Had a great purchase experience at Stevens Ford in Milford, CT, working with Annette Corzo this week. As an experienced car buyer (first purchase 30 years ago!), I was very impressed. We got the car we wanted, and were helped through the sales process with knowledge and efficiency, and without sales pressure. Would highly recommend, and I will definitely be returning to Stevens Ford and looking for Annette for my future auto needs.

I was looking for a new car and requested pricing ...

I was looking for a new car and requested pricing on a new Focus that I saw in stock on Steve's Ford / Lincoln's website. I received a quick reply from the Internet Sales Manager a fantastic price that was before factory rebates.

I went in and was met by Joseph, a sale person at the dealership. He was extremely friendly and not pushy at all. He really made the entire car-buying experience stress and drama free. There were no hidden fees or tense moments to speak with a manager....everything was amazingly smooth. It was great!

The day I came in to pick up the car, Joseph spent a good 45 minutes going over all the features of the vehicle and made sure any questions I had were answered. He introduced me to the Service Department and set up my first (FREE) maintenance. He's a fantastic person to deal with.

Would I recommend Stevens Ford / Lincoln? ABSOLUTELY! Ask for Joseph, he is a winner!

Hector Diaz helped us through our entire process to get our new Certified preowned Lincoln. The dealership is full of good professionals who do go above and beyond. I removed a Star because the length of time it takes to get stuff done when buying is laborious. But that's an industry issue more than anything, not one dealer.

Living in New England, I wanted a car with All Wheel Drive. I've owned Fusions in the past and loved them, so that was what I chose. Stevens had the perfect Fusion for me, low mileage, All Wheel Drive, good price.
We dealt with Roberto, and could not have asked for a better salesperson. He's friendly, helpful and always willing to take care of something. I would absolutely recommend this dealership and Roberto to anyone looking to add a Ford to their life.

I brought my car in for a check engine light. It took almost an entire day just for them to get back to me. When they called they told me it was $700.00 for a repair. Upon researching the claimed issue they wanted to charge me $700.00 for an unnecessary repair. I declined service at that time to which they advised they would let me know once my car was ready... that was almost another full day. Then when I got the car back I had different mirrors on the car! The only reason I even noticed is that my previous mirrors did not have blind spot built in and these did! NO ONE at the dealership advised of an issue with my mirrors.
Side note: upon getting the car back for the $139.00 diagnostics fee and the $33.00 part for a total of $172.00 my car has been working perfectly no additional engine light issues. Luckily we have an honest dealership that provided is with accurate assessment of the REAL issue. It took my husband 30 min to replace the part in question...
Needless to say I will not be going back for service or future repairs.

I just purchased a Ruby Red 2015 F350 Platinum. I was working with Carl who sold me the same truck in 2014. I have to say Carl went out of his way to make this deal happen. He contacted me to let me know about a Ford financing rebate which helped push this deal through. I traded two vehicles in and Carl made sure they gave me the best numbers which was a couple of thousand higher then the next dealer. Trading them in vs selling them privately saved me the sales tax on the entire purchase price!! Even weeks after I picked up my truck Carl still made himself available to resolve a minor issue even made sure a loaner vehicle was made available to me. Carl's positive attitude, personality and knowledge made this transaction a very positive experience. I highly recommend this dealer and I highly reccomend you speak with Carl.

Recently leased a Ford Escape and Bobby was my salesman. Right away he made us feel comfortable about the process and treated us like family. He never pushed me into anything just to make a sale. The experience was great! I m never going anywhere else to purchase a vehicle again. I m loving the car, but the experience that Bobby made for me. Made me never want to give any other dealership but theirs business. And the best part was he went out of his way with his own money and bought my son three toy sets just for hanging with us that day and being good. What salesman would ever do that ? My experience with Joshua in finances was like sitting down with a friend, he as well is not your typical business guy that just cares about money. He did his job but talked with us like he s known us forever. These guys are great! They actually care about people. Highly recommend this dealership, never going anywhere else.

