Very nice hotel. Room was clean and well put together.
Cool historic hotel. Lots of room on the first floor for meeting up with other people.
The hotel has an neat historic feel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I slept well. A little disappointed that I had to sign up for the hotels distribution / rewards program to receive free WiFi in my room. Im accustomed to free WiFi for guests without strings attached back home.
Staff was courteous and helpful, prices reasonable, try the punch bowl!
Very nice rooms and staff. Food provided for the conference was very good. Had a little bit of issues with my room rate, but, the staff was nice about it worked to address my issue in another way.
Lovely employees, but older hotel. Plugs in room loose in walls...kind of sketchy. Food at conference decent. Wine 15.00 a glass...out of my price range. Nice location. Bed comfy. Nice view.
centrally located, surely such historical hotels are a matter of taste,
in small details is not always up to date but has charm, had corner room, quiet, two fentster you can open in the upper floors, mattress still ok rather soft,
When we go to the cultural district, this is where we stay. No reason to look elsewhere. From the valet service, to the price and the elegant rooms, we're hooked!
Oldest hotel in Pittsburgh shows its historic charm and its age.
Always made to feel like family when staying at the Omni William Penn
I enjoyed a delicious lunch in the Grand Ballroom on the 17th floor. The venue was perfect for the large-scale event and I felt comfortable at the seat. The only time that things got cramps is when everybody tried to exit at the same time on three elevators.
Beautiful hotel, convenient to great restaurants and downtown Pittsburgh attractions, but with excellent food in the hotel. And by far, the best staff of any hotel I've ever stayed at.
The best bed I have ever slept on in a hotel. All hotel staff was very nice. I just wish the speakeasy bar was open on Mondays.
It was an ok experience. Based on the reputation of the hotel I thought the rooms would be nicer; however, I do realize it is a very old and historic hotel.
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. In a great area. Walked to pnc park.
This hotel is very old and nice. Kind of like The Shining. I was there for Light up Night and it was decorated beautifully.
Had drinks at the bar. Beers were good, service was prompt.
This hotel was excellent. It was very clean - looked new. The value was exceptional. Although I used points, the actual nightly rate was very reasonable considering how close to the city and shopping this hotel was. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The amount of shopping around the hotel was incredible.
The available seating in the lobby was great. While it could get loud, it was easy enough to find a more quiet spot to have a business meeting.
Old fashioned elegance with modern flourishes. Fantastic rooms with plenty of space. The restaurants are great, and you cannot beat the Speakeasy for ambiance and drinks. The best place to stay in downtown Pittsburgh.
Comfortable, spacious, lovely staff. Loads of restaurants within easy walking distance. Would visit again, 100%
I attended the buffet dinner and orientation for the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County 53rd Annual Mock Trial. The dinner was good, service was good.
My wife and I usually stay here when "getting away" for an evening. The building is definitely older but has good character. Rooms are clean and quiet. And staff are always friendly and courteous. The parking garage can be a bit of a nightmare, but show me one that isn't.
We had an amazing weekend for my sister's birthday. The room was clean and the service was great. We had tea at the Terrace and dinner at the Tap Room with a stop at the Speakeasy in between! All of them were fantastic. We will definitely stay here again.
Very decent rooms. Free apples in the lobby in the morning. Quick valet service.
Went here for high tea. Uninspiring choices, pastries were so so. Service was good but the food itself was not.
Beautifully preserved old hotel in the downtown area within walking distance to the convention center and riverside.
Great hidden bar, drinks were excellent staff was very nice
The Omni operates this venerable old hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Everything was in great shape, impressive and staying in a hotel that first opened more than 100 years ago is a fun experience. You walk around and see/feel the history everywhere, yet it is in the type of shape as you would expect from a new hotel. All of the staff were helpful and the food was great!
I went in to Starbucks and it is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly. Great experience.
I had a meeting with someone in the lounge. It was very clean and comfortable. I loved being there. Pleasant experience.
Great large room, clean bathrooms! GREAT WATER PRESSURE!!
I was almost never able to reach the front desk or concierge during my stay. I would leave voicemails and not receive a call back. I booked this hotel through Expedia because it was listed as VIP hotel; however, I received no upgrades. The front desk staff said they would look into it when I checked in but I did not hear back from them. Expedia tried calling the hotel to sort it out and I was on hold with them for almost 2hrs. Expedia said that they kept being hung up on. The door men were wonderful and so was Danny the Bartender at the Terrace restaurant. The hotel was beautiful and my room was clean. I just wasn't able to get any ones attention when I needed to. Front desk and concierge seemed to be understaffed.
Valet parking is a bit expensive but overall the hotel is beautiful, the room was very clean, and overall service was great!
Love this hotel. I stay here every time I am in Pittsburgh. Excellent customer service!
Clean, friendly, beautiful. You get what you pay for.
A very unique, historic hotel with charm. Friendly staff and a upscale environment. Plan of staying there again next year for my trip.
One of the most picturesque places in Pittsburgh...stunning decor during the holidays
This hotel is clean and well kept. They did us a solid by giving us back to back rooms.
The staff is friendly and willing to help, for a fee of course. Parking is across the street in an underground garage. U can park yourself or go with the valet offering.
Fun and high end, and the costs reflect that.
Attended a social event here. Food was delicious and the interior design was beautiful. Wish there was more natural light let in.
Always a pleasure to stay at the OWPH. Since it's an older and rustic hotel, in the winter the rooms (exterior walls and around windows) can be a bit chilly. The views are always fantastic as they offer a great look into the architecture of Pittsburgh.
We went to the Wigle whiskey tasting roI'm and had drinks. The cocktails were good and you could also buy bottles. We also relaxed in the hotel lobby, which was nice and had live music.
Excellent place for a wedding, the Halls are warm and inviting
Fanciest place ever. Helpful staff...I mean...helpful and super friendly. If i wasn't poor...I'd go every time.
Wiglr whiskey is in the lobby. The service is very friendly and the cocktails are great. It's very clean and there's never a long wait time. Price's are very good for being downtown.
Comfortable, spacious room. Away from elevator, so very quiet
Hot, no breakfast. Beautiful and historic, hot. Good service
Old hotel. Very glamorous. No ac in the hallways. It's nice, but not modern.
Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, suave rooms, good food
The Omni William Penn is my go-to hotel in Pittsburgh. The front desk, bell, and housekeeping staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. Dawn, at the Speakeasy, is the best bartender in Pittsburgh. Importantly, and a lot of large hotels are not like this, the William Penn has plenty of elevators to accommodate everyone, even if the hotel is full. Being a Select Guest member gives you nice perks from the start, and the perks increase greatly as you rise in tier. And you can't beat the location- it's walking distance from everything in Downtown Pittsburgh. For convenience, service, and efficiency, you can't beat the William Penn.
