The Connor Group Review

My husband and me have been living in Hunters chase for an year now. Overall the apartments are good with upgraded equipment given at the time of moving in. Other amenities like laundry etc are easily accessible in every building.
There were a few issues initially when we moved in but the maintenance and emergency services were quick to attending to our issues and solving them ASAP.

Overall I would suggest these to anyone who wants a decent home with decent amenities.

I ve been living here for 3 years and things have really improved the change in ownership. Staff - management and maintenance - are all friendly and anxious to assist you. The only reason I rated this a four star is due to the age of the complex. Living here is 5-star. Don t even know that you re near a major road. Great staff!

I think there is definitely an unethical and deceitful culture running inside of the company. After reading some of the comments here, I summarized some tricks the apartment complex( newly owned by the Conner Group) played:
1) Never list the apartment price in any apartment complex owned by the Conner Group. If you don't believe this, check the Conner Group website, and click each apartment complex it owns, none of the places list the availability and price range.
2) Overstate its occupancy rate. If the occupancy rate is only 90%, it will state 98% leased out and even put a sign at the entrance.
3) Cut down the services and still charge the same price. i.e. cancel valet trash service and hired unprofessional people pick up the trash 3 times a week, instead of 5 times a week. But still charge the valet trash service rate.
4) The Conner Group acquired several apartment complex in recent years. The goal is trying to upgrade the apartments and sale them at a better price. So they don't care about any long term relationship, they just want some quick money.
5) If the leasing office staff wants something from you, they will keep calling you. If you want something from them, they act very rude.

I would also suggest don't rent the apartment that owned by this company. They do business in their own way.

I am living at Alexander Place in Charlotte, NC. The landscaping and grounds of this complex is simply beautiful. It's full of lots of woods and flowers and lots of space. The interior of my unit is a lovely two bedroom, two bath, including washer/dryer with a large patio. The wood burning fireplace is also perfect in the winter time. I live close to both the swimming pool and the tennis courts. This is an ideal spot to live in.

The staff is so very helpful each and every time I talk with them. From the moment I moved in, all staff members have done everything to welcome me to this new neighborhood. The neighbors are professional and respectful and many of us get together after work to visit.

This location is perfect to get to the Harris YMCA which is right beside Alexander Place. Alexander Place is also just an eight minute drive to South Park Mall and about a 20 minute drive to the Charlotte International Airport.

I love my new neighborhood and my beautiful home. You can be assured of moving into a lovely apartment unit in this perfect location in Charlotte when you move into Alexander Place.

Just writing to let the Connor Group know that they have a keeper in Brooke at Sterling Place Apartments. My family and I were looking for an upscale apartment in an excellent neighborhood and we were happy to meet and work with Brooke during the process! If you want the best in apartment living, LOOK FOR BROOKE!

I ve been at this complex over a year now. When I first moved in there was different management who made my experience not the best. However, we now have a new management who actually cares about its residents. Jess and her team go out of the way to make sure you re enjoying your apartment. I also can t speak highly enough about Dave. He repairs issues (even though I don t have many) in a timely manner and is a big part of the reason I resigned my lease. Plus they seem to be adding a lot to the complex. The outdoor space was redone this summer and they are currently painting the entire complex a brighter color. I m pretty particular on where I live and I was recommended River Oaks by three separate individuals. I d recommend checking it out.

If you haven t worked worth Haley, you should. She made everything so easy. She is the standard bearer of professionalism.

I have been truely satisfied living in Hunter's Chase from Connor Group in Miamisburg OHIO , I took this place after reading some good reviews and lots of my friends referred me.

The place I rented in 2015 till oct 2016 . I was a 2 BHK with ample space for 699$ and top notch maintenance team who take up any work request same day.

Three things I can list down are
1. Very safe and spacious.( New fridge , gas and dish washer)
2. Well located for all groceries and shops.
3. The guys have never given me any problems be it maintenance or paying rent and utilities.( there is a mobile app to pay these with just 2 taps).

Looking forward to comeback soon.

