I have been using the Neat program for many years. I am looking forward to using the cloud edition. Thank you Angelina for working with me. The training session was just what I needed to clarify everything.
Honestly I saw the Neat Legacy program in action and I was very impressed so I download the Neat Cloud version since that is what is being used. I will be cancelling my account because 95% doesn't really work or has bugs. I can't duplicate receipts, I can't generate reports. I had to download all the information and then recreate all the data inside of excel to generate things of use. In essence it was not much better than a scanner with the ability to attach spending info to. I can buy an app on my Ipad that works better than Neat for $10 with no monthly fee. There is no ability to adjust the columns in the report area. The column widths are two small to accommodation numbers bitter than 1000. The use of Taxes with when you select Canadian $$ doesn't maintain the separation of GST and PST. I could not turn off the verify receipt, consequently i used up all my free receipt verifications in my first 30 receipts. the list goes on. If they ever get it figured out I would pay the money gladly but I won't be paying full price for software that works at less than 50%
Mr Christian helped with an ongoing problem (every month or every two months) with Neat Receipt being prompted to file scan documents to hwPDFImage/Adobe Acrobat Document but hitting OK or Cancel gets locked and you will have to restart the program several times. Thank you for fixing the problem.
Superb handling with an older software problem. The agent who assisted me was very polite and had to jump through several hoops to get the job done.

The Neat product is absolutely amazing with such an user-friendly and intuitive interface, but their phone support, if it really even exists, is unbelievably inadequate.
As a paid Premium Subscriber I am still yet to get through by phone. I listen weekly to Bobby Lalvani gush about the phone service in his marketing webinar, which I may add was advertised to be educational for existing users.
Having said all that I received the best Chat/Live help I have had in many years by neattech+23. I hope the company rewards such service. I have never met anyone as determined to resolve an issue as he was. He couldn't resolve it that night on our lengthy live session but set up another chat for the next day. Yeah right I'm thinking, but he was there ready to keep chipping away at the problem. Watching how neattech+23 approached the problem and scour my 5,000+ records I was able to solve my own problem overnight. My next day Chat with him was a big thank you.

I have the NM-1000 scanner and had about 300 receipts scanned to desktop that wouldn t sync with the new online system/account. Technician, Christina remoted into my laptop, updated my system and migrated all my files over. Everything s working great now she is as amazing!

I called tech support and Angelina E. was so very patient with me. She asked for control of my laptop and that made everything so much easier. She had to uninstall and reinstall a few things. When it was time for me to test out the scanner, I put in 5 pages. It scanned so quickly that I inserted 10 more pages. I was so excited. I was thankful for her patience and the Neat System.

Leslie resolved my problem a hundred percent. She not only demonstrated her knowledge of the situation, and took time to update the software before going back to the problem. I appreciate her patience during the chat.
I cannot comment on the actual use of the system because when I created my account I have been locked out of it and when I try to contact somebody at the company I get nothing. I can only assume the company is just being run out of someone's basement. If you ever have a question just give up. You also need to pay for support sessions. Use this if you hate yourself and want to throw something out of anger. 10 out 10 would not recommend to a friend.

Great job! I was having a hard time connecting my neat scanner to my new Mac computer. Instructions were sent to me on how to up date the driver but I couldn t quite figure out how to do it. The representative was very helpful and patient with me and set up a time to log in to fix the issue himself. Everything is in perfect working order and it only took a few minutes. I have been using Neat for several years. Recently I began having problems. Most documents only had a . Dot for the name. So I had to retype most documents.
I went out and bought a new scanner set it up and had the same problem.
Lived with it for quite a while. Now I am constantly getting the message no paper detected ???????!!!!!!!
I bought another new scanner.
(I had to shop around to find one since several shops have stopped carrying them.)
Now they do not even give you a CD with software. You need to download.
Woe is it for anyone with out Internet.
I downloaded and installed. Went to open the program and I was forced to sine up to an online service, which I did.
When I went to open the program and none of my files were there. Then it crashed and closed.
Next time I was told there was an update
I downloaded and installed. Now whenever I open all I get is junk across the screen. It freezes up my computer and I have to force it to quit.
I tried calling support, which is impossible since there is no such thing.
Not possible to talk to a person.
It is obvious that corporate greed has taken over.
Save money by not hiring personnel to answer the phone.
Save money by not hiring support personnel.
Charging for support after a short time.
o Perhaps designing the software so these calls are necessary.
Force customers to signup on line and put their information at risk.
Force customers to use their system on line where they will have to pay.
No longer provide software with the scanner.
I have used the scanner for some time and it is no way perfect;
There is no way to edit the Vendor database. If you misspell or make an error, the error remains it the database forever.
There is no way to copy a setup (file structure) from one year to the next.
There is no way to copy this structure from one platform to another such as Windows to Mac or visa versa.
There is no multiuser capability.
And more.
I will be junking these scanners. Be warned.. Buyer Beware