I happened to stumble upon my dream car, 2008 BMW ...

I happened to stumble upon my dream car, 2008 BMW M3, at this dealership which I thought very random since it is a Ford dealership but I was excited none the less. I was also fortunate to have Joseph Hudak show me the car and answer any questions that I had. He even protected the car from other potential buyers while I was in the process of considering buying the car which was much appreciated! After taking it for a test drive I knew that this was the one and Joe worked with me to get the best deal fro me. Stevens was very flexible with payment and pickup of the vehicle. Other than a slight computer glitch on the car, I could not be happier with the car or the service that I was provided. I would definitely recommend this dealership and Joesph Hudak to anyone who is interested in buying a used or new car from Stevens!

I ve more than 5 times to this dealer for oil change and so far i ve a good experience. Except for once when I took my car for oil change and they didn t do the check points inspection and for my unfortunate my battery was bad and I wished I knew it needed to be replaced that way I didn t have to pay for another inspection

Joseph did a great job understanding what we were looking for, and we ended up getting a great deal on a new vehicle we had not even considered as we started the process. I brought my 2014 Ford Focus in on January 3rd to ...

I brought my 2014 Ford Focus in on January 3rd to be serviced for a reoccurring known issue with the transmission jerking forward when I attempt to accelerate. My check engine light also came on. They called me and said they were replacing my clutch to resolve the jerking and that the O2 sensor was reason for the check engine light and it was not covered under warranty and would be $250 to reset the sensor. I asked the service advisor John Pitassi, if the sensor would be detrimental to how my car is driving and could I wait to get that repair done. He said, Not necessarily, you ll probably just notice you re burning through your gas a lot quicker. I was okay with that because I was going to have the sensor reset elsewhere. I told him to proceed with replacing the clutch. The dealership calls and says my car is ready for pickup. I arrive and John hands me my keys and guess what? MY CAR DOESN T START. I go back inside and tell John and he needs to keep my car to figure out why it s not starting all of the sudden. John calls me the next day and states that now I need a new starter and guess what? It s somehow not covered under warranty. Go figure. I told John that I found it kind of odd that I wasn t experiencing a faulty starter before bringing my car in and as you finish repairing my car, I can t leave with it in working condition. He agreed to replace the starter at no charge. Fast forward to picking up my car, I drive it for 4 more days and the jerking begins again and my check engine light is back on. At this point, I called the service manager, Anthony Ruggiero, and he said, Well have you ever turned on a light and the light bulb just shatters?? Your car is fine and your clutch is just working itself out. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? That s the analogy you want to use to compare my broken car that you JUST serviced?? At this point my car sits and i don t use it for a couple of days because Anthony says they can t see my car for a week! I go to turn my car on and my engine light is finally off. However, I start driving and BAM, the car jerked so hard that I couldn t speed past 20 mph. I took a video of the car and the weird sound it started making after they repaired it. They take it in and say the sound is from a cap that broke when they replaced my starter and that the o2 sensor is actually now the reason why my car is jerking and is somehow now $350 to reset, LIKE WHAT??? They said they would replace the cap but i needed to pay for the sensor. I told them I d call them back. I called two other Ford dealers in the area and explained the diagnosis and asked how much it would be to replace it because I didn t trust this dealership at this point. GUESS WHAT!? Both dealerships had serviced advisors that were able to pull up the part and said, Wow, I have no idea why they are trying to charge you anything. The o2 sensor is clearly under warranty. They were able to pull it up in less than 5 minutes. I called back and asked the new service advisor that I was now working with for the second time since both John and Anthony refused to acknowledge my presence. I asked Richard, Do you want to explain to me why I called two other Ford dealers who were able to pull up my warranty in under 5 minutes and stated I was covered for all these repairs? Richard stated he was still unable to see my warranty so I told him fine I ll tow my car to the another dealer who could replace it for free. He said no no no let me talk to my service manager Anthony, because he knows all about the warranties. He comes back on the phone and says, Yeah my service manager said he doesn t know why you were quoted a charge, you re under warranty for up to 150,000 miles. At this point, I can t even make this up. I also never received one apology for this entire fiasco. I ve reported them to Ford Consumer Affairs and next I ll be reporting them to the DMV because who knows who else they are doing this to. So please everyone, READ YOUR WARRANTIES.
PS: I also have Video of John Pitassi stating, It must of been because we mistyped a key. TWICE!!