My experience was very quick and efficient. I responded to an ad at nine am, had an appointment set by ten am, and had made a commitment by 1pm same day. Devona was the person who helped me and she amazing. She was professional and friendly. She greeted me with a warm smile and showed interest in helpin me get into my new home. She is a great representative for the Connor group and I would gladly refer a family member or friend. Thank you.

I have been living in this appartment for more than 2 years now...The leasing office is very helpful.Monica has been very helpful in answering the needs of residents.

I don't know where to start with this absolute piss pathetic management! These people are as bad as SLUM LORDS. I moved into a community called Clifton Apartments back in September and they don't update anything at all. First of all, I walked 0.2 miles just to throw away trash, because they couldn't put a trash shute on both sides of the complex. Second, it would take the people way too long to respond to a problem. They sold us an unclean apartment, in which the previous tenant had to move out to a different because of multiple floodings, which we didn't know about. This Management sold us an apartment that had mold in it already and these people have the audacity to call their homes "Luxury"!

Their was a card that said this place was approved to rent despite all the issues they never fixed before moving in.

Don't believe these 5 star reviews these people lie about, because it's full of crap.

These people are complete "slum lords".

Bottom-line: They have no business in property management.

My experience thus far in Alexander Place has been more than I could've asked for! The staff that work in the main office have been so friendly, organized and helpful! The pools are amazing and so are the other tenants! I love the location because it's safe and so convenient to get to all the major parts of Charlotte! I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking!

Really great company! Haley at Dublin Park is amazing to work with. She truly cares about people and does everything she can to help when needed. My family is very happy the Connor Group bought the property!

I m impressed. I love the design of my apartment especially the bright but indirect light and high ceilings. Management is smart, quick to respond, and professional. Thanks for making this living experience exceed my expectations.

This company is completely unethical. From the way they treat their employees, and their residents, to how they operate in whole. Employee are taken advantage of. Residents needs are ignored, and requests to speak to upper management are never taken seriously. At the end of the day, it s all about profit for them. It s obvious that they use tactics on social media sites to impact their overall score, too. I noticed that after a one-star review gets posted on Glassdoor, for example, that it s immediately followed by several, very similarly written, five-star reviews.

Have been in SouthPark Morrison Apartments for just about 2 years and LOVE it! No complaints. Great apartment layout; well kept building. Wonderful office staff. Maintenance people are timely and fix things right the first time. Amenities in the apartment and the facility are well kept and great. Location is fantastic. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Not the best experience with them. Didn't do anything extra. Barely delivered where needed. I've dealt with better I've also dealt with worse.

We have lived in two different Conner Group Properties in both Ohio and North Carolina. The properties are clean and well maintained , apartment layouts are great and the staff is always friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a community to call home.

DO NOT LIVE IN A CONNOR GROUP PROPERTY. I cannot warn you enough. After endless issues with the property I lived in, I ve tried to contact Connor Group and have yet to get any responses. The property I lived in is supposed to be trying to re rent my apartment (I moved out and it s the law they re rent as they would any other apartment). When I contacted them about it, they said no one is interested in a short term lease. However, they are supposed to offer the unit in whatever way makes it the most appealing to prospective tenants. I can t get a hold of anyone to talk through this with, though. I ve asked to pay the lease off and get no response.

I moved out of the property because it was not safe. Car break ins and blood splatters on the second floor landing. The gym door never locked and the gate was regularly broken. I lived toward the back of the property and there were no lights. It was so dark and felt very scary.

Once I had a door break. They came to fix it and did a shoddy job. The door ended up falling in my dog and I.

Don t live in a Connor Group property. They don t even treat you like a person.

Live in Alexander Place, Charlotte, NC. Been here over 10 years with y son now 23. Great place, location and schools.

I just moved into Alexander Place Apartments in Charlotte, NC. Staff and community have been so welcoming helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place, great location too, washer and dryer in unit, and able to bike to work and grocery.

I currently live in Charlotte at Alexander Place. All in all I have had a good experience here after one year. The grounds are kept up and the property is very nice. The staff are helpful and if you have a problem with your apartment maintenance will usually be there that day or the next to take care of it. I wish the rent didn't go up after my first year but at least it was only 50 dollars. Overall I would say this is a pretty good place to live.

