Fantastic hotel excellent choice for food rooms on fourth floor are excellent

Super dream vacation with a sublime view of the sea, multiple restaurants and bars, quality service, beautiful room, large swimming pool (a little cool) and evening entertainment.
The only problems are that there are no staff who speak French, but the shuttle is not practical in English to go to Rodes.
I strongly recommend that you hire a car people drive well.

This is the 4th time we have been to Rhodes but first time at this hotel and can we just say this hotel is a level above the others we stopped at .
What ever you do dont let the 4 * put you off dont get me wrong it does have its faults but in a whole we had a fantastic 2 week holiday and will definitely be back same time next year . The alacarte restaurants are fantastic with never having a bad meal and felt special at every one .The idea of being able to eat alacarte every night is a special plus for us and the alacart breakfast in cove is class with lovely freindly staff ( thanks Anna ) along with 2 dinner time 3 course alacarte choices . The (F &B) manager was very plesent & freindly also and lucky on the main bar .A personal thanks to Mario (guest relations )for soting the restaurant bookings for us .
Now for my own down sides of the holiday .
First of all the Olympic pool is advertised as adult due to the depth .But there was more kids in it than the other 2 kids pools and some times became rather loud with music and kids screaming .
Second a shortage of plastic glasses round the pool so sometimes had to have small water fountain cups (tiny).
Animation team was the worst I have ever seen it would be better with none rather than what was there .
Evening entertainment was average and some better than others .
The Greek and italian and Asian & tapanyaki restaurant area was a well designed area and felt like you was at a real greek taverna and was a lovely seting for your evening meal A**** in every way .We look forward to next year really cant wait looking to book ASAP .
So to sum this holiday it was one of the best hotels a long with great service. Fantastic plesant staff in the most beautiful settings and lay out .With great / sorry fantastic food and branded drinks .

Great location as it is right on the beach and is quite a quiet and removes location despite only being a 10 minute drive and 6 dollar Uber from the buzz of South Beach. Incredible ocean views from our room. The only problem was the lock to our balcony doors broke twice during our 5 night stay which is very shoddy. The maid was also very stingy at replacing the toiletries. Overall would recommend though.

Excellent hotel, perfect welcome (English, French). The hotel staff is smiling, attentive and all efficient. The rooms are clean. Excellent week stay, at the top!

Everything it said it was and more staff there were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you from the cleaners up to the management. Made our holiday that bit more special. Thank you eden roc

The resort was nice with clean rooms as well as kind staff too. Everything was amazing however there were some safety issues inside. Near the pool tables inside there were plants which had been over watered, and this caused a large puddle of water surrounding the plants, due to the cream coloured floor this was extremely difficult to notice. My mother slipped on this and fractured her coccyx. This is a HUGE safely concern and I'd highly recommend against this hotel for this reason.

This is by far the best hotel you could wish to stay in. We are still enjoying our time here. From the moment we booked in at 03:00 in the morning of the 12th all the staff have really made us most welcome. What a surprise when we arrived they had upgraded us to suite.
We are here to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. The hotel manager George introduced himself to us when we're having a meal one night. During the conversation he asked our names and since then he has remembered them. To me this shows he cares about his holidaymakers.
Another night we witnessed his assistant Marco giving a high five to a chef.
The hotel is very clean and staff work very hard. This even stretches down to the beach manager. The beach is shingle and not very big but if he sees a sunbed being used not by someone staying at Eden Roc he makes them move.
I would score this hotel ten stars, and gaurentee we will be back.

stayed in july with my teenage son had a lovely holiday . great hotel lovely staff stayed in room 202 which was very good . good location for going out and about .all staff we met very nice and helpful. we have booked again for next july hope to get same room thank you to george and everyone x

Was there 33 years ago with brother and mother. The pool and beach felt again. Then there was nothing on the way to the clubb 33 hotel which must have been just the great Sunving hotel.

Good food, nice beach, friendly service in bars. Cleaning can be but ladies are probably overworked.

