Stood in line for 15 minutes to order the $33 lunch special only to be told it will take more than an hour to come out...... CYA. We're going to red rooster

Have always had good food at the Buderim Tavern. Like most pubs on the coast owned by the big chains, maybe a little overpriced for pub food, but meals are always a good size and well prepared. Service can be a bit slow on weekends - weeknights are better. Great views at lunch time, and nice cozy fire if you're there at night in the winter.

We were able to hold the perfect wedding reception thanks to the staff here. Food and views were particularly great!

Great views and an amazing host! My family and I were walk-in guests over the weekend, we weren't sure if a table would be available but the lady who greeted us, Sheree was beyond helpful and organised! Overall quite a busy venue, but well worth the visit with the excellent service we had received! Will be back again for my next family visit.

No vegan options at all, had to modify the one vegetarian dish, which was pretty good but overpriced.

We had our engagement party here and wow!
The WHOLE staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and we had everything we needed.
The bar girls were sooooo friendly and the food was AMAZING!!
I will be recommending this tavern to everyone and will be going back here A LOT!
If you re after a place that is not only VERY affordable but confortable, friendly and has delicious food, you should definitely go here.
You won t regret It!!

Disappointed with the meals all round, steak was not tender, seafood catch over battered. Expected better for the price. Service was good. Atmosphere nice.

quite overpriced for what you get for it in my opinion. Service was ranging from poor to very good depending on who you got.

Breakfast looked beautiful but was cold. Drinks need to come with esks not half hour wait for food plates awful using knife and fork on the like fingernails down a blackboard classic white dinnerware never dates no matter what service was good thank you

once upon time food was acceptable.but now its atrocious quality.
A vegetarian friend was very upset at the lousy quality salads an especially the cost.

Public relations officer presenting environmental friendly bag from fund's from Mooloolaba Lions Fisherman's Road Market that is our major fundraiser to the mayor Mark Jamison sunshine coast council. I was attending 4556 chamber of commerce meeting in which the mayor was speaking at.

Very disappointed today and last time i was there i got wrong order should have sent it back chips were cold and why o why is the salad always swimming in dressing.Awful thats why i ordered a pasta dish today but never got it.Last time i was there i ordered the special lobsyer mornay i had to use a spoon to dig it out of the body. Salad same again swimming in dressing Why cant they serve it in a small container on the side.I know what your going to say (go to a restaurant ).Have been eating in pubs for a long time they had better meals then and they were cheaper.By the way im not complaining about the price as such but for what we are paying i think it needs to get better Actually i complained the last time to the girl who served me the lobster but of course she may not have passed on my message to the chef.But would he have taken any notice. Very disappointed in the Tavern have lived here for 10 yrs know a lot of friends who have complained as well. WOULD definitely pay more for better meals. By the way cant fault the staff maybe just some of the chefs.

Great Family venue to celebrate a birthday or hold a conference. Today we had a quiet dinner and it was delicious. They make great steaks
I fully recommend their rump 300grm.

Wedding reception was awesome.. Staff were superb..Laura the MD was without peer ...would recommend to anyone...although more free drinks for the MC would be considered favorably hahhaa

Meals to a party of six arrived over the course of an hour and a half. Poorly managed.

Terrible..waited 2 hours for meal..meal was terrible and previous visits food was terrible too..only restaurant I've wanted to send meal back!! Don't bother!!

Mothers Day at the Tavern. Very busy, I have had better food, but realise they were so busy. Service was great and the wait wasn't to bad. Will go back on a day not so busy next time.

Smelly kids room, unsupervised jumping castle, no security, substandard meals. Boooo!!!

Always guaranteed a great steak. Good quality steak with the best ever carder salad.
Fantastic service and chefs cook the steak perfect. Great for families and singles.

The food is absolutely fantastic, some of the best steaks around. Friendly service, although the only downside is that when busy it can be quite a wait for the food. Maybe order an entree.

Steak is "eh". Not worth $30.
Only ate half our wedges and my pasta, asked for take out containers and was refused. "We can't do that here...". Went to the woolys next door and got my own damn containers to take my food home. While i was gone they were trying to hurry my husband off our table.
BYO takeaway containers people. Food (besides the steak) isn't bad at all but won't be returning after that.

A great place to have dinner, bring kids or just relax. The quality of the food and the service is outstanding. A nice view over to the coast also. There is ample parking at the front or round the back.

We had the most amazing experience.. The staff were absolutely fantastic.. Nothing was a problem.. Unforgettable views and excellent food.. They do an ok steak and the view is impressive but it's part of a large chain so it should be a little cheaper with the buying power they have

Great food, friendly staff, the kids area is great.

My daughter took me to lunch for my birthday. We ordered the seafood platter for 2. Cost $130.oo. There were Moreton bay bugs, oysters, prawns, scallops w' bacon, battered fish, calamari, chips and salad. We found the bugs and prawns lacked flavour. The table next to us ordered this platter as well and I noticed that their salad had components that ours didn't have. I was told it depends who dresses the plates. I would have thought at a $130.oo there would have been more consistency. Fortunately, my daughter works for the company and therefore our lunch was discounted. Personally I didn't see the value at full price. Despite my opinion the seafood was fresh and enjoyed nonetheless. We chose a lovely Pino Gris to have with lunch. Expensive at $40 a bottle. It's a busy tavern and very popular. Views down to Caloundra especially gorgeous on a clear day. Would I go back? Of course I would.

This tavern caters for all. From kids to grannys and the food is awesome. They even have a menu for seniors.

From lousy service to luke warm steak and an endless wait for coffee. Have had some interesting meals here but never this bad. Will never be back. So many lovely places to dine on the coast with much better service and hot meals.

Signature steak dish was yum. Be sure to book in advance.

Went here for the UFC. Plenty of seating and big TV. The only trouble was getting service at the bar. It was understaffed. When the UFC was over we ended up going somewhere else for food and drink.

We attended with Suncare, an elderly group of people and were ushered to the large table at the back of the room. The chairs were so close together it was impossible to get in. When I pointed this out to the lady in charge she said that this is the way it is and nothing could be done. Her attitude was disgraceful. These people are very elderly and need consideration. I myself removed one of the chairs and placed it elsewhere so that enough space could be made to get us in. My views are that they only care about the money and not the comfort of customers. We were a large group spending quite a significant amount and will be reluctant to return.

Nice building good views nice layout. Poor service . 45 min wait for food after ordering . Ordered cocktail list there did not know what the drinks was. Sorry to say verry poor service

Tayla was very helpful in assisting me to sort out a room for my father's Wake, nothing was too much trouble, the setting was lovely, we didn't have to pay for decorations - we oculd just focus on remembering our Dad and celebrating his life. Thank you very much
