Nice meal and friendly staff you can sit inside or on the deck. The view across to the ocean is lovely.
Before or after lunch you could then go check out Serenity Falls.

Just took the wife and myself for lunch today. We both had the Mediterranean salad and added the calamari too.
Could not fault the meal, just lovely, staff very friendly and service was excellent. Well done Buderim Tavern

Love this place! Great steaks, huge wine selection, beautiful views. And don't be scared if it looks busy - they're fast & friendly. Highly recommend alfresco area for a Sunday lunch

An old high school friend from Gympie High and I both had our 70th birthdays last week and decided a while ago to join up and celebrate our birthdays together at the Tavern last Saturday for lunch.
Lisa and Laura were very helpful and set up a very enjoyable luncheon for us and 80 of our families and friends.
The food quality and quantity was excellent and represented great value for the cost.
The service was very good especially considering we totaled 82 and chose from 4 different meals.
The venue is great (we use it a few times a year as it is central to Brisbane and Gympie while a number of us spend time on the Sunshine Coast these days)
We will be back for my wife's seventieth later in the year.

I had the chicken soecial it was raw . I couldnt eat it but i didnt want to complain because it was so busy

I have been going to Buderim Tavern every Tuesday for the last 8 years with
5 other mates, table 6 is always waiting. The Seniors Meal which we have is Excellent even includes soup or desert,
Which we always have the Desert,
The Staff are Wonderful and have become like Family, I Highly recommend the Buderim Tavern for your next Lunch or Dinner.

Face painting for the children was lovely idea, children's play area was great entertainment for them, beautiful views from the eating area day and night convenience of the BWS attached even better

Nice view and Good beer specials. Pint of great northern for 6 bucks was a bargain. Place was a bit dead which was wierd for a sunny Sunday afternoon. Also lots of reserved tables in the best sitting spots with no one there. Would be much better to put a time of reservation so othe r people can enjoy the view. Sat there for 45mins and no reservations came in.

Great steak, nice dining room and friendly staff. Ask for a seat near the window - we we're seated towards the back and didn't get to take in the whole view which was the only (very, very minor) downside of our evening at the tavern.

This place is a ripper. Very nicely refurbished hotel with great bar and good decent feed. Views are excellent.

Took my 87 year old father there for Father's Day Lunch. No "reserved" signs on tables so people would come in from back door and sit down. Didn't have a table ready so they had to scramble to arrange a table for five. Waited an hour for our lunch and my chicken was overcooked and cold. The waitress couldn't carry any more than two plates at a time so we had to wait for her to make three trips to the kitchen for our meals. Wouldn't recommend this venue when it is busy.

Had dinner with my mates on Friday night to watch the footy and had a ripper time! Thanks to everyone working the night, so lovely and the ribs were spectacular as always! Can t wait to come back

A real little gem. Great view, wonderful service, competitive prices and best of all SENSATIONAL food. Very rare to find such a great place.

Pretty similar to most Taverns on the coast nothing amazingly special. The food was good though and it is in a nice location.

Our favourite tavern on The Sunshine Coast. Great food, ambience and service. Kids friendly as well. The views are spectacular - book in advance for a table with a great view.

To overcrowded, crambed in like battery chooks, Took to Long to order, had to wait to Long for the food, very disappointed. The table wasn't ready for the Time we booked it.

We stopped in at the Tavern last night for a drink after an enjoyable night at the movies but sadly our enjoyable night out ended here. As we got to the bar, the male attendant didn't acknowledge us and when he finally did it was as if we were a burden and were interrupting what he was doing. We ordered our drinks and my friend was paying cash and was made to walk down to the end of the bar to collect her change as he didn't want to walk it back to her. At the end of the sale there was no thank you, no have a good night and still no smile. As we walked away I turned to my friend and said that a 'thank you would have been nice'. He heard this and rudely asked if I had a problem. I then proceeded to tell him that a Thank you would have been nice. He then muttered something under his breath and walked away. We quickly finished our drinks and left. I regularly go to the Tavern for drinks,entertainment,lunch,dinner but sadly I don't think I will be returning. I will be going somewhere I feel welcome (not a burden) and where I get a smile and most of all a THANK YOU.

Not enough to keep a craft beer lover interested... Need to diversify their offerings before I'd spend anymore money there...

