I needed to replace one flat tire, but the other three were pretty much expired as well. My service writer not only introduced me to a set of new tires that were at a good price, but he had one tire replaced under warranty at no charge (except $1.07 for disposal fee) and gave me 10% off the entire order on top of that (four tires, 4 wheel alignment, and adjusting rear drum brakes). Out the door $507.00! I highly recommend Sun Toyota to anyone wanting great service and competitive prices.

My experience at Sun Toyota was a hoot, I came in with a complicated up side down situation because I only had my jeep 4 month never a deal to big or to small for these guys. My sales person David was so up beat and went the extra mile for this grandmother. John in finance put a sweet deal together for me with his winning smile. I look forward to future trades . I went in to look at a particular used vehicle and was immediately ambushed buy an incoherent salesman, explained my circumstance to him and how much I was willing to spend and it was as if he never heard me he just kept walking around the lot aimlessly trying to put me into cars that I had absolutely no interest in. Ask about running my credit and I told him only one time and that's it I did not want it ran through multiple Banks and he promised that he would not, he ran at one time and again we could not come to an agreement on any vehicles therefore I said I did not want to purchase one and we parted ways nearly two weeks later they ran my credit again multiple times without my permission no phone calls no signature no nothing their excuse was we wanted to get you in the car that you wanted even though I went there looking for a used Ford pickup truck I never got to see the vehicle I went to look for and I never gave them permission to run my credit again let alone two weeks later. They told me that they would take care of it if I had the credit companies or the facilities that they contacted contact them and they would say they did it accidentally even though the actuality is they did it on purpose very knowingly very intentionally. long story short I have been jumping through hoops ever since then nobody at their facility is willing to sign or write on anything stating that they did this even on an accident my only option now is do take more time out of my day and $15 out of my pocket to hire a company to dispute it for me. I would not recommend sun Toyota do anybody for any reason oh, there may be some good people within there's facility but I could tell you that everyone I have encountered did not know their jobs they did not listen to my request and they do not in any way shape or form take care of their mistakes! I purchased a sequoia through them years ago and paid cash I expected to be treated with a little bit of respect when I went in and as I said it says if they never listen to a word I said oh, I have all correspondence with them I kept record of everything including my request for no more credit checks but they still proceeded 2 weeks after I left there, I give them a big fat 0 Stars. They lack professionalism and knowledge in the car industry and all they care about is selling new cars not keeping their customers happy!

Very bad service. No attention to customer. Even with an appointment, no one meet with us. Lack of professionalism and dedication to their business.

After 3 years from our first experience in this dealership I can honestly say that it has only improved with time. Not only the service but they make sure to recognize and reward with an amazing deal to their loyal and recurring customers. My wife and I stopped at Sun Toyota to look around since we were thinking about purchasing a RAV4.
Rod met up with us and very efficiently showed us our options from the basic vehicle to the top of the line. We let Rod know we would still be shopping and would he give us a price on a RAV4 Limited he had in stock.
Normally I would expect to wait a long time for a price but Rod did not waste our time and gave us a very competitive price. We looked elsewhere and it was the best price.
After shopping for a few days we decided to complete the purchase. The staff at Sun Toyota are excellent.
We are now the proud owners of a beautiful RAV4 Limited!

Please be warned that on top of the $995 dealer fee that they disclose on their website, they do not tell you about the added $2000 for the sun protection that s already on the car and they want you to pay for. $3000 in extra fees is definitely too high for me. The customer service was not great and they did not want to haggle on the car price at all.

As a new car owner, I was stressed out about buying a car. The employees there were so nice and made the experience seem less intimidating. I originally, looked online at a different vehicle than the one that I bought. Even then, the online sales team were quick to respond for any assistance that I may have needed. When I did make it to the dealership, my sales agent Rob helped me narrow down what I wanted/needed. He advocated for me when it came to pricing. Yesterday I called Sun Toyota to price out 4 new tires and an alignment. Michael McKinley (not sure of spelling) but he was very helpful and curteous. He did not rush me off the phone. He made sure my questions were answered. This morning we went there and purchased the tires and alignment. Michael was very nice and the tires ride nice. My salesmen Ben dropped the ball. I was a little concerned when I first started with Ben because he knew everything, just ask him. It was so blatant I finally asked the question: how old are you . He was the most arrogant salesmen I ve ever dealt with and like most of you I ve dealt with more than my share of sales people. It was so bad that I will never forget this awful experience or Ben. I did everything over the phone and didn t waste anyone s time. I let Ben my salesmen know I would be in on Sunday at 10AM and wanted this to be quick. Ben stated that was great. Sunday my wife and I showed up at 10AM sharp and no Ben. Everyone at Sun Toyota were great that Sunday morning as they scrambled to assist us. The salesmen Eddy that took over was Awesome and I highly recommend him. This was my second car from Sun Toyota and my eighth Toyota. I will always go back to Sun Toyota even though I live in Land O Lakes.

