Let me start by saying - if I could rate Simone & Son 10 stars, I would. Sometimes jewelry stores can be overwhelming with pushy staff and a more aggressive & cold sales atmosphere which I don't care for - but not at Simone and Son. From the moment I walked in I felt totally comfortable and welcomed. They were a bit busy when I got there, but a lovely woman named Sara assured me that someone would be with me ASAP. I browsed around and I couldn't believe how amazing their jewelry is. Each unique piece is better than the last! The store in itself is beautiful & very clean, the ambiance is so warm and inviting, and they also happen to play great music which I really enjoyed during my visit. I also really love that this is a family owned and operated business. Everyone was so friendly and happy to help/discuss exactly what I was looking for, I felt like I was with my friends and family! The time and effort put into each customer/client certainly did not go unnoticed! Now let's talk jewelry - each of their custom pieces that I saw are gorgeous and top notch. Their attention to detail in delivering exactly what you want is unparalleled. The quality of their work speaks for itself and I could not recommend this store enough! I will only be going to them for jewelry from now on, I even told my boyfriend that this is where he needs to go for my engagement ring. I stopped in to Simone and Son about a year ago after doing some research online about engagement rings. I am so glad I did. Other than the research I did online about diamonds I knew nothing about jewelry because I don't wear any and had not bought jewelry for anyone.
Shant (the son in Simone and Son) helped me. He made it very easy to pick out a ring and my then girlfriend later fiance, then wife loved it. I was able to pick one off the shelf. They had a lot of great options. They can also make anything you want. One nice thing too is they only sell quality diamonds. They have high standards for cut, color, clarity, etc. so only the best make it to their showroom.
You feel like you are family when working with Shant and his team. We went back there to get our wedding bands and my wife had some custom earrings made. Everything turned out great. I had a little trouble sizing my ring (again because I've never worn jewelry) and they were so quick to take care of it.
Of all the retail places (not just jewelry, but any kind of customer service business) this is by far the best place I can remember. Their customer service is at the top of the upper echelon. I highly recommend this place. They also just remodeled their store and it looks great!
Everyone at Simone and Sons is very patient. Jasmine is designing a wedding ring for me that will be very unique and wonderful. I am waiting to see the computer image before we make the ring. Jasmine is amazing and her patience in designing is never ending. I also purchased a one of a kind ring and because I am out of state they shipped it overnight. They're follow up is second to none. I knew when I first began working with Angela, and then Shant, in the store that I would be delighted with my new ring. I brought 5 of my half-carat "family" diamonds to create a half eternity band. I was probably inordinately particular as to the the style, prong position and thickness, diamond height--but everyone involved was all very patient and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. I am ECSTATIC with the ring, so happy that I have now ordered a custom diamond "halo" ring setting for my former solitaire-mounted diamond. I can't wait for this. Wow, what more can I say--they're the best, and "just like family."

My recent experience with Simone & Son couldn't have been any better. I worked directly with Sara and she was a true professional all the way from beginning to end. She kept me updated throughout the entire process, and coordinated everything. I ordered a custom made sapphire and diamond ring which turned out absolutely beautiful. Corinne designed the ring, and made a couple recommendations that improved the ring from my original design significantly. My wife is very happy with the end result. Jewelry shopping can be very nerve racking as you never know who you can trust, but I have complete trust in Simone & Son. Sara was very trustworthy and sent me updates and pictures throughout the process so I knew exactly how it was progressing and what the timing was going to be. Sara even made sure that I had the ring in time for Christmas. I will continue to use Simone & Son to make all my jewelry purchases as they have my complete trust and Sara is a pleasure to work with.
My girlfriend and I came to Simone & Sons to design her engagement ring on a recommendation from one of her coworkers. Shant did a great job of nailing down the style of my engagement ring and helping me choose the stone. The computer animated design software they use really helps to visualize the look of the ring and they were even able to throw in some custom one off work for furthur personalization. I can t say enough good things! I made the mistake of forcing my wedding ring on a few months after having my daughter. It got stuck and my finger started to swell. The owner tried everything to get it off and with no luck ended up cutting it off for me. This was done at no cost to me and no real damage done to the ring. He was very careful and walked me through the process. I really appreciated their kindness and help in this very unfortunate situation. Would definitely recommend!
I purchased my wedding band from Simone & Son and I absolutely love it! Recently I noticed what appeared to be a loose diamond, so I reached out via their text option and they responded immediately. I was able to ship my ring out next business day and they replaced the missing diamond (it fell out before I could ship it) and made my ring look completely brand new again! I was shocked how amazing my ring looked; it looked like it did on the day of our wedding! They kept me up-to-date throughout the entire process, which was completed very quickly, and I paid nothing but shipping! I ve had nothing but great experiences with Simone & Son!
I got recommended to this place by a friend ,the staff wasn't friendly, I felt like they were too busy to help me ,very poor customer service ,I usually get much better service at Affinity jewelers and Facet .I feel like they were too judgmental and I would never shop there .