I am currently living in an apartment complex that the Connor Group managed in Las Colinas Texas. I don t want to give them name for security purposes. I moved in February 2017 and they sold the property to another company recently. The new management company took over the property March 5th 2019.
I was pretty thoroughly displeased with the management. #1 They didn t have enough maintenance workers. I lived in a one bedroom one bath and out shower broke. It took them 4 days to get our only shower fixed. #2 When we renewed our first lease, the said that they needed to upgrade our apartment. It wasn t really an option. We didn t mind, however they never upgraded our apartment. After about a month or two into the new lease we reached out and asked when they would upgrade, they said that the person who upgraded the apartment left the country for a funeral. They ended up having to fire him because he never returned. They kept reassuring me we were on the list to be upgraded, but our second lease was up in Feb 2019 and it s not updated. However, somehow they managed to upgrade the apartment across from us. Honestly, I didn t complain too much about it because they discounted our rent, or really they kept it the same price as our first lease since it hadn t been upgraded. I still don t like being lied to and pushed off to the side. Around November I had given up on asking them when they were going to upgrade. #3 They charged a $500 transfer fee if you want to transfer apartments. That s pretty high. #4 I had made several visits to the office regarding moving into a two bedroom, making sure we had everything squared away. We did everything was good, but they never mentioned to us that they were leaving March 5th, 2019!! I came home from work and there were new dumpsters and found a note on our door that the management had changed. Not cool at all. That s just rude and heartless. Truly shows they care about their customers. .

The only good thing that they did was have a breakfast to go where they passed out some breakfast items from Corner Bakery as cars were leaving for work. It was a good idea. Pretty nice.

Then we did have one favorite person who worked in the office and she seemed to really be the only one who could actually get tasks accomplished. She cared and was pretty nice.

I would actively avoid renting from this company again.

I have lived in The Villager Apartments for almost a year, and have just renewed my lease for another year. It is a very quaint, quiet area with great amenities. The pools are very convenient on summer days, and the gym is perhaps my favorite, most utilized perk of The Villager. They gym offers various types of equipment and machines for whatever level someone may be at in their workouts. The overall maintenance of the community is very well kempt and the maintenance crew themselves are always prompt and polite. The office staff and manager are very polite and very willing to accommodate needs/concerns that may arise. It is nice to speak with managers and staff that are willing to talk about anything and not be too business oriented when just talking about life. They are very affable and easy to talk to. I would recommend visiting The Villager for your next apartment whatever your budget and space requirements are. Great place to live.

I lived at one of the Connor Group's properties in Dayton (The Villager) for 2 1/2 years, and I have to say it was a very good experience. These things are billed as luxury apartment complexes and they have a lot of the services that pretty much everyone subscribes to all built into one package, which I thought was nice. The property is clean and contrary to some of the other reviews I've seen on here, I thought the staff was as friendly as you could expect.

I moved out last summer when I bought my own place, and the out-processing was pretty easy. In my opinion, the complex is for people that want to live in a nice place and have all of their needs taken care of and wrapped into one package. If you don't like that, there are plenty of other places around town. But I personally was very happy and would (and have) recommended this to friends.

Caley and Meridith are two of the best leasing staff I have ever dealt with. Right from the first call I made to enquire about the availability till the point I moved in the unit and got settled, they were always available for any help and made sure entire process went smoothly. The only complaint I have is that unit was not in best state when I moved in, but again staff made sure all things were taken care of in a timely manner. I am happy with my decision to move to Wellington Place

We live in the Arboretum in Charlotte .its an amazing place with cool neighborhood.

Had a terrible experience upon moving into the apartment and management was zero help. Nothing was resolved until we threatened to take the Connor Group to small claims court. All of a sudden, what they had told was impossible, disappeared.

Overall I love my apartment, but think the Connor Group needs to have their residents best interest in mind, not just their bottom line.

