The Westin is a great hotel on the beach with great service and a sixty meter walk to The Wee Pub! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Beds are very uncomfortable and the food is a ripped off.
Beautiful new hotel! We spent a mini honeymoon here and they were more than accommodating. Beautiful property and wonderful staff. If we come back to Jekyll we will absolutely be staying here again!
Had a reservation for 2/18 for my wife a me. Showed up at 7:10 pm and they advised that my room was dirty and they did not know when it would be available. Manager was no help. Printed reservation guaranteed room at 4pm. I asked for my money refunded and they said it was past the refund date and that I would owe a penalty. Had to call customer service and get a corporate person on the phone to get my money back. There were several people in the lobby having the same problem. Couple next to us had been waiting for their room for 3 hours.
Cigar smokers at the outside tables inside great service with Jeff however limited menu was a joke for such a hotel. 2 apps on the menu??
One glass of wine and we are gone - to bad.
Great hotel! It even smelled amazing haha. Everything is very nice. Loved my stay there.the hotel restaurant is expensive as expected.
Beautiful hotel. Perfect for our occasion. Very central location to all of our activities during our stay.
Went during whiskey wine and wildlife, was beautiful in there, and had a very fun time during the event.
Micro fridge did not cool. Valet was missing in action. Can't say this was a pleasant experience for $250 a night.
I made reservations on February 6, 2019 for this property for a conference on May 7-9, 2019. I get an email on 5/3/2019 stating due to a merger they were unable to accommodate my visit and had made me a reservation at another property. This is very poor customer care, 4 days before my visit when they had my email, phone numbers etc. This is not a way to maintain customer satisfaction. I have stay several times at this property but will never attempt to reserve anything with them again. Due to this poor method of handling things, I would not count on reservations you have made with them and sadly I do not feel they are concerned at all. I am having to rate in order to post and I think one star under these circumstances is to high. I also left a message for the General Manager to call me and as of now it has been over a hour and half and no call. That in and of itself says a lot about their customer satisfaction concerns.
Quiet, classy, private....not a bunch of kids running around noisily....very peaceful and private. I WILL return. The beach is pristine. The view was breathtaking.
We were just here for a week while our kids attended Camp at St. Simons. The staff here was way behind on courtesy once we got past the very friendly vallet.
We were supposed to get a 3rd night free, as we paid for 9 nights, and when we mentioned it to the front desk, they said they would check into our billing, and never followed up. Twice!
The room service was awful, and when we ordered late evening, they didn't include any condiments. Silverware, etc. When we called down, we were told to request such items??
When I have a negative experience...I will give them an opportunity to fix it...but when they ignore that...I refuse to spend my days dwelling on the negative complaining. So...I'm sharing it here.
Not the typical Westin hospitality to say the least. For $300 a night...we could definitely do better.
Not bad! Had a good time and love the ocean. Good overall
Our stay here was very short, but also very sweet. We needed a place to escape for a while with our dog and thought why not try the beach. Upon arrival, this stood out as being one of the cleanest places we have ever been. Everyone from the lobby staff to the cleaning staff were just so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the beach was just as great! Two people that helped us were Jeff and Victoria. They were both extremely knowledgeable about the island and answered many of our questions with no issues at all. They truly do care about the customer and want everyone to enjoy their stay. We are definitely going to be back when we have more time. Thanks again!
We drove all around and through it. There are campgrounds, places to ride horseback. And a lookout point where you can see the ocean. They also have a little snack store.
I attended a conference here and it was great. The ballrooms were very nice and clean. The hotel staff was courteous and professional. Great place.
Some improvements and headcount increase needed to become truly full service.
Not worth the price, had less to offer than your typical hotels which are much cheaper. No microwave (unless you count the community microwave next to the ice maker), iHome doesn't work, A/C doesn't go below 67, no continental breakfast. And if there was, our waitress at The Reserve did not mention it whereas all of the adjacent tables were offered some kind of special where $12 was taken off each meal or you could get a continental breakfast comprising of yogurt and a bagel I believe. This put the over priced breakfast down to a normal price but we weren't offered that nor asked if we had whatever membership needed to get that offer. WILL NOT COME BACK. The only nice thing about the hotel is its location but my wife and I would be very willing to pay a lower price and walk an extra couple hundred feet from another hotel. And one cool thing was the airplane lights on the bed.
The rooms are very nicely done. The meeting rooms are in a perfect spot next to a cafe located in the hotel. The staff is very professional and able to answer questions about the area and shopping near by. The hotel is right on the beach. The pool is currently being remodeled during the cold season.
Great service and good rooms. I only wish each room had a microwave instead of a community microwave with the ice machine. That is my only real complaint. There is also a shuttle to take you anywhere on the island.
Ocean is in view and has easy access and hotel is spacious. Parking attendants and front desk friendly. Allows little dogs. Clean pool and hotel.
Beautiful hotel and island. You must like the quiet. Very quiet island.
Location is good, Jekyll Island is wonderful. However, IMO the JI Westin is operating below expectations for the brand. All food and beverage services in the facility are closed for a 14-day quarantine, beginning June 23. No pre-notification via app or phone call. Staff was ill-prepared upon check-in and were unprofessional with their communication regarding the situation. Adjustment to the daily rate is not in proportion to the degradation of services.