This is a tough one. I'd rather say 3.5 stars. The hotel is fine, but it wasn't the perfect fit for our family. It has some things for kids, but it's demographic seems to be more retirement age groups.
I've been to better and worse places in the same price range, and while it is labeled as a 4 star resort, I'd say that is what it used to be. It's getting older in some areas and should be careful as to not to lose its current rating.

4 only because I don t know what number of rooms, because rested in the neighboring hotel Amilia mare. The territory is beautiful, the sea view is just chic. Water slides for children. The rooms, both in the main building and in the bungalow. Pools with sea views. handsomely

Eden roc really did a great job of re-opening, the night we got their was only their first day open so there was some initial concerns but by the time we got up the next morning the staff were working really hard to get all the bars, pools and restaurants open, the beach bar was our favourite spot, Raphael was amazing always making us laugh and damitriz was also a great bartender. The buffet was nice and there was an option to book into one of the 4 restaurants on an evening which was great but book as soon as you can as can t always get availability, the app was also very useful. Hotel is really close to Rhodes town 13 in a taxi. Would highly recommend for couples an family holidays.

Very good hotel. The pictures and descriptions on the website are absolutely true to reality.
The food is versatile, and if you like Greek food comes at its expense, only the fries with Chickennugets customers have to hold something stealthy at the children's buffet.
The bookable specialty restaurants also provide variety.
The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The reception is always at your disposal for information and help with bookings.
The hotel is located near Rhodosstadt most excursions start from there and are easy to reach by taxi or bus.
We spent two perfect holiday weeks here, and will definitely book again.

Nice hotel, good food and entertainment - ok. Didnt like having to get up and join the 'herd' if i wanted the sniff of a sunbed at 7.30am - when did the brits become like the germans , its puts us to shame, and before you read and agree with this - you do it too !!! When this hotel is at full capacity i dread to think what its like .

Great hotel with a large area and beautiful design. The food in the restaurants is outstanding, as you can use an on-site app to make reservations it is also very convenient. It is strictly ensured that the hotel's own beach is only used by guests, which I found very pleasant. I finally paid for the beach chairs and the area. You can get car hire directly at the front desk and go on your own tour. The natural beaches are not to be despised! We drove half an hour to the south of the island and had a wonderful beach day. There is a lot of space in the hotel and also many offers, the children can perceive why the parents can also turn off. We were very satisfied with the hotel and will definitely be back sometime.

So myself and my friend booked this hotel at a very good price for all inclusive. We didn't really want to eat in much but thought we would save money on drinks and snacking through the day. On arrival there is a very large lobby which is very clear with a champagne bar , which my friend loved the rooms are very good and clean. The food in the main restaurant is average, what you'd expect for a 4*, however there other restaurants which you can book into, turned out that they was all that good that we ate at the hotel most nights, you have to try the sushi bar.. it is to die for. The hotel is on the beach which is also nice.. the hotel is really good for the money, I would come back for a week again!

Extra staff, super friendly and always attentive. Well equipped rooms and great views of the balconies. Meals of good quality and always in good quantity, but prefer the restaurants to reservation rather than the buffet.
The location of the hotel is a bit far from Rhodes, but the buses make the connection in 30min and for 2 .

Rested in August 2018. The sea is clean, calm with a strong gusty wind from the shore, the water periodically becomes cool, not interesting, no living creatures. The beach is a small pebble with some kind of dust, like cement (everything will be in this white dust), the entrance is good, there is a shower, a cabin for changing clothes. There are places with umbrellas on the lawn - relax zone. Aqua-entertainments are actively working on the beach, they ride on pillows, water skiing, catamarans, a pleasure boat goes under the tent with a transparent bottom for 1 hour. Rooms in the bungalow (without a pool) - everything is old- furniture, mattresses, pillows, plumbing. But everything works and is quiet in the evening away from the animation. In the bathroom of cosmetics only shower gel and a tiny soap. We need funds from mosquitoes. Sometimes huge cockroaches crawl 3cm. In all rooms on the balconies there is no place to hang a swimsuit to dry, everyone hangs their towels and linen on the chairs. The hotel is focused on a la carte meals, constantly reminding you to enroll in any of the 6 restaurants. On a buffet, you won't be hungry either. The dishes in the restaurant are dirty. The bus stop is far away, even on a short path through the beach and the neighboring hotel. In Rhodes it is better to go by taxi 10 min., 10 . By bus 20 min. plus his expectation, 2,40 per person. At the reception, dear young lady Roxana in Russian will be happy to answer and help with all questions.

