We purchased a vehicle from Sun Toyota on March 6t...

We purchased a vehicle from Sun Toyota on March 6th and it has been a horrible experience post sale. The vehicle was at a sister location which was transported down no problems but when we went to pick up the vehicle we were told all we needed were the keys and to leave the keys to our trade and we'd be good to go.

Firstly, the deal was NOT done at the time of pick up yet the took our trade and released the car anyway. We called multiple times to find out what the status of everything was, where our paperwork was and what is taking so long to get it to us. Come to find out, the finance manager did not get all the information he needed and never finalized any of the paperwork including sending the lender our information to approve and finalize our loan.

At one point, the person on the other end told us NOT to drive the vehicle we just purchased since we dont yet own it. Flash forward a few days - We drove down to talk to someone in person and finally got our loan paperwork and everything else thinking that was the last thing we had to do.

Nope. On the contract we signed, SunToyota wrote down that the pay off was scheduled for March 20th for our trade. Flash forward to today, 4/10 and our trade has still not been paid off. WE HAD TO MAKE A PAYMENT ON A CAR WE NO LONGER OWN BECAUSE SUN TOYOTA DRAGGED THEIR FEET ON OUR DEAL FOR SO LONG. They didnt care saying "Oh you'll get a refund" blah blah blah. Thats not the point TYLER (the person we worked with), the point is that we are now out a car payment and left with extreme frustration about the whole thing and no one, NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON has apologized for the inconvenience which at this point is moot.

If you buy a car from them beware. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Our family has purchased cars from them for as long as they've been open and get our vehicles serviced there but we'll no longer be recommending or buying from them again.
