Absolutely the worst car buying experience I have ...

Absolutely the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I will never think about buying a car from Zeigler Dodge and would never recommend them to a friend. Our salesmen was absolutely terrible (didn't even offer us water on a 100*+ day) and resorted to name calling towards the end of our negotiations. STAY AWAY FROM Zeigler Dodge!

There s only one thing that we didn t like , we fell discriminated by one specific person! Service department is useless! Brought my Jeep in ...

Service department is useless! Brought my Jeep in for service and was told the fix shouldn't take long. After not hearing back for 2 DAYS I finally called and was told the part that was needed was on backorder and there were "86 people ahead of me that are waiting for the same part" I called another Jeep dealer where they very easily located the part for me. I took my Jeep to Fields Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Glenview where I was able to have the problem fixed in a little over an hour. Night and day difference between these two dealers. Although it was a little bit more of a drive it was well worth it. Will never return to Zeigler ever again. Useless people who don't want to help. Avoid this place at all costs!

Huge thank you to Erin Realmo! I hate car shopping! I hadn't purchased a vehicle in over 12 years, mainly because there is nothing I dread more than knowingly spending thousands of dollars on an item, that depreciates in value, the second it's purchased. Regardless of my desires, my car no longer provided the "luxury" of starting everyday. I had no choice, but to suck it up, and do it!

I had been to three other dealerships over the past few months, and I STILL had NO idea what I wanted! I would leave each time exasperated, and stroked with confusion.

Erin realized quickly, although, I hadn't the slightest idea of what make or model I wanted; I knew what I liked! He identified my non-negotiable desires, versus additional bonus features. He tailored those desires by highlighting the vehicles, he felt, were best suited for me. While walking through the lot, I had expressed some interest, and my curiosity was attentively handled. He grabbed the keys and we went off on a test drive.

Erin was never pushy! He never tried to convince me that I should compromise on features I didn't realize I wanted, prior to my arrival. Additionally, he was honest when I asked his personal opinion! You can't imagine how appreciative I am to know that I was answered like a friend rather than a customer.

Most importantly... He asked questions, listened to my wants and needs, and attentively executed AND surpassed all of my expectations!

I walked away with a brand new Jeep that I'm still trying to figure out. Turns out I like ... everything!

Went in today and was working on a deal.. Was reassured that i would get the out the door payment i was looking for, Seems like the guy i was dealing with was more worried about what type of car another customer was driving rather then the deal we where working on, then he was more worried about a conference call he JUST HAD TO TAKE. so he dumped me off on someone else who also reassure that i would get the price i was looking for. Well a few phone calls later the price jumped up. I guess i'll take my business some where else where they will work on my deal rather then be worried about what another customer is driving....

Jorge was great to work with for our car buying experience! Such a nice family man who works his tail off to make things happen. We would definitely buy a car from Ziegler again - especially if it meant working with someone like him! The manager, James, was also amazing and hilarious. They actually worked with us on a deal that satisfied both parties....which we did not get at other dealerships.

I cannot believe the customer service at this plac...

I cannot believe the customer service at this place. I get my oil changed there only because it's where I bought the car. When I pull in to get my oil changed no one says anything or even looks at me. They are terrible at what they do. Last time I paid extra for another service to my tires. I was called over the intercom to pay and told my car was ready. When I paid I went to go out to my car and it wasn't even finished. The guy never even told me and he was right next to me. After an hour it was finally finished. No one told me I just saw the mechanic park it. I walked out to my car, which wasn't even washed, and the glove box was broken because they checked my cabin filter, which is located inside the glove box. I HATE THIS PLACE! Whoever is in charge should be embarrassed and needs to hire people that do their job.

Buying a new Jeep was a little nerve wrecking, but Kenny the sales manager did a wonderful job. He answered all my questions, was patient with me and without being pushy, and as a plus he made me laugh(which helps when nervous). My over all experience at Zeigler was wonderful so much more then the dealership I brought my first Jeep from. So if you want the best experience and most helpful sales help then you gotta go to Zeigler and ask for Kenny.

Management is a joke. They advertise big flashy sales, just to rake you over the coals with their trade-in offer. Never returning!

First off, I work for GMC BUICK, and let me tell you the way we treat our customers is beyond far better than this dealerships service department will. This is the second time I bring in my Dodge Ram for service and neither last time and this time did I feel that I got the best customer service from this service department. First off the service advisers are very rude. I was in for a water leak and a oil change, they tried very hard to stay way from looking at the water leak and insisted that they can't look at it on Saturdays. Every time I had a question they always seemed to push me away and try to ignore me. This service department needs a lot of improvement or they are going to loose many more customers.

