There was a mouse in my room, then the clock was set wrong making me an hour late for a meeting, then they moved me into another room and it smelled of sewage. Seriously, terrible.

Went and had champagne afternoon tea which was a gift for our silver wedding anniversary- a very pleasant time

We had our Christmas lunch there on Christmas Day and it was absolutely fabulous. The food and service were exceptional, the staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The cost for a five course meal was very inexpensive and far less than other well known restaurants in the area. We will certainly be going again and would recommend the hotel and restaurant to anyone. Well done for bringing this lovely hotel back to life.

We had an excellent time at the Waldorf. The room was warm, clean, and welcoming. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help you with any questions you may have. The breakfast is exceptional!

5 stars all the way, the staff are amazing and service is excellent!

Good atmosphere. Expensive bar plus 12.5% service charge. Went for jazz night but couldn't hear it very well. All in all good but room for improvement.

Great place for a conference but I cannot comment on value as I wasn't paying. I assume it costs a pretty penny but it shows!

The staff were lovely and helpful, and the cocktail bar is fabulous. The room was on the 7th floor, overlooking the back. It was a smoking room, and definitely smelt like it. The sheet had a big rip in it, and the facilities in the room looked very dated and tired. When I used the toilets bear the gym the decor there looked old, with parts falling off the wall, and the stairs back up needed a good hoover and a clean.

Convenient location, but for the price you expect better, *much* better. We had dinner booked at Kaspers at the savoy, walking in there was a much more pleasant experience, stunning, and what I would have expected at the Warldorf!

Excellent stay at the Waldorf. Clean and comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The food was amazing.

I had my wedding at the Waldorf Hilton and can say from the start to finish the team there were outstanding. They are very meticulous personable and went out of their way to ensure the night was a great success. I would not hesitate to recommend the Waldorf Hilton for your special day

Fantastic hotel, staff is very friendly and breakfast was outstanding. This would be one of first choice next time. We forgot our passports in the room safe and Chris went above and beyond to keep it safe for us until we returned for 2 days.

Things started off well. This Hotel is in a prime location walkable conveniently located in Covent Garden, next to theatres, restaurants and tours. The down side was there was scaffolding all over the exterior which left something to be desired for the curb appeal. The doormen were slow to assist with doors and bags. The kicker is after a long day if travel and sightseeing we retired to our room to unwind and get some rest when I was surprised to see a mouse run across the room. Just to be sure I wasnt imagining it I shook the curtain and sure enough he ran back and scurried under the bed. We alerted management you responded promptly offered to help us pack and moved us to another room. No upgrade was offered not even a complementary room service or breakfast. No one ever followed up either to even see how we were. The new room had an inoperable phone and the Handy phone which is like an smartphone for the room was also not working. When we notified the desk again no promptness or accomodations were offered. While the hotel was beautiful and in a great location it still left some aspects to be desired. Also, The pool was part fitness center that was open to public so it really wasn't a relaxing spot.

I have been reading some of the reviews and I have to say this hotel is amazing this is my third time here and have not been disappointed again . They have made me feel very welcome and for my birthday they havr me a cake as well which I have to say was so nice. The room was lovely even better than last time so clean and comfortable. Felt relaxed and chilled Thank you once again waldorf hotel London you are brilliant..

Used a wowcher voucher and the afternoon tea wasn't any different to the people paying full price. Lovely friendly staff and nothing wasn't to much trouble.
Beautiful building and the room was lovely with a lady playing the harp.would definitely recommend it.

Fantastic Hotel in the heart of London theatre land

Location is excellent, but everything else disappointed for the price. Rooms are small by modern standards but that reflects standards of 1908 when it was built. Service simply not near what I would expect in a similar grade US hotel. Staff enjoying intriguing conversations among themselves and not attending to guests. In lobby bar I had to bother server twice just to come take our order. In the room, the weird shower design practically assured large puddles on the floor and rust marks on walls indicated this was a long-standing issue. Next to toilet was a brush with a holder. The holder was nearly full of brown water....yuck! Come on folks. Common areas of hotel looked a little beat up.