I've had dealings with a vast number of car dealers over the years. I must say, my Stevens Ford experience is the best by far. So much so that when my wife was looking to replace her car, the first place that popped in my mind was the place that treated me so well when I was looking for my own car less than six months ago. One of my biggest pet peeves about car salesmen are how they're your best friend in the world...until you sign on that dotted line, but afterwards you can't seem to get in contact with them. That definitely has not been the case at Stevens. My salesman, Joseph Hudak was available to answer any post sale questions I may have had. I'd definitely go back to Stevens for another vehicle.

Incredible service, professionalism and follow up....

Incredible service, professionalism and follow up.

I am the proud owner of a 2015 F350 Lariat diesel that I purchased from Stevens Ford brand new. They are the only place that has serviced the truck since I bought it. For me that s unusual because my friend is an awesome ASE certified mechanic and could do the work for me at his shop but I choose Stevens because of the incredible level of service they provide.

On the service and maintenance side the price is always very reasonable especially for a dealership. When you drop the car off they get you in and out quick and if you want to use night drop (I have done both drop off and night drop) they call you first thing in the AM to greet you and talk about your needs before they do the work. They call you with updates throughout the day and they will call you when it s ready for pick up. They have a really awesome text message system that can keep you updated throughout the service being done as well if you choose to use it.

Here is where they really won me over for life; I had a computer problem, my Advanc-Trac and Hill Decent error warning messages kept coming on and off. If you know anything about cars, electrical problems are the most difficult to solve for and they take tons of time. I drove the truck to the dealer with the error message on and the service manager pulled a tech from what he was doing to plug the diagnosis tool in on the spot to see what the problem was. The electrical problem was not easy, they had to chase wires in the harness and replace & adjust 2 control modules, it was a very complex issue. I learned they have a tech support team at Ford Corporation to assist with super complex problems and they assisted as well. The truck was at the dealership for a total of 5 days as they were working through the problem. After day 2 because it was a complex problem Anthony offered me a loaner car which was also very nice of him but I didn t need it because I have several cars at home.

Throughout the process they were in constant communication with me to tell me what was going on in detail, where the parts were, they used Fed Ex to speed up delivery so I didn t have to wait longer and I was very comfortable throughout the process because I knew exactly what was going on. Once the problem was solved when I went to pick up the truck I asked to speak to the tech Keith and he couldn t have been a nicer guy. He came out to greet me, shook my hand, and took the time to explain all that he had done to determine and fix the problem. They did such and incredible job. I was super impressed and very thankful. So thankful, I gave Keith the tech a small gift to show my appreciation.

The people that need recognition are:

Anthony, Service Manager, what an awesome leader, proactively wanted to make sure he and his team were doing all that they could from me.

Keith, Technician, can t say enough, Keith is the man, never gave up, found and fixed a super complex problem. Cars & Trucks today are 50% computer controlled, maybe more. He is an expert and he knows what he is doing !!

Rich, John and Arnie, 3 service advisors who called me regularly to keep me informed. Always pleasant and helpful, all 3 are great guys.

So, in the event you are in the market for a Ford or just need service I highly recommend this team. As you just read, my experiences have been spot on every time and when it got complex they got it done.

In closing, I was NOT compensated for this review. I m just an average guy that uses reviews to make a lot of decisions. I write them, good or bad because people need accurate information. I hope this is helpful.

I would highly recommend working with Annette Corzo! Annette is passionate about her job and makes the experience of being at a car dealership so much more enjoyable! Annette stayed in touch with us throughout the process knowing that we had to make the decision on our own time. Thanks to her we were able to lease our second Escape with the dealership at a price that works for our growing family. She was very knowledgeable about the different models and features that we would be getting. I felt that she had our best interest in mind versus just trying to make the sale and that is so appreciated. Thanks Annette!!!

