I have had Neat for several years now and they have provided excellent products. They have a great support team that is ther and willing to help if the need comes up. In the transition to Neat 2.0 some favored features were lost/ removed. My review will increase when they return.

During my most recent interaction with support. NeatTech Sarah did an excellent job and was able to resolve my issue and identify a resolution that is going to provide help to the Neat Ecosystem for othe users. Great Job Sarah.

Absolutely the worst possible support of any company that I have ever delt with. I don't care how inexpensive it may be or how useful their product/s are, DON'T buy ANYTHING from them. I'm sure that there are other companies that offer similar products out there. BUYER BEWARE

Same as everyone else. Do not buy this product. I have had it for years now you are forced to use there web based version (Cloud). Meaning you have to pay for it after you had paid for your scanner and software. If you stop paying for the cloud software you can no longer get access to your info F@@@@@ up. They discontinued the desktop application at 5.7. No longer supported. I had 137 errors on some documents trying to sync to my phone app and online application but it kept failing. It took them 1.5 months to resolve the issue. It still really didn't fix the issues. I'm going to try finding a new software were I can store documents. To bad Neat you lost another costumer. There not going to control what I'm going to do with my documents then Nickel and dime me.

I've been using the Neat program / scanner system ...

I've been using the Neat program / scanner system for almost five years - it has enabled me to become almost paperless. One of the best benefits of the program is that I always have a complete filing 'cabinet' wherever I happen to be. I am now using the new 2.0 Neat System and have recently had the occasion to require some technical support. My Tech - May Ann G. - was fantastic! She quickly solved my issue as well as offered instructional tools regarding the use of the new and even better Neat System. Great Job!

Mary is an excellent technician; she was patience with me, quickly realizing that I was a novice she guided me through each program to get me up and running again. Even though it took 1 hr & 4 min to get me where I needed to be she did not make me feel rushed. Mary in and excellent representative of the Neat Company, you should be proud.

Do yourself a favor and do not purchase or use any...

Do yourself a favor and do not purchase or use anything from Neat, you will never be able to cancel your software subscription unless you file a report with the Better Business Bureau, like I did. And if you purchase a scanner, you will not be able to return it, even though they supposedly have a 30 day return window. The product is inferior and there is no technical support or customer service. They will probably be shut down by the SEC soon.

Dolly was my tech adviser through the process of syncing the data from the old system to the cloud. She was steadfast in her working with me. She very seldom left my virtual side all the time it took to transfer 8,000 files. It did take a couple of days for the transfer to happen but on my side it was seamless. I can't praise her work any higher.
As for the system:I had the old system on my computer for the last four years. It has always been a slow way of inputting with the scanner and using a program that was no longer supported since 2016. I was not a fan of moving up to the cloud. Not for security reasons just didn't want to change. Now that I have I want to kick myself for all the hours spent that I could have been on the golf course. Of course, I don't play golf, but if I did I would have spent the time there.
Seriously, I can't begin to tell you how excited I am about this product. I wish there were a way for prospective customers to get in touch with me and have me tell them personally how it is changing my work load. But then, if I keep writing this review all the time saved will go up in smoke.

We have owned a Neat scanner for the last two year...

We have owned a Neat scanner for the last two years but haven't used it regularly. I now decided it was time to get the work done but unfortunately, with all of the upgrades in the software, I couldn't get it to work at all. I called Customer Service and in less than 15 minutes, all systems were a go. Love it and so happy that all is back up and running. Totally recommend.

I was utilizing a very old Neat program and I decided to up grade. I called and they explained the different Neat programs. I selected a program and wanted to transfer all my data in the old program to the new. The customer care individual transferred me to the technical support. This is the place where I got to know my technical data service member very well. He introduce himself and his name was Cyrus A. He asked me what he could do for me and unbeknown to both of us that started a very long and tiring journey. Since my original Neat program was no longer in use, he stated that we would have to make all of the files pdf compatible in order to migrate them to the new Neat Cloud program. I said that would be okay, but due to the very large amount of data (over 6800 files) and the slow speed of my computer it might take two maybe three days to complete. The trouble started very shortly after the initiation of syncing of the files. Even though he had other customers to handle he kept on top of each and every error that he ran into. A solution was found and the progress continued. At the end of each day he would send me an email stating how many hours and what problems he encountered. Well to make a long story short it did take three days to complete. His attitude and demeanor throughout the three days was well beyond my expectations. I was always greeted with a kind word and as the days passed by he never said or communicated an unprofessional attitude. I have been around this old world for a while and seen a lot of it while I was in the military. But I can't remember if I ever met or had dealings with an individual of Cyrus's caliber. Even though the process lasted a long time I felt like I got more than my monies worth. Even to the point where I felt good that the service provided to me was sincere. My hat is off to those who raised him and or was a mentor to him. Thanks Neat Company for having dedicated young men and women in your service.

This is the worst company ever . Dont even think about the get their scanner or their software . Its waste of time and money . You can store better in your computer or any other storage. ITs not separating the receipt the date and the amount always wrong ! you have to work on them one by one . After you do all the work End of the year surprise they dont give report more than 100 receipts ?? 100?? Poor customer service it took them forever to answer me they dont know their system Waste of time DO NOT GET it !!