I have been a NEAT user for several years and have been operating on the legacy software since the beginning. Recent events required me to replace my laptop and reload the software, hence the change to the cloud based system. The NEAT Technician (Alvi) took several days to reload and migrate all of my data from my backup hard drive. He did an excellent job in getting me back up and running, followed up with me each day to check on the progress and explained the process at each step. I Give Alvi "5 Stars" for his support and efforts to get me migrated!!
The reason for the 4 star overall is because I still have issues with using the software with my Mac. I currently use a windows PC to use NEAT which happens to be my work computer but my personal computer is a Mac which is still a problem after reloading the latest drivers and software.

Lud worked tremendously hard to set up my account over many hours. My account is not synced with all my historical information.
I've been using Neat Desk for many years. I would be buried in paperwork if I didn't have Neat to digitize my paperwork. I love it. Over the years I accumulated 4 different libraries and needed to combine these libraries and have them uploaded to the cloud. Mark A. at the Neat company helped me combine/upload all the documents. The process took 3 days but Mark worked diligently and did a fantastic job. Neat customer service is wonderful and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had upgraded my mac to high sierra and could not get my scanner to work. Ronn was very helpful. He did a remote access and it was fixed in a matter of minutes. Very friendly and nice with great manners. Would recommend him highly!
I had an issue with my older Neat scanner not duplexing. I contacted Neat support and the technician who helped me was exceptional. After an attempt to talk through the problem I was offered the option of a remote control session as being a faster way to resolve my issue. There were multiple problems that had occurred and each one was resolved. Throughout the session I was able to follow along and was offered a follow up call at the end. The total time to resolve was about 1 and a half hours. I would recommend Neat highly!

Customer service is impeccable, very good assistance and quality back up support. However the company looses a star to make it 4 star as support is offered Monday thru Friday from 9am tom 8pm Eastern Standard Time! To get a 5 star rating their should be a weekend service as well as 24 hour back up support line.
I would recommend The Neat Company . The program is great and saves a lot of time . But the best part of The Neat Company is the customer service . I had trouble loading Neat to my computer . I had a very helpful and professional person named Sarah walk me though the problem every step of the way . Although it was a long process to change the email address on our Neat software, we were always treated professionally and patiently. The tech never gave up on solving our particular problem. Unethical business, even if you do not use the service they will not release you from being charged. Terrible customer service. The scanner is constantly having issues. I highly recommend never using this company, there are too many choices that work far better.

I'm not at all happy with NEAT - I bought a piece of hardware and I'm being forced into purchasing a subscription service that I don't need. They seem to be way behind the curve with MAC OS. I just updated to Mojave and of course it doesn't work. NEAT - Please figure out whether you sell HARDWARE or Subscription services. If I'd know the products (I have 2 NEAT Scanners). would be obsolete in less than 2 years, I would have looked elsewhere.

Uploaded receipts vanish. The support number listed says that call volume is high please call back late and hangs up. Why even list a call number if no one answers?I had a trial but have decided not to continue. Software has a nice flow and the system is nice when it works.
OMG! The customer service at Neat is amazing!!! Let's just say that I am not text savvy. Despite that, Tia was very patient with me and helped me figure out how to use the scanner in the most efficient way possible. I have been using the Neat Scanner for years and it has saved me so much money because I have all of my receipts at my fingertips! The scanner is definitely worth the money and the added benefit of having access to great reps is indeed a bonus!