I wish I could say differently, but I have had maj...

I wish I could say differently, but I have had major issues with this dealership. It took them 4 times to fix my emergency break despite being told the 2nd time there was nothing wrong with it. My breaks squeak because of it and the service manager wrote in the paperwork i refused break service. eh blamed the service tech for it. He said he would fix it and still said the same thing. My rear windshield was replaced, it has been in 4 times and is still leaking. I was charged because they claimed it was leaking from a light but the problem wasn't fixed. I was then given a loaner car on empty and told it was a quarter tank and it had a cracked windshield. They insisted I cracked the windshield. Now they refuse to fix my leaking window. The service manager was rude and used some disrespectful words, I have left the owner 3 messages with no return call. I guess he doesn't care to know about his rude staff, or incompetent mechanics. I would never buy a vehicle from them or buy one either. They overcharged me, and the issue still isn't fixed. I will be sure to tell everyone i know so they dont go here, i will also leave the same feedback on every website I can.

My GMC lease was coming due and I decided to shop for a new car. Joseph Hudak, salesman at Sevens Ford Dealership, listened to what kind of car I wanted, what options were a priority ( automatic rear door lift) and what options were not(sun roof). A red Ford Escape fit the bill. Joe first took me on a test drive to make sure I love the feel and ride which I really did, We then sat down to discuss financing options and I decided to lease again. Joe answered all my questions and I ended up purchasing the car. The car was readied, I returned my GMC and Joe explained all the Escape's wonderful features and I drove off that afternoon in my new shiny red Escape.

I just purchased my new Ford Edge and I am so happy with it! This is my second one and I purchased both from Stevens Ford Lincoln. They are so knowledgeable and helpful in getting you what you want. I walked in and left two hours later with my new car. Samantha, my salesperson was so helpful, she answered all of my questions and really listened to what I wanted. .These guys... Particularly Leslie... Harass you. I've recieved 7 voicemails from them and calls on a daily basis after opting out and calling to make it stop. Called again to ask the phone calls to stop and we will see where it goes. I inquired online abojt pricing and you think after not receiving a call back they would stop calling right? Nope. 7 voicemails from Leslie. The desparity from this dealership. Just so everyone knows don't give them your phone number.. They aslo have Meh-pricing. Go to a different dealership because most other Ford dealers have better prices. I've never been harassed more and called more by a dealership I've never actually talked to. Thanks Leslie, hope you have a wonderful day of harassing prospective customers ;)

I was looking at the Focus and was very happy with...

I was looking at the Focus and was very happy with the vehicle, but the salesperson who was working with me (a young kid who shall remain nameless) gave me and my family blatant misinformation, and honestly illegal advice. I ve only included two examples below.

We were told that we could watch movies in the screen at the front of the vehicle, and when pressed the salesperson said it was absolutely fine and people do it all the time, and that it s great for the passenger. We contacted Ford, and were told by Ford that they highly stress that the screen should not be used for that purpose, as it will destroy the screen in no time flat, and is also illegal.

When we found a better deal elsewhere on a newer model, the salesperson frantically told me I ll order it for you! He tried to tell me he could order me any car or color I liked, and when pressed about whether it would lock me into the deal he tried to say it would be just to see if I liked it . Reader, please note that this WILL lock you into the deal, they won't just ship it for you to check it out, they'll do that because you purchase it.

This salesperson called me today to follow up with me, and I told him that Ford does not agree with half of the claims he made about the car, to give him the benefit of the doubt. He was more defensive and argumentative than anything. Some of this was clearly dangerous information. Its a shame it wasnt taken seriously.

