I purchased a vehicle from here and Stephanie Athans was my salesperson. She was very great to work with, she did not give me a hard time making my purchase. She has followed through to see if I'm happy with my purchase and so far I am. Although my only complaint was there should be more managers staffed to help get the salesperson and customer come to an agreement quickly.

UPDATE: After posting my review below, I received an answer to contact a woman named Lindsay Latsko. I have left her one voicemail message and sent several emails, but four weeks later I still haven t been offered any assistance or resolution to my complaint. I m lowering my review to 1 star! Ziegler got payed for the car I bought and since there was no follow up with me I guess they don t care about customers who buy those lower prized used vehicles.

I came in for a used car I had seen online. The listed price online was different than what I was quoted when I got into the dealer. There was an added fee for cleaning and detailing - are you kidding me! What serious dealer does that? I should add that the car wasn't that clean. The dashboard on the car was all dusty. In other words - Ziegler was going to charge me a fee for something they hadn t done! I have never encountered that detailing/prep fee before when buying a car from a dealer. However, in my negotiations I got that fee scrapped plus more off the price. I bought the car I wanted and it has been good so far (3 months). I payed one part with credit card and (since they only accept up to a certain amount on card) the rest with a personal check. I was told by the sales rep Abraham "Avi" Levine that they had to do a credit check to make sure the check had coverage. I asked whether it was a soft or a hard check (the hard ones affects your credit score negatively and I didn't want that). He said it was a soft check and all was good. A month later when I was checking my credit score I saw that Zeigler had done a hard credit check - just what I didn't want. Buyer be aware!

I went in to buy the specific car you see in the photo from the web page. The guy said that car is on the other lot he couldn't be bothered to go get it. Then he laughed at me when I thought I could buy it for the advertised price on the web page. He said he would let me drive a different car. Total bait and switch. He held on to my car key like psychology would make me buy the car anyway. Then as Im leaving he says his boss will let him take 2k off the price. Im like what price? I couldn't get a straight answer from the guy about anything let alone the price of the vehicle. I will be going to Marino this weekend maybe they will treat me better.

We got the best price for the vehicle we wanted to purchase at Zeigler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Schaumburg Dealership and most importantly we got to meet a very special salesman: Mr. Eric Foret. The vehicle we purchased had all that we wanted and was purchased at a great price after all the rebates Eric helped us qualify for. Yes he helped us save thousands of dollars!. We are very happy with our new vehicle, however to our surprise the greatest experience besides the purchase of the vehicle itself was the fact that God gave us the exceptional opportunity to have meet Mr. Eric Foret. Meeting him and spending an afternoon with him at Zeigler Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Schaumburg was beyond pleasant, it was priceless!!! and is definitely one of those rare moments in life in which God smiles showing off the true human treasures He has among us. I purchased my 2013 Jeep Compass at Zeigler in Schaumburg and I couldn't be happier about the experience. I went in to buy another slightly used vehicle. After talking with the salesperson he recommended I take a look at the Compass. I didn't feel like I was forced into it he just mentioned that it was similar to the car I wanted, it was new and he could give me an incentive package for it that would make it a good option for me. After looking at everything I decided to go for it. I brought in my own financing however the dealership was able to find me a better deal. I felt very well taken care of and am beyond thrilled with my car. I have taken my car there to be serviced, even though it quite out of my way because of their excellent service. I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a car to go to Zeigler

My spouse and I went in to buy a new Chrysler Pacifica. We love the car! The experience with Theo was great. He was knowledgeable on the car and was patient. At the same time though we were there FOREVER and the process was way too long. It was frustrating to try and hear people talk because of the bells and sirens going off every five seconds.

The largest disappointment though was with the finance department. The person was trying to sell extended warranties and gap coverage. We wouldn t agree to any of it so he was talking down to us the whole time after that. He offered us the gap coverage for $2/month so we decided to take it. Then when we were reviewing the contract at home, we noticed he charged us $375 more than what he offered for the gap coverage. We found out that he noticed that our taxes were incorrect which would ve lowered our monthly payment and never told us about it. When we went back in to ask him why he failed to tell us about the tax change his excuse was perception of value which is totally unacceptable (because he just wanted to sell the gap coverage). We just felt totally scammed and lied to. Luckily we were able to cancel the coverage and could get our money back.

We really wanted to give the five stars but can t because of this. Unfortunately we won t be back.

When I was looking to upgrade my car, I found myself going back to Jeep because I loved my first one so much. When I went into Zeigler I was greeted by Mike Willock. He made a dreadful experience into one that I actually enjoyed. Mike was extremely accommodating to anything I asked and made sure I was happy every step of the way. He has a sense of humor that made the atmosphere comfortable and he even remembered conversations I had with him days later which is different from any other car salesman I previously had. It brought a personal aspect to it which I really appreciated. Ultimately Zeigler has always been a great dealership and I couldn't be happier with my new car or my experience with Mike.

