Brian made the car buying experience as easy as possible with no hassle. I emailed Brian and let him know I was interested in a vehicle they had posted online, he quickly responded to my email with more information on the vehicle as well as a exclusive online price. After showing the information to my wife, I responded to Brian again letting him know I wanted to look at the vehicle. Again he responded promptly and had the vehicle waiting for me to look over when I arrived at the dealership.

Brian went over all aspects of the vehicle with my wife and I. Once we looked over the vehicle he asked if I was interested in the car. It was exactly what my wife and I needed so we proceeded to buy the vehicle. Brian ensured the process was as hassle free as possible. Since this was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle he had printed off the Car fax before I could ask for it. We went over the report and found it to be clean. After words we discussed all financing options and he worked out a great deal for us.

During the whole experience Brian ensured that not only I but my wife and kids were taken care of. Offering them drinks and even offered the kids pizza (this was before we even started looking at purchasing the car). During the whole process Brian ensured that I understood every aspect of the purchase and was good with all parts of it before proceeding. This was the best car buying experience I ever had. I did not feel once that I was being taken advantage of and would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends and any one else who is looking to buy a car. Brian will provide you with a no bull, down to earth, car buying experience.

5 stars to the sales team, and especially Gifferdlee. I visited Tallahassee Dodge just to browse, but ended leaving with my dream car. Gifferdlee found me my perfect match in a gorgeous used SRT8 Challenger. He made the process painless and financing was easy. If he wasn't on staff that day, I wouldn't have my car now! Go ask for him and don't even bother with other dealerships!

Edit: we returned to purchase a new Jeep and Chas helped us out. He not not only found us a great deal on our Jeep, but also helped refinancing our Challenger! Another outstanding experience at our favorite dealership!

We live 2 hours away and made it to the dealership less than 30 minutes before closing. Everyone was very accommodating with a smile. Jimmy Jefferson assisted us and was wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend Tallahassee Dodge when buying your next vehicle.

I was blown away @ the way that Jimmy Jefferson helped me through the buying experience. When I first came in, I felt that I didn't quite have all of my ducks in a row. But I also felt that Jimmy Jefferson didn't treat me like a chump who didn't deserve to walk through the door.
I really appreciate that..
He understood what I was trying to do, what my situation was, & what my new car needs were. AND HE DID NOT TRY TO CHANGE MY MIND, even when it meant fighting for me to get the higher model @ a price we could live with.
Here's my recommendation: if you go to Tallahassee Dodge, you need to make an appointment with Jimmy Jefferson. If he is not available, come back when he is. He is the man to deal with, PERIOD.

UPDATE: After speaking with MOPAR, they confirmed...

UPDATE: After speaking with MOPAR, they confirmed my protection plan is still active, which means the dealership STILL hasn't cancelled it so the refund for my totaled vehicle can be sent to my bank. Now, to avoid late fees or a negative mark on my credit, I will have to pay out of pocket for both my car note on my new car AND this remaining balance this month. And (shocker) I still cannot get their business team on the phone or to give me a straight answer.

ORIGINAL POST: This rating is specifically for their business department. My RAM 1500 was totaled in a tornado in March. All of the necessary paperwork was filed and with my insurance and GAP to get it paid off. The only refund outstanding is for my MOPAR protection; everything else was paid by mid-April. I cannot get a straight answer as to where they are in getting my service with MOPAR cancelled (MOPAR said it was STILL active and needed to be closed by the dealership before the refund could be processed). Now, I can't even get a simple response to emails for a status update. Personally, it feels like I'm purposefully being ignored/pushed to the back-burner because I continue to contact them for a response. Now, I have a payment due in a few days on the auto loan for that truck in addition to the auto loan I'm paying on my new vehicle. All I want is to know is why my service is still active months after I've submitted everything for it to be closed; when it will be cancelled; and when the final refund will be sent to my bank so I can finally close this loan and try to move on from the painful memory of that night the tornado hit us.

