Great spot. A classic, great drinks and food. A little out of the way in the center of town, this restaurant has been a landmark in Hazleton for over 60 years. Italian food is the specialty of the house. A gem. Perfect steaks and always fresh. Great baked Italian clams!

Attended a conference, the rooms were well set up, clean, good temperature. They provided lunch and it was good and accommodating. They kept water filled, provided coffee and tea through the afternoon.

My husband and I stayed at the Omni William Penn Hotel recently while in Pittsburgh for a Steeler game. This hotel is my favorite in Pittsburgh. It has a classic charm that is unmatched. I love just sitting in the lobby and enjoying the elegance and atmosphere. The front desk employees go above and beyond to meet every need you have. We were able to check in early on a very busy Sunday morning, which was a help as we knew we would be out for the afternoon/early evening for the 4:25 football game. The rooms are quaint and have every item needed for a comfortable stay. Shower pressure is great, towels are thick and plentiful, our bed was so comfortable; I can't say enough good things about this hotel!
We try to stay here as often as we can!

Very nice hotel, but as with any city, getting there can be a nightmare depending on traffic. The hotel offers a reasonably priced valet service, and there is a garage across the way if you prefer (which can be cheaper depending on whether you're moving your vehicle).

Kind of quirky decor but this is a really fine hotel. The roof top bar was awesome and the restaurant/bar in the basement was very good as well. Not a bad price point for Downtown Pittsburgh too.

Great nostalgic hotel. Attention to detail is outstanding. A grand old hotel with great rooms and great service. I travel 90 percent of the year for my job, and stay at Marriotts whenever possible. Much better than a Marriott.

This Hotel was one the most gorgeous hotels I have ever stayed in. Was there for a conference and the service was top notch! Everybody was very friendly and pleasure to deal with. The only compliant I would have, the bar. They did not have regular beers, as simple as Coors Light, Miller Light.... etc. And I was very shocked they did not have Captain Morgan or anything similar to this brand. For a Pittsburgh Hotel with gorgeous bar, would think they would have local beers as well, besides a Penn Pillsner beer.

Dated and falling apart, rooms are dirty and the carpet looks filthy. You should only end up here if you re on a tight budget or if your company forces you to. Tons of better hotels in the area.

It s a nice hotel for the most part just a few things could have been tweaked. Our room needed some maintenance. The phones did not work in the room which I wasn t aware of until I tried to order room service. The ceiling in the bathroom needed a face lift. The outlets on the furniture needed to be replaced, items that were plugged in would fall out with the slightest touch. Loved the location to everything though. A few minutes from Market Square and the convention center. My kiddos were upset about their not being a pool, but don t know that there s is much to change that.

The terms of the romance package were not met. We were informed that we would not be able to dine on property, as promised per the package. The voucher amount for dinner was $100.00, which you pay for as part of the package. They refunded us $150.00, but we had to get reservations last minute, so there was little to choose from and it was a restaurant we had been to, and did not really want to return to. So, a $100.00 covered the bill at a restaurant we paid for but couldn't eat at. And the other $50.00 might cover the difference in price of the restaurants, and the inconvenience of being made to eat off property. But, really no concession was made for their error. Also, we were told that breakfast, which was also included on property, would most likely not be available either, as there was no reservations available. Even though both reservations were included in our package. After much ado, they managed to get us with only one time option. Unfortunately, there were no other choices. The room was dated and the furniture was "beaten up" and the couch and bed sagged. The bathroom was cramped, and the hot water took forever to heat up. Then, after we had dressed for dinner, which again, we had to leave the property because there were no tables available at the Terrace, as promised, the elevators were by passing all of the guest rooms on the lower floors. It turns out all of the elevators had been rented by a bank for a holiday party, leaving all guest below the tenth floor with access only to the stairs. So, I had to walk down seven flights of stairs in heels. We were not informed prior that this would be an issue, nor was any of the staff apologetic. The front desk reception was insulting rude, and when I demanded that I speak with a manager or director about the problems we were experiencing, we were told we would have to wait until it was convenient for the manager to come down from the party they were overseeing. I was told I could speak to housekeeping. I am skimming the events here, as I have already written the hotel once, and received no response. I expect little to come from this either. Long story, the relaxing, worry free night and luxurious morning we paid for, started with an hour of trying to wrangle reservations outside the hotel, worrying about weather we would have breakfast reservations. Bargaining for taxi fare because it was 30 degrees and I brought heels. Walking down seven flights of stairs. Going to the only restaurant available. Staying in a worn and dated room. Having to deal with a rude and callous staff whose priority was the bank party because they were paying the mortgage of your poorly managed, run down hotel. One bright spot, Chaz the concierge, a good guy who listened, and tried to diffuse the situation. However did little else to make the situation right, save for writing a lovely hand written note of apology. The bar maid in the Tap Room was terrible and complained about being short handed. We gave up on getting a second rink. Dirty breakfast dishes sat outside of our room until 7:00, when we finally complained. We have a picture of that and other room problems. So, really, there was little positive to say about the entire stay. We certainly won't return.