It has been disappointing that the Waldolf offer little or any compassion to the fortunate situation we are in. A room has been booked to celebrate a birthday unfortunately the birthday ladies husband died quite suddenly. The waldolf were unable to offer a refund or adapt the room to meet the customers new needs.

Amazing location near Covent Garden, Theatre District, and numerous restaurants. Walking distance to Trafalger Square and other attractions. Overall a very comfortable experience. We had booked connecting rooms, but these were not initially available due to a maintenance issue. The room manager took us directly to the rooms to investigate and we determined the issue was very minor, and we'd keep those rooms - he did a good job to "make it right"! Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. Breakfast is above expectations.

Good location for tourists. My room was small but beautifully appointed and very recently renovated. Great gym and swimming pool (albeit could be busy as it's also a regular members gym). I found it very odd that there was no bellman on the door when I arrived - not only that but I (and several others) had to buzz for entry - it was only 11pm. Not a great first impression: that's the sort of thing I'd expect of one of the 2 star places around Victoria, not a 5 star carrying the Waldorf brand. But overall, a good choice if the price is right.

An amazing hotel with a tradition. One of the best service in the world !!! Place a bomb in the heart of the Covent Garden, near all the great theaters and five hundred meters from the River Thames. Highly recommend very very.

Good meeting space. Attentive staff and high quality food (needed more though).

Arrived for cocktails and the barman spilled two glasses of ice over us as we were sitting at the bar.
Got 5o the room and had to call housekeeping as the bathroom was not clean. They did come and rectify the issues, but should have been right first time
No lift to the 8th floor and had to hold the 7th floor button in one of the lifts otherwise it kept cancelling.

Unfortunately this isnt good feedback. I expected the Waldorf to have higher standards than the service we received here. There is a huge lack of communication with the staff here. Our last day here went as followed:

1. We requested on 3 different occasions today December 2nd 2019 for our room to be cleaned. It was never cleaned. Totally unacceptable for the Waldorf.

2. We were in our room this morning and roughly around 1030am an extremely loud alarm went off and a red light was flashing. It alarmed my wife and she was trying to rest because she was feeling Ill... I opened the door and the housekeeper said sorry it was just a test. we would have appreciated being informed of this test instead of being alarmed/startled.

3. We went to the front desk to arrange breakfast for 430am delivery because our airport transfer is at 0550am. The guy was clueless and said that its not possible. He then said we may be able to get fruit. We then asked for coffee to atleast be delivered at that time. Again he was absolutely clueless and said he didn't think it was possible. I thought this was the Waldorf? Am I supposed to inconvenience myself when I stay here or are you guys supposed to convenience your guest in every way possible ? he told us we should eat somewhere out of the hotel before we leave for the airport. He then made a phone call and advised us to fill out the breakfast card in our room and that they MIGHT be able to fulfill our request. I'm sorry but I need definite answers. That to me was unacceptable and made me worry about how my morning leaving the property is gonna go. I was extremely upset and disappointed on my last day here. I can assure you that it will indeed be my last time staying here. I've informed guest services. Next time ill save money and stay at a regular Hilton and they will probably treat me better.
There were some fine gentlemen working in the lobby who made me feel at home but that didnt outweigh all the negative things .

Quite disappointed by this visit. The room had no atmosphere and quite lifeless.
The presentation of food was unexceptional, no spoons provided with the cream and jam for the scones. When these were requested we were given just one. Is there a shortage in Hilton land.
Cannot recommend or contemplate a repeat visit.

Beautiful Ewardian hotel in the heart of London. Very good food and service from well-trained staff. Wonderful meeting rooms and function spaces - Palm Court is spectacular. Bedrooms are generally first-rate.

Amazing will be going back central to a lot of the theatre's as well so you could very easily get about.

Afternoon tea with prosecco on Friday was amazing. Mary the waitress was fabulous to us and nothing was too much trouble for her or the senior staff there. Mary should receive an employee of the month award or similar. Thank you for a lovely experience. Kathy from Liverpool

Went for champagne tea + was excellent...service efficient + friendly,food delish + scrummy + constant refills of food + champers,harpist gently playing in background...an afternoon to remember. Thnx Waldorf staff xx

What a beautiful hotel! It certainly could use some updates but it s stunning and has a charm about it. The staff is top-notch.

