Very happy that management went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. If you have any problems, Farris Hamdan is amazing, and the sales consultant Thomas Zanios was wonderful.

I inquired about purchasing a Tacoma online to help my Dad. I was specific in my requests to them wanting a clear out the door price which means including the taxes and fees. All other dealerships around had no problem giving me exactly what I was looking for but not Sun Toyota. They like to play games. However, my parents showed me their fee breakdown they got earlier in the day from Sun Toyota. They also charge the most fees when comparing them to my other quotes for the same exact truck. Like a Sun protection package for $1695 plus a high destination fee of $960 plus a pre delivery charge of $985! When negotiating they wouldn't remove the Sun protection package but reduced the cost to $695. Their GAP is also very high like most other dealerships. My best advice is shop online for the best price including taxes and fees to all Toyota dealerships you're willing to travel too and secure your financing elsewhere. Save yourself the hassel of going to the dealership and you will save a lot of money! I wouldn't recommend doing business with Sun Toyota. Too overpriced and shady. They will make you feel like you got a great deal but you actually need to make sure you got a great deal. They shouldn't be charging two almost identical fees. Most dealerships charge a $899 dealer fee and that's it. You don't need all the extra warranties they try to sell you either. Be an educated and patient buyer so you don't get ripped off. Even the other Toyota dealerships warned me to not even bother with Sun Toyota or they weren't surprised when we told them about our experience with them. Don't get sucked in with low finance offers because by the time you over pay for GAP and all the add on fees they will charge it's not worth it! I'd recommend financing with your bank or credit union. Keep car buying and financing separated so it's easier to know what you're paying. Negotiate the price of the car before discussing financing, down payment or trade in and never give your social at the dealership or they most likely will run your credit. We had the best customer service and offer from Clearwater Toyota. They made it a painless process to purchase from them. Terry Hummel gave me the price I was looking for with his very first offer. He listened and gave me exactly what I wanted from the start with no games. The price did not change when I went to close at the dealership either! I would gladly purchase from him again in the future.

I brought in my RAV4 for its 10,000 miles service, and I was extremely satisfied with the care and attention given to me by Joe, my service rep. He detailed me what my car would need to continue its best performance, and he was concerned that everything would continue to run smoothlyon that visit and for my future visits. SUN TOYOTA gives superb care and attention. I'll continue to get all of my 2 Toyota cars' care at SUN TOYOTA and no where else.

I started with a lease on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma! When it came time for trade in I knew I was not a leasing candidate and I needed to lock into something I would be able to use like I need and have for a long term commitment! The team at Sun Toyota has always been helpful and great so I was looking forward to working with them! Joe was our salesman for this experience and he was amazing! Found the perfect car for my family. Worked with Zach who knew i was on a time crunch and moved the process along very quickly, working with me to get the price i wanted to pay. There were a few problems with the car that Zach assured me would be fixed but couldnt be done that day due to time constraints. I left that day feeling excited about my new car but now 3 days later I've heard from no one to make the repairs that are needed, even after reaching out.

Update: The dealership has reached out to me and took care of everything as promised. I worked with John in the service department and he was amazing, making sure everything was taken care of and that i was completely satisfied before driving out of the lot again. Despite the rocky start i am very pleased with the overall process and service

I call Jason Heard to find out what my warranty coverage is due to an issue I had. This guy called me 15 times after the purchase begging for a google review, and I did to try to help him out. I ask for him to get back to me about my coverage, disgruntled, he takes down my number, says he will call back, and never called. I go out of my way to help him out and it's too much for me to ask for him to do his job after a purchase? Thank you. The guy at Walmart auto was more helpful and pleasant.

I had a great experience on Monday Oct. 5th getting new tires. Don service Advisor took great care of me. He was quick to respond and always kept me informed. The price of the tires or better than two other places I looked at. I would definitely recommend Sun Toyota And I will keep going back for my services.