It all started around 3 years ago when I was walking around the dealership looking at new Tundras. Lee Houston drove by on a golf cart, greeted me and gave me his card. He wasn t pushy, he was cordial and simply said when I was ready to please think of him. 19 months ago I came in with my wife and asked for Lee, we looked at some Tacoma s, but the numbers didn t match up to where we needed to be. No fault to Lee as he did what he could for us and again was very professional even when I called him to give him an update that I had found a vehicle elsewhere so he would have some closure. He congratulated me and again mentioned if I ever needed anything to please think of him. 8 days ago my wife and I walked into Sun Toyota we asked for Lee Houston. This time looking for a car for my wife. We ran some numbers, it looked good, but we had to test drive a few different cars at other dealerships just to make sure Toyota was where we wanted to be. He was very patient throughout the whole process with us and didn t bash the competition at all advising absolutely I understand. Called Lee back and said let s move forward on the 2018 Camry SE. Willy went over the accessories and different options we could add to the vehicle and even allowed us to move whatever we purchased into the pricing to make sure our down payment stated where we wanted it. Robert in finance went over everything with us and answered our questions. I work in sales and I understand the process, however I can definitely learn from Lee Houston! He understands the sale might not be now it could be 19 months from now and he never burned the bridge therefore we felt comfortable going back to him. Fellow sales reps at Sun Toyota can learn quite a lot from Lee! Thank you sir I appreciate you and look forward to many more deals with you!

After being in a car accident, I came into Sun Toyota to check out a 2011 Camry. I was greeted by Justine, one of the sales reps. She took me out for a test drive and we shared some of our car experience. She was so personable and kind! I've been into Sun several times since then and she always greets me by the door to make sure I'm being helped. Justine frequently emails me to ensure everything is going well with the car and to remind me of anything I need to get done. She is seriously so great! I totally recommend Sun Toyota to anyone buying a car. As a young person who is just establishing credit, the business people really try to help you out with getting a loan. Courtney, a finance guy, helped me really understand all the paperwork. It was a great first car buying experience! I will be back for future purchases and all my service.

We love our new 2019 RAV4 XLE from Sun Toyota! Sun Toyota gave us the best price and was willing to locate our desired RAV4 with the options we wanted. They did not charge us a delivery fee for this (other dealerships would). Ben Carriere gets our applause for a sale well done. He's knowledgeable, attentive and never applied that sales pressure that we were afraid we would experience. This purchase was a good experience and we highly recommend Sun Toyota. Check out the new RAV4...the redesign is sporty and it's loaded with extras!

Last time I had my car serviced and bought tires, Kira was my service advisor. She gave me quotes and ratings and spoke to me about my long term goals with my car. She called me when needed and her follow up was great. She is a hard working professional young lady that strives to please her customers. I trust her as well.

I had the opportunity to stop by the dealer and Mr. Juan Martinez was very professional. He took his time to show me the available highlanders and any information needed. Test driving was also offered. Excellent service and Mr. Martinez answered all my questions during my time at the dealer.

They have an $1795 accessory fee besides there $999 dealer fee. They did not tell me about there accessory fee when I spoke to them on the phone. Was ready to buy car until I found out the added cost.

I was interested in a Nissan Titan I had seen on the Sun Toyota website and called to verify it was still available. Spoke with Julia Harris. She asked questions to assist in making the process go smoothly and scheduled an appointment for me to meet with her the next day. When we arrived she already had the vehicle moved up front and we were able to take a test drive right away. She had also already made arrangements for the appraiser to look at my current Nissan Titan I wanted to trade in. Julia was extremely pleasant, professional and extremely customer oriented. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was simple and easy for us. She even followed up with me the following day to see how we were and told us to let her know if we had any questions or needed anything. We had an excellent experience. I would reccommend anyone looking for a new vehicle to see Julia.

