Like a whole other world, very surreal, almost ethereal in nature.

The only thing good about this place is the Scenery. People there are RUDE ! Waste of time .

Beautiful grounds! Veey family friendly. Fireworks display was top rate!

The area is beautiful, Arizona desert! Rooms are clean and well furnished.

Very nice hotel. Comfortable rooms and good service. Friendly staff. Good view. A little far from the airport. The only reason I am not giving five stars is that they messed up on my billing and had to follow up. Of course they sorted it out but took a few calls even after check out. Got billed twice for a couple of nights which can be pretty steep.

I love this place. The little nature walk to the 80 foot waterfall is really nice . humming birds everywhere ! :) it's cool you can feed their very large / old coi fish for 25 cents. They have a great pool and Jacuzzi area . my favorite thing is the oversized bath tubs in the rooms. I'm tall so it's nice to actually have a tub that fits me. I thought the food could be a little better but was ok.

I was helping with my high school prom's photo booth in one of the ball rooms, and the staff was very helpful with helping us and making sure we had everything we need and we're very nice

We played the mountain side golf course. In our top 5 most beautiful course we have played in the Tucson area.

Great location. Beautiful resort and room. But service was terrible. Spent more time on the phone with the front desk in one night than actually getting to sleep.

Loews is in a perfect spot where it's close enough to city life, but tucked away and surrounded by beautiful nature and a fantastic walking trail right next to it. They have tons of amenities, the gym is great, a wonderful restaurant on the grounds, and the rooms are very nice. We got a balcony with a view that pointed towards the mountains and a pond running off the main trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was their elevators. The doors shut after an extremely short period of time, and it didn't seem as though they had sensors on them to identify when someone was trying to hold the door. A few times I saw guests get cut off from their spouses or friends because the doors just snapped shut after only one person walked through them. When two people were getting out of the elevator it would shut right after and no one would be able to get in. My husband and I were staying on the third floor which for some reason we couldn't find stairs leading to, so we had a lot of experience dealing with the elevators. Haha

A high end full service resort property in the foothills of the Santa Catalina mountains outside of the central Tucson area. Very spacious rooms, well maintained, and spotless. On site restaurants from casual to formal, spa services, swimming pools, tennis courts and golf. Beautiful lobby. Choose between mountain or city views - can't really go wrong. Large private balconies with chairs and table. Professional staff are friendly and always available to assist, but never stuffy or pretentious.

Wonderful resort with a great staff. My wife and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary and we had a great time.

Absolutely gorgeous resort with amazing food, incredible views, and wonderful staff that makes you feel welcome and relaxed. If you want a truly relaxing retreat, definitely make it to this resort!

My company had their Christmas party at Lowe s Ventana Canyon. The resort is beautiful and the staff was wonderful I especially want to compliment one server her name was Lovely she was so caring and friendly. I am a vegetarian and she went out of her way to let the kitchen know and brought me some grilled vegetables during the appetizer segment of our party . Thank you Lovely!!

I have been attending the Lowes Ventana Canyon Sunday brunch the past 4 years for my birthday, and every year more and more people have attended. This past visit, unfortunately, will be the last.

Upon arriving I was told that I needed to monitor people and make sure they don't get carried away because "You wouldn't want one person ruining it for everyone else", I'm not entirely sure what that means but I have never, in all of the restaurants that I've been to, been told to monitor the group of people. We had around 30 people, half of which were doctors and not once did we get "out of hand"

Debbie, our server, was amazing.

But Tyler, the manager, was ill-mannered, sharp and quite frankly rude. It's unfortunate that one person ruined it for everyone.

We had rooms and were planning on staying, but after our experience, we felt unwelcome and canceled our reservations.

If you are looking for a fun day with good food and people, I'd recommend trying The Grill at Hacienda.

Room was pretty warm, not very comparable to sleep. Other than that was a great stay!

Great views. The security staff could use some retraining.

Beautiful property we just had an appetizer artichoke dip with chips and creme brulee in the Cascade lounge area. Clean and modern decoration.

Worst place I've ever stayed! Arrived at night and the front lady was rude, they didn't have my room ready when I got there I had to ask again for what I needed and at the end they make extra charges without telling you, won't be coming back that's for sure!!!

Excellent hotel with a great walking trail to see the desert landscape.

This resort, set in the backdrop of the Catalina Mountains is extraordinary. The layout of the campus is well thought out, maximizing the beauty of its surroundings. The bedding was wonderful; we slept in blissful comfort. You must dine at the Flying V restaurant here and appreciate the tableside-prepared guacamole with one of their specialty margaritas. Service is attentative and courteous. Everything that happens here is a reflection of a management team that is on top of all the details, and compromises none.

Great location, well maintained. Didn't smell like a hotel! Great rooms with balconies and awesome showers.

Not worth the money, the rooms were nice but the staff very disorganized for large parties and groups.

I enjoyed my stay here. The place is very nice, and the scenery around it is beautiful and striking. The bars and restaurants were good and enjoyable. And everyone I interacted with while I was there was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Very classy oasis in the foothills of the mountains in Tucson. The Sunday Blues, Brews, and BBQ brunch is amazing. They really pay attention to detail at this resort. Highly recommend for adults or families.

