Awesome experience, good skiing place, night skiin...
Awesome experience, good skiing place, night skiing possible.
Awesome experience, good skiing place, night skiing possible.
It's not Whistler BC or Sunpeaks but good skiing here. The snow is good and lot's of good run's for everyone.
Parking is terrible, its highly expensive and its always packed, but the mountain is epic.
Great place to ski, best park in WA, and a wide variety of terrain. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare though.
This is where I chose to have my season pass when I lived in Seattle. Fun mountain, lots of room to spread out, wide range of terrain difficulty and styles. Everything always seemed well run. Definitely need to arrive early on weekends because the parking situation is sub-optimal.
My rating is looking at the mountain as a place to ski and board. This isn't a ski resort and the apres scene at the mountain isn't why you would come here.
Nice to hike in summer and beautiful slopes in winter always worth a stop
I love stevens pass, have been going to this resort for years. They offer fantastic beginner terrain and expert terrain. The best park in washington as far as take-offs and landings.
Season pass holder for 6 years. Still only $319 for Select Pass and Premium Pass is a steal at $549. Trying to post a recent 360 from Stevens will it work?
We go there every winter. Everything is good just hope they would lower the price.
Needed to text . Just pulled in for a few minutes .
Parking is the worst and lift tickets are way too expensive for such a tiny resort... Don't waste your time... Go to Crystal every time!
Great place to ski. Varied train for everyone. Parking can be difficult, but is a breeze on weekdays.
Waste of Time! No Parking! Arrived at 10AM on December 30th 2016. Had to turn around. Wasted 3 hours. Steven's Pass Resort has had parking problems for 8 years by their own admission. They still have problems supplying their customers with a basic necessity. Either Steven's Pass Resort is run by people or are incompetent or by people who do not care about their patrons.
It's a fun ski area but it can be crowded. Typical NW snow 90% of the time but they get some cold dry powder on occasion.
great place for snow, instructors are quite awesome!
Great staff, awesome mountain with all sorts of terrain and lodge food is also great
Fish and Chips were excellent along with the fresh salads.
Lots of snow and high winds.Very treacherous driving conditions this afternoon. I have a 4wheel drive and had to use chains and drove no more than 30 mph.
Fun day on the slopes. Really crowded but still had a great time.
The facilities are inadequate to handle the crowd. Everything is lacking, including parking, bathrooms, and eating facilities. The terrain is good but the lift lines are long. Highway 2 is also sorely lacking capacity; the trip home took an extra 45 minutes with stop and go traffic.
One the best Mountains that I've ever skied, if you like a super steep mountain with great snow, you have to ski Stevens Peak
Dont go on the weekend! With the higher prices it's not worth it. Paying online in advance still led to 1.5 hours of lines before the first run (arrived just before 9am). Otherwise a decent resort.
Great hill, lots of diverse terrain and extremely helpful staff!
Been going here for about 7 years and have always recommended it over the other resorts in the area. However, things have changed. I will say that the ski patrol group is awesome but that s about it. The parking staff is rude and unprofessional. Parking is also extremely unorganized. We arrived at 8:45 (15 minutes before they open) from the west. We waited in the right lane to get in the parking lot but when we got to the front of the line it was full. They did not do anything to let people know it was full. So we were directed to the lots down the road which were again full from people that didn t wait in the line for the main lot. We were then directed a few miles down the road to yodelin. Again this lot was full. We were then directed 4 miles down the road to the Nordic center. We finally get parking after sitting in traffic. It is now 9:30. The resort shuttles people from the Nordic center parking up to the resort. It took over half an hour for the first shuttle to get to the Nordic center. It was a van that seated 10-15 people. The line for the shuttle was around 300-400 people long. It is now 11:30 and still no bus has come, only vans. The line is still around 300 people long. The bigger problem comes from the resort being bought by Vail Resorts. Vail also owns whistler. Now Vail made some changes including the lift tickets. You can no longer just buy a lift ticket and use it when you want to but you instead have to schedule a lift ticket. So when you get stuck in their disaster of a parking system for 3+ hours you can t just leave and come back the following weekend. You can only use your day pass for the day you scheduled it, or the day after. On top of that the parking are rude and disrespectful (for the most part, I m sure there are some good ones). We ended up leaving and going to Leavenworth to try and salvage a terrible day. I usually go to Stevens 5-10 times a season but after these new changes and their parking issues I will be taking my money elsewhere. What was once a resort that had a feeling of a small town, family resort has turned into a corporate business that does not care about you, just your money. Also there were some people that weren t able to find parking anywhere, even 8 miles down the road. These people were not able to use their passes and go skiing/boarding. But Vail, I mean Stevens, will not refund your ticket or let you use it on another day. Before Vail s purchase of the resort these issues would not have happened, but if they did Stevens would have handled it appropriately. For instance, my brother and I purchase 4-6 day powder packs each year. One year because of injury my brother was not able to use it and they refunded it. This year my brother got admitted to WSU at the last minute and decided to go. About a 5 hour drive away. Vail/Stevens would not refund his unused powder pack. I would recommend making your way to Crystal or Baker if you can. Or smaller resorts like mission ridge or white pass.
Love this place. Learned here and will always be my home place! Good runs and the lodges are nice!
I came with friends for the day, while they ski, planning to get some work done. I am shocked they do not have WiFi for customers. What year is it?
Good facilities and decent number of lifts/runs. Even on a busy weekend, doesn't feel like you are waiting forever. Good ski school for kids.