Highly reputed, landmark located, famous hotel for the rich and famous, we just popped in to the lounge bar near the front entrance for a quick refreshment having an hour to kill before our table was ready at a local venue. It took the whole hour to be served 4 cocktails and a pot of tea. When it came it was very good but don't go there if you are on a tight schedule there is no sence of time exercised by the barman here. Prices typically high as would be expected but not an indication of the attentiveness of the staff. I am sure their rooms are great though I don't think I will be booking in any time soon.

We had a King Deluxe Premium room (or some jibber jabber like that). The room was a good size, but we had a view of a wall. The bathroom didn't have a plug for the hair dryer so had to dry my hair over the desk. The bed was made very sloppy. Concierge & bellmen were all very nice. Access to the gym downstairs was really cool, though we didn't get to take advantage of it during our visit. Towels were wrinkled & hung lazily. Just didn't seem up to par.

Given the Waldorf name & the upgrade package we purchased I expected a bit of a nicer experience.

Rooms are clean, the beds good, the air conditioning, or what has to go through, makes some noise in our room.

Excellent location for Corporative Events, Workshops Book Launch Party on its Light Art Decor Ballroom.

Its that time of year to have a chill weekend in london. Few beers with friends, shopping starts. 2nd stop gurking. Happy friday. Will be toasting me old mucker steve. Miss ya mate.

We arrived to hotel and needed to put our coats away ..first impressions . How shabby it was really needs decorating looked pitiful! Then we entered the room where Afternoon tea dance was held! The Christmas feel and decorations were indeed disappointing along with the room looking so dated! The Afternoon Tea was served at 3 the selection was presented nicely food ok but service not great too busy talking to one another the staff! .. we had to ask for clean plates and knives so we could eat our scones !! It was such a shame as my dear friend chose this for a birthday pressie we walked out went into the bar to have a drink couldn't get any service and it catered for the elderly very well ..the band was good the only thing that one could applaud definitely not recommending to any of our frirnds so terribly disappointed in this central hotel in London far better hotels and Aftetnoon tea had elsewhere didn't have a Christmas atmosphere whatsoever

Lacklustre hotel overpriced even for central London.

Faded despite recent renovation, room on first floor but felt like the basement with the window almost entirely obstructed by AC ducting. This reduced still further what little natural light there was. Good gym but experience spoiled by nanny state digitised H&S brief despite my only wishing to use the pool. Pool side lethal when wet.

Service non existent and breakfast average and repetitive....Avoid

We were attending a trade fair not guests at the hotel, but the staff were courteous and professional and the venue was clean and tidy. All good.

Excellent night stay in a brilliant location. Air conditioned rooms in the summer heat, lots of plug sockets for gadgets, and very peaceful. Friendly team of staff and lovely swimming pool, gym and Executive Lounge. A definite must when visiting London!

Loved the Waldorf Hilton from start to finish, we have never stayed in a hotel so luxurious and beautiful as the Waldorf, nothing was too much trouble. We had Afternoon tea and everything was fantastic. We ate in the Homage restaurant with champagne, utterly decadent.

Overall good stay here but needs some improvement. Staff was nice and helpful. Lobby area is great but rooms need to be updated and the gym should have longer hours.

Enjoyed my stay but was disappointed with the lack of facilities for disabled during my stay

Great atmosphere and great location. Concierge gave a great recommendation to the Ship Tavern for some fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding.

I spent a delightful weekend at this hotel and enjoyed every minute. The sheer luxury did not disappoint but what I liked most was that it combined the 30s/40s atmosphere with the present very well; it made me wish I could go back in time to those wonderful days and sipping a cocktail in their fabulous bar I could almost imagine it was Noel Coward at the piano. Excellent!

Location is easy to find and central. Hotel has a nice feel to it. Did not stay over night as attending event but AV was of good quality, food was great, size of room also impressive.