Not friendly & wont size anything that isn t made by them. Super critical of any jewelry you bring in even if made by far superior jeweler such as Cartier. Tacky, outdated styles only old ladies would wear.
Shant helped design my wife's engagement ring several years ago. I was young, working a part time job, school full time, and had no clue about designing jewelry. He always made me feel like a valued customer and has remembered me by name every time I've walked in their shop even if it's been a year or two since he last saw me. You won't find more beautiful jewelry or people in the industry.
I sent my husband into Simone & Son with my engagement ring and wedding band (previously done by Simone & Son), to get it cleaned. Shant noticed the setting needed an upgrade to ensure all of the diamonds were secured and replaced it for us within our warranty ! Long story short: Genuine, honest, legit, GIA certified, no sleazy sales people who work on commission, no rushing, very knowledgeable, patient with your indecisiveness, no pressure.
Long version: I did some basic research on rings so I wouldn't be completely clueless..FIRST we went to a BIG NAME engagement store. The lady seemed nice, I asked to see other rings but she said we were limited as we had a budget. I didn't LOVE the rings she chose. I wish I had more options. It just seemed as if....ok "that was it, this was the one I was going to buy."
It didn't feel right, as nice as the lady was &seemed to care. I put it on hold.I hated how the website just had so many options, but she just chose the one that was put together and didn't even care. I forgot to ask her THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION.But I had her number and asked her if the diamond was GIA certified (independent rating, highest standard, not for profit i believe). She said, "why would we want that if you have a lifetime warranty here? And our name backs it up, so you have nothing to worry about". THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW. GIA means that the diamond's awesomeness (or not) matches what the store is actually claiming it to be. The next day I asked for our hold deposit back. They tried to reset an appt and said that I could build my ring.Yeah.they SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!! I want to thank her though, because w/o her being sleazy, I would not have found these guys!
So about Simone and Son, I was scared as they were not a big name. In general, alot of the reviews about mom and pop shops seemed to say they do whatever they wanted, lie, mark up the price, changed the stone, etc..Hubby wanted to get me an upgrade for our 10yr.. I saw the recommendations to several stores on a mom group on fb. I checked for all of them on yelp and google. Although some places got MOSTLY GOOD reviews, the bad reviews had to do with iffy things that were done. BUT Simone and Son didn't have one legit negative review.
I called them to see if they had GIA certified diamonds and yes, that's all they deal with. So I went to visit and didn't really set an appointment as we didn't want to feel pressured. We went on a random afternoon with NO expectations of being impressed, just nervous, but hopeful. We got to sit down with Ms. Angela, who was super nice! I told her what I wanted and showed her ALOT of pictures. She told me that they CUSTOM MAKE pretty much anything, and everything there IS CUSTOM MADE. I saw so many really beautiful, one of a kind pieces. To be honest, I did get overwhelmed, but she said you're not going to buy anything today. This will be a long process of trying on stuff, seeing what you like, seeing if you like somethings from different rings and put them together for a custom built one.
I literally had my doubts and wanted them to just get annoyed and rush me or just turn sleeze-bally or fake/not genuine just like all the other places. They were not fazed by my indecisiveness or by my being overwhelmed. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision, or to pick something. They were not disappointed that I was walking out of the door without anything---heck, I could have just been wasting their time. Ms. Angela spent alot of time explaining and educating me about the process, and the different options I had.
I tried on alot of rings,liked a few features from about 3 rings,so I combined them all together. I also had the height modified after seeing and trying on the mold/model.Got it a few weeks later. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! What I wanted plus more. And we got a good deal with our budget! I cannot say enough about this place. Grateful that I found them. They are so genuine and care about everyone that comes in. Thank you
Additional info: the upright mirror on the table will help you see how it looks from afar if you hold the ring up to your face/cheek. There is a LIVE VIDEO of the Jewelry being worked on in the back and you can see it up close! Also, as long as you take it to them, you get your ring repaired, cleaned, shined, tightened, etc.
I had the pleasure of working with Shant and Angela for my now wife's engagement ring and wedding band. While searching for my wife's engagement ring I visited several jewelry stores, with no luck. I stumbled on Simone & Son, they were very informative throughout the whole process of custom making the engagement ring and always keeping me updated with the process of the ring. The ring came out beautiful and my wife loved her new ring. Fast forward a year later we had relocated to Texas from Huntington Beach and the search was on to find her wedding band. We again visited several local and big box jewelry stores however the kind and quality was much lower than her engagement ring. That's when I sent an email to Angela and she was able to make a band that matched exactly to the engagement ring. After the ring was completed, she was able to ship the ring over night.
All in all, I would highly recommend the incredible team at Simone & Son! Wheather you are a local or live thousands of miles a way, they will take care of you!

