The location of the hotel is excellent. The executive lounge opens at 6 am to 11 pm which is very convenient and is good for visitors. The service in the lounge is very good too. Good choice to stay and walkable in 5 mins to Covent Garden and the Waterloo Bridge. If you are muscial play fans, good news. The theatres are next doors only. The junior suite space is big enough. I stayed with my wife and daughter. We both think it is good experience. Definitely good choice for my next visit to London. I would highly recommend it. Good hotel. We like it. Good for value. Also the convenient store Tesco is just two streets away, so very convenient for visitors to buy toothpaste, fruit etc. We like London and also this hotel too.

Honestly I expected much more from here. We arrived after the specified time for arrivals and the rooms still weren't ready. When I got my room it was clean but the TV was broken the pillows were flat and the room was faded. I know they are having massive renovation work done to the building which was fine but for what it is you expect the best and it was very lacking. No clear directions on where the restaurant was given so a few were jumping the queue and coming in through the back door and the breakfast itself was on par from a 3* hotel.

We dared to come in here even though you really didn't feel dressed for the visit. We were so well received and appreciated that we felt instantly comfortable. We ordered afternoon tea. Up fit with sandwiches and cakes that made the visit here a memory for life. And of course you were offered to bring the goodies that remained in a doggy bag. Highly recommended a visit here.

The location is good and the facilities are clean overall, considering the distance from the tourist attractions in London. The kindness of the staff is generally hotel-level. The food in the lounge is very plain and the breakfast is also at the level of other British hotels.

The Hilton chain have the same issue most successful businesses have which is keeping their extremely high standard. Taking into account the fact that this was the most expensive Hilton we've stayed in it was far from the best experience More

Stayed here for the weekend with my wife where we took in a few shows, the hotel is great, the rooms were clean and well equipt. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful, couldn't fault the visit one bit.

Went for gin tasting and cream tea. Our host was very informative and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the event. It was around 2 hours long and in a great space with a pianist playing in the background. Great gift!

Had afternoon tea...very poor. To much sweets not enough savoys items. Finger sandwiches were awful. Could tell the sandwiches had been made earlier had be left uncovered for so the outer part of the bread was hard. The sweet choice was poor too.
Very disappointed with what we were served up.
The staff were polite and there..
I have had many afternoon teas in and around London over several years and I am sorry to say the Waldorf is the worsed I have experieced.

Very nice place for the bar for drinks and food. Staff were fantastic. But the high tea was disappointing. Have been to a few in Asia and Australia and I can honestly say it was the saddest one I have been too. The staff were fantastic but the Decor EG chairs were worn and the sandwiches were served up sad and stale. So for 49 Pounds it's a bit of a rip off

The restaurant is lovely, mainly due to the ambience and decor which is a bit of mix with relaxing low volume music in the background. The staffs seems busy and attentive, now for the food, Fantastic.

The Waldorf Hotel, now known as The Waldorf Hilton, London, is a hotel in the Aldwych, London. It has a history dating back to 1908. It was founded by William Waldorf Astor, 1st Viscount Astor, part of the Astor family.

Great service and location.

Great service and location.
One downside to my stay:
I found the heating quite noisy and couldn't turn it off

Good hotel in a great location. Service can be hit or miss with staff trying to make their lives easier rather than find the right solution for the customer. Cost cutting has gone too far and is now very noticeable with even the juice at breakfast tasting watered down some days.

Probably my favourite hotel to stay in when in London, for a few reasons: It s not too big, so it never is noisy or busy, I never encountered any lines at check-in or check-out or breakfast. The staff are attentive and courteous, while the rooms are super cosy, with big comfy beds and huge bathrooms. There s a really decent gym downstairs that hotel guests get free access to, which was a huge plus for me. I should also mention that the breakfast hall is beautiful too sets you up for the day ahead :) Finally, the location could not be better, with all of Soho and Covent Garden restaurants a stone throw away.

Wonderful stay at the Waldorf. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, well furnished with a super comfy bed. Breakfast was superb, can't fault the hotel. Perfect location for the sights and theatres with lots of excellent restaurants
in walking distance. Covent garden just around the corner! Look forward to visiting again.

Lovely hotel with efficient and attentive staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Public areas were spotless and tidy. Breakfast was self service with a good choice of hot and cold options. Afternoon tea was served on Waldorf monogrammed china will a selection of sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, individual trifles, macaroons and a variety of small cakes. We had to have a doggy bag to take home some of the cakes.

Brought my mum to the bar here for her birthday. We were trying to go somewhere else but needed a quick escape from the rain. Had a wonderful time and did not regret that we didn t get to the other place. Great service, lovely atmosphere, tasty cocktails and a cozy respite from the sudden downpour.

During our visit to London, the world seemed to be going down. Heavy thunderstorms over the city and rain as if constantly bucket were poured out and that at 28 degrees. Totally wet we found shelter here. Really elegant and a staff Dormann did not mind at all that we did not live there.

Quite an old hotel. The rooms were nice but not great. The floors in the room or very very squeaky. For the price I think there are better hotels in the area. The staff was incredible and very helpful. unless you get the breakfast buffet with your room it is not worth the 25 pounds a person. In visiting London it is in a perfect spot location for visiting all the great things to see in London.
