Great value for the price. Only complaint I have is the water being a little cold in the water park in the middle of December. Otherwise a great experience.

Nice place to take the kids. Water park was a blast for them. Hotel was clean and accommodating!

Our daughter had fun in the water park. Good for young kids. Hotel is not more than 3 stars and we had a few centipedes in the room.

I love it there always fun to go to for the waterpark. The spa is very nice too.

This place is awesome! We went in the middle of the week in October. The water park was practically empty and all to ourselves. The lifeguards were so so nice and friendly. The staff was always super courteous and a joy to interact with. The place is *super* clean. They gave us the most far removed room too which was great because it meant it was super quiet and also, I didn t feel terrible when my 3 year old had a fit at 7am. The water park is so fun. Especially if your kids are say, under 12. It s not huge, but it feels huge to a 6 year old. :)
There s a fridge and microwave in the room, so we did breakfasts and lunches in the room and went out for dinner to keep costs down.
Here are the places where improvement is needed (though still a 5-star review):
The restaurant: omg. It was awful. The service was great and super friendly, but the food is horrible. The boys wanted breakfast there one morning. Waste of money and I felt I was feeding them less than junk food. It was awful.
Really that s about it, though. Everything else was so amazing in this place.
If you re picky about shampoo and stuff like that, which we re so not, bring your own. Especially conditioner.

We came here for one night stay with family. Kids enjoyed the water park. We got the stay via Groupon and it was well worth the cost. Rooms were cozy and clean. The rooms had microwave and a mini fridge with is very nice when you have small kids. Overall a great experience.

Overall a fun experience but the place you can tell is aged. The big disappointment was at the bottom of the main slide, the signs were rusted and water with rust was dripping on the floor, definitely some health and safety issue there.

The service is according to its category three stars ... whoever wants more then pay more.

Great for small kids. Food is a little expensive. Life guards and ride staff do very little. Getting on the tubes you get no help at all. The pool is by polar, one minute its warm then is cold.

very good place to take your kids. one of the lifeguard who has long blond hair and wear metallic sunglasses blew a whistle very emotionally. even other lifeguard shocked her. it was very uncomfortable. probably they are like high school students.

Front desk was very helpful and the water park was great for the price. But, the water park was cold, the bedrooms were a little dirty and the beds were horrible.

The waterpark was amazing. The water was nice and my 5 year old could go on everything. My toddler even had fun. Our room was close to the waterpark and there was a nice outdoor play area for kids as well. Enjoyed our time there and the price was right

We Dj'd a wedding here and the facility w great, the food was delicious but even better was the staff. These days a venue with helpful, polite and knowledgeable staff is getting harder and harder to find. The employees that night at the wedding, and during the day (while we set up) we're absolutely great to work with! It was a pleasure to dj at this venue.

For the price it's very good. The best thing about it is the waterpark and how close it is from the falls

I come here every year to play in the border Battles billards tourney. Great venue .

The place was wonderful. Went there to check out a venue awhile ago and loved the ballroom. Erin was lovely and bought us lunch and went over the packages with us. She was super friendly and easy to talk to. I hear great things about the watermark too! Long line at the check in but it moved quickly.

My kids love this place its not as big as great wolf or fallsview indoor waterpark.

Staff was great and rooms were clean and nice. Staff gave us two complimentary party rooms as we were there for a hockey tournament. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the waterpark and the crazy amounts of chlorine they use. Both my kids ended up with bloodshot eyes and horrible rashes.

My experience with the Americana was better than I could have imagined. I had a January wedding and did a cocktail-style reception with food stations. Guests gave me countless compliments on the food and the customer service was excellent. Lori was a pleasure to work with and was fantastic with all my requests and updates.

My husband and I are both gluten free and have a lot of close family members with dietary needs revolving around gluten and dairy or being vegetarian. Not only was the Americana unbelievably accommodating and creative, but they made it so easy and never made it feel like a burden or like it would be difficult. For dinner, we had a pasta station, salad station, carving station, Cuban station and seafood station. Every single one was designed gluten free for us (or in the case of pasta, with a gluten free pasta option) and even the sauces were gluten free. While it was a bit trickier for dessert, we were still offered creme brulee while our other guests could have the dessert options (we had a gluten/dairy free cake and cupcakes anyway). The late night pizza station also had gluten and dairy free options.

