Was recruited to apply for a job via LinkedIn. I obliged. I completed 2 phone interviews and then was moved onto the next round, a video conference. I was told it went well and I would hear back in 48 hours. Never heard back. I called the office after 5 days to get a status update. The receptionist had said the recruiter would "call me right back after his meeting was over." Yeah I never heard back.

2 weeks later I received a generic e-mail stating they went with someone else. I find it very very interesting that they were so excited about recruiting me and said they had so many open positions and that they had something for me... then it all went away when they saw my face.
