I always enjoy going to the resort. They keep thin...
I always enjoy going to the resort. They keep things moving smoothly from shuttles to lift lines.

A good scenic area to take photos and walk on some trails.
Stopped in during my PCT hike to pick up a package. Everyone was extremely hiker friendly, thank you!
Great skiing when the weather is good. Traffic getting there can be terrible and you need chains if it really starts coming down with snow to get through the pass. Don't try to come here with a little car as the parking lot can be hard to get through or at least have better tires
Totally understaffed, long lines everywhere for everything. Skiing was pretty fun, but experience was ruined by the lines and the resulting rude people.
Things are a lot more expensive up here, but other than that it's a really fun ski resort
Night skiing is good. Variety of runs. Ticket system efficient
It was better. Now it's not bad too.
A new corporation bought the entire .
Pro :New system with a new pass now you can ski or snowboard in different locations in the world .
Con: local now need to pay more
Great mountain and beautiful scenery. This is the closest mountain to me and my sis and I love head up a few times a year. Winter is great and I heard there is a mtn. bike track during the summer. I'll have to check that out.
The skiing terrain is pretty amazing. Nicely shaped moguls everywhere. Good grooming. Not much intermediate terrain available due to it mostly being blocked off for races and race practice, been during the week. They have a nice long super easy green run for beginners, but the diamonds are definitely where this resort shines. The views are also amazing on a clear day. The employees have all been very friendly and helpful. Even when I witnessed one customer railing on one employee at the ticket booth. The employee was friendly to the individual and was able to diffuse the client.
Prices went up on everything. Food quality went down.
Great place for skiing for beginners or advanced skiers alike. Ample parking. Decent facilities. On week ends lift get super busy and rentals might not be available.
Great place to visit if you are planning to ski.. for beginners there is a school..No pets allowed though!
Amazing park. I usually go to Crystal and thought I would hate how small this mountain is but the park makes up for it. Might even get my season pass here next year instead of Crystal.
Chill vibes and awesome trails. Not quite as well built as Whistler and a bit less variety. Perfect if you are looking for something more low key resort-wise.
My husband gets to downhill. My kids get good lessons. I get to cross country. It really has something for everyone. Love the shuttle between the alpine and Nordic areas!
Stevens Pass is one of the nicest mountains in Washington. They are one of the highest mountains on the west side of the state and get better snow than the lower areas. There and is a reasonable mix of terrain including some good cruising and also glade skiing and more open spaces that are great on a powder day. There is also a large beginner area that allows for progression and numerous ski schools that can provide instruction. The mountain staff are friendly and helpful.
Use to be cheaper and affordable but now it s very expensive!
Parking can be a challenge if you don't come really, but good terrain and a gin mountain once you get there. Great terrain park, probably the best in Washington. Be warned: if you live in Western Washington, highway 2 on weekends are almost always congested coming westbound in the evenings coming towards Monroe. Last time we were there, it took is 4 hours to get home to Seattle (2 hours going there in the morning).
Beautiful and magical in any kind of weather (and you might experience several kinds of weather between Monroe and Wenatchee). Always amazing and in the winter sometimes scary!
I stopped atop Steven's Pass to hike along the PCT. Beautiful area.
Plenty of parking, but holiday weekends are busy! So get there by 8:15am if u want to park for free. Today we waited 75 min for rentals without reservations.
Great park with a great variety of difficulties in slopes. Approximately 30 different individual slopes. Although one day four of the eight or nine lifts were closed including two of the main ones.
This is a good location to enjoy with family. The hotels here are spacious and offer good food at reasonable prices. Very good place for skiing. You must check weather conditions before you go there. If heavy snowfall is there roads will be closed for some time. People who go for a short trip are better to take extra clothes and food.
Great mountain in all sorts of ways. If you are in Washington you must go!
A great place for all kinds of snow activities. Really family friendly. Kind staff. And beautiful sights. It is a must go. The parking is good. The lifts are great! The only thing is the crowd.
Very nice place not just to ski but for some photo/sight seeing.
Great resort for beginners and experts, if you live in the area it's definitely worth it to get a season's pass. Make sure to visit the backside if you're up there.
Stevens is a solid hit! Great snow, close drive from Seattle, excellent food and amazing runs! Bulls Tooth has a bit of a wait for seating, but food has been consistently great. Lift wait is minimal most days. Pow weekends and event days can get a bit longer... but still well worth a season pass.
Best ski spot in Seattle. Convenient parking, plenty of chair lifts, variety of runs, currently friendly staff. Night skiing!!
Terrain is good. Took an hour and a half to get parked.