A lot of misinformation was not included in this review. While I m sure others may have had different experiences with Stevens or with other salespeople, please take a look elsewhere and compare to what you ve seen at Stevens. If it seems too good to be true, it might be, and if you feel any pressure, you shouldn t. I went elsewhere and found myself relieved at the level of honesty I found in another dealership, which could have taken advantage of some of my naivety in the same ways this particular salesperson tried to, but actively advised me and informed me of what my car could and could not do, and what rebates I did and did not have available to me, etc. (And I got a better deal, on a newer model!)

TLDR, make sure you shop other ford dealers if you're including stevens in your list.

I was able to get right in and out. The staff here is always friendly and polite. The wait room is clean with plenty of comfy seating. I bring both of my Ford vehicles here for their oil changes since they use genuine Ford parts. I will continue to use Stevens for my service.

Purchased a used F350 from Steven's. I drove 2 hours (from NY) to look at the truck because it appeared to in excellent condition for the age. It also had low miles.

I was pleasantly suprised with how good of condition it was for an F350, since most are used as work trucks, this one was clearly different.

We were able to negotiate a very fair price, they took care of a few minor issues the truck had no questions asked and I picked up the truck a week later.

After the sale I noticed an issue with the truck that would not allow it to pass NY State Inspection. I recieved a phone call from Steven's asking if I was satisfied with my purchase, I explained I was but I did find the one issue post sale.

I was immediatly transfered to the Sales Manager who asked me to bring the truck right back so they can fix it. I explained I couldn't drive it the two hours back because of the repair it needed. He suggested that I have it repaired and he would reimburse me. To which I was suprised.

I had the repairs completed and sent him the invoice. I recieved a check for what I paid, again no questions asked.

Everyone at the dealer was very friendly even those who were not involved with the sale.

I work for an auto manufacturer (not Ford) and I know how important is for dealerships to go the extra mile for their customers and ensure they have a positive buying experience.
I can say everyone at Steven's shares this outlook.

Ron at Stevens Ford got us out of a real bind! Our car recently broke down while up in Canada, and the part that we needed (transmission coolant line) was on nationwide back order and not available anywhere. Out of desperation, I called our Ford Dealer (Park Ford in Mahopac NY), and they looked in the system and saw that Stevens Ford was showing one in inventory. I talked with Ron, and he confirmed that they did indeed have the part. He worked with me to UPS the part to the Ford dealer up in Canada where our car was waiting for servicing. He had never shipped internationally before, but persisted, and ultimately we got the car fixed and were able to come back to NY without delay. Thanks again Ron for your excellent customer service!

So I googled Lincoln Dealerships around the Stratford area because I was in the market for a new MKZ. Stevens came up and I searched the inventory and came across a gem. 2012 fully loaded with everything i could ask for. Joseph Hudak one of their client advisors there, made me feel like I was family from the moment i walked in to the moment I drove away. I have never had a better, more smooth and fast transition in buying a car than the one I had today at Stevens. Thank you Joseph for such a smooth and seamless experience. Carlos the finance guy worked it so that I stayed within my budget these guys are the place to go if you are looking for any car not just a new one. Thanks again.

Can't say enough about the service at Stevens Ford...

Can't say enough about the service at Stevens Ford. Seriously, I can't stand the process of major purchases and I couldn't have been happier in every step with how accommodating the entire team is at Stevens. Paul C was my sales associate and I called him on thirty minutes notice requesting two cars be close on hand and gassed for a test drive. I had had a 100 conversations with sales people that week and was just over it completely. Upon arrival at Stevens Paul was friendly and forthcoming and we immediately headed out to the waiting vehicles. We bought the Escape Titanium which the wife just loved, and Paul quickly took my deposit as requested and we were on our way. I handled the finance through Joshua who found me the best rate through Ford Finance directly, the warranty coverage included was fantastic and we chose the included maintenance and premium care as well. I don't have to worry about a single thing on this suv like... forever. Stephanie called to follow up on our satisfaction, Rick the Sales Manager, Peter the GM, every person I encountered was top notch.
Car's beautiful, my next car will be coming from Stevens!