TLDR: Waited 5 hours for service. Price error. Bad customer service.

I've been a customer for about 4 years. I bought continuously had my routine maintenance done here. This past Saturday was the worst visit I ever had with them.

I was given a 15% coupon and instructed to make an appointment. I made one for 10:30am. When I arrived, the worker and I reviewed what was going to be done and I showed him my coupon. Typically oil changes or maintenance checks take at most an hour, understandable. However, I was told there would be a 3 hour wait for simply the oil change, because it's a first come first serve basis. I tried to do without it and was told even if I did my other routine maintenance, I still have to wait 3 hours. Why schedule an appointment when I have to wait an extreme additional amount of time, anyway? "Express Lane" is very misleading.

Since it was my car and I was slightly flexible with my time, I just dealt with it and waited. I calculated the time and added an additional hour for work to total the time I expected to be here. I get a call from one of the workers around 12:00pm on an update on what they had to do with my car. It's 1:00pm, it still hadn't been 3 hours, one of the female workers walking around fetching customers still hasn't said my name yet, my name hasn't been called to the cashier on the intercom, so I still wait. It was 2:00pm, my name hasn't been called and the female worker hasn't been around fetching people.

It's 3:15pm and I finally get up and ask one of the male workers on the status of my car. He tells me, "It looks like they're just finishing it up right now, go over to her and it should be printing." I go to the cashier and she gets something from the printer and takes my file out from the cabinet with my keys in it and I ask her, "Has it been ready for awhile?" and she says, "Maybe, I don't know when they snuck this in here." She, thankfully, deals with me and others at the same time and I review my receipt as I wait. I found the time my car was ready on the receipt - 2:05pm. First of all, that male worker lied that my car was just finished. Secondly, my car has been ready for nearly 2 hours and I was not reached out to at all, ever. Not even a phone call. I waited forever in the dealer, waiting and waiting. I even only went to the bathroom once, so I wouldn't miss my name. Am I expected to ask if my car is done? Am I expected to wait forever? Is it normal to not follow up on serviced cars not yet retrieved? Why is there a sign for Excellent Customer Service?

And to top my visit off, as I waited for them to bring out my car, I asked if they applied my birthday coupon, because I couldn't figure out where it was on the receipt. The cashier looked it over and noticed the discount wasn't in the usual spot and said that sometimes they manually correct the discount before printing the receipt, so it's probably done already. To make sure I saved money from the coupon I was offered, I asked her to confirm this with someone. She did, the male worker had to correct it, and she had to refund me and recharge my card - I saved my $93. I'm glad she worked with me and resolved it, but I'm extremely disappointed this wasn't done properly beforehand.

While she was correcting it, I noticed my car was outside (with the keys, per usual) instead of inside the empty waiting garage (where it usually is when service is finished), I didn't feel safe for my car like that. Once I get in my car, the AC was on in this cold weather and my driver's seat was reclined back a lot... Why? Those last little details sprinkled on top just made me dislike my visit even more.

It's 4:00pm and I am finally leaving the dealer after being here since 10:30am. What a way to spend my day.

During this visit, I was the one taking an initiative on my car status and my receipt, not the workers. I understand it's a busy place and mistakes can be made from time to time, but this one was very unfortunate on their part. Definitely a blemish in their customer service here. Please, learn to contact and follow-up with customers.

Salesman was very vague and slow to give me info I wanted. Had to sit there and have him go back n forth literally like 8-9 times just to get basic info such as loan terms (rates), total itemized list of cost and fees of car out the door. Not until I was just a few feet from the door to leave did I get what I needed. Just wasted time, could have just cut the BS salesman schtick and just get down to what it always is. Money. He knew exactly what vehicle we wanted to look at but kept asking us questions about what we want in a vehicle. Completely pointless, I called ahead to have the exact one ready to look at. It all worked out in the end but the stereotypical salesman thing needs to go away and just talk to people.

Erin our salesman was a good guy and I believe tried to do the right thing with us. His manager was one of the most unprofessional pompous people I ve ever met and basically what s so wrong with the car industry as a whole! In short...they keep you around sooo long (4hours) until you ve had it, then they pass over a bunch of paper work for you to sign and this is where they get you if your not careful and over fatigued!
Overall we like our truck and I think we got a fair deal, unfortunately having just retired this was suppose to be an exciting time and it just turned into a mass of aggravation!

