I am a loyal Toyota repeat customer and I was at the end of my Sienna lease and decided to purchase a preowned 2014 Corolla from a salesman named Arnie . I knew the Corolla had just been traded in and hadn t even had gone through a saftey inspection or been detailed yet. But I put $500 down, I signed my paperwork and arranged to meet Arnie a few days later to swap vehicles. After Arnie brought me the Corolla I noticed that it wasn t very clean and the oil change stickers (past due for oil change) were still the same as they were when I first looked at it. I called Arnie about it and rather than him offering to take care of it, he advised me to call the service department to schedule for an oil change. So I did so without complaining.

Before my appointment I had noticed that my tire pressure monitoring light had lit up on my dash. I made sure to let them know about it when I brought it in for my appointment. 30-45 minutes later, I was summoned to service department where they went over my service paperwork and balance. BALANCE??? They were trying to charge me for the initial oil change I thought used cars were supposed to get!!
I also asked them about the tire light and the Advisor had told me that THEY COULDN T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY TIRES. I give them credit for trying, but I wasn t charged for the oil change and went on my merry way.

Within a couple of weeks, the tire light came back on and my brother advised me to take it back in to get tires checked and he also mentioned that it might need a tire rotation. SO I BROUGHT IT IN AGAIN for the same problem and to get tires rotated. (I used a coupon they sent me in email) AGAIN, WE COULDN T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE TIRES .

Fast forward to a couple of weeks later when my boyfriend, who worked in the automotive industry for a number of years, flew out so that we could drive across country together to the West Coast where he lives. By that time, my TIRE LIGHT WAS ON AGAIN. He looked at my tires and said they were OLD, DRY ROTTED and that they were the ORIGINAL TIRES from when the car was new in 2014!!

We were on a deadline so we took it back to this place ONCE AGAIN to see if they could finally make it right. They put air in the tire and we were told WE COULDN T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE TIRES . So we told the man our concerns and he told us that they were closing soon and it was Saturday and that we d have to take it up with Sales on Monday. So we expressed our concerns to Arnie but he seemed uninterested in helping us plus we were already late leaving for our 2000 mile journey.

I had just spent $500 on down payment and we are both starting new careers and couldn t afford to buy tires so we bought a can of FixaFlat and a tire repair kit and prayed for the best.

We drove slow and extra cautiously and eventually made it with the tire light going off only once. My boyfriend inspected the tire and found that the tire that was leaking had been poorly patched. I texted Arnie about the situation shortly after and he would not reply.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend that YOU DONT CONSIDER THIS DEALERSHIP FOR YOUR NEXT PURCHASE. Here s why:

(1)They sold me a car that had OLD, DRY ROTTED TIRES with over 40,000 miles and 4 years on them.
(2) After having the car for several days after I signed, they brought it to me with unsafe tires and even the oil hadn t even been changed. So I highly doubt that they did any kind of SAFTEY INSPECTION on it. I m very fortunate I made it to my destination without a blowout.
(3) My salesman Arnie proved that he is only concerned about his customers before he makes a sale. I had to return to the dealership 3X with simple issues that should ve been handled before I even took the car.

Just walking through the doors was a positive experience. We saw the pool and hammock offers taking place and found it humorous but it showed that Toyota tries to give back to its customers. We then were greeted by Rick (Munster, IN). He made us feel very welcomed. He sat us down and asked a few questions that felt non-invasive. A lot of times, there are sales representatives that really try to dig in a little too deep. Rick asked a lot of good questions and gave us the opportunity to ask our own. He was very patient with us. We could really tell that he was really trying to work with us. He allowed us to test drive the car that we were interested in (Rav4 LE). He sat us down and we talked numbers. He appeared to be really considerate of our situation. I think what made us chose Toyota was the fact that he REALLY tried to meet us at eye level with what we were working with. My wife and I were really appreciative of his service. My sister is considering purchasing a new vehicle from Toyota. We have already shared our experience with her and will recommend Toyota and Rick for her future purchase.

I worked with 3 or 4 different staff during my visit, and everyone was exceedingly helpful and friendly. Bob helped my family and I pick out a Camry, and was also very knowledgeable about all questions we had regarding the various SUV models Toyota has to offer. He even brought my 3-yr-old bouncing daughter some balloons and popcorn to keep her occupied during the process. Mike was also very helpful getting my paperwork done and answering any financial/insurance questions I had. The whole team sent me off with applause and smiling faces (something I really wasn't expecting). My wife and I will definitely be return customers!

Team Toyota has proved to me that they are one of the best dealerships in my area. I have purchased three cars from them in the past twenty years and have not been disappointed. The service manager and service techs have proved themselves over and over again. The sales force, whether the sale person I used or just one of them on the floor, have been helpful when asking questions or just being friendly. I recommend them to anyone looking for new or used car.

Recently went to Toyota after visiting several other dealers. Kind of had my heart set on an Accord but thought I'd just see what they had before I made up my mind. My salesman was Said Mohummad and he was amazing. I test drove a Camry and a Corolla which were both equally as nice as the Accord. Only difference was, a savings of three to five thousand dollars. Best of all, I felt no pressure, there weren't numbers and monthly payments or upsales being thrown at me to the point of confusion. I felt like I was getting an honest deal from an honest man that went out of his way to stay within my budget. Not once did he try the typical "for just $50 a month more..." pitch. Furthermore, he was beyond patient when I kept changing my mind. If you are looking for a dependable car at a reasonable rate without having to wonder if you're getting screwed, go to Toyota and see this guy. You'll walk away feeling like you got the advantage which never happens with car dealers! Highly recommend you give them a try before you decide on anything else.