Leslie the sales rep is neither knowledgeable or service oriented. No follow up from mngt. They owe me a key ($300-$500) and it is impossible to get. Just horrible to do business this way. Quick to sell, but after that you are S.O.L.

Worst experience of my life!!! Spent 5 hours with Bo getting my hopes up on a car, only to be told payments would be out of my range. Decided on a less expensive vehicle to be told my payments would be as high as the more expensive 1. Wasted my whole Saturday while he went out to take smoke breaks. Barely had me in his office to discuss anything, had a new guy, Peter, showing us cars and being the go between. Had several sales people from the dealership calling me while I sat there waiting. Told me I was approved for an amount come to find out I was NEVER approved. Games, games, games!!!! After leaving frustrated, I stopped at Ocean Honda and within 2 hours drove out with a car I wanted and a payment I asked for!

Do not recommend to do service over there...
What happened to me is my car is burning oil and the guy over there told me he will do A TEST on the car to see if is it burning oil or not. The first time he told me the car is not burning oil and the car is perfectly fine and after I left couple days after the OIL LIGHT start to flashing after that I have to add oil EVERY TWO WEEKS so I went back to him and he did the TEST again to make sure!!!!
So I went this morning to see the result and the guy was there told me the car is burning oil but we not gonna change the part in the engine because IS NOT BURNING A LOT OF OIL TO CHANGE IT!!!!!!!
And at first time he told me if the car is burning oil we gonna replace the engine and fix that part and the car still burning oil and they didn t replace anything!!!!
I m still gonna check with other dealers to see if YOU GUYS supposed to do it or not!!!

Fanatastic experience at Sun Toyota! It started with Robby Boston, Used Cars General Manager, providing guidance on the selection of a minivan and assigning my wife and I the most helpful and informative sales resprestative, Willy Patti. Willy not only assisted us with the minivan we were interested in (2011 VW Routan) but took the time to show me features on my Mercedes E320 that I never knew existed. Willy clearly goes above and beyond the expectation one would have of a sales representative and I would not hesitate to request his assistance when choosing Sun Toyota as your preferred dealership! Our experience ended with the purchase of the 2011 VW Routan with Chad in Finance wrapping up the deal for us. Thank you Sun Toyota for a great car buying experience.

What at first was very frustrating situation because the problems with my car were weird and it took awhile to diagnose, turned out to be very a pleasant one because Whitney helped me get into a loaner and was extremely helpful and patient with me. We had just spent the past 3-4 days going to almost every local Ford dealer getting terrible service, bad service, and half-way decent service. BUT it was all turned around when we met Mr. Lee, who was the best sales professional that I have ever encountered. People buy from people and he connected with us on a human level with being genuine, thoughtful, extremely helpful, and down to earth. Along with this my wife and I had our 2 children with us during the hours of searching and being at the dealership and Mr. Lee handled it as if they were family as well to him. I will tell everyone I know to go to Sun Toyota as it's near impossible these days to go to any dealer in the U.S. and get even near this type of buying experience. Sun Toyota is great to deal with. I live in Wesley Chapel, but I drive out to New Port Richey just for the experience I've had dealing with Sun Toyota. I have bought two brand new Tacomas from Sun Toyota in the past 3 years and both times the sales experience has been top notch. Lee was excellent at giving me information on my 2016 pre-order every step of the way. I ended up being one of the first people with a Longbed Double cab in Blazing Blue thanks to him. Tommy was my salesperson and he was also terrific. I have zero complaints there. I would be lying if I didn't say there were a few hiccups. Such as someone test driving my pre-order when I pulled up. I kind of wanted to be the first person to drive it, but that's no big deal. Luckily they didn't sell it before I made it there. I had a few hiccups with getting my accessories as well, but all in all it was well worth it. I now have my dream truck and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Sun Toyota. Again, a special thanks to Lee, Tommy, Robby, and Chris for all your help with my minor issues.

I walked in for an oil change and walked out with a new Tacoma. Never even imagined this would have been possible. Joseph helped me in a way No one else was willing to. I was in a bad way with a car I hated and he made my car dreams come true. Very open and honest great experience.

First off you can t beat a Toyota, the cars last forever. The problem in the dealership is it appears no one runs the place. I took my 2017 Toyota highlander to get my final oil change, and wheel rotation. Do you think wheel rotation means taking the wheels off and inspecting them and rotating them but apparently not. Tires were put back on and when I was ready to leave an hour later there was a nail sticking out of the front tire wall.

