This place is a must see if your coming near Panola county. If you are a country music fan you know how much of the genre is rooted in Texas. They have a nice collection of most all Texas artists you would like to see represented.
Great place to spend a couple hours and learn about country music and musicians from Texas
Good fun, great music! About 35 young talented Country artist! My friend Cody Alexander did a great job! Very nice, educational, celebrate Texas Musicians! Nice displays! Very clean, beautiful!

The Texas Country Music Hall of fame is a surprising little gem for country music fans. There are several Texas legends on display. I must admit that my favorite part was being able to play music on the jukebox while looking at the well planned display cases. Overall it was a fun stop on our road trip.
Great place to visit a must to see. If you have seen it add it to your bucket list.
The States was great the service was great right atmosphere
Can walk through at your pace.not on a schedule. People friendly
So much more than we expected! They have an extraordinary collection...many country music stars have been inducted.
That was a wonderful day. The lady at the Museum was really nice and helped us with a wheelchair.
Spent an enjoyable morning here. Scherry and Martha were wonderful guides, a font of info for local must-sees and a pleasure to chat with. Will return and recommend to others
It was wonderful Wish I could have stayed longer
If you love Texas Country Music, then this is a must see. The displays are interesting and it's a self guided tour so you can take your time. They even have a free jukebox that plays music of the inductees. The gift shop is also worth a look as well.
Very interesting Museum. Unfortunately not all parts were operational when we visited. Probably due to covid-19 pandemic.
Interesting for country music lovers with lots of Texas singers on display.
Lots of nostalgia! My 89 year old father really enjoyed the juke box. A great way to spend some time reminiscing days of ole!
Great museum dedicated to country music with an awesome event venue
A great Venue if the staff would not walk back and forth in front of you while the show is going on!!!!
Oh my gosh! I was impressed! Found out things I didn't know about country music. Had a 7 year old with me and almost had to drag her out of the place. She was hooked on the jukebox! Very informative visit!
Very informative , clean, staff friendly n helpful, The price is good . If you're interested in Country musicians You should visit this place. My husband and I enjoyed it
$10 for adults. My service dog doesn't like statues so I wasn't able to go inside.
Amazing little find.
We had a great time learning alot about many country artists we still listen too.
The young lady at the gift shop was super kind and was also our quick tour intro guide.
Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. ;)
Must see if you're in Carthage! I learned so much here and the staff really is the best! Make sure you pick some songs on the free JukeBox!
It has been over a year the last time I was here. I forgot the closing time. I enjoyed it with my family. Will have to come back. Anyone that loves music should come.
This place is SUPER KOOL ! Got all my favorite country singers & my number one Willie & Waylon !
Great place and history of Texas. Come and check it out for yourself.
Great experience. A lot more memorabilia than we ever expected for a small town museum. Very nice and informative tour as well.
I really did not know what to expect but decided to visit and find out, since I was passing through. I planned to spend no more than an hour, but I found it hard to leave about 2 hours later. You have to enter through the gift shop, sign in and wait for Rhonda to begin the tour. She is the perfect person to manage this place because she has a very outgoing personality and embodies the hospitality one would expect for a museum like this. She has worked here for a long time and is very knowledgeable.
She provided some history behind the organization and showed us around briefly but then allowed us to finish the tour on our own pace. She also allowed us to take pictures. I could have stayed there much longer and will stop by again when I am in the area.
If you are a country music fan and interested in the people behind the music, this is a great place to visit.
Who knew so many country music stars are from Texas?? I loved that the museum is in Carthage, TX as it makes it even more welcoming. The displays were excellent and I learned so much about the Texas impact to Country Music.
