Love this place!!!! Clean, Excellent service, beautiful rooms and suites with a view. Will be back again in the next few months. This is always my first choice when going to Jekyll Island. I only look other places if they are booked up.

Housekeeping leaves alot to be desired. I checked in and had a dirty comforter. I checked in 10/13/19 and checked out 10/16/19. I complained to the front desk and was told it would be taken care of in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later I told them again and they apologized and said it would be taken care of immediately. I gave up after 3 hours. The microwave was in the Ice Machine room and was absolutely discusting, was never cleaned the whole time I was there, nor was the floor. The staff at the front desk was less than friendly. The only bright spot was they did have two employees who seemed to care, were friendly and tried to be helpful. The two are Chad and Jessica at the front desk. Would recommend staying at another hotel on the island.

Would have given 5 stars, but I felt like I paid a little to much, compared to what I got, no beach view and no perks like free breakfast, I can stay at a 60 dollar hotel and still get a continental, the building itself is nice enough though

Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived at 3 cause of a busy weekend. They immediately upgraded us to one of their nicest rooms. It ends up being the nicest room we have ever stayed at.

The customer service, cleanliness, & luxury is great! Great value. It's expensive but not over the top. It's worth it.

I am a platinum for life Marriott Member and was completely disappointed with the Westin Jekyll. The rooms felt like a Hampton Inn. The sheets and beds were not up to standard. During Covid they are only doing room cleaning every 6 days - we stayed for 5, by the end our room was a mess - we asked twice to try get them to at least make beds and take out trash and they would not do it. I highly recommend an Airbnb or another place, it was not comfortable and definitely did not feel well taken care of. Extremely hypocritical that half the guests are walking around with no masks - but they are not cleaning rooms, seems like an excuse to save money.

Westin Cafe sucks. The food was burned and they only had one person working. Poor girl was everywhere. The hotel itself is nice. Very clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Had issues booking and will likely not come back nor recommend to family and friends.

It was very nice. The location is the only down star. Why they would put a resort here is beyond strange. The resort itself is very nice. Lovely rooms with lots is space. Great service. Great food and a very charming area. I really did enjoy my stay. The only horrible thing is the beach. Very muddy unless one walks to the sandbar which is nice, but not near the area where they rent out the beach umbrellas and chairs. The water is actually pretty gross. Lots of organic matter in it, very muddy bottoms like I said. Cool thing for the little ones, tiny clams where the water breaks. When you grab a handful of the loose sand you can feel them tunnel down to your fingers. Very cool.

We had a wedding to attend so we were always occupied, but when we had down time it was fun to relax by the pool, explore the shops in the village or enjoy the beach and the waters. We had a great time while we were there.

Meh. Jekyll Island is actually kinda boring and you have to drive through a bottleneck toll booth and bridge to get anywhere. The housekeeping wasn't up to the standard you'd expect in such a hotel (didn't change the shampoo from previous guest, old coffee thing still in the coffee maker, they don't clean the balcony so the furniture is unusable with bird droppings, if you aren't ready to have your room cleaned at 9a it won't get cleaned at all). I mean the beach is beautiful, but this is more a place for senior citizens...

We love Westin hotels and are generally fans of Starwood properties. This hotel is oceanfront, new, clean & bright, with plenty of parking, and easy walking access to the Beachview shops and the small convention center. Very pleasant staff and helpful concierge.

Modern clean rooms, though we thought ours was on the small side, and we were definitely disappointed in the lack of a balcony even though we had a partial ocean view. MOST rooms did have balconies, and on a fabulous fall day, we gazed with envy at those sitting on their balconies, enjoying the ocean breeze.

The biggest flaw in our visit was that the hotel was overrun by a large group of young people there for some sort of technical conference. Although generally well behaved, they traveled in groups, playing soccer on the lawns, etc. While not at their meetings, they spent a lot of time in the hallways, travelling back & forth to the ice machine, which was next to our room, unfortunately.

When I checked out the swimming pool late in the afternoon, it was jammed with loud teenagers, and adults had abandoned the pool and the lounge chairs. We don't have kids, and this was to be a quiet weekend getaway. Although not what we anticipated, we were not much inconvenienced due to good soundproofing and early bedtime for the troops.

Due to the proximity of the convention center, you might inquire if there are any groups scheduled in the hotel when you plan to visit!

Brilliantly situated with a small village of shops. Beautiful common spaces inside and out. Not all the rooms are so brilliant, however and this stay gets three stars because the room had a view of a roof and literally nothing else. Very disappointing.

Clean, not a young hang out, generally older couples just relaxing on our pace, the food in the restaurant was truly delicious. Comfortable rooms with great views of the ocean. We will definitely come back.

I came with my mom and sister. Because of my job and what I did at one point, I'm used to staying in hotels for extended amounts of time. This was only an overnight stay but let me tell you....if the hotels I stayed in for extended lengths of time were this nice and this friendly, I would have kept traveling! We didn't have a balcony, which was fine, but we could still see the ocean. It has been some years since we have been to the beach. With my mom being disabled, it's hard for her to get around but not here!! I love the fact that they have a handicap accessible ramp for the beach. If she wanted to, she could get to it. I kind of wish I would have took some pto and came a day or two early ahead of my sis's work event. I will def be back to jekyll island (it was our first time here) and when I do, I will be staying here!!!