I recently took my "old car" to Zeigler for service (again for something new) as they have always been attentive and extremely helpful.... never did I think I would be leaving with a different car.
I was approached by Lawrence in sales when I was waiting for the repairs; decided to "dream shop" and he showed me what has turned out to be the best car I have ever had for my lifestyle (single mom).
I ended up driving off the lot with a great vehicle. I had to return for a few things but they took care of everything without hassle. The service department hands down is the best I have ever seen. I'm a single mom and safety is my number one priority and I can see that it is theirs also .
I can honestly say this dealership stands behind their products... something I have never seen before.
Thanks a million!!! now me and my little girl (2yr) are driving in a safe, reliable vehicle backed by a great service team should anything ever need to be addressed.

But what made my mind to purchase the vehicle here was the sales person, Matt Cacheux! He is a great guy, honest, and straight forward.
The deal was sealed less than 2 hours, with me sitting in the car already!
Great sales person, great personality, and a great dealership!
Will refer who ever wants a excellent service and excellent cars!

I really dont like some of the sales people here with some of the managers that pull the wool over your eyes and lie to get you to purchase a car. I seen them switch out a car when the client was purchasing it and gave them a different vehicle and never showed them the switched out vehicle.

this place scares me!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister lets me use her car and I take care of the maintenance for her. Zeigler is the only place I have brought it and they have been going down hill lately. This most recent time I dropped the Jeep off for the day - some recalls and oil change and I asked to have everything checked out since i am going on a road trip soon.. i was told I would be called when it was ready to pick up, which I planned on doing during my lunch break. Lunch time comes and no call - I call and am told it isnt done yet. wait the rest of the day and still noone calls - get in touch again and am told yeah its ready come and get it. Come to pick up my car and there is noone there to help me. Some guy comes in from his smoke and points me to the cashier. It takes another 15 minutes to get my car and it isn't washed. The guy who pulled it up was very friendly and offered to wash it but I didn't have time to wait, didsn't expect to be there that late since in was told it would be done at lunch. I asked the smoker guy about having everything instpected and he told me there is a sheet. with my paperwork. This seemed wierd since the Jeep isn't brand new and not much has been re[laced. The inspection sheet showed that everything was "in the green" i definetely diont believe this so I took it to another dealership. They let me know that everything is okay for now, but will need to be replaced soon, not "in the green" as Ziegler said. needless to say, they have totally lost my trust. going through the rest of the reviews it seems like this place has a lot of different issues. They every respond to them asking people to get in touch with them, but it seems like not much has been getting better. Do they evern care? Apparently not because While waiting I heard some employees talking about how they won't let Ziegler take care of their own cars.

Emailed the dealership before i went there. Was clear to ask whether or not the online advertised price was what i could purchase the vehicle for, before tax/title/etc. Of course when i got there, the price was not honored. When i showed them the email with the clear statement, that the advertised price was the price, less only tax/title/etc, they said they wouldnt honor it. Said it was my misunderstanding and that every dealership works that way. That I should understand that advertised prices are not what you actually pay for the car. I should send the email and pricing sheet they tried to give me to the attorney generals office for "bait and switch". Tried to email me hours later to contact them in the future so they could help get me into a car. Are you serious?!?!?

Problem after problem. Service sucks. I have to deal with Tony (service manager) or nothing gets done. I have nothing but great things to say about Tony but he was not there today. I won't go on on what the problem was but other than Tony in service, they meaning sales and service have done everything to make me NOT apart of the buyers team.i have punched a new challenger there and recently a ram srt. After they screwed up my plates I had gone in to try to get that fixed and asked why the bell keeps going great off. They told me it was for people that buy cars. They never had me ring the bell. I guess I didn't spend enough money to fit in. Just another way to make me feel like crap. I have asked to speak to MR Saint Jermain, as I was told he was the owner. To go over my concerns and they told me he was moved to the Chevy building. Needless to say I never spoke with him. I wish I had never went there in the first place as the closes Dodge is 30 plus minutes away. I wish for this place to care for people and not just money. I pace back and forth in the service area for over an hour and no one has the guts to ask what's wrong or to give me an update on what is going great on. They can thank God for one thing and that's the fact that I don't run the place as I would clean house and do it right. The employees should be ashamed of themselves and the business they represent. I can't even get the smoking employees to say hi or hello. I guess as a consumer, me mean nothing to them.

