Lucky to get one star besides all the rude staff, messing up one of our meals then coming and dumping it on the table with half the stuff missing from the salad, yeah won't be back.

I would like to commend Morgan on her amazing customer service, she went to the next level in recommending dishes for our vegan guests. All the food was amazing!

A very large tavern serving good food at reasonable prices. The staff are friendly, service is good and the main room overlooks Sippy Downs, a great panoramic view.

This used to be a popular choice to take our family for lunch and dinner. We recently booked for a family dinner and we had the worst experience. The bar staff are Extremely rude and the tavern is poorly managed. Ruined our family dinner outing.

Great view but the food is a bit 'hit & miss'. Have eaten there three or four times. Stick to the steak. $35 for half a lobster, with a bit of melted cheese on top, served on a plate full of chips is ridiculous. But don't give the restaurant supervisor any constructive criticism about it or you'll just get the stank eye. There are plenty of great eateries on the Sunshine Coast so we won't be returning to the Tavern.

Good food but a bit over priced. Service was great and the folks that work there are very nice.

Me. Fillet was a tad tuff and the end undercooked but OK I suppose. Not worth the $32 price

My go to place for a decent steak, I am yet to find somewhere that compares, affordable too. The steak menu is vast, with something for every steak lover. Each steak option is on display to help you decide what to have. For those that don't enjoy steak, there's plenty else to choose from. Trust me you won't go hungry.
The bar has a fair selection of tap beers and bottled.
Staff are generally friendly and there's a kids play room to give you some peace.
The standout feature of this restaurant is the view overlooking Mooloolaba and Kawana. At night is gets better. Best to get a reservation and grab a window seat.

Consistently great food and service, and plenty of activities for the kids - particularly like the free face painting on weekends. Proud to call this place my local!

Found the prices high for a tavern. I can see they are trying for restraunt, but at the end of the day, it's still a tavern.

Great view! If you're seated inside near the windows that run the whole length of the hotel you get an amazing view.
Sitting outside is nice too and theres a nice setting on a raised deck out there for a social drink.
Bouncy castle for the kids along with a play room that has movies a bubble machine and games they can play (like donkey kong).
The kids menu is good value @ $9.
Their food is ok a slight overhaul on this menu wouldnt go a stray, bit bland.
The general adults menu is in my opinion a bit pricey for a tavern.. BUT. The food was great!
I had a pumpkin and duck risotto and the quality and portion size was great.

There is a large gaming room with heaps of strobes and neons and brain triggers to allure you into that trap, which is open until 4am.

They have self service keno and counter service. An atm that costs $2.50 to use or you can cross the road to the atms.

In a separate wing is all your tab needs and and separate bar.

There is a big function room which I've never been in.

Also around 3 smoking areas I believe.

It's not well signposted but there is a car park around the back with heaps of parks.
But if you're old or lazy or unfit you'll struggle with the stairs.

All n all I like this tavern.
I've lived locally for a year now so my review is based on many visits and I've edited it to increase my rating from 4 to 5 stars :)

Meal and service was good. It would have been better if they gave us a table big enough to fit four adults and their plates plus glasses. We did book so it wasn't a last minute decision to go there.

Foods ok views are spectacular especially if a storm is about. It s a tavern

I don't live here but met a friend here for lunch. The food was amazing & the atmosphere is alive & vibrant, yet pleasant. The staff were noticeably very friendly & service was punctual.

Cake and coffee yum and great views..however..the waitress..rude. grumpy...almost spoiled the morning!!

We've been coming here for years. The staff are lovely, the food is amazing, and the kids always have a great time. A magnificent outlook to the pacific ocean and mountains - night or day the setting is unsurpassed. I have also previously organised work functions here - top shelf again! Thanks

We have been to Buderim tavern a few times now and the food is great and staff are friendly and accommodating.

For some stupid reason we were not aloud to take the food, we rightfully had paid for, away in a takeaway container. Even if we provided our own container, we couldn't take it home. This is ridiculous.

Service was OK, has a nice view and stylish interior. However food was appalling, cheap and tasteless, we had three dishes and sent them all back after trying them. If you're into good food, this isn't the place for you, all seemed like frozen oven food. Go to the supermarkets and buy yourself food from the freezer section, I'm sorry to say it would be better than the food at this tavern.

Further to this post, I have emailed the address you have provided and heard nothing back in over a week. This was pretty typical.of how our complaint was handled on the day, just ignored.

You shouldn't tell someone to email you and not follow up. Seems like it was just for the benefit of social media and the bad review.

The lady who seats people was insanely rude, as someone in a wheelchair, when i am talking to her, she replied only to my carer, walked away from us mid talk and she was the least professional human I've ever met. I've rarely been treated so poorly but she ruined an entire family meal and trip considering i came from Victoria to QLD to visit family and have a good time. Food was okay, but shocking experience with the head female seater. Never coming back clearly and have let everyone know not to bother if they value their self worth.

Great food very friendly accommodating staff. Would really recommend it.

Buderim Tavern is a great place to dine. My friends and I had the Seniors meals and they were all delicious, fresh and value for money. All the staff are friendly and helpful, especially Lisa, who was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Lisa s customer service skills were absolutely wonderful and made for a very enjoyable dining experience.

Beautiful location and lovely staff, unfortunately I can't say the same about the food. I've never returned an order or complained about a meal before but what was served up was far below what you would expect for the money.

I ordered a steak that was to be cooked medium rare. It came out well done, dry and chewey.
My wife ordered the lasagna. It came out completely undercooked, in fact it was cold.

To their credit they brought out another steak that was cooked much better and refunded the money for the lasagna.

But when you're paying 40 odd dollars for the steak and 20 or so for the lasagna over cooked steak and cold lasagna shouldnts leave the kitchen.

Incredible view, its always busy on the weekends and they have the place sectioned off well so that you can go have a game of pool and watch the footy or sit in peace and eat dinner with your family.

My daughters dinner of fish and chips was inedible.

Service was excellent. We asked for a seat near the window and got it. Wonderful views. Food came within 10 minutes. Food was hot and fresh. All meals tasted fantastic.

Had our beautiful 15th wedding anniversary celebrations there. The staff were very accommodating. Especially to me as a I am a wheelchair user.

This is always a favorite for their menu is totally the bomb!!
They have the best selection of straps and how u like it cooked etc. And the staff are always readily available to buy adrink or help u.

Paid $25 for a hollindaise chicken snitzel, proportions were quite poor as well as the quality of chicken. Ordered bugs which were very over cooked and lasagne that wasn t cooked all the way through.
Wouldn t recommend or return to this tavern.

Extensive tasty menu in a pleasant and friendly venue

Excellent for families with little kids where the play area and the face painting keeps them entertain whilst the adults can enjoy the dinner and meal. Excellent choice of wine by the glass, as well as nice cuts of steaks.