I wish there were a choice for zero or negative stars for this dealership. I took my truck there for an alignment (which was under warranty) I was told 3 DAYS LATER, when I called to ask about it and kept getting the run around and finally talking to the service manager that my truck would not be fixed because I had different tires and wheels on it and it would void the warranty. mind you these tires are 1in taller than factory which WILL NOT void the warranty and not to mention the Ram service advisor saw my truck when I dropped it off and said it would be no problem and if my dually didn't fit on the rack they would take it to sirmons alignment (who normally does their alignments anyways). Walking out of the dealership I hear someone tell me the dealers alignment rack was messed up and not working. Well why wouldn't ya'll have taken my truck to a real alignment shop to begin with anyways instead of giving me the run around for 3 days AND making me have to call the manager to see why my truck is still parked in the same place it was the day I left it. Honestly just sounds like the dealership was just lazy and didn't want to do the work, which clearly they didn't, but not even to make the effort to take it to the other shop 1/2 mile up the road. So now I'm out with the money for parts and alignment when they should've paid for it. Never again will my truck go on that property. I'll take it to any dealer but Tally DCJ!

Frustrating, is the word I would use regarding this experience. I found a vehicle on there internet site and contacted them regarding purchasing this vehicle. I asked if the vehicle was still available which I was told it was and made an apponitment to go and evaluate this unit in 2 hours time. Upon arrival I was informed that the person I spoke with on the phone was unavailable. After a sales staff went to check regarding my request he returned and informed me the unit I inquired about had sold 20 minutes before my arrival. Really, 20 minutes? I should have ran the red lights to expediate my arivall. So, now the sales staff wants to show me a newer vehicle that costs more than the 18K (cash) I was willing to pay. I suddenly thought of the old tactic of "bait & switch". Frustrated and unhappy I left the dealership at that time. The unit is still on the web site as available.

I had a fabulous experience. Dominique Cargile was my salesperson. I called ahead to let him know what I was looking for, the specific things I needed, and the color. When I arrived the next day, I saw the most gorgeous deep red Grand Cherokee waiting for me to test drive. It was absolutely awesome. He showed me all the apps, how to use them, explained the Eco system and what to expect when I came to a stop. The others who were a part of this deal are 5 stars as well. I would highly recommend the drive from Pensacola to buy your next vehicle at this dealer.

I went to Tallahassee Dodge Chrysler Jeep just to look at what kind of cars were offered for sale and to just check prices. I was met by a really nice person Robert Davis. Mr. Davis was so helpful as he walked with me and discussed the cars, price range I was looking for, and the possibilities that existed with the dealership. I had no intention of actually buying at that particular time as my credit is damaged and I realistically did not think that a payment could be arranged that I would be comfortable with and could fit in my budget. When I looked at the Chevy Sonic that I did purchase I was thinking I would not be able to purchase it that day but Mr. Davis assured me that there were possibilities. Mr. Davis worked his "Magic" and I did buy the Sonic with no money down I might add (another thing I did not think was possible). The entire staff were courteous, kind, and did not pressure me at all. This was something I did not think existed in the car selling world but this dealership proved me wrong and I am glad they did. The finance team worked hard and found a bank that would grant me the money needed to purchase at a payment I could afford. The finance team also went above and beyond and when I went to pick up the Sonic the next day they had even more good news with a slightly lower payment than initially agreed upon. All I can tell anyone who reads this review is that if you want to be treated as a person and not just a dollar sign go to this dealership and find out what I did; they have a great team, reasonably priced cars, and provide an absolutely wonderful experience when buying a car. Thank you Mr. Davis and the entire team at Tallahassee Dodge Chrysler Jeep you have a customer for life and I would highly recommend you all.

We've taken our vehicles there several times for maintenance. I guess since they are the only Dodge dealer in town that there is no sense of "earning" your business. Spoke with someone today about getting a vehicle in because the entire touchscreen went out that controls radio, climate control, etc. and when we turn the vehicle off the gauges continue to draw from the battery. Earliest they could get to it was almost a week and there was no remorse or apology. I felt it was a this is what we can do take it or leave it. Frustrating!!!!

Absolutely the slowest mechanics and terrible serv...

Absolutely the slowest mechanics and terrible service center I have ever visited. Were impossible to reach to get info on car I dropped off after 5 days just to learn no one had even touched the car yet and it would be another 5 days before they could even hook a diagnostic up to it to tell us what was wrong in the first place. Now I took it to another mechanic and so far, dodge has sent over two wrong codes for a part being installed. I love dodge vehicles to death but I cannot stand not having my car for weeks at a time due to them not communicating or sending the correct parts to the guy that's trying to fix something they couldn't. Be prepared to wait if you do any work to your car here.