They went out of their way to help me put the right deal together for me. I love the Patriot; it's just the right car for me especially with all the snow coming down now. Went to go look at vans just to get information and ended up buying one that night. They had exactly what we were looking for and worked with us to value our trade and give us purchase terms that met our expectations. Our sales person, Francis, met us in the parking lot and was friendly, courteous, helpful and respectful the entire time. The overall experience and all of the people we dealt with from the general manager to customer care to finance was great. Based on first impressions I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Matt cacheux was awesome. He was very attentive to our needs, as well as our desires in our new purchase. He worked very hard to get us the deal we wanted, and spent the better part of the day doing it. We drove away happily in our new ride feeling very confident with our decision. The whole dealership staff was working to make us feel at home. A very laid back, no pressure atmosphere, with happy employees. I only went to Parts counter. He was very helpful. The problem I have is employees are not all wearing masks (some are, but few). Wearing it under your chin, or pulling it down to talk to someone is not helping to prevent the spread. Customers are not wearing them, and nothing is being said to them. I need to feel safe if I'm going to give them my business.

Made a deal on a Jeep with Schaumburg Zeigler's on-line sales person. Confirmed exact vehicle via stock number, agreed on price for a cash deal. My wife and I showed up at the dealership to buy the car and was informed that the sale's manager would not sell us the car at the agreed price!!!!! He said that there was a mistake. We walked out... I was really nervous about buying a car on my own. It turned out not to be nearly as nerve racking as I had thought. Michelle Lynn Carey was wonderful! She didn't pressure me to get something I didn't want. Her patience with me was very appreciated. I didn't feel like she was just trying to make a sale. I felt like I was her friend and she was listening to me. I love my Jeep Cherokee! When I'm ready to upgrade I'll go back to Zeigler. My car buying experience was so much easier and relaxing than I'd ever thought. Thanks!

Avi Levine helped us buy a car for my son yesterday. Crystal clear communication, and no forced sense of urgency. I was introduced to him by a salesperson at another Ziegler location (Buick) when I mentioned the Jeep we bought as an option (side note, that speaks volumes about Ziegler).

The polite follow up email and call from Avi and Steve (manager) to ask about our timeline and decision process went a long way to make us want to pick this place. And the price was more than fair comparatively. Let s face it - buying a car isn t fun... In the past I have felt like I m the mark at a street corner shell game. That s not the way it is with Avi. He was more of an educator and shared his knowledge of cars, the Jeep brand, and his opinions (positive and negative). That helped us decide what options we needed and didn t need better than any blog, app or website could.

Also, we were very nervous considering the current conditions. We were spaced away from anybody, and everybody was wearing masks the whole time. I didn t realize until we left that I don t even know what Avi looks like without the mask.

Worked with Francis Loma and he was absolutely terrible. They had the car I wanted but I refuse to buy from him/that dealership. There was a very large obvious scratch on the door and when I asked about it he couldn't care less, told me it was a used vehicle there will be scratches and there was nothing he could/would do. Told me it could not be buffed or painted but could give ME a pen for it. I'm sorry, the dealership should at the very least PRETEND to care and do what they can to get you to buy. I told him I was unhappy with him belittling my feelings towards this large scratch and he laughed at me. I also had a screenshot of the price earlier in the morning for $1,000 less and he wouldnt even consider the price and shrugged his shoulders at me and told me "prices increase", and then continued to try and sell me a new car even though I had made it very clear I was buying used. I have never been treated so poorly and I dont know how he has a job. He was extremely rude and for that reason ALONE I refuse to do business at this place. Do not let them waste your time or treat you like I was treated.

Horrible Service Experience!

Horrible Service Experience!
Took my 2000 Jeep GC for service. Jeep would shut off at idle. Told me that diagnostic would be approx 145.00 that would be applied toward repair. Fair enough, but I told them it is probably the Idle Control Valve. A day later they called to tell me the diagnostic shows nothing and that the ICV was fine. They kept it and tried to start up next morning to find it to shut off and that they think it is the ICV! After I paid 345.00 and picked up my Jeep, and after driving 8 blocks the accelerator went to floor and the engine rpm went to highest. I had to shut the engine down and coast to a parking lot. After calling the dealer and explaining, they texted me a tow truck company and I called for a tow. Dealer sent a porter to pick me up and began to set me up with a loaner car. This is where they made me mad. They asked for my credit card in case I didn't top off the gas or pay for tolls on the loaner. I just had to walk 2 blocks in the freezing cold to warm up before the porter arrived. The accelerator issue was due to their negligence while they replaced ICV. They created a huge inconvenience for me and ask for my CC for nominal $$. We are a Jeep family and ready to buy another. I wont buy from this dealer or take my Jeep for service. This is a classic example of stepping over a dollar to save a nickel. I should note that the gentleman helping me was curtious and just following policy.

After shopping around at a few different dealerships I ended up at Zeigler in Schaumburg and I'm glad I did. The customer service that Zeigler's staff offered doesn't even compare to the other dealerships I visited. Kenny walked me through each step of the process and I never felt forced to make a deal. He took the time to listen and stick to my budget. There was another vehicle at the dealership that I was looking at and decided to take some time to think about it. Kenny knew it wasn't a good fit for me and he was very patient while I thought about it. He ended up finding the perfect car which I purchased. I give Kenny, Zeigler, and the whole car buying experience 5 stars!

