and Zachary were excellent! Celebrated 20th anniversary getaway. Beautiful place! Loved it
We stayed a few nights recently at the Omni William Penn Hotel for a conference at the convention center. It was very nice, probably one of the fancier hotels in the area. Overall: clean and comfortable, and generally friendly staff. The room was clean and beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Only complaint about the room was the shower head didn't actually fit the holder so we had to finagle it in order to shower. Slightly annoying, but not really a big deal since it still worked and still had good pressure. There was a mini fridge in the room which was very convenient for drinks and lunch leftovers. There was also a small safe, ironing board, and hairdryer. One of our meetings was in one of the conference rooms upstairs. Nothing super special, but it was nice and we were able to have coffee and carry on with our business. The restrooms around the conference rooms were also very clean and comfortable. I was slightly disappointed that they didn't have a pool, but they do have a nice fitness center. They also have a business center but the gentleman at the front desk was slightly rude and didn't bother trying to tell me I could have used that instead of the computer near the front desk. When I tried asking him anything in regards to that computer or printing from there, he gave me short, snooty answers and I felt like I was bothering him; even though he wasn't helping anybody, he was just stuffing bags. On another note, the other ladies that were at the front desk were helpful and friendly when we checked in and out and when I bought stamps. It was a short, easy-to-navigate walk to the convention center, which was very convenient. There are also plenty of sights to see and places to eat right around the hotel and in and around downtown. Very nice hotel, I definitely recommend staying here!
Beautiful old hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Gorgeous lobby, friendly staff. Convienent to public transportation but we were able to walk everywhere.
Great location that had perfect close parking across the street. Wonderful old charm and still had new amenities in the rooms.
My husband and I did the downtown date night and loved it.
Location was very clean and enjoyed our visit very much!
This review is for the Terrace Room, the restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. The food and service is always wonderful there. And there is no beating the ambience of this historic hotel.
Location is right in the middle of downtown next to a T stop. Rooms were spacious, service was amazing. The building is gorgeous. Would recommend.
The staff seemed to be very nice and the locale was very clean, although it did seem a bit crowded.
The Omni William Penn Hotel is a wonderful hotel in Pittsburgh. They are a few restaurants inside the hotel. It has a beautiful lobby and a wonderful staff.
Horribly rude staff member after they incorrectly processed our payment
A very luxurious hotel with Art Deco design from the 1920s. Very posh ....
Very well decorated rooms, comfortable bed.
There is no B&B here you want to eat pay and lots! For example breakfast costs starting at $ 15
This is a hotel for business people less for families and children ... (pretty boring here!) Free WiFi in the lobby only in the rooms is $ 10 per day.
pay attention! There is no parking here at all !!! The cost of parking per day (24 hours) is $ 36 !!! That it's crazy.
There is great public transport that reaches almost as far as the development of the hotel so to take advantage of it!
The service is excellent.
It was delicious and so comfortable. The staff was nice and attentive and I'd absolutely recommend it and go back.
Very nice hotel. The inside is gorgeous and the staff is superior
Nice, good service, not very well maintained. The plants in the main lobby are plastic, not very appealing.
The room is beautiful and great quality for a 4 star hotel. That being said, the mini fridge is worse at cooling drinks than putting said drinks on the AC vent and turning on said AC.
Amazing historic hotel... Great rooms, great location.
Beautiful location; friendly staff. Room was small. Lack of turndown service was a bit disappointing.
Had a drink in the Omni William Penn's Speakeasy Bar. Very nice, small, intimate place to gather with friends. Outstandingly mixed classic drinks, like a Tom Collins. Get there early though since there is limited seating.
Had High Tea in the lobby. For $25, a good deal although not as nice as a truly top end High Tea in many other cities... although they are typically more expensive. At a nice property like the Wm Penn you would expect a truly high end experience.
Service was great, food was great, decor was beatiful. No complaints.
Great, historic hotel. Unfortunately, the spaces for a conference are a bit small and cramped. Also, the rooms that are overlooking the physical plant are very noisy at night.
Great hotel. Starbucks in the hotel is super convenient. Lol
Overall great stay. However room was a bit stuffy as AC was not working very well
I loved staying here. The room was spacious and clean. The beds are amazing. I slept like a queen. The staff was super nice and helpful.
Excellent location, clean comfy rooms (nice touch with the motion-activated night lights to save toe stubs), and a friendly staff. Bagel shop-adjacent and a special shout-out to Mike at the Tap Room, a friendly and engaging waiter who made feel very welcome our first night.
Conveniently located in downtown Pittsburgh, large comfortable hotel, great for conferences. It was easy to walk to restaurants, the Strip, and public transportation. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Service is slow, people are not happy. Food is not worth the amount you are going to spend. Food came out cold after it was sitting under a heat lamp. Hotel room is nice. But eat somewhere else.