Always have a wonderful experience here... Can't remember the guy at the front desks name but he is always so nice and helpful!!

Very beautiful property...Room was large and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable as well as the pillows. One of the few places you don't have to sleep in foam rubber pillows unless you bring your own. The shower was very very large and the soaps and shampoo were high quality - a pleasure to use.

I had the opportunity to have the strip steak for dinner which was done just right - try the au jus that is served with the steak it was unlike anything I have ever had before - super good.

Breakfast was scrambled eggs and ham - so much I could not finish it.

Food is pricey, but worth the extra dollars - very well prepared with large portions.

The only issue I would say is that this property is very very large and somewhat difficult to navigate. I had to take a bank of elevators to the second floor then go through a couple long hallways to a second bank of elevators then down yet another long hallway to get to my room, so bring your walking shoes to get to your room.

Other than that you will have a great experience at this hotel.

Loved the visiting here and I look forward to another stay. The Sunday brunch was delicious and walk to the waterfall was perfect.

Nice place, beautiful views, lots of amenities. Was going to stay a couple of nights but they wanted to put the cost of the room plus a very large hold onto my card to cover any possible food, drink or incedentals that we could rack up. Maybe I missed where it said that while booking online but I would have looked else where had I known. Other than that it seems like a very nice place maybe could use some small cosmetic touch ups here and there but if you are looking for a place to go with family where you just want to stay in one place, this resort would probably be perfect for you.

One of the finest and friendliest resorts in America.
Excellent food , A staff that looks professional and knows what good service is all about!!! A staffed Grill out by the pool and a waterfall by the Jacuzzi. Backed clear up to the Mountains with wonderful trails that naturally preserve all the saguaro and raptor habitats. There is a resident roadrunner that easedrops on your lunch conversation and large golden fish that maintain the water flowing under the resort!

Beautiful resort with comfortable and clean rooms. Our experience with check in was not as welcoming as other high end resorts. We had a faulty refrigerator in our room and our delicious Italian leftovers spoiled. They eventually brought us another refrigerator after we called a couple of times. It was a busy weekend and the staff was not as concerned as we thought they should be. Thankfully, we enjoyed most of the other wonderful sites and tastes of Tucson so our trip was memorable. Not sure if I would stay here again.

We all enjoyed Lowes Ventana Canyon. Excellent resort location, great food choices, large, clean quiet rooms, and attentive staff.

Not only is the setting gorgeous, this resort has excellent service. Every employee I encountered was very nice, greeted us, and if you asked a question they gave very thoughtful answers. This resort is in the foothills of a mountain range and far from downtown Tucson or other attractions. I recommend renting a car through the concierge using Enterprise. They gave us a very good rate and will deliver the car to you and return it for you. The food at the resort is more expensive than other restaurants you can drive to, and the food at the resort is good but also more bland than you would expect for southwest cuisine. This is probably intentional as they are trying to please various palates and don't want to make things too spicy. The walk through the trails at the resort is not very long at all, but there's a lot of more serious hiking in the desert.

We loved it here and can't wait to come back to Arizona! Starry nights in the hottub were beautiful and it was a great party to ring in the new year! Thanks from Toronto!

Great experience.! There was construction and updating going on but our room was away from construction so we didn't hear any noise. Lounge remodel completed while we were there. It's beautiful. Very relaxing as we needed some R&R from work. Enjoyed the mountain view and waterfall. Nature walk was a great experience and we did it 3 or 4 times. Nice view of the city from the upper terrace. Enjoyed feeding the fish. The staff were awesome!! Dennis, the bellman was GREAT. He helped us to our room and got us a refrigerator that arrived within a few minutes of our arrival. He told us about the hotel and showed us around our room. After returning from eating he took our pizza to our room so we could go directly to the lounge for a drink. Mary and Adam at Bill's Grill were great as well. They provided us a glass of ice water as we were heading out to enjoy the nature hike. We also ate lunch there on return. They were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The pool staff were friendly as well. We were served some strawberry smoothies while enjoying the pool that were delicious. Upon departure we met Nick and Peter. They were helpful and friendly. There were many others who;s name I don't remember but they were all friendly, helpful and attentive. You can tell they love their job. It shows in their interaction with the guests. Can't wait to come back. Kudos to all!!

Always friendly and accommodating staff. Beautiful property and surroundings. We enjoyed the music in the lobby/lounge , meeting up with friends , and dancing Paul Green and Midnight Blue have a following and created an evening of fun and friendship A five heart evening.

Golf course is very nice, the breakfast at the restaurant is very good. Don t miss the natural fall at walking distance from the hotel.

Golf staff was super friendly and helpful. The course is one of the nicest I've played and is in amazing condition. If you can abide the price, this is a fantastic place to be.

This place is amazing! If you wander around you'll see architecture and landscapes that make the surrounding area feel magical. There's tennis, golf, swimming, spas, and nice lounges that serve food and beverage, along with the weekend hosting live band performances! If you have time come here!

Very relaxing resort. I would sit and look out at the mountains contrasting work the sky. The Cactus in the distance dotting the mountain all the way up. There was a giant koi pond running from the back, under the resort to the front and walking and jogging trails on the property, one leading to a waterfall. Very nice experience, great resort.