I recently purchased a F150 from Stevens using the Consumer Reports service. My sales adviser was Bill McCoy. He was very helpful in finding me exactly what I wanted in terms of trim level and accessories. He even arranged for the swap of an accessory from my trade-in to the new truck. The trade-in value was very fair as was the price of the vehicle. All in all an excellent experience. This is why I keep coming back to this dealer.

I went in a few weeks ago with my '16 Fusion Energi with 7k miles on it for modem connectivity issues with myfordmobile. Nearly a brand new car. First visit for an hour of labor diagnostic they updated the sync system and thought that would be the fix. The problem still continued. Before leaving the dealership, I asked if someone could help me connect the myfordmobile app. Someone from the sales department came out to help. Obviously they were unfamiliar with the Energi model. They tried to tell me the car didn't have a modem, and pulled up the original invoice from the manufacturing of the car, and showed me that no modem was listed.

So I returned again for a second visit, I had to pay another hour of labor to diagnose the issue they should have determined in the first visit. The mechanic during the second visit told me that the sync update would not have corrected the modem issue. During the second visit, it was determined the modem was unable to be programmed, and a replacement was needed. The repair estimate was $455.47 for new modem + $100 labor + tax. Called other dealers in the area and found the modem price to be $350 + tax. Shopped online and found a dealer out of state and bought one for $290.04 including shipped to me.

So I returned for a third visit to have the modem installed. I asked them to please be careful during the repair and to put things back just the way they were with no damage. The technician came out to me in the waiting room and said that the part number on the modem was not correct and showed me his tablet that it couldn't be programmed. I called the dealer I purchased the item from, and they said the part numbers are different between ford and the manufacturer. The technician contacted ford, and was able to program it. Modem worked great. I inspected the car after completion, noticed a few of the speaker clips were not right, and there was a piece of weather stripping stuck inside the speaker.

So I returned for a fourth visit, the technician and service advisor who did the job looked at the car with me and said I would have to pay another hour of labor to have the car fixed properly. They would not accept responsibility.

I have to say I am very disappointed in the service I received regarding this matter. I find the customer service totally unprofessional.

The staff at Stevens was wonderful from start to finish. I live in New York but found the car I wanted on the Ford website, and the experience was seamless.

I began talking to Bridget, who confirmed availability of the car I wanted and helped go over pricing and the out-of-state leasing procedure. She answered all of my questions and when she didn't have an answer, she asked one of her colleagues for help and got right back to me. She was EXCELLENT and I highly recommend starting your experience with her, especially if you are researching cars online.

Occasionally during my interactions with Stevens, I spoke to Jimmy, the sales manager. While I didn't talk to him as much as with Bridget, Jimmy was equally as helpful and courteous.

Shortly before my visit, as well as while I was actually in the showroom, my assigned salesperson was Will Poole. Will was extraordinarily patient considering the fact that I was an out-of-stater, and he even informed me that when something on the car I was leasing didn't pass inspection, he insisted on replacing it. I thought his forthrightness was refreshing considering I was at a car dealership.

Josh, in the finance department, was the best of the bunch. I started with him by signing the various documents I needed to sign, but ended up shooting the breeze about family, hobbies and interests, and even his past experiences with doing out-of-state deals. He was a pleasure to work with, explained everything with concision, and made the "money" part a breeze.

My lease is up in three years, and assuming I don't move, there's a pretty damn good chance I'll be getting another car from Stevens.

Brought my van in with a big problem once I learned I needed a new engine (which sucked) I worked with Paul who I highly recommend gave me all the info I needed and kept me informed by phone and I couldn t believe how fast they got it done and clean no greasy finger prints courtesy for my tools and best of all Paul came in under his price. VERY HAPPY

2 hours for "The Works" oil change! Ridiculous! I had made an appointment as I needed to wait for the car so that I could go to work as soon as it was ready. One of the service reps said that they had two techs call out sick after me checking on the car an hour after it had been there. They always have this excuse. Last time it took over 90 minutes for the Works. The one time I was told to bring the car next door to the Steven's Express oil change place, it only took 45 minutes for the Works. Steven's Ford service department is very disorganized and the place seems to operate in chaos. I got reprimanded at work because of their inability to properly schedule their service appointments or staff their department. Steven's Ford did not offer to waive the $39.95 or compensate me in any way for my time lost. Why not come find me in the waiting area and explain that techs had called out sick and offer me a chance to reschedule? They knew I was waiting for the car. They should use the Express oil change center for all Works oil changes when their techs "call out sick." These are just some of the ways they could have handled the problem better.