We were given so much flexibility to get creative with our food station menu which was a lot of fun for us. The Americana didn't just exceed my expectations, they floored me with their ability to accommodate and create delicious food. If I could, I'd give them 6 stars. This is not your average banquet hall!

Great place to take younger kids for the waterpark. The hotel is clean and updated. The staff is friendly. The boston pizza attached doesnt have the outrageous pricing that the other one on the hill has. We will be returning.

Room was clean and a good size. Food was delicious. Staff managing the event we attended were friendly.

The room was fantastic, the service was friendly and knowledgeable, quick drive downtown, grocery store right next door, kids loved the water park. Highly recommend.

The Americana waterpark is great for family with little kids, my 6yo daughter really enjoyed it! There are several dutiful lifeguards overlooking the pools. We only went for the waterpark so I can't comment on overnight stays. The environment is clean albeit decor is a bit dated.

A fun all inclusive establishment. Waterpark, arcade and restaurants. No need to leave the hotel

Nice hotel. Kids enjoyed the Waterpark. We were located on the first floor and both nights we got very little sleep. Walls are so thin that we could hear the toilet being flushed in another room and the constant sounds of people walking above us kept us up! Also the hot water kept running out , the last person to shower would always be left with Lukewarm water at best. Not sure if I will be returning

Got a free upgrade... was amazing. The park opening at 9 for hotel guests over the holidays was amazing. Line ups were never very long. Fun place with little ones.

The staff were professional and very pleasant but this is where my enjoyment ended. The rooms are outdated, lights were missing shades, the bedding was inadequate, there was literally no wifi access even though they advertise free wifi. The smart TVs weren t connected to the internet so netflix was not an option and the breakfast buffet was criminally overpriced and the food was sub par. Many hotels in the area offer better buffets and are included in the cost of the room. My kids enjoyed the waterpark so my only complaint would be that compared to Great Wolf Lodge and Fallsview it is a distant third in overall rating. I would not recommend this hotel based on cost alone.

Hotel is old and in need of updates. Rooms are smelly. Hallways are dirty. Staff is unwilling to accomodate requests. Overall the price of the rooms in ratio to what is bring offered is ridiculous. Very expensive to stay and put up with the conditions of the rooms. Bugs are everywhere.

A wonderful stay at a nice hotel. Staff was curteous and friendly, had no issues with the room, parking, etc. Everything was clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

Kids had good time but for the price I expect more literally only one pool (waves)

I was at the Americana for the wedding show this past weekend. The staff and facilities were spectacular!

Excellent service! I was in a day business meeting and I did enjoy the food! The staff is very welcoming, Colin, our host/server was very professional, kind and attentive!

We were there for two nights. It was a very pleasant stay. The water park is amazing for kids and adults. The water temperature was perfect, and everything was clean and well supervised. I would recommend it highly.

Very nice staff and rooms are excellent. However your room may not be cleaned if you tell them to come back. Laundry machines don't wash that well. Overall a good hotel.

The hotel was fantastic we had a nice room and the water park was wonderful but the lunch was expensive that's why i remove one star

Great event, sleep cheap Niagara. Kudos for that and clean rooms/waterpark but beds so uncomfortable and dont bother with the pull out couch. Fun for kids, not fun for moms and dads

The hotel rooms were very nice. Staff was polite and accommodating. My only complaint is they only have an all in one gel in the shower that isn't very adequate to compensate for the chlorine in the water. If you have long hair make sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. The attached aqua park is very nice. There are fun areas for children of all ages and heights. The pool is heavily chlorinated to accommodate all the people. The two sets of slides, one set body and the other set tube, are quite fun. The snack bar is handy and licenced but quite expensive.

