IHG club member, stayed for 5 nights with family of four . Had to call 5 times once to get towels. Had to have engineering 2 times for clogged toilet. Only 3 elevators ( and one failed during stay) in 32 story building and housekeeping/ staff use same elevators so if full you d think they d get off no! Housekeeping carts left in halls all day.
Took 30 minutes to get down elevator on check out day. Called front desk basically told to bad just wait. Didn t seem to matter I had booked their limo and was on way to airport for flight.
Mini kitchen was nice to have. Bathroom tiny. Forget if you need or want a tub, shower only. Only one hook to hang a towel, what do you do with 4 bath towels 4 hand towels 4 washcloths? One tiny closet and 2 drawers of storage for 4 people? Wi-Fi signal was good enough for my Roku thank god saves the kids for bedtime.
I realize it s NYC but really! Overall, I m very disappointed in IHG for this property I d expect this performance from a noname motel. The facility is too small for the number of guests they squeeze in not enough lobby space, not enough elevators, dining area to small so you are sent to basement and bar and none of them have adequate air conditioning.

Great rooms with kitchen equipped for every need. Strategic location a stone's throw from the Metro and Times Square. Not very good for cleaning, buffet breakfast and air conditioner in the room (positioned between the window and the bed, either on or off by entering cold drafts).

Great hotel and great location. Close enough to times Square to walk there quickly and be there in minutes, but far enough away that's it fairly quiet near the hotel. Staff was all incredibly friendly and polite. Rooms had a small kitchen and the bed was very comfy. Definitely would stay here again.

We had a good stay. The staff was nice and courteous. My only complaint was that the front plate of the air conditioning unit came off and no one came to fix it, so I attached the picture. The breakfast was great. Overall the experience was fine.

Location good but the conservation of the hotel leaves something to be desired. Bathroom clogged and took 2 days to solve the problem! What pays for this hotel and the breakfast, this is very good with lots of frustrations!

I almost never write negative reviews, but felt so personally swindled by this hotel that I felt the need to warn others. I made a reservation through a discount site at this hotel but had to cancel (with more than 24 hours notice). They proceeded to charge me the for the entire amount of my stay - not a cancellation fee - the ENTIRE amount. Taxes and all. No offer of a voucher or chance to reschedule. I was shocked and felt completely helpless - their attitude was essentially "We're taking your money and there's nothing you can do about it." Awful experience.

Good service, comfy beds and pillows, and live music at the entrance hall!
I was disappointed with the breakfast space. They have 3 locations to sit and have breakfast, but they reserved one for special guests and we had nowhere to sit going from one room to another with the trays having nowhere to sit.

Our room was spectacular, especially since it was equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, including a dishwasher! Our room was spotless and we even had our choice of pillows! Best of all, excellent customer service and friendly, helpful staff! Conveniently located across the street from the bus depot. I will definitely stay at Staybridge in the future.

The service was extremely bad, the lady at the front desk had an attitude, they was discriminating us, and we also discovered bed bugs in the pillows and bed. It was a bad experience. I don t recommend this place to anyone. Everyone working there was rude.

Overall stay was good. Rooms were not as advertised and much smaller. Mattress had blood on it and the shower had mold. Our toilet barely worked kept getting stopped up, we had to go purchase our own plunger. Only thing decent about it was More

I'll start off with the positives first. This hotel has, and it's hard for me to even say, the BEST coffee I've ever had in a hotel room. I'm not sure what brand or who the roaster is, but it is fantastic. I recommend brewing it on the bolder side personally. Secondly, the space is updated and comfortable, the suite was well stocked and the bed was quite comfortable. I was here for work, not pleasure, so, unfortunately, I don't have much to say about the location as I didn't get the opportunity to enjoy it much but if you're a tourist, it is in a great location. The gym here is also decently stocked with a cable machine, dumbells, variety of cardio and yoga mats. The space is small but it was never crowded. Lastly, they serve breakfast in two locations which definitely helps with overcrowding, even if the breakfast isn't anything to get overly excited about.