I cannot express how well Corinne and Shant took care of me. They worked with me to design the perfect custom engagement ring for my fiancee and they hit the bullseye. The ring is perfect in every way possible as Corinne and Shant made sure that the ring I was getting not only met my expectations but exceeded them, and they did. Oh yeah, did I mention that I live in Texas? Even though I live over 1000 miles away the level of customer service I received from them was absolutely extraordinary. Better than if I would've went to a local jeweler I am sure! And their prices are very reasonable too. I was literally stunned (in a good way) at the quality of the ring I received. I must RAVE about Simone & Son! We first purchased our gorgous diamond engagement ring in 2013, and then went back to create a custom, unique, one of a kind, spectacular diamond wedding band together that would truly compliment my engagement ring. I worked with Shant via CAD design remotely from across the country, me in North Carolina, him in CA!... The process was so amazing and I LOVE bragging that I designed my band when I'm complimented on it! Shant and Sara have been amazing to deal with. I'm leaving this review after having my rings services as I just recently noticed one of my tiny diamonds in one of the Halo's had a chip in it. And really after 6 years, I also felt it was time to re rhodium dip the rings. Shant and Sara made it so easy and fast to have them Fed Ex'd to them and back, and they turned them around so incredibly fast! I sent off on Monday, and back by Friday!! We also decided to have them soldered together as there had been some wear on them. This will secure them giving me many more years to enjoy! Truly cannot recommend Simon & Son more! No matter where you are in the country, they'll take excellent care of you! Thank you again Shant and Sara! I am THRILLED with how Gorgeous my rings look again! I was very happy with my experience at Simone & Son. The staff is great and really helpful. They helped me with finding a setting and a diamond and presented me different options with no pressure to buy outside of my budget. The ring itself looked fantastic and I was very happy with the end result. I also really enjoyed the process of being able to see a 3D printed version of the ring just to double check things and get an idea of how the diamond would look with it. Overall I'm very satisfied with everything and glad I chose Simone & Son and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I took my wedding ring in to be resized. The very nice young lady told me it would take about a week, but I received a call two days later that it was ready. The ring not only is resized but was shined up and looks brand new. When I went to pick it up, the owner's son, who helped me this time, offered to shine my engagement ring too. Everyone here is very friendly and helpful and they do a good job. I would recommend this business for all your jewelry needs.
I recently brought my wife's wedding ring to Simone and Sons for repair. I was not sure what to expect, and felt a bit uneasy with leaving the ring for any period of time.
I spoke with Shant and he looked at the ring. He took the ring to his onsite jeweler and had it fixed while I waited. It was a minor repair and he had it fixed cleaned and back to me in moments. He took my ring from me and cleaned it as well.
Since it was a minor, repair he chose not to charge me for his services, which was certainly unusual in this day and age! I would have gladly paid him for his services and quality work.
Being a business man myself, I understand how the little things make a difference, although this was not a small thing to me! I will forever return to Simon and Sons for my jewelry needs because of how I was treated in this situation!

