Exceptional room! Beautiful view and the breakfast was great! Tried the things you wouldn't make at home. Very tasty!

Clean. Westin quality resort. Difficult to find restaurants open. The ones open crowded.
Best place to stay on the island! Upon arrival we were texted by the receptionist asking if everything was good in our room. She also checked in on day 2. Very clean and amazing views. Will stay here again!
Over priced hotel in my opinion, didn't have a microwave in the room so you had to use the only 1 on the floor. Had to pay for breakfast, lunch and dinner so bring your own food. Room did come with a fridge. But staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My boyfriend is in a wheelchair and the first room we were in wasn't handicap accessible so they put us in another room free of charge. Was a nice stay over all just the price was high.
Do not book here if you have dogs!! We were literally here 3 months ago, same couple, same dogs. Our first stay was amazing!! The staff were awesome to our two pups! We had no problem checking in and didn t experience any problems or extra chargers during our stay. This time around was completely different! After check in, we were literally chased through the lobby by one of the desk attendants before we entered the elevator. He shoved a piece of paper saying we had to fill out a form about our dogs and will be charged $75! After securing our bags in our room, we went back to the front desk to speak with the manager. We had no problem paying the fee, we just wanted to know about the policy and why we didn t have to pay a fee before. The manager was unavailable of course so we spoke to an employee at the front desk. He literally told us that we received special treatment last time! Of course we have not been able to speak with the manager about the policy. Online doesn t state there is a pet fee so I guess this policy is implemented upon their discretion. If you have pets BEWARE! You may or may not qualify for their special treatment .
Westin was not what we are used to. Our AC struggled to maintain a good temp which made it hard to sleep.
The property was nice, building was very clean and pretty as most Westin s are, but the service EVERYWHERE at this hotel was ugly.
Everything about this trip was snotty and rude.
Greater location and views of the beach. They need to do a better job of pest control. We are eaten up with bites from sitting on the balcony. Customer service isn't on the level of the price point.
Very nice hotel. Very clean. Large bathroom (craziest shower drain, but worked great.). Good air conditioning (a must in Georgia.) Breakfast isn't included. The restaurant has a breakfast buffet. Pretty pricey, but good, not amazing, just good. A great view while you eat. Walking distance to the shopping district on the island. Very close to the entrance of the island. Easy to get to, with lots of parking. Valet is available.
Nice, friendly staff. Nice room. Used shuttle services for transportation. Awesome experience. Only thing I can complain about is slick floor in shower! You really need to consider the needs of women and put a little stool or something in shower for shaving legs,!
Fits right in on the island. Food is great, service is great. Would visit again.
The hotel is beautiful.the pool is lovely..It smelled of barf by the elevators for two days until we pointed it out to a staff member.. Apparently, you must pick the correct package to get any food that isn't crazy expensive. They do have a small fridge and a DQ nearby that serves breakfast. We stocked up on food from the Walmart that was about 20 minutes away..They do have this weird go green thing that if you don't use housekeeping during your stay you can get 5 dollars off.We were able to use two and finally used it for a small breakfast that only cost another 6 dollars more..Sorry..but it already cost over 150.00 a night.I am not paying 6 dollars for a coke or a rockstar beverage.
Wonderful beach and shop areas. A great day and wonderful memories with my grandkids.
The rooms categories are deceptive. After paying 515 per room + other taxes and fees per night, we get an ocean view room that we had asked for away from the elevator, that we booked 11 months in advance; that is facing a parking lot for the total front and if you happen to peak on the side of the patio, there is a trash and recycle dumping for the whole hotel, before you can get some glimpse of the ocean amongst other things. WHAT A SHAME! I will post pictures shortly. Very desappointed. Kids howling around the hallways near elevator, outside my room at 5am and adults past midnight.
Right on the beach no complaints however there are Panthers so be careful
Most rude and self centered people on Earth! I'd stay at the Salvation Army, at least they WELCOME you! We skipped the stay, drove to Jacksonville and stayed at a Resort that seemed to actually be glad to have us!
The room was spacious and had a great ocean view from the interior facing balcony. They don't have vending machines, so be prepared for that. There is a mini-fridge in the room. The coffee shop serves Starbucks coffee.
Best Hotel on Jekyll Island, in my opinion. Great Service, Beautiful View, Clean and Large Room, Convenient Beach Access, Clean Lobby, Good Food. Also a very convenient shuttle service. Definitely Stay Here!
