Non Responsive, Unwilling to answer calls, or return messages. I paid off my account early. Obtained a final payoff. No one in the finance department would take my calls. I was told by the operator to drive in, I reside in GA, or fax in the information. I sent in the fax's and no respond now my account information is sitting on a fax machine for all to view and ignore. I was than transferred to Morgan answering service. Morgan whom advised they were not able to assist. I called back and the Receptionist continues to send me to the same company.
was promised a referral check from Lee Houston and it is not being sent to me. talked to Lourie-ann and she told me they sent me one which is true they sent me one for the first car purchased but lee told me i would be receiving one for the second car which i did not receive. Lourie-ann told me i could pick it up after 4:30 on 8/30/18 i got another email about 5 hours later telling me they had already sent me one (again for the first purchase) and that i would not be receiving one at all. all this after 5 promised call backs from management which i did not receive until i made a BBB complaint. i also visited the dealer for service which my car was put into parental mode by service was promised a call back and had to wait an entire week for the call back for a fix after mentioning my issue with the service department in my BBB complaint. Jake called me with a fix for my car and essentially begged me to remove my complaint saying it hurts him. dealer does not hold up to there end of anything and god forbid they returned a call they promised. will not ever return or refer anyone there.

Had second of two free oil changes today. They took my car in for service at the scheduled time and finished 55 minutes later. Not bad since the asst service manager told me it would be 60-90 minutes. The only problem I noticed was that the technician didn't reset my oil life monitor, I did it myself.
Came to trade my Corolla. Carlos Allicock has stepped up to help me. Took up his whole day and he still managed to have patience with me. He is a fantastic dealer. I highly reccomend him !!

I truly cannot rave enough about my experience with Sun Toyota. I thought car shopping was going to be incredibly stressful and frankly it was - my head was already spinning with all of the options and price manipulation in the Tampa area. That was before I stumbled into Sun Toyota. We came across Sun Toyota because of their extensive amount of used vehicles, but also curious to check out the Toyota line. It is about a 45 minute drive from me, but upon getting there, my draw dropped. The dealership is immaculate - not only the biggest I've ever seen but impeccably stylish, state of the art, and clean. Most of the vehicles have an individual lockbox attached, so that you don't have to wait for the salesman to go get the keys or have to peer through locked doors. They even drive you around on golf carts to check out vehicles. Even with the size, they are more attentive (but not pushy or smothering) than any of the other dealerships we had been to.
Our dealer was Marc Langlais and he was beyond awesome. I never felt like I was being haggled. He was unbelievably knowledgable, straight forward, honest, funny, and was above and beyond helpful. He knew features about the vehicle I wouldn't even have known from reading the manual for hours. I found the car of my dreams Friday afternoon and was back Saturday evening - he stayed late both nights for us and was always available for communication. We adored him!
As soon as we found out about the 20 year/20k mile powertrain warranty on most of their vehicles, advantage program, and additional support for their customers (first 2 oil changes free, etc) we knew no matter what, we wanted to buy from Sun Toyota. It just wouldn't make sense not to. We were so impressed on every level by them. I searched for comps for my dream car but they price so fairly and competitively that it was by far the best deal within 200 miles on the vehicle. Comps didn't even exist!
From the new owner, John, Christa his stellar right hand woman, Robbie the GM, Sandy in finance, and not to forget the best sales agent ever, Marc Langlais, everyone took care of us beyond our wildest dreams. We felt like part of the family. We got there later than planned on Saturday because of our family being in town, and no one batted an eye at staying late with us, they were wonderful. They had the car already ready to go for us, detailed to the 9s, gas tank filled. It looked like it was ready for the showroom! Even after the deal was finalized, Marc stayed even later with us, happy and eager to show me all of the features in the car, get me set up, and make sure I was comfortable & ready for driving my new vehicle. It was light years above and beyond what I would ever expect.
Through every step of the process, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The service was outstanding. The whole sale was effortless and stress free. Even more than that - they actually made my dream car affordable and a true possibility for me instead of an "I wish". Please do yourself a favor and check them out - my only regret is that I didn't get there sooner! And that I got there too late to meet Zeus :)

I was great customer service, we were great. We were greeted in the parking lot, the door was opened for us. The girls at the desk called our salesman. We had been chatting, texting, e-mailing and talking on the phone with Javier and Brian for days before I finally showed up at Sun Toyota. Brian showed us a few cars to consider, after choosing the 2015 Nissan Altima, we went for a drive. Being Sunday we had to come back Monday. Javier took over. He went through all the paperwork with us, signed the contracts, He processed everything, Told my wife she could head back to St Pete, because it was just a waiting thing now. When it took a little longer then he said it would, He gave me the go ahead to take the car and we would finish the small details later. I went to this dealership to look at a SUV they would give me the price until I test drove it. And then they wanted $21000 for a 2014 gmc terrain with 63000+ miles. Ok then when I declined that price I go out to my car that they appraised for a trade in at 100 dollars. Yes that vehicle has damage and I totally understand the amount. But that's no reason for them to leave my driver's side window open when it was raining and get the inside soaked and I had to clean up the water before I could drive home!! Thanks Sun Toyota for that!!!

