The Waldorf Hilton is an elegant property. Built in the early 1900's the building has beautiful crown molding and marble throughout. There is an indoor pool and large workout area.

The food is quite good. Breakfast is abundant with a great number of items on the buffet as well as a la carte options. The executive lounge is comfy and the staff there very helpful.

In all of my interactions with the staff and management I was pleasantly surprised at how warm, courteous, and professional they were. They really make you feel welcome and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I look forward to coming here again.

Considering the class of this hotel, it is not that great. The rooms are comfy for sure. But our "flat screen" TV was quite old and the screen scratched. The breakfast was good but did not keep the quality id did a few years ago when I stayed here. The level of service was actually quite poor. Take your money elsewhere.

Very nice location. Amazing building and an incredible place to stay.

Was not able to use the facilities to their max, but had a lovely stay in a small suite. Which was rather over the top with two TVs. Lovely place to spread out, lots of space, even being in the loft. Only down side is could not see much or the window.

Staff did not stand out as being overly helpful or friendly. Thus loss of star.

I would give three and a half stars for the hotel itself, and to rank the super friendly staff only, I would give them a 4,5 (half a star less because they are a tick too slowly...)!

Why did I leave a 3 then?
It was just missing so many basic things in the room itself and we got a junior suite!

Plus, we found dust in the bathroom.

When I review, I'm usually very pleased with what I review, but when staying in The Waldorf Hilton London, I never really enjoyed myself at all. We were a family of 5 and they just wouldn't let us stay in the same room. They offered us rooms on the same level but they were at different ends of the corridor! In the room, there were two beds. One that looked like it could fit 3 people easily and the other fitting 2 but 'we had to be in different rooms' . Food was ok and so was the pool but overall. 1.5 of 5

My son's fold out bed had the springs coming through. The service throughout the hotel was not what I'd expect from such an establishment and the executive lounge had been oversold. Oh and the breakfast was cold as well!

Very disappointed. Was a birthday celebration for a friend. Had to ask for more tea. Not once did any one come to our table to ask if everything was ok. Asked for a few more sandwiches and was told she would have to check with the manager. I have been for many afternoon teas The Ritz, The Savoy . At other teas always the tea was refilled and offered more sandwiches. A service charge was added to the bill. Was not happy in paying this. Was kept waiting ages to pay the bill, and ages on waiting for our change from the bill. Very disapointed would nit recommend.

Service was good, but a little slow. We also had to remind them of our dietary that we had phoned ahead. But both were minor things, the staff were very polite and friendly and couldn't do enough for you and the tea and sandwiches were great.

I went for afternoon tea here with my friend and her Mum for her hen afternoon. After being seated we were told that a complimentary glass of champagne was in the afternoon tea we had booked. We were given the champagne and ordered our tea. 30 minutes later our sandwiches or cakes hadn't arrived so we had to ask. They finally came and one side of the bread on each piece was very hard, so they are definately not made to order. We then asked for some more and with this, the waiter tried to slide the plate on top of the old one where there was still a remaining sandwich without taking the plate off the stand first?! We then had to wave down another staff member as our tea was cold and there was no sign of anyone offering to bring more. The people on the next table also had to ask for their food after being seated 20 minutes also?? We then after finally getting more tea, asked for the bill and the champagne was added as extra and a 20 pounds service charge? We then had to speak to 2 staff members to explain the first waiter who turned out to be the food and beverage manager had given it to us saying it was in with the package. We had to wait again whilst he sorted it out. The room was not busy at all, and this is not the service I would expect from a 4 star hotel. The Savoy being 5 star outshines this experience 100 times over. My friends hen afternoon was not what we expected at all with very few other guests, there was no excuse at all. Not worth 40 pounds each more like 5. This is not acceptable as this will be my friends memory of her hen afternoon. Very very poor.

We had an afternoon tea at the restaurant and it was average. The sandwiches were lacking in filling, and creativity. The scones and clotted cream were quite nice, although we had to ask for a second serving of clotted cream, which they were happy to supply. The tea was just loose leaf Twinings, nice selection though. All in all, overpriced for what we got.

