Very good experience! Made a same day reservation and had the Canyon suite I believe. Had living room and bed room attached. Nice big patio on one side and regular patio on the bedroom side. We could see the water fall from the room during the day. Lots to do! Little pricey but well worth it. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a issue and it was taken care of. Words can t really explain. You have to go and experience it for yourself!

I went for a professional conference and everything was beautiful. Except the lunch. It was supposed to be Waldorf chicken salad and we received 3 pieces of lettuce and 3 cubes of chicken not quite what I would call a salad. Other than that it was great!

Easily one of the better hotels in Tucson, if not the best due to its location and views. Check out Flying V and order the table side guac if that s your thing. Also, the lobby bar has Dragoon on-tap last I checked so that s a big plus. Regardless, you ll have a blast at this resort in the Catalina foothills!

There was a wedding there which limited parking. There were drunk people vomiting in the parking lot and running up and down the breezeway until 3am.

I went to take a shower and there was a dead bug adhered to a towel.

I left several messages for the spa and there was no follow through.

On Saturday I ordered blueberry pancakes for breakfast...they were under cooked with raw batter.

The management did not care about our dissatisfaction. They finally discounted one night at 50%.

My partner served our country and I wanted this to be a special weekend for him....this was certainly not the way to show appreciation for his service.

My favorite hotel in Tucson. Beautiful building. Even more beautiful location. Reasonable summer time rates. Great bed. Made my sore back relax.

Quirky touch: in the desert foliage just off our patio wall there was a pair of black lace panties in the prickly pear cactus. They had been worn!! My wife and I have always enjoyed this hotel and didn't need this suggestion. But it was pretty entertaining.

The staff and overall appearance of the resort was impeccable. One Bellman stood out; his name was Oscar Ruiz. This individual was very attentive to our needs and a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I celebrated our 29th Weddieng Anniversary in a wonderful resort environment. Thank you....

Awesome place, but I have to deduct a point for its inability to think from its users' perspective. Web site proudly announces five restaurants, but when you're coming in late at night and trying to find out what is open and what food they serve, the website isn't helpful, the 800 number routes to a central call center that doesn't know, and all they can do is route you to the hostess at one of the restaurants, who really doesn't have time to answer questions like this on a busy night.

Getting around the place is another bad example. Very difficult, signage poor, printed maps are incorrect, and staff can't even give good directions. Funny and sad how many times in four days that the simple act of getting around turned into a frustrating experience.

The rooms are nice. The grounds are really nice. The pool is great. (Website says two pools, but one is only a lap pool, so there is only one to play in.) The bathtubs are sinfully large in an arid climate, though.

Wedding planning event. Not alot of variety for vendors. Meaning alot of the same categories and not alot of catering options or venues of all price ranges. Not as big as it was advertised and drinks were over priced.

This place has an amazing tub/shower the pool seemed over crowded. So we passed on swimming. The staff were very friendly. It would be awesome if the rooms had a microwave. Lovely location there's walking trails out back. I will visit here again. We were able to check out at 4pm due to Covid-19 which was very nice we left before that but it was nice to not have to worry about the time.

Nice place to stay with close trails and a waterfall. Food and drinks were delicious. Room was spacious only draw back is the sink drainage pipe in our room smelled like sewage and so that ruined our stay

Booked a room 2 months in advance. Put me in a room facing hot tub construction zone where they were jack hammering starting at 9am. Not sure why they put us in the room closest to the construction as they were not nearly full. Nature walk was not peaceful. They said they would comp breakfast and never did. Called them and again said they would and didn't. Poorly managed.

On behalf of Peoples Mortgage Company - Tucson, thank you for donating a gift certificate to our 4th Annual Derby Day the Peoples Way Charity Fundraising Event. All proceeds from our event went to our event beneficiary, The Tucson Musicians Museum. Your donation played a huge role in our fundraising goals and we could not have done it without your generosity. This was the second year in a row that Loews donated to our cause. They truly give back to the community. Thank you!

If I could give the property 4.8 stars I would. Not quite 5 stars just due to a few small things that were not specifically related to the hotel - like the pool area became overtaken by younger and drunk guests on Saturday and it's a small area - so it was disruptive if you are looking for a quieter relaxing day. Rooms were well kept, comfortable. Staff was extremely accommodating and the cleaning protocols and mask wearing were very consistent. The food at Vista Barista was good, but very pricey so the value was not great. The Flying V dinner we had again was a little expensive - but excellent food. The grounds were kept very nicely. We hope to go back in the spring!

I just walked through the hotel area and can say that it is very well located with access to many hiking trails and a magnificent view over the city. If you have the small change and desert landscape that is so easy to explore on the world here is just the right place.

