First off I stayed there during June 2020 just as the hotels were starting to reopen for business after the pandemic shutdown. The whole staff, especially Peter was extremely helpful while we were there. Everything was clean and well done with appropriate masks, sanitizing, and keeping social distancing. My whole family felt safe there which is the most important thing right now!

I had booked a girls get away weekend at the hilton tucson el conquistador since it was close to some of the things my girls and I wanted to do and considered a '4 star hotel'. The first night in the hotel was nothing what we expected: bugs/mold/ noise...We decided we couldn't handle the second night. So we went to Loews and oh my goodness!! We should have booked here in the beginning. After telling the receptionist what an awful night we had had he helped us get a great quiet room and it was everything we expected! No bugs, mold or noise...Very classy and definitely a much better deal for a true 4 star hotel! Will definitely be coming back here! Thank you so much for all your help!

There are so many great things about this place. The view is beautiful and we loved the trails throughout the property to explore. The rooms are nice as are the patios. The bed is super comfy and every person we've encountered is nice and friendly. The pool is okay but the deck was crowded by chairs with little room to navigate and I had my infant and a stroller with me. The burger at the pool was delish. Drinks were a bit on the expensive side and not very strong. We were psyched about dinner but let down. The kids pizza was undercooked and doughy. My husband had lackluster fried chicken, and the wings were okay but better with the dipping sauce. Our artichoke dip wasn't creamy or warm. Aside from the food we loved our experience. Ok

We really enjoyed our vacation here over the 4th of July holiday. All of the staff was kind and helpful, the pool has a great bar and pristine views, and we saw quite a bit of desert wildlife on the property. This resort is the luxury and comfort of high end without feeling pretentious. We'll be back when we're in Tucson again!

The seamless meld of luxury and natural beauty is unprecedented. From the moment you drive up you are greeted with friendly, knowledgeable staff ready and willing to tend to your every need. Not one question was left unanswered after checking in. The Concierge was most helpful in arranging meals and room service for my wife and I who were celebrating 10 years of marrage. I look forward to returning to this breathtaking resort.

I've stayed at this place every year for the past 6 and it is a treat every time. The staff is extremely attentive and the rooms are perfect. The resort itself is beautiful with the hiking trails, resort style pool/hot tub, and the views of the city from above. I highly recommend!

Great location, with great rooms (bed, bath, most everything). The outdoor pools & spa were very relaxing and well setup. It s nestled against the hill with a nice view of the city, and includes a small walk to the waterfall and butterfly garden on site. Overall, it made for a relaxing getaway!

The location cannot be beat. The hotel is located in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains about 500 feet above the valley floor. The views are spectacular and the natural desert flora and fauna are right outside your door. The golf course is rated among the top 20 in the USA, the spa is one of the best out there and the hotel is at the start of a large network of mountain hiking trails. The hotel is certainly not cheap but given all the amenities and the high level of customer service it's actually good value for the high price. It's a 15-20 minute drive from anywhere of interest in central Tucson and traffic can be an issue at times, so if you need to be in central Tucson you might be better off staying somewhere else. The staff is courteous and professional and goes out of the way to please. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious. The only negative is that the hallway corridors are dark and have dirty wallpaper and carpets...in need of a facelift.

Looking for an outstanding culinary experience where the ambiance is phenomenal, the food extremely tasty, fresh, tantalizing and abundant look no further than the Brunch at Ventana Canyon. The Team choreographed by Patty Garcia sets the bar so high that the runner up is in the far distance. How does one describe the flavor, the passion and tastiness in words? I suggest you make reservations for your palate and see for yourself this hidden gem nestled in the foothills and the effect it will have on your food soul. A Big Shout Out to the Ventana Canyon Brunch Team.

The buffet was amazing, as always, but getting drinks and service at the serenity pool was difficult. It took 40 and 45 minutes for our orders to arrive after being placed. After waiting an hour for our receipt, we left and had our friends who were staying another night wait for it. The quality of the buffet is worth coming back for though.

Liam and Phillip were amazing hosts at the pool. I wasn't happy with the amount of bees and wasps but that wasn't the hotel's fault. When I was stung, Liam took care of me with some ointment that took the pain away almost instantly. Phillip was a great server at the pool and took care of us when we weren't treated appropriately by another wait staff member.

Loews is our favorite place to staycation in Tucson. The views are breathtaking, the pool is incredible- tucked into the side of a mountain! The rooms are always clean and comfortable and we love the vibe of the place. During perfect weather the firepits are fun to sit outside and enjoy. This place always reminds me how stunning Tucson is.

Beautiful resort, but poor customer service. Room was finally ready for check-in two hours after check-in time (had to sit in the lobby and wait) and disputed an incorrect charge on my bill for three weeks before it was finally resolved. Customer Service questioned my honesty when disputing the charge before finally taking care of it.

Every time I come I am impressed. The staff and applications are great. Several dining and recreation activities make this one of my favorite places to stay in Tucson. There is a mandatory tip for pool service...I don't like that... typically they get less for doing it that way.

The amenities were great and the service was wonderful. Hard to beat the view of the city lights from our room. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. Would definitely stay again.

We hold an annual event in the banquet/ meeting halls of the resort. The staff is very helpful and welcoming, the facilities are clean and easy to navigate. The food served at the event was delicious, live that they have options beyond steak and chicken.

Had a great Sunday brunch. Meat and veggies on point. Mimosas were also nice. Desserts had excellent choices, chocolate strawberries always a great choice. Thanks for getting us a table.

A absolutely wonderful resort. Good fun for all! The location is stunningly beautiful and the room are clean and cozy. Air conditioning included free!! The pools were the highlight of the resort, one giant pool and a big hot tub and a cold tub. Cold tubs are new to me, but nothing is more refreshing then taking a dunk in the cool water after a hot hike! I highly recommend this hotel, a whole lot of bang for your buck. We will certainly be returning!!
