It s a very depressing place. When my mother arrived by ambulance transport, we were not greeted or acknowledged in any way. I had to walk to a nurses station and ask for help getting my mom settled in. It s noisy and a loud call bell is constantly going off. Mom was left alone for long periods of time. They would drop her food tray off and leave it by her bedside even though she was unable to feed herself. The staff seemed very disengaged and annoyed if you had requests or questions. After my mom died, I came to collect her belongings. Again, no acknowledgement from staff. No condolences, nothing. I visited my mom every day while she was there for two weeks and every time I came in, they had no idea who I was and never approached me about my mom s care. Every time we discussed mom s care, it was because I had to go to a nurses station and specifically ask for help. Unfriendly, bare minimum care.