Complaint: I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Paul at Tallahassee Dodge to have the following maintenance issues/requests serviced:
Recall: Alternator Diode Thermal Fatigue
Coolant flush
A/C not emitting cold air as it should be car jerks upon stopping.

When I checked in with Mr. Paul at 7:45 am, his computer apparently erased my information in the system. (Previously, I set up an appointment online, but it was somehow erased as well.) I asked Mr. Paul, how long do you expect this will take? He said, About 2 hours. Initially, I asked for a shuttle ride to my house, then changed my mind because I had brought my study material with me, thinking I was killing two birds with one stone. Around 10:45 am, I paused my studies to see the status of my car. The response I received was we re still trying to figure out your A/C issue. (I gave them an hour of extra time to assess my car). The time now is 12:40 pm and no updates yet. Yes, I could ve taken a shuttle to my house, but Mr. Paul could have been more realistic and been honest. If what I originally scheduled to have done was going to take all day, then just tell me. At 12:45 pm, Mr. Paul approaches me in the waiting room (should be renamed: Sit here while we lie to you room), for a summary of my services. Not once did he apologize for misinforming me of the time this was supposed to take. Furthermore, where I was sitting in the waiting room, I had a direct line of sight of Mr. Paul at his desk. As I was headed to the cashier s office to pay, I inquired about a possible discount due to the situation. Mr. Paul stated that he could not give me a discount. Attempting to further discuss my dissatisfaction about the service, Mr. Eddie (Service Director) intervenes and stated that when Mr. Paul said, about 2 hours, that timeframe was for the mechanics to actually get my car, not begin the services that I requested. Despite all of this, not once did they apologize for miscommunicating. It seems as though I was not valued as a customer, they just wanted my money.

When I ask if I can make an appointment, they say I can't and I just have to leave my car with them. When I ask how long they will have my car, they say it could be 4 or 5 days. Really?

Recently came in to look at a future car, but after being helped by "Parker", I was thoroughly unimpressed with the customer service. The inventory was phenomenal, the ambiance of the facility was great, but Parker seemed very new, unexperienced, and not ready for a job of this severity. I will definitely go back, but will not interact with Parker again. I hope he improves a salesman or DCJ will suffer because of it.

Best car buying experience I've ever had. Chas and Phil made sure I found the car I was searching for. They went above and beyond to ensure I was able to take car home and not exceed my budget. Anita in finance was awesome and patient through a few kinks along the way. The entire experience never felt pressured. Never felt awkward. At the end of the day, I drove away feeling like I was part of the family. The atmosphere at dealership is upbeat and I will definitely be back for future car purchases. Best dealership in Tally!

The single most horrible car buying and customer s...

The single most horrible car buying and customer service experience I have ever had. My husband and I were shopping for a used car and chose to buy from a "reputable" dealer in hopes that they wouldn't sell us a dud. Within 24 hours of buying this vehicle the check engine light came on. The dealership left all of the previous owners personal information in the glove compartment and we were able to contact the previous owners via facebook and verify that the check engine light was indeed on when the car was brought in. We brought the vehicle back, they replaced the EGR valve and ensured us that absolutely nothing was wrong with the car, they even went as far as to say that the check engine light would remain on because of the exhaust system the previous owner had put on (something they pulled out of their ass). A few weeks later the car completely cut off in the middle of the road twice with no warning. We took the car back again and they told us it was the EGR valve again. When we informed them that they had supposedly just replaced that, they said that they had replaced the oxygen sensor, not the EGR valve. A few days later it was discovered that they were looking up the wrong car and we were correct. After they replaced the EGR valve for the second time, they said that the car was doing the same thing and they would need to keep it for further diagnostics. A week later we called them and they informed us that the car had major electrical problems, and that this was the reason that the check engine light was on the whole time. They told us we would need to replace the PCM for $800.00. At this point we no longer trusted this dealership and felt as though they were guessing as to what was wrong with the car and thank GOD we did. Our mechanic informed us that the car needed engine mounts because the entire engine was tilted and it had absolutely nothing to do with the PCM. How dodge would not notice something like this is beyond me. We received a copy of the paperwork of the repairs and also realized that no safety inspection was done on the car prior to us purchasing this vehicle. SCARY.....not only will they turn a check engine light off to sell the vehicle, they also may not even safety inspect the car...YIKES. where is the accountability and integrity in the dealership? It's non-existant. We then met with the manager Scott, whom is one of the most uneducated, worthless human beings I have ever come across, to dicuss the repair paperwork. First thing when we sat down with him he stated that he did not know why we were here, and what our point was, but that they would not be paying for the repairs on this vehicle. He said the car was an as is car (which by the way, I didn't know as is means you can turn off the check engine light in the car). He also said by law they don't have to do a safety inspection, which is very worrisome. When I informed him how unsatisfied I was with their customer service and how I would be writing a review, he shrugged his shoulders and said "go ahead". If you were thinking about buying a vehicle or having your car repaired here, run far away and take your business elsewhere. How people can treat others like this and lay their head on the pillow at night and sleep I'll never understand. If I can save anyone from the experience we've had here, then I've done something right. I was told I would be contacted by the GM, but in all honesty, if they are anything like the rest of the staff at this dealership, then it's a total waste of my time. I have put up flyers in all of the break rooms at the 2 major hospitals here in Tallahassee and tried to let everyone I know about this horrific experience. Now as a full time college student with a family, working part time I am having to put thousands of dollars into a lemon I was sold by Tallahassee dodge, chrysler, Jeep....AWESOME.