Service manager is unprofessional, been there several times and he is the only one that never helps and makes my experience and day horrible, he never wants to give loaners even when your qualifed for one (recall), I over heard others not being able to get one because he doesn't want too, he is always in a bad mood and doesn't do anything but stare at the computer .He gives off the worst negative vibe and looks at you like your dumb even when I proved I was right and gets mad when you return because the problem is still happening after being fixed 3 times, I'm a customer not a employee so he gets upset at the wrong one. The only words I've ever heard from him is "no, I'm done and whatever" Then when I told him my problem he saids oh it sounds like this and he was wrong it was what I said in the first place (recall). It's sad when the other employees apologize for his behavior instead of him. He never learn the rules of leave your problems outside of work, and if that's not the problem and he can't handle being a manager then he got the wrong job. I'm sure you probably reading this Anthony since your always on the computer, just sharing the same energy you give.....the other employees are good and the GM is awesome. If the service manager wasn't there then I would say the place does have good customer service at least but because of him and not being able to get what I needed done and the fact that he came at me instead of apologizing like everyone else and with him being the "service manager" made my experience horrible even when others were willing to help but of course it's what he saids which isn't anything and didn't go anywhere. I recommend anyone trying to buy a Ford to do research first because if I would of known and searched I would of never got a ford focus. Google will explain it all. And if it's to late I recommend getting it fixed elsewhere

Will is extremely knowledgeable with all functions and capabilities of all vehicles in the Ford lineup , especially proficient with the F-150. Will addressed all my needs and was able to stay within the budget I provided. After selecting my new F-150 Stevens Ford and the finance department , like a well oiled machine set me up for my first service appointment , completed all the necessary documentation and I was on the road enjoying my new F150. I purchased a used Toyota - I was looking for a standard shift and my search landed me at Stevens. I have been driving a stick for about 10 years and was looking forward to having my "new stick" after a couple of SUVs with auto trans. I had a good experience working with Bill, their used vehicle salesman, and drove away. Four days later, when I was back at home in NY, the clutch went. Speaking with the general manager, I was assured that the dealership would stand by their sale and they were true to their word. After the repair, I received reimbursement for the full cost. It's easy to be cynical about car dealerships, however, I must say I was very impressed by their level of service and commitment to their sales. I would highly recommend this dealership.

It's 2018. I made good on my promise from my 2013 review. When it came time for me to buy a brand new car in 2016, I made sure that it was NOT from Stevens Ford! Ha! Think about that next time you want to stiff customers on tiny refunds! Customer service goes a long way, and believe it or not, some customers actually remember the treatment....

Another thing I forgot to mention from my 2013 review -- after I was refused a refund for the VIN inspection form, a few of the shop guys came outside and started teasing(?)/hollering at me after I got back into my car, yelling "New Mexico, he's from New Mexico!"

I guess they were making fun of the fact that I was from New Mexico?? (I had New Mexico plates on, I had just moved to Connecticut). I don't know what they were doing, it was strange. So they refused a refund and then started making fun of me? That was my warm "welcome" to Connecticut. If you're gonna make fun of me, at least wait until I've completely left the parking lot! lol

Got a VIN inspection for my car from Stevens Ford and it was hand written on a "Dealer Certification of VIN" form. CT DMV doesn't want to accept hand written VIN forms, they want it typed.

After finding out that the DMV would not accept the form that Stevens Ford gave me, I took the form back to Stevens to see about getting an acceptable form or a refund. I was bluntly told "No, that is the form we use" and I was refused, several times, a refund of what I paid for the VIN inspection. They were not willing to work with me at all.