I'm an old Neat customer who needed to come back... and the company no longer supports my desktop software. I felt the need to upgrade to their monthly pricing structure... and am not happy about that.

On the other side, a tech support guy named Myron was the best. He literally spent hours moving dozens of files over and getting my ancient scanner working the way he should. Great job, Myron.

I was about to give up on the Neat Company because I was so frustrated with trying to make my old Neat scanner work with their new software. Then Tia helped me out - spent a lot of time on the phone and on my computer remotely helping get things working and voila! I m up and running again and the new software is way better. Thanks Tia for your patience and perseverance with a not so tech savvy grandma.

Contacting The Neat Company Support was easy ! MarilouJ was very helpful & offerd to remotely access my pc to resolve the software problem. She erased all the old Neat files and then downloaded the updated software and drivers. She stayed with me until I tried scanning and saving my documents to my pc and Neat File Cabinet in the Cloud.

I just what to say that Ritz has Great Customer Service Skill. I was having trouble with setting up the Neat on my computer. Each time he had to get help from another dept. which he advised me he would have to call me back the next day. Ritz keep his promise each time until he was able to help me. I really appreciate his help from beginning to end. He also advised me, that if I needed help again it would be OK to contact him. Thank You Ritz for all of your help. This has been the worst experience in many years! Bought this scanner and the first time I called they put me on hold for 1 hour and 52 minutes... I actualy called on another phone and was on hold for 48 minutes, as well. I have tried to get this scanner (I bought the top of th line) to work and my questions answered to no avail. Every time I called I got a prson that spoke with broken english and accent and I couldn't make them understand what my issues were.
I still cannot get my questions answered or ANY tech support and am retunring multiple NEAT units. I have never never had such an issue with any product or service and I have spent hours hours on trying to get this resolved. This company will go bankrupt n doubt and I wonder what will happen to your info that you so call put in the "Neat Cloud"? RISKY and just read all the bad horrific reviews and comments before you purchase this product... you are bound to LOSE EVERYTHING

I had a big problem with my neat program and needed some major help. thank god for Mark A. He spent a lot of time figuring the issues with the program out and was able to save all my valuable data and records which I really could not afford to lose. All my important records were saved. This company is great. and the technician I had was amazing. The company has improved so much in the past couple years and i am so happy and thank full for their help and most of all the technician that saved me from what could have been a nightmare. I was having issues upgrading from an older legacy version to the new supported version of Neat. The tech, Ronn, went above and beyond to assist getting my old files synced, drivers on fir the Neat scanner I have and make sure I was up and running. It took a number of hour as I have a slow wifi in our 5th wheel.

The only concern I had was the email about pricing for basic package on new Neat program. It stated you get 4 months free and pay $10 a month. The current rate is $15 a month. They stated I got a discount after I complained but I believe the letter and link arei misleading.

I had a major problem with my legacy Neat 4.5 for Mac not syncing with the new web based program. I called the support center and after about 10 minutes was connected to a tech. She introduced herself as Dolly and asked how she could help. I explained what was going on and she responded that there were two ways to go in fixing this. The first was to try and get the two programs to sync. She asked if she could remotely connect to my computer and try to fix the problem, I said yes and she connected and tried multiple times but the sync wouldn t stay connected. So that meant the long and tedious route of having to import the files manually. As the session proceeded we lost phone contact so we had to communicate by chat. After almost two hours I said to her that I understood what she was doing and said that there were probably people out there that needed her help more than I did now and that she could stop. We had just scratched the surface of my 5000+ files. I asked if she could send a copy of the chat when we were done and she said she would as there was good information in it. I thanked her and we ended the session.
I didn t have very high expectations for a resolution to my problem as I read many reviews that stated Neat Support was very hard to contact and if I did get through they were not very good at fixing problems. Dolly put those reviews to shame. She far exceeded what I expected and did it pleasantly. As she was doing things she would text me some things to do and what not to do. Dolly and Neat get 5 stars from me. She because she knew exactly what to do and Neat for hiring someone with her caliber of skills and excellent customer service!!! If you need help from Neat, I hope you get connected to Dolly, she was AWESOME!!

Dolly was able to remote in and help solve my issues...I usually like to do myself with support talking me through but I was in a hurry and needed to get it taken care of. Dolly was very helpful and professional. I'm glad I let her take care of issue. This helped me make the decision to not cancel my subscription for NEAT. She helped me to review all the benefits of NEAT....the FAQs, tutorials, guides that are readily available....the Annual subscription is worth it.

My tech support person, Sarah, was helpful, patient, respectful and efficient. It took us several days to migrate my NEAT files from a MAC where I've been scanning documents for over 4 years to a Windows laptop where I prefer to work, going forward. While it was a grueling process, we got it done and I'm able to return the HP scanner I purchased to replace the NEAT. The other manufacturers do not provide the efficient organization system NEAT provides and I can't live without it!!

He was able to teach me the best way to use my scanner and we ended up buying another scanner which will work even better for my needs. I never would have known all this without Reginald's help. Legacy support for the desktop version of The Neat...

Legacy support for the desktop version of The Neat Company desktop software ended in 2016 and I just had to replace my hard drive. I installed the latest version but wasn't able to access my 16Gb database. Alvi spent a good deal of time and effort getting my database up and running. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful.