I moved to the the Alexander Place Apartment a week ago from Memphis! Jean Murphy in the office was absolutely amazing with helping me get setup with my apartment. This was my first time I ever Chose a apartment complex prior to not seeing it but Jean assured me that I would love it. She was detail and thorough making sure I get to see the apartment VIA face time witch I thought was cool of her to go that extra mile. Great place & great staff to work with.

I have lived at Wellington since June 2017. The office staff is great and take care of any questions that I have. Allen the maintenance man always fixes what needs fixed. My townhome is beautiful from the new carpet to my stainless appliances.

As resident of Ashford Green, I suggest that the apartment is very cool place to live. a lot of restaurants, the college, and grocery stores are less than five minute drive. by those reasons I prefer to renew my lease for second time.

I have enjoyed living at Alexander Place (in Charlotte, NC) since 2013 because of the convenience of the location; I felt safe and it was a quiet community. I am leaving due to relocating out of the state with my job. The ladies in the office, were always so nice. It has been a great experience.

The biggest stain on the American corporate market. All the reviews below are a true testament to their extreme greediness to make money and a substantiation to their wholesome apathy towards the tenants (customers). They INVENT ways to steal you out of your hard earned dollars. You pay for Water and Trash at most other apartments and this is bundled into the rent. But these guys have First Billing (which they deny any affiliation) for utilities that are NOT Gas and Electricity. They come up with Admin fee ($7-10) for God knows what; General Electric Fee (~$10) to cover the complete electric usage OUTSIDE your house like parking lighting, leasing office, gym etc; Convenience Fee of $3-4 to PAY rent through a card at leasing office or online; Gate Fee($7-9) for broken gates; Sewer (what is this anyway?); Pest Control NEVER ONCE has anyone come to our apartment for ANY pest control and I can say this because I work from home etc etc. $100 fine if you delay your rent payment by 1 day! They are filled with lies. Check their website and see their claims - they beat the market in the income they make by a HUGE margin!!! It is only possible through their atrocious and meaningless fees. Join Tenants Against the Connor Group on Facebook for more. I just moved into Alexander Place Apartments in Charlotte. I needed to move in quickly and the ladies at the leasing office were so helpful and accommodating. The apartments are very spacious for the price; I was pleasantly surprised what could fit into my budget especially given the great location. I would definitely recommend this community!

I love the staff they are amazing to work with. Maintenance is always there when I call. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. I would love to see them put a play area in the open space they have. Neighbors have been great and friendly. By far the best place I've dealt with as far as staff and housing.

I have lived at Residences at Starwood which is a Connor Group Property for 4 years. I love it here very much and dont plan on leaving any time soon. The staff is friendly and the maintenence is great and very responsive. I know the Connor Group has a lot of properties across the states and I know by the staff they have working here at Starwood that they are a good company to work for. I will refer anyone who asks to a Connor Group location.

I love living at Dublin Park, Haley is amazing!! I have lived here since 1991, the Connor group purchased the property 1 year ago & they are the best ownership we have had! I would definitely recommend living at one of their properties!!!

My son rented an apartment at the Quarry. He moved out on May 13 and was told he would receive his deposit back. It is August 11 and we've been told, yet again, that it would come in a few days. I have called and spoken with Tommy, Tanya, Mandy, Nicole, Kyle, left a message for Erica (no call back), and Jennifer. They are nice on the phone. I have only received on call back (everyone else promised to check and call back and never did). The corporate culture seems to be to be nice on the phone, don't bother with follow up and hope that young renters forget their deposit. I wonder how many deposits never get returned.

The Connor Group really invested in Sterling Place since they took over. They changed the roofs, the lights and signs, paved, painted, etc.

I have lived at Alexander Place for the past 2 years and the only reason I am leaving is because I bought a house. These guys really saved me when I was in a bind with the other complex I almost moved into when I came to charlotte. The apartment has been great. It was super quiet and the landscaping makes it feel kinda secluded. It is on the road but you do not notice the noise much since its elevated above the road and the apartments are well insulated.

The layout of the apartment is really great. They tried to maximize the space as much as possible and it feels really roomy. I was really surprised I was able to get all of my crap in there.

