Stevens pass is first place I learned to Ski. I had an amazing time.

Special thanks to the girl at the ticketing counter - Alyssa Olson. She did an incredible job of accommodating our group booking ( we didn't do this correctly at first). Great customer service can really turn around a bad day into an awesome day.

Also, please drive a 4-wheel drive or a monster truck. The parking lot just sinks in ice

I have skied most of the northwest resorts but this was the first time at Stevens, so an unbiased review for weekend skiing: We really tried to like it but it is extremely crowded. At least the lift lines move fairly well, but I repeat...crowded! Front side blue runs are fun. Lots and lots of "advanced(?) beginners" careening down the slopes and as a result the backside was some of the most unrelaxing skiing I've encountered in some time. Probably better when the snow is better. Which brings me to snow - why do they list runs as groomed when they obviously haven't groomed in last 24 hours? That's part of what I'm paying for but the resort failed. Maybe with the large crowds and no new snow they just give up. An odd quirk is that coming in to the base area from the bottom of the runs you either have to walk up a hill or take a short rope tow to get there. I couldn't see that you're really able to ski in there with a little momentum; maybe the crowd blocked my view.

This is my go-to mountain for boarding every year. Love the views, the tracks, the lodges, everything. The staff are generally helpful as well.

They also show customer appreciation - as demonstrated by their loyalty program given to those who decided to renew their season passes after a notably poor 2014-15 season.

Will keep boarding here for years to come!

Bathrooms are clean, food is great, employees are very helpful, and great snowboarding! Expensive places so be wary on what you buy. Located right off of hwy 2! Parking can be packed quickly so plan accordingly!

I went for military appreciation day which is once a month for a great price. I was surprised it wasn't busy when I went for that day. I like how the lockers can be paid for for a day but 9$ is alot for a locker. I used my car the 2nd time I went.
The ticket windows are a bit slow but its because they ask for id when getting an epic pass card and need information. The prices are the lifts are crazy for a regular day. Im glad i have a military epic for next season as even just going twice is worth it and you can avoid the ticket line and just show up at a lift. The ticket checkers at the lifts for the one day were super happy and were dancing to music which was awesome. And i kept falling when getting off the chair on top since im new and the people on top kept giving me advice on what to do. I like how the 2 chairs slow down on top which is nice to get your feet grounded when learning how to get off a chair on a board.
There is lots of choice for food there but so far ive only went into the drink/snack bar.
The slopes are great but for quiet the backside is a must. Plus I had more fun on the backside. I also look forward to doing some night boarding next year.

Love this ski area. Plenty of trails to explore for any level. Lots of lifts so the lines are not too bad even on the busiest days. Multiple restaurants, cafes and coffee shops for a variety of breakfast, lunch and apres options. Great night skiing. Parking can be an issue on weekends. Either come early (by 8am) or aim to arrive in the afternoon around 1pm when early folks start leaving and freeing up some spots.

Great ski resort, even better lessons!

My wife and I haven't been skiing in 10 years and we did our research on the best options when leaving from Seattle. We chose Stevens and we are glad we did.

We got there early ( in the parking lot by 7:50) and everything was a breeze. Granted, we got there before the crowds. But, even after it got busy, the longest lift line was about 6-7 minutes.

My wife took a private lesson. She's a novice. Beth was AMAZING. She's an excellent instructor and got my wife comfortable on skiis like she had never been before.

I'm looking forward to taking a mogul lesson with Beth.

On top of all that, every single staffer at Stevens was very helpful and super friendly.

My one complaint is the checkin system for reservations is a bit clunky. We ended up needing help and it's easy to imagine the line getting backed up when lots of people show up at once.

We will definitely be back.

Although I am torn about the daily lift ticket price for the amount of terrain you get to ride, I have never jad a bad day on this mountain. I have made new friends and a ton of memories at this place. The staff is stellar, and one of Steven's greatest attributes. WARNING: leave early on the weekends.

Very nice place for beginners and intermediate lovers of winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding. A bit crowded on weekends, but it just stresses the quality of this resort. Very well maintained, professional employees, nice equipment (for rent). Lifts feel safe and rapid. The snacks and drinks little overpriced, but you can't expect anything else when see those lines in the afternoon I would highly recommend this beautifull place to anyone.

Unremarkable overcrowded ski resort with very limited parking and ancient lifts. If you're an Epic pass holder, there is no single reason to go there unless you're local and live very close to it. Otherwise, do yourself a favor: go to Whistler instead.

P.S. Extra star for nice mountain views on a sunny day.