I will certainly not be returning to Stevens Ford again for any service, whether it be repair, buying a car, or anything DMV related, and I would recommend anyone else needing an emissions or VIN inspection go elsewhere. A dealer who won't work with you on a simple VIN inspection will not work with you on anything else.

Hector was fantastic to work with, respectful the whole time, never pressuring and always eager to help answer any questions or schedule another test drive. Buying a new car from Stevens Ford Lincoln is a pleasant experience. We live 7 miles from another Lincoln Dealership, but prefer to drive the extra 18 miles to Stevens.

Stevens is truly a no hassle dealership. Pricing the deal was handled very fast, and is a WIN WIN transaction for both Stevens and us. We agreed to pick up our new Lincoln Nautilus the next day.

After agreeing on the price, and a next day delivery date, we came home. And then, Joseph, our Sales Agent from Stevens, called to let us know they lowered the amount due! While checking the details, Stevens found a rebate that we were allowed, that had been missed.

We were really astonished. In today s times, a gesture like that is highly unlikely, in any business transaction!

On the delivery day, the financial paperwork was handled professionally, everything explained thoroughly, and in a timely manner...Thanks Josh!

Joseph went through the Nautilus settings completely, and answered all questions we asked of him. He is a thorough, and friendly Sales Agent...a true asset to Stevens. Thank you too, Joseph!

Peter Bloom, Stevens General Manager, was also deeply involved in out transaction. And, we were introduced to the Service and Parts Departments. Our experience, goes to show Stevens dedication to their Clients. Our THANKS to the Stevens Total Team .

I had my oil changed on my F150 in Dec 2017 (approx) because it was too cold to do it myself. First time in 14yrs I had someone else touch it. Seemed ok at first. In Feb i noticed oil drops on the driveway. I snuck a peek one cold night and it wasnt the oil - the power steering lines developed a rot and leaked - BUT my original oil filter was never changed out when they serviced it! I immediately called and they did ask me to come down and they would take care of it. A second fellow asked "how i knew they had not changed it out" - I MARK the filter with a mileage and date reminder. I cant believe he challenged me on this. So for near 20 min they couldnt even get it up on the lift and struggled with adapters. They finally moved it to another bay to get it up. Then before they took it down, I joked about them putting the right amount in. They said 6qts. WRONG. Its 7!! "But thats what the computer says" they told me. Your computer is wrong. And the only reason why i joked about it was because the previous customer said he was shorted TWO qts on his 2012 Mustang GT. And you gave him the same line "thats what the computer says". A quick search on the internet on my phone proved the man was right. Guys --- its a real shame that the Ford dealership has such shoddy and inexperienced guys servicing people's Ford vehicles. This is why american cars and dealerships get bad-mouthed. The boys were ok and nice enough (except the part where he asked me to defend why i thought they never changed out the filter). But they dont know their Ford data. And the computer system they have apparently is awful. I dont think i will be back. Maybe better off at the Valvoline shop up the street. Sad to post this.

Consistently the worst service. Though, they believe, they have overhauled their service department, it may be worst than before. Asked several times before picking up vehicle to have a qualified individual available to go over repairs (flexible time to do this) was told several times that service staff was qualified. Unfortunately, I believed them had a service rep show me the repairs he pointed to the truck and read service invoice (that was it). Took the vehicle for a ride in their parking lot to go over repairs, service rep did not ride along. Completed the ride asked several questions regarding repair and made several comments on the lack of performance of the vehicle and the supposed break repair. Again was re-assured the that the break issue had been resolved. Left Stevens brought vehicle immediately to another garage to discover break issue was not corrected. Would normally not haven an issue with returning vehicle to a garage to have it resolved but since this is not the first time nor, 3rd, or 6th time service was not either completed correctly and wait another week to two weeks for one repair that would actually never be done waste of time and money at Stevens even with the new overhaul of the service department.