The bar and restaurant staff at the Reserve Restaurant were outstanding, but that's where our positive experience ended. Our room was not ready at 4pm check-in, and Staff was uninformed about status of other aspects of our reservation. Overall the hotel staff lacked a sense of polish and service that I have come to expect from a Marriott property. The service at Salty's was also sub-par. It's a beautiful location, but I would not recommend them in the future. The Reserve Restaurant staff were the best part.

It was our honeymoon, called and informed them, check in mention it's our honeymoon and they don't even acknowledge it. No special gift or acknowledgement in the room. Had a much better experience at the hotel we stayed at for the first part of our honeymoon. First room the A/C didn't work, advised front desk, said it was fixed, it wasn't. Moved rooms, they made no offer to help move bags. Overheard another guest say their room wasn't even cleaned. I will definitely stay elsewhere next time.

Great place to stay on an equally great island. Great pool and beach front access. Beautiful views and the property is very well maintained.

They had live music each afternoon at the pool. Friendly staff

This hotel is great. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially the van drivers. One minor issue is the shelf under the bathroom sink is very dirty. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Westin Is Always My Hotel Of Choice, However This Was The Best Stay Yet. I have Stayed At Several Starwood Properties With My Husband Over The Years & I Have To Say That This Was The Best Property Yet. The Customer Service Was Amazing & Of Course The Room Was A 5 Star Room Hands Down. As Always The Food Was Awesome. We Asked For Early Check In & Was Taken Care Of Without Fail. We Will Be Returning To This Property In The Very Near Future. I Highly Recommend This Property To Anyone Visiting The Area It Was Definitely Worth It.

I stayed here with my school for the TSA Fall Leadership Conference, and was very happy. Pretty good price for our school, the rooms were very nice and so was the staff. One staff member, Trey, even went above and beyond accommodating me when I discovered I forgot my wallet and cash at home. My only complaint would be that the pool closes at dusk, which I find ridiculous because it gets dark before dinner this time of year (mid-November), but otherwise no better place to stay on the island.

Absolutely stunning hotel. One of the best on the Island. Rooms were emasculate and very big. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Loved them. Had an ocean front room and it was beautiful. The views were amazing. We will be back......soon

We escaped the chaos at home and had a wonderful week at the Westin. All staff we met were incredibly friendly and accommodating. That includes the concierges, the folks as Salty s poolside bar, the housekeeping staff everyone. Bryan at Harry s bar in particular was fantastic. We dined at a few restaurants on the island, but the best food was right here at The Reserve. This exemplary service came from staff who also took all possible precautions to protect guests from COVID. Hands down, one of the best hotel experiences we ve had.

Everything was excellent - top notch service. My wife and I spent the week there prior to them hosting a destination wedding for my daughter this past weekend. Robin who coordinated every little detail internally and pointed us to outside local vendors who were fantastic. She went over and above. .

Check in was quick and painless. we were early and we're texted when the room was ready. Parking was hard to find, and there was a hike to bring all of our bags inside. The room was clean, but needed some maintenance done (back sliding door frame was mangled, the air-conditioning sounded like a NASA liftoff when it clicked on, and was loud the whole time it ran, the bath had mold around the hand rails). All of these things were minor in the scope of our trip. However what ruined it was the large groups having weddings. (I know this makes me sound like a horrible person, but let me explain). We went down to the lobby, and it is full of wedding guests waiting to have their walk down the aisle in the courtyard. There were hotel employees directing people away from the lobby, courtyard, and eating areas. We figured that we would just go walk the beach and come back later to enjoy the facilities, but as we walked down the boardwalk we were stopped again due to another wedding that was happening on the beach. We waited while some pictures were taken, and then tried to walk around, but the chairs were set up at the end of the boardwalk. We had to walk through a wedding to even walk the beach, while getting rude looks from the guests. Later that night there were drunken yelling matches in the hallway, after the guests left the open bar at 2am. We felt like the high price we pay for a stay like this we would be made to feel welcome and to be able to use the facilities we paid for. We even tried to order room service - we called from the room and got the desk who forwarded the call to room service and got a voicemail box. We hung up and tried 2 more times. The front desk attendant told me "they are probably busy with the other guests, and you will need to come down and get it even if they do have time for your order". With the restaurant closed, the Starbucks closed, the courtyard closed, the beach entrance closed, and the lobby closed, and unable to order room service - I wish I had stayed somewhere else.
The island was amazing, the Westin was not.

So I work for a store on Jekyll that partners with this Westin, I thought it was nice then. But recently I had a chance to stay there finally, and it ended up being even better than I had imagined. The room was exceptionally clean, beautiful and clean bathrooms, and the staff proved to be just as great working with them from a guest aspect and not just a business aspect.

The hotel is totally fine, the organisation of w3 was a little difficult to take. The rooms are nice and clean, there are some irritants though. The screen door is not operable without lots of muscle. The toilet paper is mounted right at the knee, one has to turn sideways to unroll some. Water pressure poor.

Love the Westin. The hotel staff has always taken care of our every need. The breakfast buffet is great and their omelets are amazing. Beach/Pool towels are provided free. The hotel Wifi is pretty fast too. Had a great time!

Service was great and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. It just seemed a bit dreary around the hotel while we attended. One big let down is that there is no hot tub or sauna.
