Horrible parking lot. They don't clean it and it's disorganized. Our truck got stock in the snow for three hours tried to get out and no one came to help even we repeatedly had asked the staff for help. They offered us to buy a shovel for $20. Eventually used passerbyes help. The parking lot is a zoo. Never again.

Love Stevens pass, it is a great ski resort. The only thing I wish they would expand upon is the parking. The parking situation (especially in peak times) is particularly horrible. There is not much real estate for them to expand, but I think something has to be done. If you want decent parking you need to be there about an hour and a half before the lifts begin to operate.

The slopes are good for beginners and intermediates. Parking runs short on weekends unless you come early and traffic back to Seattle gets backed up near Gold Bar and Sultan, so plan for that.

this is my safe place I love to drive up here and get away even if I'm not skiing the views are breath taking and my time up there is always well spent, I love going up and enjoying the day with my kids though I truly wish they would bring tube city back

Seriously overpriced for the amount and quality of the terrain. I paid more than $120 today even though many of the runs are still closed. Besides lift ticket prices, they are going by hook & crook to extract every penny they possibly can. Service has also been not great - couple of staff I talked to were borderline rude.
This place is going downhill after acquisition by Vail Resorts last year.
Pretty much every other major ski resort in the state is a much better deal for Seattle area residents - Snoqualmie is a much shorter drive (and cheaper), Crystal is much more interesting and diverse (and cheaper), Baker is a treat if you're up for a longer drive (and 2X cheaper).

Did a half day and it was absolutely beautiful! Good price and thank you for the night skiing! Had nachos and the pulled pork at the restaurant and it was fast and very good! Helpful staff and well groomed mountain!

It's my first time skiing, booked a training session with 6 other first timers, there were just too many people to properly learn, there were around 8 trainers so we had to wait to do anything around the course. Unfortunately I think I learned more with my family than I did with a two hour class I pay. The views are awesome but this place gets really packed, not very beginner friendly since most section to ski where for people who knew how to.. overall would not go back till I am more experience even then there are a few other places to check, there was a very long wait for the restaurant to eat, you need to get there very early if you're renting equipment since it took close to an hour just to get in line for the tickets then around 30 mins just to get your gear. Plan accordingly.

My first time skiing and the instructors were really helpful and had some good tips to learn skiing. The other trails for pros looked good too. A must visit if you're into snow sports or you want to learn something new!

TL;DR: Stevens Pass employees should not steering corporate offsite attendees towards unsafe snowshoeing trails. Never returning to this place again.

I work for a large tech company, which is generous enough with its employees to sponsor an annual ski offsite. This year, it was held at Stevens Pass.

I signed up for snowshoeing in the afternoon because I m a risk-averse middle aged guy who isn t really into high-risk activities. I assumed, from past experience, that snowshoeing would basically involve walking around in the snow wearing high-traction shoes with minimal danger.

The only safe bypass from the trail had prominent signs saying that snowshoers were not permitted, so I assumed we couldn t go there anyway.

We reached a point in the trail in which there was a steep descent by a riverfront, in I felt uncomfortable proceeding. But I was more uncomfortable abandoning my coworker and trying to make it back without a cell phone coverage in the wilderness. So I just followed him, while simultaneously assuming it would probably be OK if Stevens Pass staff were pointing inexperienced attendees at a corporate offsite in this direction.

That was, of course, incorrect. Following him down that steep climb in the trail, I fell and injured my shoulder, requiring a doctor s visit and pain using it for an entire month. I nearly fell into the freezing river, but he grabbed and kept me from falling further.

When we returned to the Nordic lodge, staffed by a lone high school student, when I asked if there was a nurse or anything around he was nice but completely useless. The employee who pointed us in the direction of the trail didn t seem particularly apologetic or responsible in the least leading me to question whether Stevens Pass has a responsible safety culture.

In conclusion, if it's not clear how to perform a safe loop on one's own -- Stevens Pass needs to fix their signage. In the case of a corporate event like ours, they should have sent a guide -- in fact, one was included with our contract, but none was offered to us.

I will never return to future offsites at Stevens Pass.

Nice staff. They refunded our rentals because conditions were really bad and gave us lift ticket coupons. I have a couple complaints. I realize I'm being picky but that's what theses review things are for. 1. You have to go a ways on snow to the Daisy chair lift (the beginner lift) including down a slope 150 ft and then walk up a steeper slope probably 200 ft. With a little work they could make it a straight shot from the lodge. 2. They make you go to two different buildings to get your lift ticket and rentals, and a third for the sports shop if you want to buy something. To they're clearly not trying to make theirs a higher end resort with their layout. But if you don't mind these things, it's an overall good place to ski.

Great mountain with a lot of terrain and plenty of snow. Not quite as big as Crystal Mountain but closer for a lot of people.

Lodge is super nice and not too expensive. Things might change age with he new ownership but we shall see.

Wonderful place to ski. I had an excellent time as someone who is just learning to ski. It's fairly pricey, me and my friend paid $140 for the day ticket. Very fun though, looking forward to going back.

Best little mountain in the Cascades! It s worth the hike to get there from Seattle compared to other options and has some of the better snow most winters. When the film mountain is open there is really ample and varied terrain. The ski school program is the best we ve found in the US and with reasonable rates for the excellent levels of instruction. Weekends can get really busy and parking space can run short, so for just days plan to arrive by 8am for a decent parking spot.

Stevens pass is a great ski resort in close proximity to Seattle. Travel time is usually between an hour and a half to 2 to get there. Plenty of challenging runs from beginner to intermediate skiers. They also have plenty of programs aimed at beginners so its pretty affordable if you are committed to learning the sport. Hands down the biggest downside of Stevens is its size. The parking lots can fill up quickly on Snow days leading to a disappointing return trip. The last snow day, all the lots were full with parking attendents not letting anyone else in. Drove around for about an hour, then tucked tail and went home. Best way to avoid being in the same scenario is to get there early. The area is well maintained and clean as it can be considering the foot traffic coming in and out of the property.

Great place to ski. During the day the views from the top are spectacular. There are for all ages and skill levels. Night skiing is also very good. However I do have one complaint that a few night ski areas could be lit better. Otherwise so much fun coming here every time.

We took the beginner ski course here. They have a team of greeters who can answer any questions. One of them walked with us to the proper location. They have mastered the registration process. You move through an "assembly" line of sorts. One person looks up your registration info and gives you a printout and your ski lift pass. The next person measures your feet, selects your boots and helps you put them on. Next person selects your skiis and shows you how they work, then helmet, poles and so on. They have lockers you can rent. Our instructor was very friendly. We went on what is probably the busiest weekend of the entire year but we still had a great time. If the main parking gets full they have free shuttles to two other parking lots.

Fun place with a couple good places to eat and relax. Prices are expensive still but overall a fun experience. A little disappointed that night skiing closed the end of February when they still were getting tons of fresh snow.

Great ski resort that is relatively close to Seattle. Awesome destinations for weekend getaways with friends! The staff are super helpful and friendly! We brought our own food, so can't say much about dining. I particularly like how they fit the ski boots for us. Overall good experience.