Clean, nice rooms close to the beach. Will be back!
Staff is extremely helpful.
Accommodation are very nice.
Food service is pleasant.
Price is a little over what this level of resort should charge but it's still worth while
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin. Madison the bartender was wonderful as was the beach chair guy.
Great staff, amazing location. Try to rent a bike and go around the island. Wonderful!
Beautiful hotel and location. Massages are a tad pricey.
Amazing Jekyll islands best hotel and best eats. Restaurant has an amazing ocean view friendly staff and great food
Really nice hotel, wonderful staff. Wish they had more parking and a 24 hour store. Really nice place on the island. Beats renting a house
Great quiet place to stay ! Even with the covid mess going on I felt safe and had a great time. A special shout out to Victoria at the front desk for helping in many ways she made my stay more enjoyable ! Looking forward to going back after the covid mess is over and everything is back to normal
Only tried the bar but the bar is comfortable and the drinks are good.
Lovely hotel but not much compliance going on regarding wearing masks in the public areas of the hotel. When I inquired about their policy I was told, "we can't make them wear masks." Well you can. I wouldn't feel safe staying there in the future.
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. I thought that it being a newer, slightly more expensive hotel would ensure it being a nice experience. I was disappointed that our room was not very clean - stains on the bed sheets, little dead gnats in our bed, mold on the shower head, water stains and dust where our towels were, and kinda just overall could use a deep cleaning. Kinda bummed about our experience.
$8 to park. Nice family oriented beach. Tourist type place but not crowded whatsoever (perhaps bc of covid) Has stores, hotels, bathrooms, umbrella posts (might be for the hotel residents..not entirely sure) rinse off station(s), Etc.. etc BRING SUNSCREEN! Not a good spot for collecting seashells.
It was wonderful and the food is good and the staff was very helpful and nice I love it ready to go back again
Lovely hotel. Fantastic view and amazing rooms. Staff is professional and helpful
Beautiful beach. The sand is so soft. Everything was so clean
Here now, Memorial Day Weekend. First, thought we were getting a balcony room since we had ocean view. We are only one of maybe 2 rooms that have ocean view that do not have a balcony. When I called front desk to ask about balcony, they had no rooms available. When checking in, they give you a 3 sheet paper with all of their Covid-19 stuff including the Cleanliness of the rooms. All rooms are deep-cleaned and sanitized prior to your arrival. We found several baby toys and some trash! One trash being an empty water bottle with something so disgusting in it, I don t even know what this brown stuff was in this bottle! Then the comforter on the bed has something brown smeared. At first thought, maybe rust from the dryer. Then, after thinking about the found baby toys, I smelled the comforter and it smells like poop in the spot and around the brown smear (Just to be clear-I smelled other places in the comforter that were fine and smelled clean) I m very disappointed that this is a Westin and for the price we paid to find things like that.
Great place to stay. Right on the beach. Good food and great service.
The room was very nice. It was clean but the a.c. did not work
Overall this is a decent hotel. You can tell it's one of the older Westins. We had double rooms and both bathrooms had an old bathroom smell to them (like nasty water). This was after we came in and cleaned. On the other hand, all staff were nice and provided good service.
We have stayed here annually since they opened. The views and location are amazing. The beach rooms are the best they have to offer.
Very nice accommodations, great service, and a beautiful location.
Wow. What an amazing hotel. Located right on the beach, it's a walking distance to all the local shops as well as the boardwalk. Customer service is excellent. Everyone I spoke to at the front desk was positive and helpful. This is a dog friendly hotel, so keep that in mind when you're staying. I did see some very sweet pooches.
There are some minor things that go a long way for a local guide like myself. The speed of the elevators is one of those things. There are two elevators but they move very quickly and efficiently. This is great when you need to run back up to your room quickly and run back down again.
You can find a Starbucks located in the corner of the hotel; take a left after you come through the front doors and you'll find it. There is a bar and the opposite end by the beach, and an expansive breakfast buffet in the morning for $20.
Jeckyll island is a state park, so know before you come here that there are not many commercial stores or things like that here. well there are people who do permanently live on the island, they don't own the land. It belongs to the state. If you find yourself getting a little stir crazy you can pop over St. Simon island (about a $25 min drive). The folks at the front desk also have a gentleman who they can put you in touch with to help you get to places that you need.
If you're an early bird, this hotel offers great views of the sunrise.
