This place is beautiful and the staff is top notch. Minor downsides: 1) their on site coffee shop closing at 2 pm, and since I get my last coffee of the day around 3 and that was a bummer 2) no shuttle directly to the airport from the hotel which I understand, but is frustrating and 3) the late night room service carts rolling down the hallways til almost midnight were unpleasant as they clattered down the hall.
The staff, service and food was a delectable experience. The jazz music and brunch was over the top perfect!
This place is where I come for peace, serenity and nature. I live here and this is my perfect weekend getaway. Beautiful trail, so much information along the hikes. A very serene cozy resort. Amazing staff. A gem sitting in the middle of nature yet doesn't disrupt the natural environment.
These are very difficult times for hotels, and, in particular hotels that operate at the 'higher end' of providing a relaxing experience. The food is absent. It is largely self-serve. Staff is undertrained and overwhelmed to be operating in the post COVID times.
So, if you choose to stay, bring your own beer and towels, be prepared to leave the resort for food and just realize that your 'resort fee' is nothing more than a fee granting you the right to park your car.
Hopefully, months from now, this resort can rebuild into a great resort. But, for now, just stay at the Hampton.

Great time with 3 and 5 year old kids. Enjoyed a stay-cation off-season and the experience was wonderful and we will definitely be back!
The views are spectacular, the golf course is top-notch, and the staff was extremely hospitable. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to enjoy Tucson.

Great venue and hotel. Location is outstanding. Service excellent. Food excellent. Too much walking to get around to rooms and restaurants and other things.
The room was really nice and spacious. The bathtub was monstrous in size. The only issue was the view. You pay extra for a patio with a view and all we saw were trees and the parking lot. The expectation is at least to see the city or desert based on the room description/advertisement. We also had an issue where someone upped the room service tip after signature, but the front staff adjudicated that issue quickly.
We are normally very frugal with our hotel stays and typically only for the night for essential sleeping. This resort was well worth the extra $ that we normally spend. The views were breath-taking, the resort was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and assisted us greatly even when our flight home was cancelled for another day. The food was a tad limited for those with dietary restrictions and they could make a little better of a mojito. There isn't a shuttle to or from the airport, the wifi was a tad slow and sometimes the cable wasn't connecting to their servers. But the location and sights were worth disconnecting. The tubs were massive and the rooms came with outdoor balconies. Absolutely beautiful. We will be returning in the years to come!
Our experience at the resort was great. The location brought us up close o the beautiful n nature of the area. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Our children absolutely loved the the movie by the pool.
The rooms were perfect. One of the most comfortable stays we have ever had.
I've been here twice now and it's definitely one of the nicer resorts. It's also right on the Ventana Canyon, so you can run or hike as much of that as you want to without having to drive anywhere. The drinks and food are top-notch and so is the service. I don't normally have mixed drinks, but I always get at least one prickly pear margarita while I'm down there. the Southwest breakfast and the grilled chicken sandwich are also great choices if you are eating there. There is a lovely waterfall in the back as well.
Welcoming and friendly staff who look out for their guests and make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Rooms were modern and comfort.
Best Sunday Brunch in Tucson! We love coming here. The location is beautiful with views and the food is everything you could imagine. Top it off with all you can drink mimosas, bloody Mary's, or craft beer and you can't go wrong.

Went for Loews Ventana Holiday Tea. It was lovely, our server was very nice and attentive and the tea service was very good. We sat right next to the huge Christmas tree and had a lovely afternoon.
Very nice rooms and great walking paths to a waterfall. Will say that the smell of the lobby is off putting, its like they are hiding dead bodies in the basement and covering it up with the scent of lavender, near knocks you over when you walk in. Otherwise, expensive but great options for drinks and food.
A nice, beautiful place. However, I paid over $400 dollars for this hotel and when I fist came into my room the toilet was broken, the sink had a leak. Not only this but I then went into the gym and they told me I had to pay $10 to use it. I am very upset, I would have thought since I had to pay for the expensive food, room and everything I should have been able to have some privileges such as gym use. Wouldn't recommend unless you want to pay extra for things a $50 hotel offers for free.
Enjoyable desert resort in the hills bordering Tucson. Our suite had a beautiful panoramic view down the canyon to the city below which was a great way to start the day. We found the staff friendly and welcoming, particularly the bell staff and front desk. Decent size pool although a bit surprised it wasn t larger given the Tucson location. Appreciated the hot tub and waterfall-fed cool pool also in the main pool area. Nice spa with a variety of treatments available. Didn t get to play the golf course but it looked nice from our balcony...maybe next time.

