20th Century Theatre/Habits Review

A lot of fun!
DJ did an awesome job and the sound/lighting system ROCKS!
The staff was very accommodating.
Building is a bit older which on one hand adds a cool touch of nostalgia, however, building could use a few (minimal) cosmetic updates and/or repairs.
Overall, I'd recommend considering this venue for your wedding reception or party as the overall experience was pleasant and a very good experience.

The food was good. The DJ was fun. The room was a little dark and the carpet needed a shampoo.

Went for a wedding reception. Popular spot over the generations. Quirky. Wedding party was seated on stage, which was a cool feature. Very tall ceilings. Intimate space.

Food was okay- you have to use venue catering. Parking is tough to find. No parking lot.

Really cool facility. Lots of personality. I was there for an event. The staff were really easy to work with when we did all our planning. We plan on using them again next year.

This location has served the community SO well, from Peanut Butter Theatre, to a show wedding venue, to a concert hall. Beautiful and historic! Just love this place!

Such an adorable wedding venue!! If I didn't love so far away and wasn't already married, I would use this for my reception!!!

Went here for a KFlay concert. Loud enough for earplugs. Would def prefer this venue over bogarts. Parking can be tricky but it's bike/walk friendly area.

Aug 24th 2012, we had our wedding at 20th Century (per recommendation from a friend) we were treated so well, all our guests had rave reviews about the food, venue, and people working there. Having out of town guests be able to Valet park for the wedding was really helpful as there is limited parking in Hyde park. The people at 20th really do care about you, and the whole night was just a blast of fun! I had all my questions answered whether email or phone, and a refund issued for a special bottle of booze that we didn't end up drinking for the toast, with no problems.

It is a really cool place to have a wedding and reception.

Great theater to go to. Amazing venue with great service and atmosphere. It was like I was at a super fancy restaurant without having to dress up for it. Amazing and beautiful place.

My husband and I had our wedding here and we loved our experience so much. Not only was the venue gorgeous, but the staff was fantastic as well. We 100%recommend using this location!

Nice, small venue with great bartender service. Drinks were reasonably priced too, especially compared to all the other bars and venues in Cincinnati. Pending on the concert lineup, I will be back!

This place definitely takes you back a few generations with the Marquee sign and "old school" design. I was here for the Triumph Unveil party. I'd love to know more about the history of the establishment.

It's an interesting old building and a great event space. Came here to see a showing of "The Man Who Ate New Orleans". Parking is available just off Oakley Square on the side streets. Also, it's right across the street from Dewey's. Dewey's and an independent film showing at the Century Theater makes for a great date night.

I cannot recommend this venue enough. They were very easy to work with and did a phenomenal job on our wedding. The food was excellent, the venue looked amazing, and the DJ, Mark, was awesome!

On 10/08/2016, my wife and I had our wedding reception at this incredible venue. It's not too difficult too find a beautiful venue in the Cincinnati area. What is hard to find, is such a loving and caring staff that accommodates you through the entirety of the proces. Everyone at this establishment is so passionate and precise about making your special day, as amazing as possible. This place literally had the entire package! And so many different options to choose from, we couldn't have chosen a more perfect place. We got a photographer, our food, a DJ (Mark) with a superb stage presence, photo booth, beautiful event hall, and the list goes on. All for a practical budget! Mark (the owner) guided us every step of the way and made us a priority. This venue has it going on. If you are looking for a venue for a day that you want to be unforgettable, I highly recommend The 20th Century Theatre. I can assure you, that you will not be disappointed. Thank you guys for making our day so special. We love you all!

Our son and his beautiful wife were married on July 30th and had their reception at the 20th Century Resturant. I can not say enough about the venue. The food was excellent, (had Mac & Cheese for the little ones running around), the bar staff knew how to make drinks and we're not afraid to pour a good shot, people were impressed with the starlight decorating effects, and the acoustics were very good in that music didn't echo but you could carry on a conversation. Did I say the food was excellent? If you a planning a wedding reception, check them out. They actually schedule food tasting to help you make up your mind! Bon Appetite!

The staff is awesome and its a great venue for almost any event plans you have

Loved the foyer and main room was nice. Loved the classic feel of the place, until I tried to used the restrooms during intermission. Not enough room to get passed bar and bathrooms too small; definitely needs renovation there.