You could not ask for a better location. SouthPark mall is a mile away and the pineville mall is only about 10 min away. Any kind of food or beverage is nearby and there is plenty of entertainment options including Carowinds being only 15 min away. The traffic really is not that bad in that area. The only downside is that the apartments are next to Quail country club and every year a main road gets closed down for a couple of weeks. It is a minor inconvenience but not the end of the world.

I only ever really had one maintenance issue. Our AC was not working but was still blowing air. Every time we asked them to come fix it the guy said it was working fine. I finally had to get the maintenance manager to come look at it and he discovered that the problem was not something they usually checked for and had it fixed same day. They were always kinds and courteous and knew us by name even before this incident.

I did want to mention a piece about the cable and water. Yes they are required but if you look outside of that, you would only be saving about $50 by not having the cable included. Since it was split between 2 of us it was not big enough of a deal breaker. For the price and location you cant beat this place given that across the street it is $400 a month more.

Moved into Mad River Apartments about 3 months ago. They're doing a complete renovation and revamping the entire community. Very well maintained community. It is coming along great. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Maintenance is always quick and timely. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

We love our new home at Wellington Place! Everyone has been great! The staff is super helpful and attentive to our needs! Enjoying our new home so far!

My family lives in Knightsbridge apartments in Irving. Apartments are nice and spacious. Park , restaurants, Bank of America, gas station are all within walking distance from this community. I would definitely recommend this community to live in.

I have lived in a Connor property for over 10 years and highly recommend them. My current apartment at the Villager is very affordable and spacious and is perfect for my lifestyle. The entire staff makes me feel like family and is very responsive to my requests. I feel like they really care about the maintenance of the property and are proud of its visual appeal. I plan on being on this property for many years to come and have really enjoyed my time here.

Fairway lakes apartments in Westerville Ohio is terrible. Worst experience I ever have had. Don't ever rent from these people unless its your last resort.

Great Company! Also, Haley is one of the most hardworking and friendly people. She is a great person to work with at Dublin Park. Glad I was able to work with her. Again, Haley is the best employee by far working for the company!!!

I lived at the City View at Soco in Austin, TX managed by The Connor Group for 2 years now. Before my stay, I was living in another city and I only had 13 days to pack up everything and move out there. The staff was extremely helpful in finding me a roommate, working with the cable, gas, and electric companies so I could be all set up. I couldn't have had a smoother move without them. During my 2 year stay, they have been nothing but the best. When something goes wrong in my apartment it is fixed very fast. The Connor Group definitely has their act together. I would definitely recommend the property I lived at to anyone who is moving to Austin. Keep up the good work Connor Group!

The entire staff at Sterling Place has been extremely friendly and professional. They have been very helpful and went out of there way to get the job done. With the new upgrades at Sterling Place and the staff I would definitely recommend Sterling Place to others>

I really love living at Knightsbridge in Las Colinas Irving. The place is so safe and a great location within 1 minute to highway 114 and george bush turnpike and 635. You can't beat the location and the price for rent at this place compared to other apartments in the area. The leasing staff is so nice especially Monica.

I have enjoyed living at the apartments at Quarterside. I use the gym and pool all the time. The Connor Group has taken over the management of the property and they're doing a great job. They're responsive and diligent about keeping the gym and common areas in good condition. I have recommended this community to many of my friends.

For the most part I like living here at Brookstone Village. It's in a good neighborhood, nice apartments, and I love the onsite pool and fitness room. My roommate and I have had a few issues with unorganized staffing. We haven't felt our issues with the apartment (A/C probs, missing doors, etc.) were a high priority for our landlords which has led to high electric bills for the past couple months. But overall it's a nice, convenient place to live in Cincinnati.

The size of the community is awesome with ample parking! I enjoy the new updates in the unit! The basketball court, volleyball court, tennis court, and 2 pools are wonderful amenities as well!

I have been living at Glenmuir for about 7 months. The staff is always really helpful and maintenance has been very quick when we needed anything fixed. The pool is really nice and the gym is 24 hours. Overall, one of the best apartments I have lived in. It's a great value for the area!!