I visited for lunch. They have an extensive, tasty menu. I thought some items were a little overpriced but still acceptable. The service was excellent and staff were both friendly and efficient. The best part of the experience though, has to be that glorious veiw of the southern Sunshine Coast panning from Kawana across Caloundra and the hinterland.

Waste of an awesome location.
This place was a real disappointment. Has great views, but is ruined by rude bar-staff, ridiculously priced counter meals ($28 for a chicken risotto).
But mainly it's the management and staff. I advised staff the handtowels had run out in the gents, only to go back in 90minutes later to find they hadn't bothered restocking them.
My partner had to switch cubicles to find toilet paper, reported to staff, response: "you can use the toilets on the other side of the facility, the cleaners won't be in until the morning"!!!
All in all, a sad, unpleasant venue to visit.

A rare night out with friends was ruined by a Barman with attitude who decided to ignore us and give us a large serve of attitude. We complained to the manager and he was not helpful at all, v disappointed!!!!!!

Excellent food, service & staff. 11 of us dropped in while in the area for the day. Food was served quickly with all meals coming out in succession so none was left waiting. The steak was one of the best I've had, it was cooked to perfection & just melted in my mouth.

My husband and I had dinner at this venue and I cannot fault our experience. The tavern has such a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service with amazing views of the coast. Cannot wait for our next date night at Buderim Tavern! Thank you!

Lovely food, beautiful views, the staff are excellent.

As a pub it hit the mark, as a steak house it falls short, I don t mind paying for quality but the food produced is far from what the menu promotes. However there is little other options on the coast for a steak.

Top spot in a top location on the top of Buderim. Wall to wall glass windows with a fantastic view of the coast. You won t find a better spot to sit, enjoy a meal & a beverage. The seniors meal is good value. Highly recommend

Waited one and a half hours to be served, was dissapointed with the meal when it finally arrived.

Steak sanga is a lifesaver, and the iced drinks are awesome

We hired the function room. Food was on time, well made and catered for dietary well. Views from the function room was fantastic, staff were friendly.

Don't order the chicken supreme as it doesn't come with prosciutto as per their menu and to top it off there was no apology for the discrepancy prior to serving it last night! Did you think we wouldn't notice????? I'd expect to be told of the change by the staff prior to receiving the dish but instead I had to point it out to them. And to make matters worse, was offered bacon instead.....the COOKS are so STUPID that they don't know the difference! The menu states CHICKEN BREAST WRAPPED WITH PROSCIUTTO not CHICKEN BREAST WITH BACON ON THE SIDE! Didn't even try to make me happy by offering a free soft drink which I also pointed out to the young girl would have been a way of improving customer relations. She then offered it but damage was done. Your staff do not think on their feet.
In addition, the order of battered fish and chips were inedible! Frozen fish, extra oily batter (cooked in cold oil) and partially raw! Mmm mmm, if this is how you like it....NOT us!
Seriously they need cooking and customer service lessons, this place deserves negative 5 stars.

Buderim Tavern. Great food, excellent dessert, very helpful and friendly staff. All this with a window seat and a magnificent view.

Never again. Steaks are over priced and never cooked right. The last 2 visits we have sent meals back. Steaks come out dry and all well done even when asking for rare. The over all vide there is mot bad and the view is amazing but that's probably the only thing that the place has going for it. Other friends who have eaten with us have also been disappointed as well. Oysters have been a regular issue. I won't be eating here again nor will I recommend it. Head to the waterfront hotel, there you can get a lunch steak for $17 and they know how to cook it just the way you want it.

Very friendly staff despite the fact COVID-19 is going on .I commend them for being on the front line and continually smiling.

Service was good but the alcohol is expensive and the duck confit was terrible

A fantastic venue with lovely atmosphere from log fires and views across the coastline. However it was a shame the meals weren't a match. Fish of the day was only average with a uncooked scallop and prawn skewer disappointing given it wasn't a cheap pub meal. My steak was cooked to a medium well instead of the medium as requested and quite thin. It was disappointing that the meals did not really match the quality of the venue.

Lovely pub with views. It's a family place more to the left but to the right is quieter. The food is great and service is really good. Try the steak or salt and pepper calamari

Bought a $42 Wagyu steak it was chewy cooked at medium rare just not good enough very poor

Awesome food at a very reasonable price. Staff are always friendly and go above and beyond to ensure your time there is a much enjoyable one.

Great place for the kids to play while you sit and relax, enjoy the views and a drink or two.