In attendance of a show that cannot be talked about, atmosphere was enticing and nostalgic while also being decorated like something directly out of a Skulls movie. Definitely looming forward to the Bi Monthly "shows that shall not be discussed."

Spent new year's eve here. It is a beautiful venue. The employees are nice and helpful.

Terrible venue for a concert. The place got crazy hot, the acoustics aren't made for music, I could barely understand the words of the artist. Very disappointed.

Very cute venue, a little small for a concert but ok. Major downfall is the lack of parking, like.. woooow good luck

The venue is small and nice. However during the concert a group of 4-5 guys were pushing each other into other crowd members like a mosh pit. This was not a mosh pit type band and they were just knocking other people in the crowd over and trying to start fights. There was no security nearby and no one did anything so I watched the people around them move to the back or just leave. Very distracting and disappointing.

Brandon C. Gromada Foundation Annual Fundraiser is held here and it is a great venue for such an activity

This was a birthday party. Food, bar and DJ were great! The restrooms are in much need of an upgrade.

Place is a little beat up, but great venue for a comedy show. Lots of resteraunts around. Parking was limited, but found a spot around the corner.

Converted movie house from decades gone by that has for quite some time become a small music/performance venue in Oakley. Tables/chair seating down and theater seating in the balcony. Parking can be a challenge. Likely not as resplendent as it was in it's heyday but at least it is still in use.

Staff was a little chatty with each other at the bar, need a little refresher that customer first, otherwise prefect!

The Masons held a Monte Carlo fundraiser there to try to fund one whole airplane for an Honor Flight. Jump 'n' Jive Big Band played the music for dancing. Dance floor is the lower level. This place is wonderful for gatherings, receptions, movies. A real gem for Oakley.

Cozy and intimate. Great venue for your favorite band. Sounds is really well distributed in the theater and in a great area of Cincinnati

It's a lovely venue for weddings, and the MC does a great job.

Smaller venue with great shows. I have seen many great acts on stage here. Plus, they do weddings and what not too.

Love this venue! Excellent place to see a show! Been here a hand full of times and it's become a go to place for me! Much smaller but superior to Taft theater! Seriously!

Great venue, spent an evening here for the Talbert House holiday ball. Staff was very friendly as well. Would definitely consider holding another event here in the future.

Old movie theater that has been remodeled. Has chairs not regular movie seats. Parking is limited.

Old movie theatre renovated to accommodate a party. Great for sports parties or company events. Great audio visual capability and decent bar. No super fancy, but very capable. Parking is a bit tough since it's on a busy main street.

Great venue for live music. Coming up is a Chicago tribute on the 23rd of Feb.. I hope the bartenders can keep up. Going to be a big show.

20th Century Theater is an amazing wedding venue! Lindsey was incredibly easy to work with, very professional, quick to respond and has a lot of experience. The DJ Mark was fantastic as well; our music, lighting and photobooth were all done perfectly! All around we had an awesome wedding experience and would HIGHLY recommend this venue to everyone!

Great theater. We took our girls there to a concert everyone including security was very helpful.

Good venue for concerts. Need more bartenders to keep up, lines too long. They didn't have cranberry juice and ran out of Titos vodka. Not as prepared as they should've been for the age of crowd attracted by Aja 1/27/18.

Housed the best and most personal concert I've ever been to. The band was Missio.

We had our wedding reception at the 20th yesterday and it was a blast!!! The venue is so beautiful and unique. All our guests seemed to really love it. The staff is amazing and you must take advantage of the option to use their photographer/photobooth/DJ. It was so nice at the beginning of planning to have these things quickly checked off my list! Big thanks to Lindsey, Kristina, Will and Mark. Kristina with photography is so sweet and with you all day. Mark, the DJ, coordinates the entire night and is so awesome!!! Our guests loved the music and the dance floor was full always! He made the night flow exactly how we wanted it!! Lindsey helps you a lot along the way to plan the big day leading up and Will's team makes you a delicious dinner the night of!

I could keep going on forever and ever about how amazing yesterday went for us at the 20th Century! If you are looking for a fun, unique, easy-going, awesome, and beautiful venue.... Look no further!!

Good venue with great sound and decent beer selection. They also have a great liquor selection. Parking can be an issue, but nothing that can't be solved with a short walk.