Amazing ski resort with informative lessons for beginners.
Great terrain but parking can be a pain and the chairlift layout does not maximize the mountain. Still excellent for proximity to Seattle.
The backside is a gem, lots of great slopes and tree trails.
Great runs of various difficulty, fast chairs, short lines. Love it here, even better on the backside, mill valley.
Because it was a weekday, I got good parking and an easy line to pick up lift ticket and rentals despite coming in at 12pm. Super friendly staff!
Best mountain for night skiing close to Seattle
Edit: my last experience at Stevens s pass was terrible! It was during the day and the lines were super long, there were rude pretentious people everywhere. There is hardly an ski etiquette used on the runs. To top it off while we were leaving I overheard a man tell his 8 year old son an incredibly racist remark about a family that was skiing there. I won t be back to this mountain during the day. Alpental is much better and the people aren t jerks.
I like it pretty much. It s a newly opened ski resort. We got tickets from costco and it costs around 60 dollars each allday ticket. But probably tickets are not available anymore in costco... snow environment is generally good. But sometimes parking could be a nightmare... our car got stuck into the snow once and it costs a lot to push it out...
All of the amenities of a top notch ski resort. The resort offers beginner bunny hills to Diamond runs. Restaurants/food is truly delicious for ski resorts and prices are reasonable. The lay out is the best. Enough area for people to feel the fresh air and breath in some peace. The main lodge is beautiful and offers a huge fire place to sit around and relax. We were there for 8+ hours with the kids and we heard no complains. The bathrooms were clean, parking was good and service/staff were pleasant. The VIEWS were the best and getting here, OMG Beautiful!
Great place to stop and take your Christmas card photo before it opens for skiing
Nice place. I am not getting used to the mountain biking. Really interested.
An amazing place to go and ski or snowboard and it's only 3 hours away from Seattle. Get your butt off the couch and go do something today.
Love it. Great shredding, great ppl, great food. It will break your bank just the same as any other ski resort will.
Get here early on the weekend or you won't find parking! What a great place! Tons of great runs! And the friendliest staff of any ski resort I've been too. Night skiing was great too, lots of well lit trails and high speed lifts.
Great resort with excellent skiing. Biggest set back is the traffic is gnarly and if you arrive after 10am unlikely to get a parking spot.
Great place to learn to ski or enjoy some amazing slopes. The variety of food available keeps everyone happy.
Weekends are crowded so get there before opening for a good parking spot.
So much love for the Stevens Pass area. My family loves to get outside and this is a great spot to experience the Cascades!
Learned to ski here! Their learn in 3 program is a great deal if you're starting out with either sport
Prices have certainly shot up. But the runs haven't changed. I wish that we would see more of a benefit to the rising prices such as a new run or a new lift. Although I know that a new lift costs millions, the price hikes are enormous every year. But certainly a good place to go and learn to board or ski.
Best deals on lift tickets and best bang for the buck.
Absolutely love it! It's also my kids' preferred ski resort so far.
Some of the best Skiing within a day trip from Seattle.
Stevens really needs to update their lifts and hire more staff. Lifts opened up 40 minutes late on only 3 inches new snow over night. Not cool if you only have a couple hours of skiing before work.
Great service, well established and efficient. But darn those prices. Can't wait to go back.
Runs are good. Crowds are terrible. This place definitely needs some expansion. If you can't get there by 8 or earlier on a weekend, don't even bother until night skiing. And good luck finding a table and getting food in under an hour. I've been going here roughly 15 years, and the last couple years are really testing my patience. I've been deciding to go to Baker when I have a full day to kill and enjoy my experience a whole lot more
Love the resort, but it gets so crowded on the weekends. Lift lines can be 45 mins long. Seems that there are a lot of aggressive skiers and snowboarders as well, relative to other resorts. I'm a relatively new skier, and have been called all sorts of derogatory names for being slower and careful. No one has ever offered words of wisdom. Whereas, at every other resort I've skied, someone has stopped to offer me tips on improving. Probably won't get another seasons pass at Stevens after this year.
My favourite resort in the North Cascades, I am a seasons pass holder and love the variety of Terrain.
I would like to ski here, but unfortunately it is still summer. Despite the high ticket prices it is definitely worth a visit if you want to visit the beautiful mountains of Canada. There are also hiking trails so that you can walk good 2.5h or 4h with good footwear.
We were there in December 2019. Amazing ski slope and perfect stop over for an hour while going to Leavenworth or cascades.
A good place for skiers and snowboarders. I put 4 on the pope nowhere to go
When here for night riding, have to say best night riding in Washington. Terrain park is amazing
Home Mountain, busy on the weekends but weekdays are always great. Ski School was great for my daughter, ths lessons were wonderful and she has a blast!
Love it. Def notice some changes after the buyout, but not bad.
Good ski rental facilities, the rental process is very optimized and efficient. Good ski slopes too. Can get crowded quickly which means no parking spots. The nearest other parking is Nordic pass which is 5 miles away.
Terrible place, crystal and snoqualmie are better, go there
Its fun because snowboarding is fun. That being said it is Seattle in the mountains. The traffic is bad it's over crowded with rude people and everything is super expensive. Considering Baker for future trips.
2019 trash yet again! Unusable mountain!
Excellent variety in terrain and difficulty. The backside of the mountain is amazing when it gets filled in. Parking can be an issue with the lots either being full or needing you to walk a long distance to the lifts. The scanners they have at the base lifts work well and make it really easy for season pass holders to just ski right up and be up the mountain.
