Orders take one month to ship when i am one hour away from this store. Company has gotten too greedy to shop there anymore. Support your honest LOCAL shops not this pathetic operation.
Very disappointed in Tackle Warehouse. I spent an hour with a friend who is an accomplished fisherman who helped me fill my shopping cart with nearly $800 worth of gear. I was later contacted by a Tackle Warehouse representative who said they would not complete and ship my order because I was shipping to my lake house, which is a different address than my credit card billing address. Even their supervisor would not try and find a solution. There are ways to ensure this was not a fraudulent order, but they would not take the time to figure this out. I give them an "F" for customer support. They also immediately cancelled my login account I had created from a previous order.
Good product lineup. Customer service was helpful. Online ordering is easy and they provide good information on their items descriptions. I must admit, they do a really good job marketing. The website is easy to navigate and they provide competitive pricing.
I wrote a review about a fishing rod and the company won't even post it. I guess they don't want any negative reviews to show up against anyone they have on their site.
My first order ever, I had ordered about $50 worth of lures. After reading a few reviews, people had complaints of slow shipping. I decided to go ahead and give them a shot. 6 days after my order was purchased, the tracking still showed that it was ready for UPS. So I sent an email to TW expressing my concern and wanted action to be taken while also threatening the loss of my business. I expressed that I expected a prompt response and if no sense of urgency was taken then I would be taking my business elsewhere. AND I would be sure to let others know opening the door for a potential loss of current and or future customers. After about 3 hours I received an email from TW showing concern about my issue and they agreed to cancelling my current order (at this time my order had been received by UPS) and they would over night a new order. And they did just that. I received my order within 24 hours after my first email to TW. I must say, despite bad reviews, TW cares about their customer satisfaction and did what they said they would do. Im completely satisfied and will absolutely buy from them again. They also have a very large selection and best prices out there. Thank you TW, you guys are awesome.
They couldn't spool my spinning reel for me but did recommend some fluorocarbon line and gave me some good tips for how to do it myself. Thanks for the line recommendation guys! Tight lines.
Love this place they have a great variety and great prices. I live in South Africa and have to pay a minimum of $80 shipping, but after adding shipping, import tax and handling my orders generally end up cheaper than I would have paid in our local stores (that's if the local store has what I want). My packages generally get delivered within a week of order confirmation and is hassle free. I would have given a 5 star rating, but on my last order I received a fishing rod with a blocked guide and I never got any feedback from my queries. Luckily I could make a plan to unblock the rod.
Ordered a rod from them a week ago it was suppose to be here next day still havent received it cause supposedly ups lost the package and the wont even send out a replacement for another week I think that's bs thier shipping company lost the package they should send a replacement out and deal with ups on the other one. Even one of thier employees said on new years eve they could send out a replacement today and I call and get told no that I have to wait and 8 days..
The prices are great! Much Much cheaper than the big box stores... Service and turn around is excellent! They work hard to make me happy and the communication is amazing... unlike the others! They earn my business every single time! Love this place!
They are the worst tackle shop and they have terrible service, very rude! I called at 3:50 and asked for their adress and mentioned I was going to come in and buy a cast net.... when I show up 5 minutes later they say they are closed and slam the door shut in our face! If your in Morro bay or SLO don't go their GO to another shop such as Jerrys Marine and tackle or Morro Bay Landing!! Anywhere but here they are the worst tackle shop and we're sooooo rude to my little son!!!!!!
Ordered an Abu Garcia Orra Winch baitcaster, a 13 Inception baitcaster, and some Ned rig plastics and jigheads. Great selection, great prices, some items I haven't been able to find anywhere else. For orders over $50, they have free standard shipping, $5 two day shipping, and $10 next day. Check out their demo reel program, where they let you test a reel out for a week for a deposit that gets refunded when you send it back.
Also, don't understand the people saying they couldn't ship to an address different from their billing address. I did this with no problem, no questions asked.
Nothing like receiving a fn broke rod in the mail.. the tip was in wrapper it was broken and was sent anyway I guarantee .. never use them again ... I'll use tackle addict
I am seriously so dissatisfied with tackle warehouse. We ordered some cool stuff for our boys Easter baskets and paid for shipping that ensured arrival on time. Well the shipping company that tackle warehouse employs tried 4 times to deliver goods to wrong address in wrong zip code . I called 4 times to both places trying to talk to someone . No one there. No response only a email stating for me to call shipping company after tacklewherehouse received my multiple emails. Finally today on 3 ed email and 10 calls I get a email from tackle warehouse that calls shipping company and told them they had a valid address. So nonetheless goods will not be here in time and not even a apology from tackle warehouse.
Best prices, fast shipping, huge selection, and flawless website design. Definitely will be using this place more often rather than our over priced shops here in town...
My experience here was great! I walked in with zero knowledge of ocean fishing or the San Luis Obispo area, and the employees there showed me some simple tackle that I needed to get started. They also showed me a map of local fishing spots, and drew a diagram of how to set up a Carolina rig. Thanks to them I caught my first ocean fish! Thanks guys!
tackle warehouse solved my problem very fast and Im extremely impressed with customer service. I didn t think they would care but they went far beyond my expectations to fix my problem.
Used to have great service but the last few orders have had products missing, or damaged, and they refuse to take responsibility for their screw ups. I ll never use them again