Only stopped into the tap room for drinks while waiting for my wife to finish up with work next door. Tap room is nice and clean with decent decor and a friendly vibe. Good service and a great selection of bourbon, scotch, and other liquor. Smallish tap list for beers but a couple of local craft selections available.
Friendly, pleasant accommodating staff throughout the hotel. Clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Number one choice when returning to Pittsburgh.
Centrally located downtown this hotel offers an elegant respite from the bustling city
Upon entrance you are greeted by the good man go through a circular doorway and are greeted by a beautiful lobby with comfortable chairs and bright chandeliers. To the right is check in to the left is a dining area offering high tea. Sundry shop well stocked and staff are also courteous.
Standard room offers comfortable beds well lit with desk and sofa area as well as standard flat screen t.v.
Wifi is around 10 dollars for standard and 15 dollars for high speed connections
If you are a omni gold or platinum it is 5 dollars a day.
Fitness center on lobby level
Buisiness center on conference level
Very nice stay
Would recommend
Great hotel, the rooms are excellent. The rest of the staff is a little noise and dry. Good food and drink options around.
Got a really great price in our room which was spacious and enjoyable. My only complaint with the room was the shower pressure. It was very intense with no obvious way to slow it down. Minor gripe overall though.
Historic hotel. Rooms are a little old. Service was great.
Great customer service, fantastic environment, and comfortable place to rest.
My favorite hotel downtown Pittsburgh! They have a parking garage right across hotel that has affordable parking, hotel has friendly staff, beds are very comfortable, the food is amazing, there is a Starbucks downstairs. No comaplints!! Will be back!!
Awesome experience. Wonderful ambiance and the speak easy is great.
The location is great, right downtown with a garage next to the hotel. The room was fine and serviceable, and the service was good, if expensive. It was a very easy stay and accommodated whatever needed, and is recommended.
Hotel is wonderful. WP has the best and softest pillows, spacious rooms and the best champagne I ever had at a wedding. WP have very professional staff.
Wonderful night spending at Omni in celebrating our 30th anniversary!!
Visited for a charity event. Great food. Beautiful venue.
Hot on the 16th floor really nice place just hot ,next time I wont get a room that high! But they were super nice(everyone) it was really clean ,and right in the middle of everything, I really give them a 4.5 stars ,but I really hate being hot!
A gorgeous hotel in the heart of downtown pittsburgh
Very classy hotel that is a throwback to when class, service and style mattered
Only sat in the Starbucks. Good lighting, comfortable seating.
My wife and I went for their afternoon tea after we found a deal on Groupon. What a wonderful date! The inside of the hotel is stunning, and we were seated near a window with a view out into the courtyard. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable, and more importantly, she was able to pace our experience out just right. The tea was, of course, excellent, as were all of the finger foods that were included. We probably spent over an hour lounging in oversized chairs, sipping tea and taking in the atmosphere, and enjoyed every second of it.
No ac in corridors. AC in the rooms did not keep up. Comfort was the main problem. Staff and beauty of the hotel made the stay ok. Service was good. Friendly. A winter stay may be better. To be fair it was wicked hot out
Looks historic. grand looking hotel. Good conference venue. Excellent location
I would have given five stars because the location is perfect, the building is lovely, the rooms are expected, restaurants good, front desk staff awesome, but room 1025, we stayed may 13 to may 17, was right next to a staff only room. They must have the laundry in there because all day and night we heard loud thumping noises, radios, water pipes, and grinding noises from that room.
This is a great hotel, but stay away from 1025. I would have complained to desk if a gentleman had ot already upgraded us to a king room when we arrived for no reason other than to be nice.
I met up with a friend who was visiting town. Very nice inside.
Very nice hotel. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was no free breakfast/coffee but we knew that before we booked. I would definitely stay again.
I ate at the sports bar just off the lobby, which was awesome. The food was great and not expensive and the wait staff was friendly and efficient. Would eat at again.
This historic hotel is gorgeous and the staff was amazing. A must stay if you're traveling to Pittsburgh.
It is worth a visit to the " Speakeasy" on the lower level...great cocktails in a cool atmosphere prepared by one of the most talented mixologists in the region.
A friendly staff and a great speakeasy bar that serves the best Manhattan.
The cream of the crop when it comes to old school luxury in Pittsburgh. Went for a morning breakfast and received fantastic service and was presented with a wonderful spread. Go hungry.
Attending an industry conference at the William Penn has been good. The food is excellent and the venue is unique. The chairs however are just uncomfortable, which brings down what would otherwise be a great experience.