Do not believe any of these reviews they are all fake!!! I took in a Prius that just needed a tune-up but they try to rip me off I agree to pay the $130 diagnostic fee that they never completed because they came back to me and said that I need a new battery in order to complete the test. you would think that they'll have some test batteries if there was an issue with my battery to finish their own tests. Long story short they wanted $130 diagnostic fee plus $350 for a battery without the tune up that was actually the problem. I went to Pep Boys they did an amazing job I got an oil change and tune-up for around $200.

If you into getting ripped off then by all means I highly recommend this place

I'm on my 4th car purchased or leased from Team Toyota and my family and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Jacob Flemming is my salesman and his sales manager Mike are always working hard to get my family a great deal that's good for us all. My service guy at Team Toyota is Juan Garcia and he is amazing at setting up my service appointments and getting the work that's needed done right and in a timely manner. Again, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

We were in search of a used van. We found a model we liked online through searching. Team Toyota responded quickly by email and a a follow-up phone call. They were up front about their vehicles and asking price. We visited them on a Saturday and was treated great by their staff. Hector was friendly and allowed us the time to make our decision to purchase or not. Once we committed to the price the process began. Melissa was friendly and helpful to drawing us to this dealership in the first place.

The overall experience was friendly and comfortable. The downside was the extended wait time we had once we decided to purchase to the point of closing the deal. We waited nearly 2 hours to finalize our purchase.

I purchased a 2020 4Runner from Said Mohammed a few weeks ago. I decided to wait before writing a review because its not something i normally do. I have to say i have been more that satisfied with the vehicle and the buying experience. Said was easy to work with and we came to an agreement that satisfied both of us. He also walked me through the many bells and whistles that the 4Runner comes equipped with!! The showroom is clean as is the waiting room for service. I bought a Brand new 2016 Sienna, I had a flat on my tire. I called and was told that the service department closed at 7:30 pm and if I can get there by 7:15pm the vehicle would be serviced. I get there at 7:15pm and I'm told by the service Manager(?) that they close the service Dept. at 7:00pm. The door sign says service Dpt. closes at 7:30 pm, but by 7:15pm all the techs are gone. I'm told to come back tomorrow, I have a flat! I will never go back to that service department, I'll stick to Merrillville, its a drive for me but at least their service has been more reliable.

My overall experience was fantastic. From start to finish it was very quick, the sales associate Michael Anderson was very thorough in answering all of my questions, as well as informing me on all the features and benefits of the option I was choosing. I ended up going with the 2012 Limited Edition Camry SE & am extremely happy with my decision. I ended up getting all kinds of extra awesome features with this car that I wasn't even looking for but am sooo glad I have now. I don't know how I lived without built-in Navi before! It is sooooo easy to just push a button, type in where you need to go, and bam it takes you there. I never realized what a hassle my old dash-top hand-held gps device was until I got this car. Needless to say I have an extra gps I will be donating to a friend or someone that needs it because this car renders that old thing useless. They even gave me a great trade in value, more than expected, for the car I was trading in. I am being required to mention that they have offered me free wiper blades for posting this review, but honestly wiper blades alone aren't exactly something worth lying for right? So you can be sure that this truly is my honest opinion and I will be going back to them if I ever need anything again in the future. I have already recommened Team Toyota & Micheal Anderson to all of my facebook friends and family members who are looking to purchase a new car in the future. This was by far the easiest and best car purchasing experience I've had to date.

The check-in process is smooth and the waiting area is comfortable with complementary snacks and coffee. They were willing to take it back and make the best deal possible on a replacement. Not all dealerships would be willing to do that. I love the new location too!

No issues with servicing the vehicle, I would give them 4.5/5 stars. However, you are much better off purchasing a new vehicle from one of the more competitive Chicago area dealerships. Case in point, I have negotiated the exact same model, color, options, etc. with these guys vs. Toyota on Western. Drive off the lot price of $30,000 at team Toyota vs. $26,000 at Toyota on Western. However, they at least answered my questions relatively honestly. Passive-Aggressive, but honest. Do not even consider Plant Toyota in Illinois, very shady sales tactics that waste your time.

Top to bottom, the team there is great. A perfect balance of letting me know what I need to know and not ramming unwanted deals and offers down my throat. Each and every question I had, of which there were many, was answered fully and transparently. An excellent first time buying experience.

The Scion Pure Price feature is my only complaint, though it has little to do with the Toyota dealership. If you're looking into a Scion, be aware that the Pure Price is absolutely not negotiable. A benefit if you don't want to deal with negotiation, but a disappointment otherwise.

When you find the right service professional for you, you can't help but get excellent service.

I've been going to Team Toyota for many years, and I ask for the service professional that I clicked with. I've never regretted it.

If I have a problem, I call and ask for my service professional, Juan Garcia, send he takes care of everything.

If Juan isn't available and I get the service manager, he answers all of my questions and concerns. With a team like that, you simply can't go wrong.

Find your service professional, form a professional relationship and never be disappointed. Team Toyota has your back.
