I purchased my Toyota from this dealership in 2011...

I purchased my Toyota from this dealership in 2011. About 2 months ago I brought it in because the check engine, VSC off, and traction control lights were all on. The service department informed me that their mechanic diagnosed it and determined it needed four new injectors and spark plugs throughout. The cost was 1200 dollars and they assured me it would fix the problem. I proceeded to have the work done. I took the car home and three days later all the lights were back on. I brought the car back in and they offered me a rental car for a few days. Four days later I picked up the car and they told me it was just the oil filter losing pressure so they did a new oil change. I again took the car home and five days later the lights were on again. This was three weeks ago. I have since called them at least 5 times to bring my car back in to get properly fixed. They have said each time that they were waiting on a rental car to give me. At this point after two months of trying to get my car fixed I just want a refund. They misdiagnosed what was wrong with the car and I had 1200 dollars worth of work done for no reason. They have yet to return my calls to bring the car back in and have yet to offer any sort of refund. My next step is to file a complaint with the BBB and hopefully they can do something for me and prevent this from happening to someone else.

I just bought a new 2014 Toyota Venza from Team Toyota. I had to trade in my not-quite-one-year-old 4Runner, which I LOVED(!!!), because my husband could no longer get up into the SUV safely.

I have always been treated with such kindness and integrity at Team Toyota that I just knew this would also be a positive experience. And it was! Frank was so cooperative and even allowed me to test drive the vehicle to my home so I could make sure my husband could easily get in and out of the vehicle, which he could. Frank also worked hard so that I would not take a financial beating in this transaction. I was so relieved when I drove away from the dealership in my new vehicle. I have told so many people about the wonderful service I get at Team Toyota.

And, mentioning service, the REAL reason I am such a faithful customer is because of the service department. They have helped my out in so many ways and gotten my out of many jams. They all seem like good friends to me!

My service/ treatment at Toyota is beyond excellent. They go out of their way to make you happy. Said does a wonderful job getting me what I want and correcting any issues in a timely manner. This is my 3rd car and could'nt be happier.

I usually drop off my car first thing, request a completion time, and my car has always been ready as promised -- even if I've had additional items come up. The service Techs always will take the time to explain work that needs to be done or when it's something I don't understand, they take the time to explain the service. I will continue to bring my car here for service.

Toyota on 41 service department is very attentative to detail. The staff are on top of things. From the time you drop off your car to picking it up - they leave no detail unearthed. When all diagnostics are completed, they email or text youba link to review the report. The report includes pricing. You can check and send back which items you want to complete or pass on. You get a free caer wash when you pick up your car!

I coordinated with Lauren and multiple people to get more pictures, more details and every piece of information I was looking to get for that car which they provided. Got there, inspected the car, spent 30 minutes for paperwork, then had a team of employees come congratulate me very formally in my new purchase. Very pleased with their customer service! Really good prices on the cars. Highly recommend.

I purchased my first Toyota. It's a 2014 Highlander Limited Platinum AWD and it is awesome. Sales Rep. Bob Gilmack helped find the perfect vehicle for me. All the safety features with back-up camera and GPS, etc. Just a great vehicle with an equally great buying experience. I recently went in for my second routine service appointment. All is good with Team's service department experience as well. Way to go Team Toyota.

I had a 08' Yaris and I traded it in for a 2016 Scion iA. Best thing I did. I love the iA. I do miss my Yaris at times but it was becoming too much work. Debi Boer was my dealer and she worked her ass off to get me the best deal to my budget. Hector from Scion helped out and he did his best to get the pricing I wanted. If you want a dealer who will bend over backwards to get the deal you want or very very close, go to Debi and / or Hector!

I have been a customer of Team Toyota for many years, this is my third car I have purchase from Toyota (2 from Team Toyota and 1 from Merrillville Toyota), but I love to go to Team Toyota for my service and it seem that I always get Dan as my service person.

My niece told me that she made her purchase of a Toyota because she notice that my cars last me a long time.

I am very happy that they open up the new facility on 41, because the old one was not as large as the new one, I just enjoy the service I get from the service people to the receptionist she is great.

1. I was grossly overcharged for work at this dealership. A wheel bearing and sensor replacement was $1600. Front and rear calipers, brake pads, and rotors were $2000. This is all for a 2005 Highlander, a car only worth about $1200.
2. I was not appraised of the total amount that I would be spending on all of the work which was done. If I knew the total was going to be $3939, I would have been more judicious and probably wouldn't have had all of the work done there at the dealership. I wish the Service Rep would have been more clear with me, reviewing with me multiple times over the phone what each item was going to cost and what the total was looking like, as more and more items were added to the work order. There were so many separate charges that were added and he never in the process actually gave me an idea of what the grand total was, until the very end when I needed to give him my credit card to pay. He should have kept me appraised of the total amount (with tax) *especially* because the car is only worth $1200. I could have scaled back the work order, or just maybe traded in the car for a new one.
3. When I filled out a survey as well as spoke to Krystle over email about these issues and I encountered, she informed me that I was not overcharged and if I had further questions I should email her. There was nothing this dealership was willing to do to remedy the problems.

Well recently I took me and my wife and we went to team Toyota and we were pleasantly surprised when our salesman seemed like such a normal guy and was so easy to get along with and truthful ,and as things turned out he was and everything worked out and we got the car and she loves it and then she let me drive it and guess what,? I had to have one so less than a week later I went back and there's my man, Mike sokol and finance manager Mike Anderson and again nothing but smooth sailing they hooked me up with a very nice 2021Corolla and I was on my way I've never been happier ,and the people at team Toyota are very easy to work with! all in all I would recommend team Toyota in schererville Indiana over all of the others I've been to.