Very nice hotel with excellent choices for food. Not a children's place though , more for mature members of society

Classic beach hotel, several pools and bars, nice bungalows, clean, with courteous staff. Conveniently located to Rhodes Town, once a day shuttle bus. Mostly all inclusive ribbon guests

Hotel very nice. Good food varied. Beautiful beach with small pebbles. Unfortunately, I do not recommend bungalows. They need renovation. Cockroaches appeared on our ground floor several times. After the intervention someone from the service came to do disinfection. This incident very discouraged us to this place.

Had a meal at one of the restaurants. Put McDonald's to shame. Waitress brought main course out whilst we were still eating first course and tried to take my wife's plate away with food still on it and knife and fork in her hands. Now that's fast food. Disgusting service. Had to complain.

Great location. Not a lot of food choice but what was there was good. Bathroom needs to be replaced as it was tired and grubby. Bar staff at the main bar could be friendlier. Staff at other areas were excellent, especially George at the champagne bar and the girl at the cocktail bar and also Rafael at the beach bar. Entertainment was some of the best, thanks to Dani and the animation team.

Nice hotel with good facilities. Pool area is lovely. Beach is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a really good time here. Kids loved it too. All inclusive food and drinks are ok with a good choice. Rooms are fairly big and depending on where you are have good views. I would recommend.

The best hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. The facilities, staff, food, bars, restaurants, beach, and ever other factor of this place are outstanding.
While staying I had the unfortunate experience of falling ill (nothing to do with food or water here), however after calling a doctor to the room the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure I still had an amazing time. I can absolutely say I did.
A positive of falling ill was that I also got to meet the hotel manager George Vassilopoulos who personally made sure I was on the mend. I've never met someone more accomadating, funny and genuinely lovely. If you get a chance to stay at this first in class hotel make sure you meet its first in class manager.

One dropped out because I had to wait for the room so long that he started to get tired

Very good staff and moderate main canteen but very crowded pool areas with insufficient sunbeds tired rooms but the Italian restaurant shone like a star cooking wise.

We will not be back ... Better three than four stars, sewer smell in the so-called "suite" - and be careful with so-called "upgrades"!

It always depends on what you expect, but with four stars the quality should be much better in many places than we found it.

The short version:

What was good: - The hotel is located on a beautiful gravel bay with clear water

- For the most part, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

- The newer bungalows at the end of the complex with their own pool can be recommended

What wasn't good:

- The hotel is old and you can't really recommend any rooms in the main building. At least if you expect four stars ...

- The breakfast buffet is incredibly varied but the quality is mediocre to poor (see below)

- Pool loungers are partly rusted through or torn.

- The toilet facilities to the main restaurant have felt no renovation since the 70s and are presented accordingly.

- Old beds and mattresses and windowless bedrooms in the "suites".

- Sockets hang loosely from the wall.

- Joints in the bathrooms (also in the bungalows) mostly moldy.