Ist time I have ever paid to park at a hotel. The room was nice, but walls are kind of thin. You could hear everything.. the water park was clean and staff was friendly

Very clean, updated hotel. Waterpark was well maintained. Great toddler pool with infant swings. 4 water slides. Playhouse type waterpark and wave pool. Snack bar food was great and decently priced. There's an arcade as well. Only thing I would improve is to have lounge chairs added. Currently it's all tables and chairs around the waterpark.

Company event held at the Americana. From sales, to catering, to management to front desk, awesome to work with. The event was a HUGE success. Would definitely recommend them for any event!! And the band, Jonesy, perfect!! Rave review from the 300 attendees!!!

Wow, the best part of this hotel is the lobby. Stayed here for 3 nights for a dance competition. Room was outdated. Climate control unit doesn t work properly so we were either freezing cold or steaming hot. There s an odour through the hotel. Water park looks pretty good for younger children. Lulu s coffee was pretty good and the Boston Pizza that is attached to the hotel was fine. I will not stay here again...much better options in the area...especially for the price!

I was here for a work conference and everything was great. Good snacks, good room.

I was on vacation last summer and went there for a suite, it was the worst customer service ever. The young white girl in the front was rude and unprofessional, she couldn't give us the right information and was very impatient. The staff didn't look very friendly so we ended up going somewhere else. I was not impressed.

We got a deal through Groupon and stayed for 2 nights. We had a positive experience from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff was friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. The halls were quiet at night. The kids were fully entertained with water activities, a magician and a mad scientist.There was even a basketball court, a volleyball court and a playground. The ladies at the Oasis Snack Bar always served us with a smile. The snack bar had great drinks and delicious food. The family enjoyed the personal pizzas, fries, and chicken burger. Our favourite was the wings. They were sooooo delicious. Although the waterpark was smaller than what we are used to, it was clean and perfect for kids. I was able to easily keep on an eye on both boys even when they chose to be at different parts of the waterpark. The wave pool and the slides were tops for the family. I enjoyed the hot tub. Our only disappointment was Jack Tanner's. We found it pricey. We also did not find the food to be as tasty as it was at the Oasis Snack Bar. Our family recommends Americana Waterpark Resort and Spa all the way and look forward to returning in the future.

Room was to be ready at 4pm. It wasn't ready until 530. It ruined our first night plans. They offered a 1 hour late check out. Big deal. Extremely poor quality towels. No amenities in room. Bed covers probably 20 years old. Room was big and had enough for 5 of us. Bathroom toilet rocked and fixtures were scratched. The water park was ok for kids 12 and under. The hotel hallways and rooms are in desperate need of a makeover. The staff were friendly but you could tell they were were not into doing anything more than the bare minimum. The hotel offered over priced food. If a place like this had a restaurant that catered to families and had good food for a good price, the state of the rooms could be over looked. For close to $300 a night I will find something at the falls. I am a simple person and easy to please. This hotel is not at all the quality I expected. One good thing is a grocery store next door, pharmacy, fast food and easy access to highway. I am sure when it opened it was really nice. It's just been let go.

The rooms all looked tidy and clean. The wifi in the rooms were really bad though

Always enjoy our time at the resort, from the time you walk in to the time you leave is constant customer service at its best

A little dated like a lot of places in Niagara Falls but had a great time with the kids. Would definitely go again.

Rooms were relatively clean. My 2 yo son loved the water park, but I could see it getting busy with the size of the water park and the number of rooms there are at the resort. Like other people have said the towels provided at the water park are actually thinner and smaller than the ones in the room. You would be better off bringing your own towel

The room was clean but unremarkable, and the waterpark was pretty small and boring. The balcony on our room was infested with carpenter ants. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, though most of the lifeguarding staff look pretty unimpressed with their jobs.

Great water park, nice and warm. Nice day away from winter.

Just small enough for a weekend getaway. However I didn't like the fact their WiFi was so weak. I mean we didn't have WiFi all weekend.

Service was a bit slow ....prices were ok. Food quality was good.

This is an affordable hotel and the services are excellent.

Spa is very zen like a d quiet despite the craziness of the waterpark area nearby.