The service tech, nice guy was trying to sell me 30,000 mile tuneups that are way overpriced and not needed. $250 for a battery, I could get one at any parts store that s just as good for $100. While sitting in the lobby waiting other techs were also try to sell unneeded work and a battery nonetheless to two other customers. For 250.

When I pointed out the nail that I saw the tech told me well now that it has to go back into the shop why don t we just knock out those things I was talking to you about?

Also they wanted to sell me a tire for $300 when the same tire somewhere else was quoted for 150.

I had similar trust and lying issues with the salesman at this location when I first bought my car. He flat out lied about the final price, was caught lying and just said well it s only a couple bucks extra

This dealership is more like a college fraternity with no one in charge. Fortunately it s a Toyota like I said. From now on I get my work done somewhere else.

Don t believe me? Go there one day and just walk around the lobby and listen to them talk to their customers. Horrible service, really bad.

But its a Toyota that s the only good part.

Just had an excellent experience buying a new car from Sun Toyota. Phil Lawhorn was amazing both with his knowledge and abilities to create a fantastic opportunity and a done deal. I just bought my third Toyota Sienna and am very happy.

On start up the combination meter failed to operate. Since the combination meter presents bulk of the critical vehicle information, loss of its function present a hazard to the operation of the vehicle. It is a known intermittent problem and was first observed on my 2005 prius approximately three years ago, however, the problem can clear itself. When it first occurred I brought it to the Sun Toyota service department for service (I had originally bought at Sun Toyota.) The service personal noticed the problem, recycled the power on the vehicle, then the problem cleared itself. They said at that time there was nothing they could do to repair the problem unless it hard fails.

Since that time I have had it intermittently fail and correct itself. I discovered that this was a known design defect and that a warranty extension had been issued by toyota motor sale, usa which would cover repair of the vehicle. I experienced the failure again on 11/18/2014. I immediately drove it to sun toyota. They examined the problem, I pointed out the extended warranty, but they said the vehicle was now outside of the extended warranty and could not be repaired. (a repair that is roughly $800!)

They have lost my business as well as the business of anyone who asks my opinion of their company.

First visit to Sun Toyota
Greeted as soon as I pulled in and offered a bottle of water. Next my service advisor Mike greeted us and showed us where everything is, had coffee and doughnut in waiting area while watching tv and before we knew Mike came to tell us the car was done. One of the best experiences I ever had at a dealership.

Our service advisor, Lance Johnson is always terrific. Helpful, friendly & efficient. Our wait time for an oil change seems overly long, while other services seem to be done in a more timely manner.. That's really the only comment I have. It's a car dealership

Lee Johanson and Matt Beckman were great! My husband called to get an "out the door" price and spoke to Lee. Within minutes, Lee had emailed me a written quote that was more than fair. They had the car that we wanted for the same price as another dealer in our area, however the other dealer did not have the color in the style that we wanted, and refused to get it for us. We got to the dealership an hour before they closed and the experience was so streamlined that we left just after their closing time. Matt still went over all of the features and apologized for not being able to fill the tank (because the service dept. was closed) but told me to come in the next time I was in the area and he'd fill it up for me. My husband and I have nothing but kind words for this dealership.

Nick was amazing. My wife and I were interested in the 4Runner he made sure he got us the best deal we could even stayed there waiting for us considering we were coming from Tampa. At the end of the day we were happy and extremely grateful for nicks customer service and his attentiveness to make sure we got what we really wanted. Thank you once again nick!