Now onto the negatives. The elevators are a little slow in the morning and get crowded fast. Not sure this is even something the hotel could possibly manage, its just a statement. The service is ok. When I checked in, the front desk clerk was lovely but the kindness really stopped there. As I previously mentioned, the elevators are slow and can get crowded, it doesn't help when the hotel staff and their cleaning supplies want to push everyone into the corner to make room for themselves. I understand they have a job to do but it still was quite irritating. The staff at breakfast were the worst. While having two locations does help with the overcrowding, the tables still filled up quickly. I finished up my breakfast and a lovely couple asked if they could have my table. So instead of leaving my dishes on the table, I stacked them and wiped the table and walked over to a staff member to ask them where they would like me to place them. She looked at me and said, "you should have left them on the table" and then shrugged her shoulders and turned away. I told her how another couple wanted me table and I didn't want to be rude and leave them and asked her again, where i could place them. She rudely said, "I don't care, it's your problem". So I turned around and placed them in the first open spot i saw in the lobby and walked to the elevators. I guess it's not my problem either.

All in all, the hotel is a good hotel. Outside of the general hotel staff, I have had a good experience and do enjoy the ammenities and proximity to good food.

I started planning our NY trip a year in advance and had been looking at hotels and rentals by owners off and on during that time. I was looking for a hotel that wasn't going to break the bank but where we would feel comfortable and be able to have a nice break from the city when we needed it. I finally decided on the Staybridge Suites because I couldn't find a better price for the type of hotel we wanted and the price included breakfast every day. We were over the top happy with our choice! The hotel was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, everyone we met there (staff and other guests) were friendly and helpful and it was the perfect location for us: right off of Times Square and in the middle of Manhattan. We were also able to pack lightly and utilized the free laundry room one morning to do a load of laundry while we enjoyed our free breakfast. I rarely write reviews for anything but our trip was flawless and having a great hotel to go back to at the end of the day was the icing and the cherry on top. Thank you Staybridge for helping me make my son's graduation present the ultimate!

Nice hotel in the middle of Manhattan. Rooms are very spacious, bathroom tidy with all lotions and soap available, clean towels every day, spacious good beds with fine linen, a safe, and a small comfortable kitchen with fridge, microwave, freezer and even dishwasher

Good hotel, enough breakfast. On the weekdays they have an afternoon snack, which is good. The Hotel is well located, close to the subway, of several lines. Close to the new Vessel attraction. But I believe they got a little worse, maybe it needs a renovation, but it is worth the stay.

The hotel is perfect, my only suggestion as a Brazilian would be a breakfast with more options, if possible!
It is not a complaint because I know it is one of the few hotels that have breakfast!

Stayed here for 4 days from Toronto. Great central location, nice breakfast is included. 3 choices of eggs, turkey bacon as an option one of the days, and large selection of fruit. Would stay here again!
Thanks NY for the memories.

Nice hotel, we have stayed here 5 times before this trip. Breakfast is great value for money BUT.........hotel management if you are reading this why do you have domestic toasters that take an absolute age to toast anything, buy commercial toasters they are reliable and far more efficient than what you have. Why do you only have one toaster in the Parlour, why not have two toasters and reposition the toasters so they are not in the corner. Lastly the one and only toaster in the Parlour has been broken for the full eight days of our stay meaning that you have to hold the button in the down position the whole time. Not great. That said the hotel is in a great location and rooms are a decent size and fitted out well.

Hotel near metro, Times Square, great! The breakfast is plentiful and varied. The bedding is excellent. The kitchen makes it possible not to eat at the restaurant every evening, there is a supermarket nearby.

DO NOT stay at this hotel! It is filthy, old, and half of the things in your room will be broken. This was the most unprofessional staff I have ever seen. The lady with short, strAight hair at the front desk is very rude. If you are here, wait to speak to the man working at the desk. She was completing her w2 form while I was trying to check in, cursing right in front of us. The bathrooms are filthy. Do yourself a favor and save the hassle and stress this hotel will give you.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. The included breakfast was one of the best I've had at an IHG hotel. The only reason I gave this hotel 4 stars, was because I was told this corner room was one of the larger ones, and it was still smaller than what I was used to for a suite.