Definitely would recommend this hotel for others. A great spot to come for comfort and quiet.
Loved this place! Had a wonderful room overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable, beautiful view, great parking!
Seems like a very nice hotel, although we did not stay overnight, dinner was great.
Love the location of the hotel. The rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfast is not free though. Most rooms have USB charging stations right next to the glass desk, and a tv in the middle of the dresser. The beds have reading LED lights. The beds are comfortable as well. There is a pool and a lot of bar areas around this village and hotel.
Ate lunch at the Westin, food and service was great.
Nice clean hotel. Paid for the deluxe ocean front room and got a basic 2 queen room with an ocean view. Not really what I would consider a high end room, but a basic room with a view. For almost 300 a night in the off season i did expect a little more, but now I know. Next time I will just book the suite. . Beach access was nice and staff was friendly. Room was clean. Being pet friendly is a great feature. Bathroom was bigger than most I've been in. I really can't say anything bad about the hotel, I just expected a little more.
Upon arriving to hotel with fiancee it was very presentable and the walk on the beach was nice, the good was beyond tasteful
A great place to stay. We had an ocean front room and it was very nice.
A great location, next to the treasure of the protected seashore of Jekyll Island. Delicious seafood, in generous portions.
This hotel is horrible! Do not stay at this awful hotel. I've never experienced such terrible customer service before. We booked a king room for three nights and upon arrival, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and were given a room with two queen beds instead. When we were upset by the sudden change, we were treated like it was our fault for the inconvenience. The hotel manager, Jennifer Chambliss, was particularly rude and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Even though we had already been charged for the king room! We will never stay at this hotel again. If you value customer service, do not stay at this hotel.
Just checking it out for a future vacation possibility. Very nice, but a little pricey for the location.
I visited the beach behind the hotel. Its a very family friendly location and we enjoyed every minute we was there.
Is a great destination place! The hotel is full of amenities as well as the location is outstanding with it being next to shops and restaurants. Given a location on Jekyll island this is a great family getaway. also one thing to note is the hotel is dog friendly. They have a great rooftop bar for the evenings when the weather cools down and you're looking to enjoy the cool ocean breeze and relax.
Great location, right on the ocean. Located in a really fun little beach village with nice shops, etc.
Housekeeping did not clean our room. Had to beg for new towels so we could take showers the second day. When they finally brought us towels, they acted like it was a big bother to them.
Get better service at a Motel 6
I didn't stay at the hotel itself I visited a friend that was staying there and everything seemed to be on point and nice.
Very nice, wonderful, would of loved staying longer
We had a great time! From the time we checked in to when we checked out it was amazing! We were greeted with a smile!! The staff went above and beyond ecpected!! Music on the lawn was the icing on the cake!
The Westin was a great hotel with clean rooms, friendly service, and great beach acess
While it has the Westin look it does not feel like a Westin.
The Valets were aloof no matter who was working. Never once did they attempt to open a door or offer to assist with luggage. Vehicles keys are left unattended, which was unnerving. We asked for one of the two vehicles by make and color that we checked for our room. Despite this, they brought the wrong one then told us we would have to wait while they helped an elderly couple load shopping bags into their vehicle.
The front desk was great except that we had requested a pack and play but were not informed they had none until after we got to the room. We were then told that they started with ten when they opened but they now only have two broken ones. We then asked for a rollaway and were told they would have to check. The room attendant was most helpful and very apologetic, she stated that she would work to ensure we were not charged for the rollaway.
The pool staff and Starbucks staff were also pleasant and helpful but nothing amazing.
The worst part was the amount of hair in the shower, in the towels, and on the duvet. I dried my face only to then find two long pieces of someone else s hair stuck to my beard and stubble. The pillowcases would also benefit from a round of bleach as they are more dingy than white.
Nice place to visit. Lots of inexpensive activities for the family.
We loved every minute at this amazing beach side resort. Must visit here more often!
Great stay again great restaurants all the staff was great
What an impressive hotel! The Westin offers spacious rooms at every turn.Upon entering the lobby guests are treated to a main area that is both comfortable and visually appealing. Crisp and clean the Westin is imbued with an atmosphere of ease and elegance. Westin employees are friendly and quietly curteous, making sure visitors needs are attended to promptly.
Very good service, room was perfect. Only issue was that the breakfast service was only decent, with sub-par food for a Westin.
Nice people, clean, and right on the beach! Not to mention great food...