Do not go to Sun Toyota!! It actually shocks me to say that because I was a loyal customer of theirs for almost 5 years. I went into this dealership almost every other month for my service and I bought 3 cars from them but I will never set foot in this dealership ever again. I went in for a regular oil change, they asked me to run numbers because my salesman knew I was interested in the new Camry, but it was right before Christmas so I said no. They sent another salesperson after me later that said that I would qualify for a loyalty program and I should do it because I have been 100% on time with my payments so I said okay to running numbers. The finance guy called my finance company and they declined my loan because of the negative equity and having some extensions on my loan. Despite knowing I was denied for the loyalty program through my leinholder, the finance manager signed the paperwork in that same leinholder's name that was based on the premise that I would get the loyalty program. They were hoping that they could con my finance company into accepting it later. I took off with the car and a few weeks went by. I tried calling multiple times to find out what was going on with my loan because my finance company hadn't received the payoff and I got a letter in the mail stating I was denied from the start. No one would answer my calls and when I asked to speak to a manager I was hung up on twice. 3 weeks went by being ignored so I went into the dealership and asked to speak to the director. The director lied right to my face to try and cover their behinds because they signed a contract with me that they knew would not go through and the finance company already denied. I understand that they have time to shop around for other financing but the deal was made on the premise that I would get the loyalty program which they already knew I wouldn't be approved for. I would not be as upset if they would have been HONEST with me and told me that the loan didn't go through a few days later, but they chose to carry it out for 3 weeks, ignore my calls, and lie to me with every interaction. That is completely unethical! It was not the finance company's fault like they tried to blame it on, it was theirs. When I told my finance company what they did they were beyond shocked and they are launching an investigation on it. All in all, their service department and parts department are amazing, but do NOT trust their finance department. They push you to do the reviews before the loan is finalized so don't even trust all of these good reviews. They did absolutely nothing to make this right with me. I will be taking my next purchase to Clearwater Toyota or even Lakeland Toyota before going here again. If they will treat a loyal customer like this they will do it to anyone. I always spoke of how much I loved this dealership to anyone who asked about my car but now I will warn them against going here. You lost a loyal repeat customer in me and I knew 5 people who were going to go there in 2019 to buy a car but will not be going there. They are dirty and unethical!

I arrived at Sun Toyota 15 minutes before my appointment for the first inspection of my Camry. I inquired as to the process to get service as per my appointment. The young man explained that someone would be with me shortly. Jake came by the car, introduced himself and took all information needed. He told me what would be done and how long it would take. Within the hour I had my car back and was on the road again. I was amazed that everything was done within the hour considering that the waiting area was really full with people waiting for their cars. Jake was very welcoming, professional and very pleasant. Thank you for the great service.

My husband and I received RED CARPET treatment at Sun Toyota. It was a GREAT experience. Our Salesman OTTO VILLALTA was a blessing sent from GOD! He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The Manager MICHAEL CHAPPARRO got the deal done quickly without wasting any of time! We told him what we wanted and he made it happen!! He was amazing. GREG HOLLAND the finance manager closed the deal and showed us all our options and recommendations. He was great!

It has been almost 3 months since I leased my vehicle and I am still waiting to receive the $5,000.00 Advantage Club Card. I have made several calls and wasted my time on this issue, but I still do NOT have my promised card.

It was a very pleasant experience. I had an awesome salesman named Rani and he was great. He walked me through all the steps necessary to first decide if i wanted to purchase a vehicle, then once I made that decision, he helped me every step of the way. I can't say it was quick lol because buying a car is worse (as far as paperwork) than buying a house lol. But the salesman and the financial wizard made it as pleasant as possible. I have purchased a vehicle before at Sun Toyota and I have no hesitation whatsoever about purchasing one in the future from them again. Very happy with the vehicle and feel i made some new friends.

I was having with my Camry. 2nd Gregory advise me and gave me recommendation for my vehicle at a 75,000+.mil....he keep me informed and update during the process..... Gregory brief me on the finding of the Vehicle technician and the recommendation......and the approximate cost and time to correct the recommendations.....the reason why...I am a returning customer is because the 1st class advisors like Mr. Gregory G. I will be coming back for my next scheduled service.

We have purchased our cars at Sun Tooyota for over 12 years (maybe more), 2 cars just this year! The sales people are always helpful and friendly. They have always come through with what they promised. Ken helped my son with chooseing and purchasing, advising him as he would his own son. I give it an A++

I am in the beginning stages of possibly getting a car from this dealership but I had a bad experience in 2016 that put off Toyota so badly that I purchased 4 different models of New Nissan. I have been think of a Rav4 but I may just go to the Toyota dealership in Crystal River . Welp I was Right Thomas the salesman Text me and was clear on what I asked him About cars for a two sale. So I asked him to call me he said in a moment but No call now he is passing me over to some team. Omar is honest and easy going. We came for a Rav4 LE but Omar worked hard to get us a great deal on a Rav4 XLE, which we were more than happy to go home in. Our experience at Sun Toyota was very pleasant, ask for Omar you wont be disappointed!