I was closing on my house are the same time as buying a car and they not only understood, they adviced to wait with sealing a deal until closing is final. I had the pleasure of working with Vine Starr and I couldn t have been happier with his service.

I just purchased my 3rd car from this dealership in about 5 years and I have always been treated well and the experience was pretty harmless. I have always walked away feeling that I received a good deal.

I don't understand how I was told I was approved for a car and was told to come back the next day to pick out the charger I wanted.. then all of the sudden they tell me we will call you when we hear something from the finance company when I was told the deal was done.

I normally do not write reviews. I felt compelled to as this was by far the absolute worst experience I have had ever, dealing with a dealership (and I have dealt with many in my life all over the chicagoland area) So I am currently in a tough financial position with the credit to match I fill out a credit app online and I get a call back from the "Finance Manager" Joe. Stating I am "approved to purchase" I being in sales am fully aware of the lingo and responded back knowing that any one in the world is "approved to purchase" but "I do not want to waste any time for both you and I nor the sales rep" and explained my situation. He said " yes I have your credit report here come on in and we will get you in a vehicle". I should blame myself really, because I knew full well it wasn't that simple but being a professional If he said he is looking at my report and is confident I would get into a vehicle I will go in and at least see what my options may be. This was a Friday - I set it up for that following Monday noon..

Now let's be clear I am not writing this because I wasn't able to get into the vehicle. The unprofessionalism is beyond words......

Monday I arrive as scheduled and as instructed asked for Joe in Finance from the 2 gentlemen at the front desk . nearby was Marc Keenan "salesman of the year" (sarcasm) had obviously overheard me and said "hey folks can I help you" interrupting the guy responding to me initially. I said Yes Joe in Finance. he said " sure let me go get him feel free to have a seat. Didn't take long Joe came out shook my hand and sure enough said Marc here will help you. Cool .... we go sit with Mark. I first and foremost said upfront I don't want to waste time for both you and I here is my situation and this is what I have and can do. I expressed my doubt and asked specifically not to drag me along just be upfront with my situation can you help.

This guy said my situation was nothing I have put people in vehicles with much worst situations .

One, two skip a few I need a co-signer (knowing I would beforehand I prepared because I had one with me not the best credit but much better than my current situation) Marc took my doubt and turned it around I mean I feel dirty.. After running my co-signers credit It looks good just waiting on what finance company respond with the terms. We start discussing the downpayment in more detail as far as worst case scenarios. he assured me if it came to it they work with down payments meaning if needed to pay a little more and couldn't do it all at once they would allow me to pay it down over a couple weeks..

Anyhow Marc comes back "I have good and bad news"! Ok Marc good news first. We got you approved and we are going to put you in a Journey, Its a starter car"
Bad news the manager to sign off on it is off today and will be back tomorrow but you need to be back here at 9 am. Me being in disbelief needed reassurance and said "really wow are you sure" he said "yeah we spoke to him he's just off today but again 9am we are going to get him first thing in the morning and will have the car waiting in front for you BUT YOU HAVE TO BE HERE ON TIME "

Guys I even said "awesome make sure its black"

9 a.m. the next day / I arrive as scheduled .. Surprise!! Marc was not there yet 10-15 minutes later he strolls in hey folks .. Yeah I just spoke to the finance manager he is running late 30 minutes tops have a seat in the waiting room. 1.2 skip a few 1h 20m later Marc comes back and notifies us the finance manager wont be in til later because his kid broke a leg .. ill call you later will get this done.. I have to wrap it up be cause my limit is reached but 2 days later and many more excuses he just simply never called or communicated a thing .. I don't get it why all the BS. on the bright side I have 2 others willing to co sign with perfect credit and would have utilized them there as a last resort, I'm thankful they are not getting my business now ....

Black Friday car buying experience was great at Ziegler of Schaumburg! Walked out with a fantastic deal on my dream Jeep. The staff at the dealership was friendly and helpful during a major purchase. I will definitely be a return customer and will send those I know for a hassle free experience.

Just purchased two cars within the month at this dealership. Believe me if I wasn t satisfied the first time, I wouldn t have gone back. Salesman Theo was awesome! LOTS of inventory, fair pricing, GO check them out!

People at Dealership were very nice, especially Sa...

People at Dealership were very nice, especially Sales Manager James King! With that said, they need better communication overall. I had way too many unnecessary interactions. Sometimes in all the hype and excitement a Dealership tries to create, the focus on strong communication gets lost. If I have a great experience, I ll tell more People about that. It won t be about how many shiny balloons and cool music was there. I will go back though and recommend People to buy from them.