I just purchased a brand new 2020 RAV4 Hybrid from Sun Toyota and it was my first ever dealership experience. Eddie was my salesman, and he took awesome care of me. He had a ton of patience and answered every question I had (I had a lot). Not only that, but he worked hard to get my payments where there needed to be and now I m a happy owner. I had an excellent experience buying my car and having it serviced. One complaint: When waiting, it is almost impossible to escape Fox News. I don t want to listen to that while I m waiting. (I don t want to listen to the other news channels either). Isn t there something a little less divisive that could be playing everywhere?
Toyota surprised me with a new replacement for a dashboard problem, that was an unexpected pleasure. It was the actual service that began to drive me nuts. The dash was replaced and I was asked to return the next morning to install a clamp, would be a fast fix. I asked if they could call to let me know if it was available, didn't need to it would be in. Came in the next morning and was told that the clip was on backorder, really what is wrong with picking up the phone or sending an email, I don't live by Sun Toyota. I then was told that the part would be in but they would have to contact me when it arrived. I hadn't heard from toyota and decided to call, you guessed it, part had come in and no one had let me know. Up to then everyone was very apologetic and tech had said it would be a guick fix and I would be done. Funny that when I did come in they even tried to determine if they would charge me for the clip, apparently they don't put the information into their system. Will see how long the quick fix actually takes, already been 30 minutes and have a feeling they are hunting the part. I did ask the young lady on the phone to be sure that the part was available and had my name on it when I made the appointment. They could document much better and contact customers when they determine that work can not be done, driving back and forth is not my idea of fun. Again, thank you for the replacement dash, but please work with your dealers on customer service. I am glade that I wasn't having something major being worked on.

I live several hours away from the Sun Toyota dealership so I requested an OTD price quote for a new Toyota from the online inventory and had the quote in hand via email in less than an hour. I met with the sales team and found everyone I dealt with to be friendly, accommodating and competent. The sales rep (Carlos) provided the best new car demo and indoctrination I have ever experienced. At no time did anyone on the sales team apply "hard sell" tactics or attempt to "up sell" to a more expensive car. There was also no pressure to purchase available "dealer installed options". They made me aware of what was available and when I declined we moved on. In the end I purchased the car for exactly the price quoted in the initial email and drove it home that afternoon.
This is my second new car purchase from Sun Toyota and my previous purchase experience was equally good, as were all my visits to the service department over the years for routine maintenance. Based on my experience with this purchase and over the past six years I can highly recommend the Sun Toyota team.

I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. I took my car to the workshop so that they did a check on the computer to see what part of the car was giving me a problem with the brakes and they tell me that the brake power booster was damaged and the cost was equivalent to $ 1600, I picked up my car because that Amount of $ I could not pay, and I took my car to another workshop and it turns out that it was the switch assy vacuu that was damaged whose cost is $ 135, and my car works perfectly.
What a bad and lousy job from this dealer, horrible experience I had there. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Patrick Chaban was professional and honest. He was upfront in pricing and did not do the car salesman push. It was definitely worrh the drive from St. Petersburg to buy at this dealership. Even after the time for commute, I still came out ahead on time typically spent to finish the deal and definitely on the price. They were upfront and not pushy.

I can honestly say that I enjoyed the experience when I took my car to Sun Toyota for repair. And we all know that is saying a lot because nobody likes to wait. But the people were pleasant, the coffee was good, the water was appreciated and the chairs where we could watch TV or our phones were very comfortable. I appreciated that we were kept up to date on the status of our cars. It was like a spa day with my Corolla.

Boy oh boy where do i start. First off let me make sure whoever is reading this is sitting down. I'm about to put a load of goodness on you. Now that you're sitting down here goes it. Jason was nothing but professional, knowledgeable and comfortable to be around. He made this experience of buying a car feel like a crisp summer breeze. I even forgot multiple times through this that i was actually buying a car. He took time out of his day to wait on me who was very very on the fence of purchasing a vehicle when there were a lot of other customers who were ready to buy. I took forever and let me repeat forever to make a decision on the exact car i wanted. I had a million and one questions and every one of them he had an answer for. I can and will openly admit that i was a very difficult customer. Jason if very good at his profession and it shows. He seemed to light a car buying spark in me i didn't know i had. It took probably 6 hours from beginning to end to purchase my new truck. From the get go he made sure that each choice i made i was completely secure with no matter how many of them i had and how many different time i changed my mind. We test drove the truck i ended up purchasing and while doing so he was informing me on all the capabilities/options this specific model had . He also compared the lower model and higher model of this truck to the one we were looking at. It made my unsure mind feel completely sure and confident in the decision i was making. I was in an extreme negative equity situation Jason and his manager (shout out: Jeff Barnes) helped me immensely with getting a fantastic deal. All and all i left a very happy car buyer. Along with feeling extremely happy and confident in my decision and i happily make my payment every month reminding me of Jason the great. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend specifically asking for Mr.Jason Heard.

On March 9,2013 my husband and I went to a competitor at 8:30am(when they opened) and looked at used suv's.Not 1 salesman came out to assist us after a 20 minute walk about. We left and went to Sun Toyota and were immediately met by Carlos. What a great asset to Sun Toyota.He did not pressure us into any certain vehicles and after looking at used vehicles we inquired about new SUV's. We leased a new RAV4 which has been a dream to drive. The whole process was finished in record time and my experience was excellent. We also wanted leather seats and tinted windows. True to their word the appointment was set,rental car provided and all went as promised through the service department. I can not praise Sun Toyota highly enough.

This place is horrible. They have been harassing me for months and so called can't stop it! I had to turn my car in because their shop made my car dangerous to drive since parts were not put on correctly. The bumpers were sagging ect. Went through alot of trouble to try to get it fixed for months. I finally had to turned my car in and told them not to correspond with me in any way and I keep getting flooded with letters. There operation as a whole is dysfunctional and the games they play are dangerous. Not all Toyota establishments are like this but this one is from hell. Stay away.

I tried Sun Toyota for service for a year. I consistently was lied to by the staff. 90 minute services stretched to 4 hours or more. When I took my two cars in for routine maintenance they consistently tried to convince me I needed extra services that we didn't need. Will not go back. Maybe they treat men better but they treated me terribly.