Great staff especially Trey at the desk and Cheresse in the dining room. Thanks for taking good care of us.
Great stay. The rooms are excellent and the service is even better!
Beautiful building, very friendly staff, great views.
Wonderful in all people were super nice the rooms were clean there was plenty to do!
So far everything is excellent wonderful in room breakfast beautiful view now in process of taking a lovely bike ride on trail very peaceful and Serene at least at this time of the year highly would recommend
Loved it. A lot of things to do. The sand dunes and beaches are beautiful.
They have fantastic service, super clean rooms, and great staff.
Very nice and clean rooms. Modern design, beautiful landscape and a great location on Jekyll. Would recommend.
Fantastic location on the Beach with plenty of biking/walking trails. Great quiet beach walks. Flavorful restaurant onsite with full selection of wines and fresh seafood or meats. Rooms could use updating as they appear worn. Verify that conferences aren't taking place at hotel as this will change your experience.
We chose this hotel over other hotels specifically beause it had electric vehicle charging. Yet, all of the charging stations in front of the hotel were taken with non EV cars. The charging stations behind the hotel next door were available but half did not work. When we brought this to the hotel s attention, the manager was accusatory and rude. Add this to the muddy beach and it s a solid no. (And I m usually a Marriott brand enthusiast.)
The staff are friendly and helpful. The wifi network provided is decent, and does not have different levels of access. It is free for all guests and one only needs to ask the front desk what the password is. The hotel is on the beach so guests have easy access to the beach. Inside of the hotel there are many places to hang out and relax. The rooms are clean and room service is always ready to help.
Great service, clean rooms and close to the village. I will definitely return.
We were texted at 2:18AM Sunday June 28, 2019 that our room was available. We arrived from Atlanta shortly before 5 only to be told like everyone else attempting to check in "room was not ready". Not only was the room not ready they could not tell you a time from of when it would be ready. We finally were given access to a room two hours later. Not acceptable; the taxpayers of Georgia paid for the room. The the bed was bad, air would not cool, and both me and my husband got food poisoning from the in-room breakfast.
Rude bartenders and rude staff, just disappoint across the board
The rooms are open and nicely organized. The staff are nice and courteous. So far I am pleased to be away from crowded surrounding. The food is not enough variety for my taste. But there are enough stores and restaurants in the areas.
Great service. Friendly staff. Super layout and location. Not luxury and good value.
Very nice and open, so you don't have to feel crowded during this crazy time. Would have given 5 stars but no room service today, even though we were gone most of the day and the carts were in the hallway.
Lovely grounds, good service and location for weddings/celebrations
Great family friendly oceanside hotel in a prime location. We've been twice and have enjoyed spending time at the beach as well as the hotel's beachside pool. Lunch at Salty's is good, especially with live entertainment. Recommend renting bikes and exploring all of Jekyll Island. Can't wait to return fir another extended stay.
I was only able to stay one night, but the hotel was beautiful, front desk was welcoming and friendly. View from the room looked out over the ocean. Plenty of places to enjoy a meal and friends in and around the hotel. Beds were comfortable.
Very enjoyable stay. Staff was terrified of my pitbull but no issues or complaints.
Not impressed. Check- in took 45 minutes (I was the only one in line).
Great accommodations customer service and expediency
Worst Westin Stay Ever! Piss Poor MANAGMENT!
First thing you notice is that parking is a significant problem. Cars are everywhere and space is hard to come by. The staff was not particularly friendly at all. Housekeeping is almost Nonexistent, the room we were given had wet sheets & Linen and smelled...We tried to order Breakfast via room service Total Fail...The pool is fairly small and architecturaly boring, however that was the best part of the trip. It seems for a place that charges you a resort fee there should be more free amenities that come with that fee and should be managed better. Like a chair on the beach but no you had to reserve those and pay $20 a piece for them. I will be going back to the area several times a year for business and will certainly choose a different place in the future.
Had a bad experience at another hotel on Jekyll, checked out and went to the Westin. Room was very clean and the bed was amazing! Good breakfast and stunning views of the sea. We will stay here again.
Very nice area the beaches were nice but water very muddy
Great location and a nice hotel overall. Good facilities and clean room. One complaint is that the pillows are terrible. Bed is comfortable, but literally the least comfortable pillows I've ever slept on. Know that there is a parking pass cost to get onto the island.
Clean, beds were very comfy, great view, great service, going back again!!!
I took my two chihuahuas with me. It is a dog friendly hotel. I stayed in an ocean view room. It s directly on the beach. It has 4 places to eat in the hotel. I ate breakfast and dinner at The Reserve. You can walk to shops and other restaurants. They rent bikes at the Westin but they only take cash. I went to Driftwood beach at sunrise to take pictures and it was magical.
Very nice hotel. The food from the restaurant was excellent. Jason was a very good waiter
Staff was awesome, very helpful and accommodating, great room and stay. Beautiful place to stay
Room was nice and had a great view but lacked a kitchenette and even a microwave. The on site restaurants were great though, and there's a lot within walking distance. A little overpriced in my opinion.
Stop by Salty's along the bike trail. Cool spot for a drink.