Great staff! We needed to visit as we are from MN, and I order online multiple times per year. They gave me a tour of the warehouse an talked fishing. Well worth the visit.
They lie when your shipment is getting shipped and they don't communicate well with each other. They kept telling me that they where going to ship it the next day but it took them two days to finally ship it and now it's been more than 6 days since it got shipped and still no product. I only live about two hours away. Last time I got my product in 2 days. Worse experience
Embarrassment. Would not ship to alternate address for first time customers and I'm not paying $22 international shipping when I'm 20 minutes from the border. Customer service useless. Prices are decent though.
Unfortunately, I had to put one star to write this review. I have been a customer for the past 8 years, I made a purchase of $499.31. One of my items I ordered, was not in a acceptable condition, understood. So, they double charged my card, because of that reason, who knows why. When I called to get an explanation, I was greeted with sarcasm, and asked for the manager. Well no wonder, he had the same tone, and that being charged twice, was not a big issue. We all have a huge passion for fishing, and we spend our hard earned money to buy tackle, etc. Now, I have to wait up to 5 days for my money, to be put back In my account. I am very disappointed at the lack of customer service, to make it right. Wether, that be them taking care of the shipping fee, a little something , something for my troubles, but no not even an apology. I will never purchase from tackle warehouse, again. Poor management, poor quality/inventory control. Good luck to anyone, who wishes to purchase from them.
The largest inventory of bass fishing tackle, lowest price guarantee, on my porch by 10:30 am the next day. TW & GSO have been consistent. I've only had 1 problem out of approximately 50 orders.(Impressive) One time I received a broken rod. (I assume it happened during shipping) TW customer service questioned my integrity, which I had to defend, before they sent a replacement. I can understand why but it still ruffled my feathers a little. It's the downside of ordering online that will always be there.

Normally really good things to say about this place, but been having issues with their online system lately. The last order got shipped by the wrong delivery option and to the wrong address. Maybe holiday issues, but they weren't much help and refused to accept responsibility. Make sure you triple check your order details or you could have the same issues I did.
You respond and offer to help now ,but yet your representatives I talked to were rude and unwilling to accept responsibility or help when I called about this matter?
I have bought most of my tackle from TW for the last 2 years. For the first time, They sent the wrong size of a few lure so I returned to get the right size. After 2 months of waiting I reached out. They lost the return. Customer Service said there is nothing they could do.
I have been ordering from TW for years. Recently I ordered a rod and when I attached the reel, the seat broke immediately. (manufacturer defect) They could have made me go through the manufacturer warranty, but instead they said "No problem, send it back and we'll ship you a new one or refund you right away." Never had any issues with shipping or anything. I would buy local if I could, but you just can't beat the prices and selection of TW. Thanks guys.
I have had nothing but incredible service from Tackle Warehouse! I love there online shopping format... super easy to use and purchase gear. What ever or when ever I order something, it always arrives within 2-3 days. Also, the Tackle Warehouse return policy is great! I ve purchased some defective products over the years... just send em back and TW will send a replacement without question! This is how a company is supposed to run. I ve looked at other online fishing gear companies... non even come close to Tackle Warehouse.
They are always late on shipping. I ordered a package from them and another site the other I choose 7-10 day shipping and Tackel warehouse was supposed to be overnight, the other package is coming in before theirs and It came from across the country.Never got a package overnight like they say always 3 days late or more. Not satisfied don t think I will be ordering from them ever again. Wouldn t suggest then to anyone.
Love this store. Don't expect a Bass Pro retail experience since they do 99% of there business online but if you fish bass this is the place to go. If you're local it's best to place your order online and select in store pickup at checkout.

I always buy my fishing gears here and nowhere else. Can always depend on these guys. The only thing i would change about this company is the shipping process. I put extra money for an overnight day priority but didnt get here til few days later but they still refunded me the amount.
This company used to be good. Recently they have been shipping incomplete orders. I emailed the customer service to find out why I was getting incomplete orders. The customer service person was indifferent and never even tried to answer my questions. Instead he/she ignored the question and implies that a 60 percent accuracy rate was no problem. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the employee completely stopped responding. I think they are either to big or to busy to care. Obviously customer service has no supervision. I guess I will spen my hard earned cash elsewhere.

I don't understand any of the bad reviews on this place. Their website is the bomb! I've placed multiple orders and they have all been fine, wether shipping to to my home in Dallas or my lakehouse in east Texas. I plan to buy from here all the time. Their prices are right in line with what you'd pay at Bass Pro or Cabelas, but the selection is much better. One thing that would be nice though, is that if you get a free t-shirt for spending $100, then for spending $200 plus you ought to be able to get the long sleeve for free. Anyway, 5 stars all the way for me.
I have placed at least one order a month for many years now, and have never had an issue. I'm still blown away with how quickly and how accurate my orders have been handled. I have always shipped to a different address other than my billing address. I love this Place.
Let me start by saying that this is basically the best priced place I ve found to buy fishing gear; especially when on sale. That said, it comes with a slight price. The management, from what I can tell, is horrible. The company policies don t make sense and they contradict each other. When you speak to someone on the phone, they will never admit that you re right (though they may try to help solve your issue nonetheless - likely because they realize they are wrong but the employees seem to have little to no discretionary power either).
The best example of this is their ridiculous credit card checking policy. If you re buying something, and expect 2 day or even overnight shipping that you pay for, you can forget about it. It doesn t matter if you ve spent 200 or 200,000$ there previously, they don t trust the client, only their credit card verification scheme. So, if you ve lost your credit card, and are looking for some fast tackle to take care of an emergency (break or loss or critical kit in a tournament) FORGET IT! This is not the place for you.
However, if you re willing to wait (maybe months in some back order cases) for your gear, and have plenty of time, definitely the best prices.
Just don t expect them to take an actual good look at their policies and standard operating procedures to improve them, they won t; if you send them an email with suggestions, don t expect a follow-up. They seem very satisfied with mediocrity, which is fine if you have the time to wait after that.