Had my husbands car brought in today for a recall service. As usual, nothing but positive things to say about Sun Toyota. They fixed the recall, gave an oil change and washed his car. Very professional AND friendly people there. I dont know what your doing for your employees, but please up the magnificent work!!!!! They are really the best in the business!!!!

Sun's asst. service manager Greg Gamble was very courteous and helpful in checking in my Highlander for diagnosis and service, The service techs went beyond checking out my concern. Greg let the techs know I was planning a trip, so they checked the service history and recommended services that were overdue. They performed those services in a timely manner and were helpful and courteous throughout.

Let me start by saying I don't do reviews, but Phill Nemeth really deserves one. He works extremely hard for his customers. He genuinely wanted to help me and my family out. I was pleasantly surprised at the top level of service I received from him. Thank you!

Tried to lease a truck multiple times from this dealer. Was told the sales manager was going to call 4 times and not one call back. The only dealer I have ever seen who does not follow up on a lead 3 days before the end of the month. Got the run around multiple times from this dealer through multiple salesman. Would not reccomend this dealer to anyone.

As always my service advisor, Mike McKinley, went over and above his call of duty to help me with the issue I was having with my car. He had me in and out in a flash!!

have been dealing with Sun Toyota for a few years always treated very well but this last visit they were going to charge $108 dollars for an oil change and tire rotation. I will seek another place from now on

Terrible service at this dealership every time I come in for something they always leave me waiting for an hour or more I came in the other day just to pick up a check I gave them 2 full days to have the check ready for me so I could jus come pick it up an leave and they still didn t have the check ready making me wait for a whole hour and half on top of that I applied to this dealership also two weeks ago scheduled an interview with them I came in for the interview an they had me sitting there for a good hr jus for them to tell me to reschedule waisting my damn time and they never did reschedule either I mean it s ridiculous when I have other places to be and errands to run Toyota messes it all up I have this issue when I come to this dealership everytime I shoulda purchased my vehicle from Honda because I m very dissatisfied with the service at this particular dealership

Unfortunately, Christian sold us a car that did NOT have a clean car fax! Yup, found out through my car insurance company once we had another accident. We never seen the clean car fax that he said existed but lesson learned here! I will never buy another car here for that reason unless the dealership made it right.
Note to all, always get the car fax report! They have since changed their policy to make sure one is provided because there was shady stuff going on there!

Had been looking for a car for two weeks with little success. Showed up late evening at Sun and my rep. Anthony worked hard on helping me see several options even past closing. Back the next day and he was already prepared to show me other car types he knew I was interested in and once I had one picked he and the finance dept. had me out the door in less than a couple hours! Very impressed with there process, efficient, friendly and fast. Best experience at a car dealer I have ever had... Oh yeah, and I was really happy with the price and financing they got me!

I own a 2016 Rav 4 hybrid. I had a1200noon appt. for a 15000 mile check. I arrive 15 min early and promptly taken care of.. I was told that the car would bee ready in aprroximatily 90 min. Only the tires have to be rotatated. I finally checked out at 245pm. My Service adviser explained how busy then were. Don't buy a used car from here. Put 5000 miles on it, brought it in for its first service and it already needs a $1600 repair.

I sought out Don Smith since I had a great experience in the past with him. I sold my Tacoma to the dealer and the price was more than fair. Don insured I was totally satisfied before I left, and I WAS! My Wife and I met with Don and bought one of the RAV4 models my wife found on the internet. Price was right, car was clean and ready for delivery and the paperwork was almost all automated. Don more that explained all the aspects of owning a certified used auto as did Chase the finance manger who put all the paperwork together for us. One of the warranties we received was fantastic and FREE! EVERY question we had was answered to the fullest. You want a top notch salesperson Don Smith is your man. We will be a Sun Toyota family for life. You cant help[ but go to the experts when you need a car and that is Sun Toyota. Thank You all for the way you treated us and took such good care of my wife and I.