- Musty smell in the bathroom

- Septic tank smell in the bedroom

The long version:

We had reserved a bungalow with a pool view. Since we were due to arrive late at night with two small children, I called again the day before to make sure that we were expected at reception. This was kindly confirmed to us and we were even informed that we should get an upgrade to a pool suite (i.e. ground floor and with private pool access). So we were full of anticipation. Upon arrival we were happily allocated a "suite" on the fourth floor. When asked what happened to the bungalow, the gentleman said with a smile, "First go upstairs and take a look at the suite. And then tell me if it is not great". It wasn't great ... The so-called "suite" consisted of a windowless bedroom that, with the sliding door closed, didn't even let the air conditioning be felt. The children were given ancient beds with mattresses that were so old that the springs pushed through. Sockets hung loosely from the wall, the bathroom was musty, musty and the joints were moldy almost everywhere. The beautiful view over the bay didn't really help ... The next morning I wanted to have a look at the bungalows to check this "upgrade". I am amazed that they have moved us to the main house because of the children. That would be more pleasant if they didn't have to walk so far in the evening. I insisted on seeing the bungalows, but was put off until I gave up. On the morning of the fourth day we were awakened by a bestial stench that seemed to come from the floor or walls of our bedroom. The problem seemed to be known, because this time we got a change of room without any problems - namely the originally promised pool suite.

From then on it was a completely different vacation ... The rooms here were bright and friendly, the neighborhood was quiet and friendly and of course the access to the pool was great!

Still, we won't be back. The very lavish and varied breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired at first glance, but the quality is unfortunately anything but 4-star. What flows out of the old giant machine really can't be called coffee, orange juice is a syrup with an orange flavor dissolved in water and the scrambled eggs and meat products are unfortunately not really edible. On the other hand, we liked the regional products (yoghurt, halva, olives, mbougatsa, etc.).

Fantastic hotel on the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food served in three restaurants.

General facilities luxurious. Hotel room good mid-level, but on the floor with fine sand. Otherwise, cleaning was working flawlessly. Beach and pools are good. Seawater basins first experience, but we liked it. Dinner at the buffet restaurant noisy and chaotic. It is advisable to make table reservations for other hotel restaurants upon arrival. Effortless vacation and friendly service. Special thanks to the kids club Erika!

Old hotel, rooms are average and the maintenance limited ... The benefits are correct. If you have the means, choose the bungalows that are newer ...

No doubt the place was nice, room was clean. But I thought not able to flush toilet paper was unhygienic specially at their public toilets. Food was ok.

Hotel redone, patched. Canteen food. Disgusting beach. Perfect for the beaufs on vacation! Whole herds! Entertainment of the 3rd age, a line of 20 minutes for a drink. Everything closes at 23:30. Short rotten holiday, I will have better to torch with the dough! Angry and taken hostage! A beautiful tourist trap! To flee.

Absolutely great all inclusive, not much outside of hotel within walking distance. Nikos in the upgraded rooms bar is absolutely a lovely man, nothing too much trouble. Also enjoyed our chats with Iannis the lifeguard. We stayed in the upgraded rooms which were out of this world so, unable to comment on main hotel, food and drink 2nd to none.

This is a very good hotel , the pools are perfectly suitable for children, the seawater pool is huge.
The beach, the deckchairs and the bars are at the top
Regarding restaurants, there is something to have fun.

Four of us arrived shortly after 11 in the hotel. At first glance, the hotel seemed very nice, a great facility, right on the sea. However, we wanted to sit in the evening a little to the Poolbaar and we were told that the all inclusive offer only until 23:30, that is drinks we could forget. In addition, the staff can hardly speak English and German scvonmal not at all. From the room aimd we also very disappointed, as it is very small and not really nice. I think it's a pity, considering how much money we spent on this vacation.

Top qality service, friendly staff, diverse and tasty food, family frendly resort

I can recommend this hotel, the staff are so welcoming / personally interested, they have activities in the morning (pool training, basketball / handball, and yoga show one soothes it a little later in the day until evening dw usually have a show, for both just and adults, easy and get to the city center by taxi or bus, located between Rhodes town and
Faliraki about 15 mins away, recommend and take a boat trip to Lindos which you can take from the beach area,

Very good hotel just by the sea. Many restaurants and bars. Near the airport in Rhodos. Two pools with sea water and two with normal. Incredible view from pool. Very tasty food. Many italian and british guests. Great view on the sea.