Was recruited to apply for a job via LinkedIn. I obliged. I completed 2 phone interviews and then was moved onto the next round, a video conference. I was told it went well and I would hear back in 48 hours. Never heard back. I called the office after 5 days to get a status update. The receptionist had said the recruiter would "call me right back after his meeting was over." Yeah I never heard back.

2 weeks later I received a generic e-mail stating they went with someone else. I find it very very interesting that they were so excited about recruiting me and said they had so many open positions and that they had something for me... then it all went away when they saw my face.

Worst people to rent from. Fairway Lakes is a pig sty of a property. The office staff is rude and the maintenance staff does not show up for appointments. The grounds are not kept well and they just planted a bunch of dead grass and trees on the property. The buildings have been painted ugly colors. Worst renting experience of my life.

Love my apartment such a great management team check out this places apartments they won t let you down!

I have lived at Sterling Place in Dublin, OH for a year and just resigned a new lease. The staff that I have dealt with is kind and willing to help. The maintenance team is usually pretty good about getting things fixed. They have done a lot so far in updating the complex. The location is nice because it is so close to so much. I am an outdoor kind of person so for me the biggest perks are the huge balcony and all of the open space around the buildings with trees and ponds.

The structure being provided by The connor group is a welcome and much needed accommodation. Hey really took the "ugh", out of my relocation process. So effortless with unimaginable convenience that i as a professional who tries to make every second of a work day as productive as possible. 6 stars to the staff.

I have had nothing but a great experience with living at Alexander Place Apartments! Mallory at the leasing office is very friendly and helpful. I have lived here for a year and am currently about to renew my lease for a second year. I loved that they have the washer and dryer in the unit, the setup of the apartment itself is nice, and the property is gorgeous when everything is in bloom. The SouthPark area itself is great because you have close access to the mall, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Also, it is an easy drive to the city but you still have the comforts of the "suburban" lifestyle. I highly recommend Alexander Place Apartments!

I am in the process of renting an apartment at Alexander Place in Charlotte, NC, and Talisha could not have made it easier! She's been professional, friendly, responsive and has stayed on top of things to make sure it all goes smoothly. This experience has been great. And, Alexander Place is the perfect location in South Park. It's close to everything!

The Tech In Naperville IL, I Think His Name Is Marcus. Do A Good Job With The People Here When It Come Down To Fixing Things And Getting Things Done And He Be Working Super Hard To get Stuff Done, Wish It Was Two Of Him There, Maybe Y'all Wont Be So behind On Things. Great location, great price. The management team is really responsive and friendly. I had a few routine maintenance issues in my first year but the after-hours response was quick and my issues were taken care of within a reasonable time frame. The maintenance crew was very friendly and made it clear that my convenience was their number one priority. Overall one of the best apartments I have lived in!

I have lived at Alexander Place in Charlotte for almost three years now and am very impressed with their weekly and monthly upkeep and maintenance for the property! In fact my refrigerator was leaking and I told Jenn and Darrin with maintenance fixed the problem the next day! I would recommend Alexander Place apartments of Charlotte to anyone!

Not only are you close to the up & booming area of Austin Landing but, you wouldn't know it because of how quiet it is & close you are to the trials & parks. The staff not only cares but also has the right mindset to continue making Austin Springs THE place to live.

I love this place! The staffs are wonderful. My apartment is great size for me since it's a 1b/1b. Would recommend to come live here and prices are low.

My family and I relocated to the area and chose Austin Springs to live - while we selected a home to purchase. Tonia (Property Manager) went above and beyond to take care of our needs and assisted with our transition into the apartment. I have two young children, who loved the apartment and felt right at home. The apartment is laid out perfectly and offers plenty of room and storage. I have no suggestions for improvements, as the apartment was perfect for my situation. The complex has an indoor basketball court with an exercise gym - which is awesome! The community is quiet, safe, and has a pleasing atmosphere. Shopping, grocery, and restaurants are literally across the street making Austin Springs a perfect living location. I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience and living at Austin Springs and will give my recommendation to others looking for a luxury apartment.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. By far the worst apartment i have ever lived in. When i moved in there were dead bugs in all the draws, nothing has been cleaned, and when i went to the front to tell them, they simply told me i was lying and needed to leave. Run as far away from this complex as possible.