Found a certified used Prius online I wanted. Called to see if they would be negotiable on the price and they said "of course" drove 2 hours from Orlando to see the car and the first thing the salesman pat says is it is non negotiable. Ended up leaving pissed off and the next day I get a call to ask how it is and they asked if I could come back in. My mistake, I did and saw the car during day light hours and the inside of the car was absolutely destroyed. Anything that was plastic was damaged and it had stains all over the place. Inside the center console was something that spilled and the trunk 5th door had all sorts of damage on the inside portion. Wasted 6 hours of my life between travel and seeing this car for them to jerk me around. Go to a different dealer. If you do go here deal with Willie Patti he was actually great.

All the staff have been great in all departments. Service is timely, the waiting area is comfortable, love the lobby coffee and lounging area. My car gets washed with every service which is very cool! The only negative I could say was with the way the service computer system is designed. I almost got an expensive service I did not need as I had it done on the prior service call. The error was caused because the computer system wasn't clear. Fortunately, I spoke up, another service manager came to help who was familiar with this "glitch", and the unnecessary work was avoided.

Just bought a Tacoma there. Very nice atmosphere. They make you feel like you're home. Anna my sales person was excellent and very helpful. My wife is looking to buy a Highlander this year and we're definitely going to come back and see Anna

100K maintenance took about 2 hours which was the time they told me in the beginning. James Nigro was the guy I dealt with. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need, just what was needed. I have all of my service done at Sun and will continue to do so.

The absolute worst dealership I ve ever had to deal with. Stay away at all cost there s plenty of other dealerships with better prices. They only care about their commission checks not you. Don t say you weren t warned after seeing this.

Had my wife and granddaughter go to sun Toyota to purchase a 2017 Corolla, What a terrible experience!!! Salesman was horrible and does not deserve a job in auto sales. Was never told a price on the car and extremely frustrated my wife! Agreed on a 20,000$ purchase and did all paperwork and it came out to 27,000$ after everything! WHAT A JOKE! Need less to say I had them meet me at Wesley Chapel Toyota and we left with the SAME car BRAND NEW for 20,300 after everything with no trade in! FYI We wrote a check! Sun Toyota should value their customers a little more next time before trying to take advantage of a older woman and a young lady! Never will i recommend ANYBODY to purchase a vehicle from your place!

I make this post with the hopes that alot of people read it and I hope it helps them out:

They absolutely low-balled me on my traded-in value. They absolutely did not work with me in-regards to having a competitive price considering their price was almost $2000 above fair market value.

I say all this because even before I drove several hours to do business; and I was told they don't like to miss business.

I got all of their sales pitches...........every trick in the book.
I'm a well-educated person and I know all their sales tactics and tricks and they pretty much pulled them all out.....even switching the numbers around like I wouldn't notice.

Now my sales person was a really nice person and I told this person bluntly everything but this person still made it sound like we could make it work. (I'm not name dropping)

* I say all this because I've purchased three new cars in the past from big dealerships.
* I say all this because I know people who work at dealerships and they let me in on alot of things and sales tactics that dealerships use.

What you people have to understand is that:

- if you go to dealerships, especially big dealerships like this one; is that they have HUGE overhead costs and they have to meet their weekly and monthly sales goals or else they start losing money. So they either screw you over in your trade in or make alot of money on car sales....either way they do it.....this is how it's done.

* They expect you to know things about dealerships due to the internet but what they ARE banking on is YOU NOT being able to:
# spot the flipping of financial numbers,
# the sales tactics
# their black book values
# their sales pressure,
# and you're ability to control the sales environment and to just
simply just walk away from the table.

- I completely understand that dealerships have to make money and the consumer wants to save money......BUT when it's completely one sided in the dealership's favor and most of the time it is that way due to buyers who are not well-educated like I am......then that's when you WALK AWAY FROM THE TABLE.