I was so disappointed in the food at this hotel. Nothing for a vegetarian, so ordered fish tacos. Asked for corn tortillas instead of flour. Asked for plain cabbage without dressing. Neither request was delivered. The fish was only half unthawed. I sent it back to exchange the cabbage and what I received was a plate strewn with cabbage on top of cold flour tortillas with half frozen fish. I dumped the whole mess on top of a salad. The waitress comped my meal and I did tip her for her efforts back and forth with kitchen. Hopefully, will never go back.

Part of a team that held a meeting at this resort for about 60 K-12 education professionals from around the country. Facility was stunning, the desert trail especially. Five-star service just as you'd expect. Great food. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful. I do have to say....I was a bit weary to get in the pool last weekend considering the corona virus spike and approx 60 people on the pool..and the adult only pool was not open. otherwise, gorgeous place to stay.

A gem hidden in the desert of Tuscon, nestled among breathtaking cacti, succulents, and surrounded by generous, polite, and consistently friendly staff members. The hotel room was modern, the bed was comfortable, and the bad tub was huge (think your own personal jacuzzi size). The views were calm and peaceful. Among arrival, you'll see an opening of the hotel enclosed in greenery - the fourth floor allows access to this observatory deck complete with 360 views and a bench to sit back, and relax. Complete with a swimming pool area and poolside service, outdoor and indoor restaurants, golf course, nature trails, and a vast variety of options for work conferences with entertainment. Absolutely worth every penny, especially if you're looking for somewhere to relax, without leaving the resort.

What a fine golf resort should be; first class and high class. They're well versed in the "club environment". You're the privileged patron when you're here and they never let you forget that. Great staff.

I was here for Flavors of Tucson. The whole venue is gorgeous and totally luxurious. Where else has cloth towels in the bathroom to dry your hands? Anyway, someday I'd love to actually stay here.

We had a day pass in cabana . Price was 225. The cabana had mini refrigerator which included soda , three bottles of Fiji water , Evian face water and big fruit plate . Also there was a sofa , table with chairs , ceiling fan and three loungers in front of cabana. Food from grill restaurant was Wow , burger was delicious, chicken sandwich was delicious. Service was very good . One star I removed cause it was dirty in cabana , much dust on a furniture and floor looked dirty like after previous people wasn t washed . Hopefully next time we experience clean cabana . Thank you

Hotel under construction, I was not informed upon making a reservation. I had to walk through a war zone to get to my room, which was worse than an old Holiday Inn. So glad I paid the "resort fee". I tipped the front desk woman $20 and requested a new room, I was given a worse one. I went to front desk again and requested a new room, I was told that another woman would handle it for tomorrow- it was NEVER handled. They seem to be making up the loss of revenue by charging insane prices for tiny servings. I paid $25 dollars for a vodka- soda. I paid $15 for a VERY TINY sliver of cheese cake. NEVER AGAIN.

It is most definitely not a luxury resort. The room s heating was non-functional (even after two repairmen came to fix it). The room s door opened up to the outdoors which, although probably nice is good weather, was pretty miserable in the cold and rainy weather. When we ordered breakfast to the room one item came instead of another with no warning and the smoothie was so chalk full of sugar (despite being on the healthy section of the menu) that my sister spit it out. The first repairman was also quite rude, and the room was not particularly pretty or clean (there was a giant cobweb in the corner). However, the lobby was beautiful, the restaurant food pretty good, and the majority of the staff friendly and courteous. Overall, it s a fine hotel, but by no means a luxury resort.

We decided for the first time, we would try going out for Christmas Brunch. What a mistake! For our more than $200( tip of 20% is mandatory, probably because they know their service is so poor!), we received bad mimosas(sweet Prosecco and pasteurized oj instead of fresh), low quality food and service bordering on rude! Many of the people serving the food do not speak English so are not able to answer any questions and the wait staff we had mostly ignored us. We did appreciate the hostess sitting us outside where our large dog was allowed. She also, upon checking with me on my way to the buffet and hearing how unhappy we were, sent the Manager over. He gave us a bottle of Champagne as an attempt to soften a very dispiriting Christmas. This experience has taught us to avoid buffets at all costs.

Really nice rooms, comfortable bed and in the Ventana Patio rooms the tub/shower is amazing. Grounds are exceptionally beautiful. Sometimes the service was a bit lacking, but nothing really bad. Pool area is nice, lots of chairs, towels, water and sunscreen provided. Jacuzzi is a little disappointing, felt more like bathwater. But I did see they are renovating it in November, so it may be amazing soon.

The hotel's scenic view, pool, and rooms are top-notch. The bath tub is the largest tub I've ever seen. However, management failed to have rooms ready for my family and numerous other guests as the front desk staff stated, "we had a large turnover of rooms last night." After waiting for 40 minutes for our room, we were offered a different room from the one that was ordered online. If we didn't accept the room offered the wait was going to be longer causing us to miss our dinner reservation. Additionally, the room given to us was an extreme walk from the parking lot. Management's inability to run a hotel and the long distance from the parking lot to the room makes the stay not worth the price.