Apart from a few gripes (having to wait a few minutes before anyone noticed we were waiting to be seated at the restaurant and expecting the toilets to be cleaner than what they were 3star clean not 5star ) our visit was excellent the staff in the homage restaurant attended to our needs and we're exceptionally friendly, the food was delicious. They even suprised my partner with some birthday cake, would I return to the waldorf after my experience, without a doubt.

My Girlfriend and I visited for dinner, which was 3 courses and a glass of champagne. The service was excellent, the waiters and waitresses were quite good at giving you space but being nearby if needed. The food was beautiful, excellently cooked and very attractively presented. After dinner we headed to the Bar and had a couple of cocktails which again were very good. We had a fabulous time and would definitely go again.

Location of the hotel was perfect. Our room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. Bed was without a doubt one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Service was more than satisfying and polite. We had a great champagne afternoon tea, with lovely scones and cakes. I am a traditionalist and quite appreciated the building. The whole stay was a memorable experience and we would definately go back.

If anyone is looking for good deals for hotel rooms visit . reserved a hotel on there and these guys had the best rates any where!

I visited this hotel when the company I work for (Julia Charles Event Management) installed their Christmas decorations. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a brilliant location. The staff couldn't be more helpful and their customer service was exceptional.

The Waldorf is my go-to hotel whenever I stay in London. If I have had a long day in London I always go to Good Godfrey's bar to put my feet up. The service is outstanding and one of my favourite things to do.

In this time of Covid to be honest I'm always nervous about hotel stays, however this hotel has everything in place for the safety of its guests. (Clean Stay. full information on the Hilton site) This excellent hotel is located at the More

For the price of the room this was bang average. Clean and tidy but rooms are very dated and old fashioned. Bed not particularly comfortable. Bar area was very good and staff were attentive and friendly but overall not worth the money.. Stayed in better hotels in London.

Had the classic afternoon tea, I was really surprised by how filling it was. Couldn t eat a thing for a few hours later. There was a guy playing the harp by my table which created a nice atmosphere.

The only negative was everyone else got there sandwiches and cakes before me although I got there first but maybe thats just me being extra.

Went to the hotel for afternoon tea. We waited to be seated at the restaurant whilst numerous members of staff completely ignore us and walk straight passed!! Not even an acknowledgement!! We were eventually seated and were asked what tea we would like. 55 minutes later our tea turned up!!! We had eaten our food and drank the water provided!! I asked the waiter 4 times can we have our tea and each time was told sorry it s on it s way!!! The reason I was told for the delay eventually was because they had ran out of tea pots!!! The table next to us who sat down at the same time also had no tea and waited even longer!! They were told the reason was because there was a new member of staff!! I spoke to the manager after waiting a further 15 minutes for her to arrive and she asked if she could have my email address and phone number and would be in touch. 3 weeks later and no contact has been made!! This was part of my birthday celebration and I have been left disgusted with the whole experience but mainly the customer service!!!! The staff were clumsy, one waitress dropped a tray of glasses and then dropped a bottle of wine whilst pouring it into a ladies lap!! The girl who served us our drinks in the bar before we went for afternoon tea stank of stale body odour to the point I walked away from her!!
SHAMBLES AT BEST IM AFFRAID!!

The hotel common areas leading to my room are looking shabby and run down, the bed was spacious and comfortable, housekeeping didn't put a new shampoo in the bath / shower and I couldn't get any hot water from the overhead shower, had to use the hand shower, my sister who stayed in a different room had no problem. Over all, location is amazing but the hotel is just ok.

This is not a hotel. It s a home away from home, the way hotels once were - warm, welcoming and personal. We spent 6 nights here during the holidays and had a great time. Staff is amazing - every time we came in we were greeted personally and asked how was our day. When we left each morning always offering to guide and help. The room was great and the executive lounge our base camp for launching into a day of touring London. The hotel is very central - Covent Gardens, Seven Dials, London Eye, National Museum all a few walking minutes away. Highly recommended!