Lastly, I want to say to everyone:

******THIS IS YOUR MONEY AND BUYING A CAR TODAY IS AN ENORMOUS RESPONSIBILITY.
------cars today are just simply too expensive and a waste of money financially. SO DON"T SETTLE FOR LESS.

I promise you there will be another car that will come along that you will like or love and there will be a person or a dealership that will actually work with you and give you a fair value for your trade-in.

I gave a 5 star review on Sandy (my sales rep) because she was amazing.

HOWEVER
Im doing a 2 star review on the place as a whole, and this is why.

My address was wrong on my registration, and Im supposed to be receiving my plates and a check in the mail so I called to make sure my address was changed, so those things didnt get lost in the mail or sent back to them without having my correct address.

I have been getting the run around for the last 4-5 days. Everyone that said they would call me back has yet to call back. I live 2 hours away from this dealership, and I feel like the only way to get good customer service is in person. Over the phone, the people that work there have no idea whats going on and will transfer your call to someone who says they cant help you.

I am definitely not having a very good time with such a simple matter.

Mr X was a great salesman no pressure and even ordered the perfect car for us!!

Great service only in buying the car. However, 6 phone calls, unanswered emails, unanswered voice mail, rude attitude with 2 people in customer service -- just to find out where to mail our first payment, to whom check should be made payable and when payment is due!!! Was told we would get an invoice -- we still didn't receive it. And this is to make a payment -- I'm sure if I didn't make the payment, I would have your attention. Great service should happen throughout, when a car is purchased and down to customer service to answer a very basic question...

Went in with intentions of buying a new RAV4 and our expectations were exceeded! We dealt with Tommy Chills and his manager Baron. They were great to work with. We were so satisfied that we came in the next night and bought a new Toyota Tacoma. Now our family has a garage full of new cars from Sun Toyota and we couldn't be more satisfied with the process!

We have bought 3 Toyotas here and both times it was an amazing experience but I will say this last time was the best. We are going to be moving next spring to start building our house from scratch and were in need of a truck to haul materials and water and after talking with other dealerships we decided to go back to Sun and see if they could help us find a solution. When we walked into the dealership at 1900 and said we needed a salesman who could handle a challenge they had the answer and they paged Aidan McBride. Now don't be fooled by this young man he has a lot of knowledge and isn't afraid to lay it down straight. he never promised anything he didn't deliver on. When I thought all hope was lost and our search was over he pulled threw for us. He's a fighter and wants to make sure you are getting the best deal possible. And yet again the Finance department took the work he already did and made it even better they even had us driving our new truck out by 2130. we love going to this dealership for sales, service, and parts they are a top notch operation and even though they are a HUGE dealership they always made us feel like our business is very important. We are sad to be losing this dealer in the spring but life has bigger plans for us and Aidan McBride and Sun Toyota made it a better situation for us!

We have never been treated better. Sun Toyota in holiday Florida gets more than five stars from us. We purchased a used Toyota Prius from a private owner and wanted the reassurance that our new car was safe and mechanically sound. So we took it to sun Toyota. Roger was our service advisor he made sure that we felt welcome and comfortable, he made us feel like we were at a retreat. As it turned out our car had 2 open recalls so the car was taken in for repairs. One of the recalls pertained a stearng mechanism. The parts needed to be ordered, and would take several days to arrive. Roger did not want us to drive it in that condition, so they gave us a loaner car to drive. Not just any loaner it was a brand new 2020 Corolla with a full tank of gas. The car was ready to be picked up at the exact time he told us it would be. After all of this great treatment and service our balance due was $0.00. since it was all recalls we did not owe anything.
At this day in age it's very rare to receive the kind of treatment that we received.

They belive in what they selling you and toyota is a great company im sold on them and they dont lie to you like Hyundai new port richey to buy a car im a veteran and will stand on what think i got took at Hyundai in 2014 traded both cars and bought two from sun Toyota and sellman don smith is the best at getting your money worth