Previously other dealerships did not do that for us. Justin took care of us and was super patient with my mom. He took the time to explain everything and is honest about the pricing. My mom bought her first RAV 4 2020 vehicle. This could had not happened without the staff's diligence and optimistic attitude. Team Toyota is not only family friendly, but it is very professional. I made an appt for a battery and oil change. This is a 20 to 30 minute job and are two of the easiest services you can do to a car. This job for these guys took over 85 minutes. I will never come here again. Appt times here are just a joke apparently and they make no effort to make thing right.

Originally I had gave them 5 stars for the service, but today they showed how they really are. I bought a used corolla a little over a month ago from Amyla, and I noticed it had the TPMS light on indicating low tire pressure. When I asked about it, the salesman said it was just because of the cold weather. Makes sense. Well I filled them up and waited a week, light stays on. I came back and it was diagnosed as needing two sensors and it was about $400 for them to do. I asked service if they would take care of it because it was sold to me like that and they told me to talk to customer service, which was a guy named Bob. He told me this is why the warranty is needed and there is nothing they will do about it. They sold me a car with two faulty TPMS sensors and they refuse to fix it. Go to any other dealer who won t sell you cars with problems that they lie about and won t fix.

I purchased a 2018 Chevy Equinox from Team Toyota. Amyla Wooden was my sales consultant. She was extremely helpful every step of the way. From providing me with a filtered search based off of my interest to working closely with my lender to close in my short time line. Amyla kept open communication and even checked in a week later to see how I was enjoying the car. Even working with Michael in the end to sign all the paperwork was smooth and pleasurable. The only negative was the detailing of the car. The final wash/detailing was rushed and it smelt like cigar/cigarette smoke when I got it. It was extremely late so I didn't make a fuss about it. Also I don't have an owners manual. However Amyla did her do diligence to contact their sister Chevy dealer to see if they had one. I am definitely willing to come back and recommend Amyla Wooden!!!

Bob Gilmack one of the managers happened to be there and he answered some of our questions and gave us his card even though it was his day off. We returned on Friday and began our purchase with Jake Fleming who was very knowledgeable and great to work with. He knew what we wanted only showing us those cars. Jake Fleming was very patient and knowledgeable! Like other salesman, he doesn't try to sell you something to make commission. He is good at what he does. All of the customer service team at Team Toyota is very good I am always greeted by a smiling face and someone to answer my questions. We had our Camry serviced at Team Toyota and my car was always handled with care. I would recommend anyone looking for an affordable and good vehicle, visit this location. Dealership was a waste of time. They are friendly however very pushy. Salesmen come up to you as you are parking and immediately start pitching. We spent half the day sitting around waiting for numbers. We received a call back after leaving, just to come back to higher prices and told we need to "help them help us" Would not reccomend.

I am very happy with my experience with Team Toyota. I was in a car accident and my vehicle was totaled. I knew I wanted a 2017 or newer Highlander and living in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago thought I would not have a problem finding one close to home. I could not find one with the options, color or price that I wanted so I expanded my search and found one at Team Toyota. I got there a few minutes prior to the store opening and Rick G helped me right away. He was a great salesman to work with and the whole process was easy and pleasant. Also worked with Mike Anderson for the financing and paperwork part of the process and he too was extremely helpful and genuinely nice. I left the dealership feeling relieved, confident and beyond excited with the purchase of my 2017 Highlander.

Walk in to turn in my vehicle from a lease. Two different sales people ask if I need help and I say "just looking to turn in my lease, thank you." Wait in line at the desk for 10 minutes, gentleman at the desk tells me "have a seat we will be with you in 10-15 minutes." Mind you he never said who would get me, so I sit down for 30 minutes, while i am watching 2 of the gentleman chat, get up and get water, then continue to chat, pull his phone out look on that for a few minutes, so go up to the desk and am then told "we are too busy to take care of you." Yeah buddy, you look really busy to me goofing around. If you are that busy don't sit there and b.s. me to take a seat when you already knew you weren't going to help me. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I'll never buy another Toyota again.

i bought a used rav 4 off there lot. we went to a special yearly event they have where they mark down all the cars on the lot. well i thought someone else made the offer on the rav i wanted so i left.the next day all prices went back up. so i had to go back there with a friend and lo and behold the car was still there. i was upset because i left my number and let it be known i would come back that nite if the people didnt take it. so i grabbed my salesman and explained that i left my number and why didnt anyone call me back. i said i still wanted the rav but i knew the price went back up. my salesman went and explained to the manager and he said no, give it to her at the price she wanted.ya. they were very fair with me and i now have my rav4.also the manager had a part put on for me at no cost. who does that on a slightly used but still used car with no warranty.i was very pleased with team toyota,also i get 25.00 off my next service just for telling you all how pleased i was. thats a deal.

I purchased a brand-new prius in 2011 had all my services done there. about 4 yrs later I started having an oil leak with no explanation why, so I ended up adding oil more often, that wasn't cheep. needless to say after my warranty was up I YouTube how to change my own oil so I can save money because before it had to be done by a certified mechanic so I watched how easy and much cheaper it was. so I slide under my car for the first time in 6 yrs to find out the door cover for my oil filter and drain plug was missing. so I take off the drain plug and there was no gasket on the plug. explanation for the leak....ive also came up with 2 missing hub caps that they said they didn't have in there garage when I asked what happened to them. it's a shame that you cant even trust the dealerships.