Staff was excellent, but there are just too many things wrong with this hotel.

Elevators
broke down constantly. Would get stuck on floors at least once a day ( I was only there for the morning to leave and at night to go to bed, who knows how often it really broke down) most of the time I was there, only 1 out of 3 elevators were operational. Wait time to go up or down was at least 10+ minutes and we sometimes had to take the stairs (23 flights) to get into our room with 2 kids (0 and 6)

Breakfast
It s free, not really that good. Some items were not labeled so really had no idea what I was looking at. Had some white cream next to the cheese with no label. Was it sour cream or was it yogurt? Had to give it the old sniff test to figure out what it was. ( it was yogurt)

Bathrooms
They are very small and the door between the bathroom and room is frosted. So if people are sleeping, you will be sure to wake them up as the bathroom light floods the room. We ended up just using the flashlight on our phone as the only light allowed on in the bathroom so we wouldn t wake the kids up. Also, since the bathroom is frosted and the toilet is front and center, you get to watch fuzzy shadow of someone in the bathroom take a dump if the lights are on.

The hotel is located in the very center of NYC, right on Time Square. A few minutes from Medison Squere Garden. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The summer of splendor is probably behind us. A plus for some travelers may be a kitchenette, fridge, dishwasher and other household appliances. The room I was in was a little dark, but all around tall buildings. I had a problem with the toilet several times, but after reporting it was fixed. Minus also for the shower curtain, which makes the bathroom after the bath is all wet. On the plus side, very friendly service.

Nice hotel situated near the heart of times square. Very easy to get everywhere. The hotel itself isn't overwhelming so do not go expecting that, but for what you pay for its good. The staff are all lovely and the breakfast and snack options are decent. There is also a gym in the basement, but the machinery is limited.

The location is perfect, the room was comfortable and we'll kept, all the staff there we're very helpful. Parking was 3 blocks away and cost me $90 for 2 days but the affordable rates made that a non issue. I will be staying there again.

Recently stayed here and will never go back. Ever. I advise people to lock their personal valuables up and don't set anything down because you won't get it back and the staff will not help you find it. They will play it off and act "concerned" security will not go back and check their footage. The only thing they will do is tell you lies on how concerned they are and that they will help you find your belongings. All b.s. To get you to be quiet. Be careful folks and don't trust anything that moves in that hotel, including the staff! They're in on it and cover one another. Absolutely terrible disservice they did to themselves and lost a customer forever.

The room very clean with a very good small kitchen. But the best in this hotel is not your infrastructure, the best it's your employees team. Throughout my stay (8 days), all kinds of needs that I or my family had, they did their best to help. I my next travel to NY certainly i will choose this hotel. I recommend Ms Cristal, Mrs Alex and Brad and in special Ms Jessica..

Great looking hotel, amenities and pricing are 2nd to none. It is home away from home and staff that a geared up to make your stay exciting. The breakfast alone is wonderful. Ask for Jacqueline during breakfast time. She is a woman wonderful, and caring individual that loves what she does. Her energy is contagious.

Just perfect.

Just perfect.
This hotel is in an excellent location just minutes from the subways.
2 steps from Timesquares.
Quiet hotel despite the location.
The staff are just lovely not knowing what to do to please us. You just have to ask and it all happens, a smile as a bonus.
Room made thoroughly every day. Sheets changed too.
Breakfast included. And very important when traveling with the family, washing and drying of laundry free. Just $ 1 of laundry. It s so practical and economical!
Small kitchen area in the bedroom, very practical and economical.
3 times a week there is a kind of small meal offered between 5 and 7 p.m. with drinks.
In short, top hotel. No complaints.
Everything is perfect and the staff
Is more than charming.
Well done!!