I am a resident of stone ridge since June 15th 2014. I actually put in my application the same day i saw the complex. I did think at the time that $200 was a little too much just for an application and reservation fee (that were both non-refundable if you change your mind...) But I liked the place and it was VERY close to my job as well. Rhonda who showed the place and helped out with my application was soooooo nice! And so was the rest of the staff (Connie and Devone). I felt like they really cared and were ready to work with me and help out as much as they can, which gave me a very good first impression. I didn't really like the combined utility bill (Water, sewer, trash, pest control, and cable, NO INTERNET for $140 and up),,,and it made me feel like i was "trapped" as i had no choice not to accept the charges...However, i lived in a private house and was paying each of those bills individually and i can tell you the difference isn't much. I just wish that internet was included in the package.
I was going to write a review right after I moved in but after reading the reviews in this website, i chose to wait a bit and watch...lol Well my final assessment is this:
1. They charge such high reservation fee and application to cover up some of the losses they experience charging such low rent in such a good neighborhood. And it's legid. Drive around, ask around...You will understand what i mean.
2. The combined utility bill actually is fair, given that Comcast charges $90 for 150 channels and 25 mbps internet not counting their own fees and taxes. And for a family of 2, the average water usage runs between $35-50/month. So just those 2 would probably run to $140...
3. The apartments are not new. They all have their flaws. But they are well maintained and the grounds are 95% of the time super clean. There are no kids running around and no neighbors blasting their music at 2am...
3. The staff is GENUINELY nice! You know how sometimes you go to an apartment complex and they are nice to you BEFORE you sign the lease and A**HOLES after you sign? Well it's not the case here. They are always very respectful and eager to help...even AFTER you sign!
4. Most reviews in this site complain about maintenance...Well they are not the fastest, BUT there is a reason. They work by triage. They won't run to your place the next hour because your ice maker isn't working (duhh!!) but I have seen them come over the next day when one of my neighbors hot water was acting up. Since I've moved in I have only had a couple of really non-life-threatening issues that could have waited and I have only waited 2-3 days. So it's really not as bad as people say.
5. And YES there are raccoons! BUT hey! don't feed them by leaving your trash out!
6. Ask for Rhonda if you planning on seeing the place...She's truly a DOLL!!!!

Are you kidding me??? where did you find these people??? The staff was professional and at the same time made you feel like family...I love it here!!! EVERYONE was so helpful in getting us moved in and settled... Moving is tough...they made it easier!!!

I recently moved to this apartments I am feeling comfortable and safe here.

This place and the management have no clue what they are doing and are only out for a rent check.
They will sell their own mother out if it meant a dollar.

I went to The Austin Landing office in Miamisburg Ohio to let then know I will be moving out at my leases end in September 2020. Its July 1 2020. They came to me in May of 2020 under the guise of an Apartment inspection and tricked me into signing a new lease while distracting me with conversation not pertaining to the lease. I went to advise them I would be moving out at my lease end date because I lost my job because of the cover virus. The lease I was tricked into signing does not start till September 2020. I can see if I was 4 months into the lease and tried to cancel that they would charge me. I'm 2 months before the lease starts and they won't let me out. These people are only into to trapping people into staying in a place i can't afford anymore. I'm jobless. I'm struggling to pay my current rent till September but I'm upholding my contract till September. I pay my rent on time but then treated like a criminal by doing the right thing. Now my credit will be destroyed because they don't have people beating down the door to move in here. Unfair treatment.

The Connor Group is a great company! I live at one of the Columbus OH properties and am very happy with my apartment and the staff is great to work with! Haley is always very friendly and a pleasure to be around. All of the maintenance guys are knowledgeable and efficient! I would recommend living at one of the Connor Group properties!