My stay was so pleasant and comfortable I didn't want to leave. From the lobby to the rooms and the outside area. It was beautiful. Was afraid the heat would ruin my day but it was so nice n cool I didn't even feel it. From feeding the fish to the beautiful waterfall. The staff was so welcoming and helpful at all times. Thank you
Such a lovely area, tucked away nicely into the hillside amongst mature Saguaro Cactus'. Enjoyed our time in the presidential suite, with access to walking trails and private jacuzzi... Waterfall was an extra bonus I took tons of pictures from all around, great venue for business conventions and/or just to relax!

I just wanted to share how amazing the Sunday brunch is. This is our 3rd time and Javier at the Blues, Brews, and Bbq goes above and beyond in taking care of us! It is the best!

Gorgeous views, beautiful hotel! Kids loved the pool and the trails around the hotel - capped off with the coolest waterfall! Had a problem with our tv and they fixed it immiediatley. Room service was prompt and food was pretty good (steak quesadillas). Would come back again!
Giving this a generous 3 star. The physical land / location of the propery is outstanding and everything else is average. The hotel property is outdated. I had 3 rooms at the hotel in one room, the walls were thin, so you can hear your neighbors conversations...The furniture in the rooms is uncomfortable and pretty much worn out. (However the bed is comfortable). There is not enough light for the evening so the rooms are darker than they should be. The front desk service is very nice, they do their job well. The bell staff is friendly but unresponsive (or under staffed) (note: there was 1 ultra rude man... will assume he had a bad day or is a mean man in general) The restaurant staff is kind but slow service. The food selection is limited but quality is above average. As a very frequent global traveler, this hotel is not even close to 5 star quality..at best it s 3 star by any normal international standard. I share the feedback with the manger and he was incredibly friendly and took the feedback seriously and he went the extra effort to over accommodate... i still feel compelled to share this review so if you book here, you know what you are getting so your expectations are met.

Extremely clean, professional and worth the money! The staff will go out of their way to make sure bthe guests are satisfied. We have been to several resorts in Tuscon and this one tops the charts by far! Size isn't everything, it's quality/courtesy that makes it or breaks it.
Loews is just stunning. Indoors and out, this place is beautiful! The staff are all very nice and professional. The surroundings are surreal, I just love it here. All the rooms have wonderful, giant showers, nice big towels. The pool in gorgeous, they even provide sunblock!
Very clean, up date and spacious rooms. Balconies are even very clean. Higher up on the base of the mountain so views are good. Only complaint is WiFi is lacking quite a but unless of course you pay up more money. This place is not cheap by any means and so it's absurd that something as simple as GOOD wifi isn't included.

Beatiful hotel grounds. The pool, room, outside walk and lobby were all amazing. Staff was incredibly friendly and there were alot of things to do within the hotel and nearby. Walk to a nearby waterfall, spa services, and golf all easily accessible. My only concern would be the thickness of the walls. Our neighbor was playing music and we could hear it very clearly. It didn't seem as though they were blasting it, but the sound carried into room.
Obsessed with this place. My colleagues and I spend most of the year on the road an in hotels. Loews Ventana Canyon Resort has been top notch. Great, courteous staff, beautiful location, amazing amenities.
Will definitely come back for leisure.

Place is class. Excellent except the room we were in never really cooled off and rolling bar poured horrible mixed drinks. Flying V was excellent and Aunjali was terrific as our bartender
We've stayed here twice now over the years, once by luck and then with intent. What a beautiful resort! From the koi ponds to the walking trails, the golf course to poolside - you'll be hard pressed to find a nicer place to stay for the price! Highly recommend.