The Omni Hotel was awesome. The Wigle whiskey tasting room was great, with a lot of good selections. The room was nice and even though there was a wedding two floors above us we couldn't hear a thing.

For a four star hotel at this price point, you are NOT getting what you pay for. The hotel lobby, restaurants, and ballroom are beautiful and historic, but the timer are seriously dates and need to be renovated. The windows are old and dirty and let in all the noise from the street below (I was staying on the 15th floor and lots of nose still). The plumbing is old, water pressure was hit or miss depending on when you are taking a shower, you have to hold the toilet flush down for a full minute in order for it to work. The shower curtain and bedspread look like they haven't been changed in about 20 years. I mean seriously, this is supposed to be a luxury hotel? Do yourself a favor and stay at the Renaissance - for the same price point, it's much more modern and luxurious. Then go have afternoon tea at the Omni to enjoy their beautiful lobby/architecture.

Pub visit only: surprisingly good, didn't really expect it. Pricey as is expected for a hotel like this but not unreasonable. Staff was great, and the food was really good. Nice little beer and bourbon selection.

Nice hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Rooms were really nice bit on the small side. I had a queen and it was fine, but not a hug room. The restaurants and bars were really great. The. Place was swarming with Steelers fans, which made me feel right at home. I would love to stay here again.

The room was comfortable, but seemed excessively large given how tiny the bathroom and bath tub were. Some of the light bulbs were burnt out upon my arrival. Generally very comfortable and reasonably priced.

Old school luxury hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Love the lobby though. Great place for a quick meeting and there is a Starbucks. Also a decent spot for breakfast in the restaurant on the opposite side of the luxurious yet homey lobby.

My experience was returning after several years with fond memories of afternoon tea in the Palm Court. What a let down. Dreadful service, unfriendly, made themselves scarce. Food was stale. Brought sour cream for the scones?! Laughed when I pointed out the error. But it is still a beautiful lobby. Go for a glass of wine.

So the service was excellent as usual and the water pressure was outstanding but our room was a little shabby and a little bit dusty in the in the corners. Except for the bathroom, the bathroom was immaculate.

Wouldn t give one star, but something is required to post a review. No stars! Cannot recommend this hotel. The room was so small, 2 people could barely function. Not well cleaned or maintained, surface beauty only. Dust underneath everything, all feather pillows... disgusting. The drinking glasses were cloudy and dirty. And then a cockroach appeared in the bathroom! I sprayed it with hairspray and caught it by turning one of the glasses over it. Called downstairs - couldn t get through... at 6 AM. Finally did and housekeeping came up and removed it. If it had happened on our first day, I would have been out of there! We were checking out that same day. Service in the restaurants are slow and 2nd drinks hard to get or non-existent. Reported to Omni World HQ, the Hotel Manager, and to the City of Pittsburg.

We had our wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Smith and the rest of the staff were great. They provided us with the detailed information about the best sites to see. Smith also recommended restaurant around the area where we can have lunch while we are waiting for our room (we arrive around 9 am, check in time is 3pm). The room were very clean and nice, the breakfast is excellent every morning, We feel that we are a FAMILY, NOT a hotel guest. We will definitely return!! Our first bed and breakfast experience is awesome!!
