It all started around 3 years ago when I was walking around the dealership looking at new Tundras. Lee Houston drove by on a golf cart, greeted me and gave me his card. He wasn t pushy, he was cordial and simply said when I was ready to please think of him. 19 months ago I came in with my wife and asked for Lee, we looked at some Tacoma s, but the numbers didn t match up to where we needed to be. No fault to Lee as he did what he could for us and again was very professional even when I called him to give him an update that I had found a vehicle elsewhere so he would have some closure. He congratulated me and again mentioned if I ever needed anything to please think of him. 8 days ago my wife and I walked into Sun Toyota we asked for Lee Houston. This time looking for a car for my wife. We ran some numbers, it looked good, but we had to test drive a few different cars at other dealerships just to make sure Toyota was where we wanted to be. He was very patient throughout the whole process with us and didn t bash the competition at all advising absolutely I understand. Called Lee back and said let s move forward on the 2018 Camry SE. Willy went over the accessories and different options we could add to the vehicle and even allowed us to move whatever we purchased into the pricing to make sure our down payment stated where we wanted it. Robert in finance went over everything with us and answered our questions. I work in sales and I understand the process, however I can definitely learn from Lee Houston! He understands the sale might not be now it could be 19 months from now and he never burned the bridge therefore we felt comfortable going back to him. Fellow sales reps at Sun Toyota can learn quite a lot from Lee! Thank you sir I appreciate you and look forward to many more deals with you!