Stopped in while passing through on motorcycle trip. Great walking trails and active downhill cycling community. Signs posted to keep hikers and cyclists on different paths, to keep both active groups out of each other's way. Scenic mountain views, rolling meadows with wildflowers in bloom at this time of year. Significant grade on hiking trails, not technically challenging, but you will get some exercise! There is also a disc golf course a little higher up the mountain from where these pictures were taken. The lodge serves lunch and is licensed, however can't comment on that aspect as we had already had our lunch.
Beautiful scenic mountains and great skiing trails.
Great resort, love the terrain. Lines never get too long. Parking is kind of a double edge sword. On one side, it fills up around 8:30 on most weekends, so you have to get there a little early. On the other, it does help to keep lines reasonably short.
We had been here 4 times in winter, as snow activities are a lot popular here. we never thought there will be so much happening around this place even throughout the year. They had mountain biking going on yesterday which was really wow/scary/amazing(no single reaction ) to watch.. also there are quite a few hikes , and fall colors are stunning to see.. must make visit to this pass every season I guess .
Lots of good runs. The music on Saturday usually is great. The learning area is a good place for beginners. The only downside is the cost and quality of the food. They don't match.
Great PNW mountain. A bit more difficult as I believe most (or all) isn t groomed, but that s the fun part!
Nice Skiing resort. Lift ticket is not expensive if buying before season start. Runs are ok. sometimes long wait at the lift. i like Seven heaven run.
I like what they have so far for the mountain bike park. Would love to see more. 6" bike friendly
It was a beautiful day on the slopes when I was there! The staff there is always friendly and helpful!
Good runs, but watch out for terrian parks, they're not regulated
Skiing, amazing. Get her early to get a spot in the lots and enjoy!
You should totally go to snoqualmie. Stevens is wayyyyy too dangerous.
Awesome snow and great experience... very friendly staff. Well laid out nicely groomed runs with fast safe lifts.
If you mountain bike but have never tried downhill, give Stevens Pass a try in the summer! So much fun! Even if you don't have a bike, bike rentals are available. The green trails are do-able by pretty much anyone that's comfortable on a bike.
We went on the 4th of July weekend and everything was closed even bathroom.s which we rely needed badly. We didn't see any signs saying it was closed. I wish their public bathroom.s have running water to wash I stead of just an outhouse.
Love it, sometime too crowded but it is still a great resort to have fun in the winter
Thanks Katie from the ski patrol. You were awesome. Me and my fractured knee appreciate all your hard work!
Really enjoy the resort, its close to seattle has good runs, ok food and ample parking.
PS they have electric car charging too and you can charge your tesla on teh superchargers on the way from seattle
Good medium size ski area with totally inadequate food facilities and slow ticket and rental lines. We arrived at 8:30 am but didn't get on the snow until 10:00 am. There was a 200 person line for lift tickets outside, and 50-75 people in the rental checkout line at any given time. Cafeteria lines were just as bad. Took over 30 minutes to wait in line for a burger. Crystal Mountain handles the crowds much better than Stevens Pass.
The like, totally, most stellar local mountain! Owned by Vail now but hasn't yet lost it's small mountain vibe. Good tree runs and a few fast chairs up to the top make for great runs. Terrain park is good if that's what your into with several sizes of kickers, good features and lots of park rats to show you wild new tricks. Nice smooth and fast groomers on the front side and a few cat tracks. Gonna be a good day. -1 star for chili that gave me the runs
What a shame it's lost it's charm under new ownership there is no love for skiers to be found or even treating customers decently! Spend you money elsewhere! For 25 years it has been my favorite place to ski, not because it's a great ski area, but because it was quaint and freindlyplace where you enjoyed skiing. After today I doubt I'll go there again after. Parking was a nightmare. After being directed all the way to the reserve lots before 11am, we were told to keep driving 45 minutes to Leavenworth and come back after 3pm. They also would not allow dropping off teen skiers to join other family that got there earlier with staff that were just plain rude and nasty. I've skied many places in NA and Europe and have never had such a negative experience from an overpriced resort!
Great snow, excellent and courteous staff... however, limited trails, and short vertical drop. Few lifts, and they get crowded on the weekends, so expect to wait in line to catch a ride to the top. Majority of the slopes face the west, so no afternoon sun to light up the terrain on the slopes. Access to the base of the main chair lift requires a hike uphill from the lodge/ticket window area... not my favorite ski area so far, but I guess I'm spoiled after years of skiing in Colorado and Utah. However, if you're a skier, and are visiting the Seattle area in the winter time, its worth the trip from downtown, for the picturesque views en-route, and the quaint little towns you pass through....