I saw your ESSENTIAL AF necklace and instantly wantedo one. I dont work at a hospital or answer calls to tragedies but I make coffee and have found that I AM -ESSENTIAL! We started our search for the perfect jeweler a couple of years ago. We went to every chain jewelry store, all the ones you see in the mall, the typical chain jewelry store you see all over. And nothing felt right. Every single place we went was way too sales-y and even though we would say we just want information and some education, once the chains would find out we weren t buying that day they would just dismiss us. That was until we found Simone & Son. The team made us feel like family since the first time we walked in the store. And they never once pushed us or pressured us in any way to feel like we had to buy that day. Even when they knew we wouldn t be buying that day, someone from their team would sit with us (even once for a couple of hours!) and let us look at the diamonds and the settings. Explaining each different aspect of the rings. We were always offered water and coffee at each visit, and everyone always made an effort to say hi. And at the end of each visit, Shant always told us to come back when we were ready.
When we were finally ready to purchase a ring, Shant spent so much time with us. And not just talking business, he talked about his wife and family, and even common friends we have. He shared stories, made us laugh, and always made us feel like we were part of the family!

My fiance and I wanted to have a look at some diamonds and rings for our engagement. We went into it not knowing what to expect. Luckily for us the team at Simone & Son were all very nice and walked us through the whole process. From diamond selection to custom ring design.
Shant, the son in Simone & Son, was exceptionally helpful in educating us and making sure we were taken care of. My fiance was extremely interested in one of the diamonds, the first one in fact, and Shant gave us all of the information about it. From the grading to the price, he was very transparent with it all. Not only that, he offered it to us for a price where we just could not say No.
After deciding on the diamond, Shant personally helped us design the ring based on my Fiance's desires. He created a 3D render in front of us, then a week or two later we had a 3D printed mold to look at and review, and once that was done they custom made our ring at the store! The final product was everything we imagined it to be and we absolutely loved it! More importantly, my Fiance was very happy with it.

Simone & Son were AMAZING. We used them for my engagement ring and were so impressed that we had a custom wedding band made to match the ER. My engagement ring was my husband's great grandmothers and is ~100 years old. After carefully inspecting it, they were honest about the condition of the ring and all of the risks involved in resizing a ring that fragile. There was a lot of intricate bridge work that they had to repair during the resizing process. It is now absolutely perfect and I could not be happier with the work. We also decided to have a custom wedding band made to match the engagement ring and we worked with Simone & Son to design and create a band that matched the ER perfectly. They even sent it out for hand engraving to match the exact design of my ER. Honestly, I've never been happier with a jeweler. The customer service is extraordinary, and the quality is unparalleled. My family has been going to Simone and Son in Huntington Beach for years. Mostly for repairs on high end jewelery, but as of late my sister and two cousins chose their engagement rings here. So I followed my family trusted place and came here as well. Jasmine presented a few style options that were popular and not so popular. It gave us a good idea of which way to go. The cool part was the CAD program they had once we had an idea of the route we were going to go, Shant brought our ideas to life in real time using his CAD program. If you have time this really puts in perspective what your personalized design will look like and you can tweek it right then and there. Everyone was friendly and kind, it was worth the money for 1 of 2 reasons. The integrity of their work and the time and care they put into my fiance and I. No push, no harassment just good service with honesty. Sometimes its worth to go to a quality place rather go to a cheaper big box retailer to know things are done right. This was one of those cases!

I am blown away and can't say enough good things about Simone & Son! I was looking for a unique wedding band for my traditional engagement ring. I had been looking everywhere for the perfect crisscross ring, both at jewelry stores and online, but I couldn't find one that was exactly what I wanted until I came across a picture of the Simone & Son crisscross ring online. I absolutely fell in love with it and decided to take a chance and give them a call to ask about pricing/see what my options would be since they were located across the country. I was blown away by their customer service from the second they answered the phone!! The owner, Shant, picked up the phone on my first call (even though they were technically closed that day) and walked me through the process. The price was very reasonable and within my price range. In order to help me get an idea of what the crisscross ring would look like next to mine, he had me send him a few photos of my engagement ring. Within a couple days, one of their employees (Sarah) was emailing and texting me multiple images and videos of the crisscross ring matched with a ring that looked just like mine! It was extremely personal and when I asked for more photos at different angles they were more than happy to help! I knew I wanted the ring, but I still wanted to see it on my finger prior to making a purchase, so I proposed a deal; I offered to buy the ring, and if I did not like it, I would return it within 30 days for a full refund. Simone & Son gladly accepted my offer and I had the ring on my finger within two days!!! Of course I ended up loving the ring just as much in person so no refund needed. I sent the ring back to them and they had it made in my size within a couple of weeks (I also didn't have to pay for any of the shipping). I absolutely LOVE my ring!! It is so unique and is exactly what I wanted. Everyone I worked with at Simone & Son was so personable, welcoming, and accommodating.