I had a window of about 90 minutes to complete the on-site transaction and informed Brian of this on arrival - he got me out the door in my new Durango in 80 minutes!

The dealership here in Tallahassee has a terrible service department. They never answer the phone and when I drove out there, the department was rude. I was considering buying a new jeep but I won't do it as long as I live in Tallahassee.

I just came to Tallahasse Dodge for a software update on my car, and Kate Moody, who works in service, helped me far more than anyone from Dodge or other dealers ever has. If you have trouble, come here! Their service department is fast, convenient, and does superior work! ... AND ... they are OPEN Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM! Five thumbs up! ...

I'm here again on 2/05/20, and once AGAIN they are GREAT! Dropping off car for full service and tires, and they're just so efficient! I like I can call in my payment and pick up my car after service hours are over. It's not a loaner car, but it keeps my from having to use my leave time from work for this! This review is for service after the sell. Buyers BEWARE!!!
My wife and I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited brand new from this dealership. It has been meticulously maintained, by this dealership. Keep in mind, we drive from Marianna, over a hour away to allow this dealership to maintain this vehicle since it was purchased from them and to allow them every opportunity to provide customer service after the sale.
Fortunately, we have enjoyed 62,000 miles without issue. Unfortunately, powertrain warranty expires on this year model at 60,000 miles.
Prior to 60,000 miles check engine light comes on. Was not able to get to the dealership prior to rolling past 60,000 miles.
So here we are, at 62,000 miles at the dealership with what they have diagnosed as a "bad cylinder head that will have to be replaced". The 3.6l head defect is well known and documented. Jeep even provided an extended warranty on 2011 through 2013 year models because of this and is currently under a class action law suit because of the head issue. This dealership does not deny any of this but states "Not their issue" but states this is a corporate issue. Yet, they are the ones selling the product with known defects and does not disclose this to their customers.
I gave this dealership the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service by given them customer loyalty after the sale, however, this dealership refused to step up when it is their turn to do their part.
I will not spend another penny at this dealership and would suggest caution to any others that is choosing to conduct business here.

First off I had an appointment the previous day bu...

First off I had an appointment the previous day but had to cancel. I then rescheduled the appointment for the next day(today). I pulled up and there is a group of sales associates. One walks over to me . I tell him I have an appointment with another specialist. He goes to get her. Mind you I texted her while I was in the parking lot to let her know I was there for our appointment. She replied to my text saying she would meet me in the front. He comes back saying she's tied up with a few things. Red flags go off. He then walks us to his desk with the print out of the vehicle I was there to check out. He goes on to tell us that the vehicle was sold the day before. I thanked him then left. I wasn't interested in anything they had to offer.. I at this point am confused. So the sales specialist I set the appointment with knew it was sold she never mentioned that. Not to mention she set the appointment then claimed to be so busy. I'm very disappointed. All she had to do was say this prior to my appointment and I would have been open to see what was there. I felt lied to and think that this establishment is very unprofessional. Buying a vehicle is very important, you can't even trust this dealership on something small I can only imagine the major issues.