My experience at Zeigler was an interesting one. Although I love my new Overland, I would not have purchased it without the concern and professionalism of the entire staff. Kenny "The Greek" was fantastyic. I test drove about 25 different vehicles at various dealerships. I chose Ziegler because of the people. I've never owned a Jeep before, I decided to buy one, and "BANG!" Just like that..I'm hooked.

The sales person kept telling us everything was almost ready. We were just left sitting and waiting?' There was no trade in or price negotiating, yet we kept waiting and waiting. We didn't feel there was true disclosure of the vehicle discounts? Poor business practices. We have bought several vehicles from Dowers Grove Zeigler, with much better treatment and honesty. Probably will not be back to the Schaumburg Zeigler. We were To the finance person was getting our paperwork together, yet when we went to sign the final paperwork, the paperwork was not ready. It took over three hours to purchase the vehicle.

My husband and I went to the Zeigler Chrysler to specifically purchase a van with 8 seats. Our salesperson Sebastian Piworowowicz was initially very friendly however, he was also taking care of another customer. We waited patiently for at least an hour. We told him we wanted a black van with 8 seats. He then showed us the 8 seat Pacifica on the showroom floor and then proceeded to show us what Pacificas he had on his computer. At around 10:30 pm, after test driving the van, we decided to buy it. In the interest of time, since we spent a LONG time with the warranty man, the floor mat and paint selling man, and the finance man we did not scrutinize the van before we drove away. Well a week later after we had driven to Wisconsin I tried to pull up the eighth seat for our passengers and discovered there was none there. I called the service department and they said it should be there but after checking our VIN number said the van actually does not have an eighth seat. I went back into the dealership and asked Sebastian to rectify this mistake that he made and he said we would lose $12,000 on the trade in of a 10 day old car. When I told Sebastian the he made a mistake he said you never told me you wanted an 8 seat van". I then asked to speak to a manager because I did not want to talk to a person with no integrity who would lie to me. Sebastian then became very rude and unprofessional. I then talked with Eric Johnson and he said I should go home and he would get back to me. He never did. Then I came back in and they now put James King the sales manager on my case. He was very friendly (the over the top salesman friendly) but once again sent me home and said he was going to work on it. Again, I had to come in because he never called. Bottom line, the dealer did nothing to rectify their mistake and I am stuck with a 7 seat van. I would never trust these people again. By the way, I am 61 years old and I have NEVER had an experience like this before. I have NEVER written a bad review.

I just bought a brand new Chryler 200 and I am in love with my car. Zeigler was amazing. From the moment I completed the Truecar form until I drove it off the lot was a great experience. The internet sales team responded right away and invited me to come visit them.
When I arrived I met Gabriel standing outside in sub zero temperatures. He helped me realize my dream and it was such a pleasurable experience. I had that image of a "car salesman" in my head and he was the opposite. Gabriel spoke to me like a person and listened to me and heard what I was saying. There was no pressure at any point. He even paid attention and knew i wanted the heated seats set to low when we were programming the settings on the car. He also found the city sticker I left in the window of my trade in and removed it for me. I am surprised at how much time he spent with me explaining the smallest detail of the 200. We set up everything possible from radio preferences to the Uconnect app. He even walked me through using the auto park feature which had us both laughing.
If you would like a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge I'd highly recommend going to Zeigler in Schaumburg and asking for Gabriel. Everyone was friendly and helpful but he is in a class by himself.

Alex was professional, helpful and remarkably patient as he helped to explain the different models so we could narrow down the model that offered the desired options. Thru his joint effort with Doug in financing, we were able to drive away happy. We will be back Zeigler when its time for our next car!

This was my first time buying a Jeep and I must say I had the best experience. If you are in the market for a car then you have to see Sebastian Piworowicz. He was kind, considerate and really listened to what I wanted. He didn t push me into buying something that wasn t right for me. I bought a car on one of the hottest days and since he listened to what I wanted he found me the perfect Jeep. He had it by the door ready for me to see. I fell in love with the first car I test drove. Thank you Sebastian! Great job and may God Bless you. If I could have given this review more then five stars he would have gotten it. He exceeded my expectations.

Exceptional customer service with Matt Pettis and James! Words cannot express how great the customer service is at this dealership. We were greeted by Matt Pettis and sales manager James. Matt went above and beyond showing us Pacificas and answering our questions. He was professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about what we wanted. Matt never pressured us to make a sale and respected our budget and money limitations. We had come to Ziegler s after having a bad experience at another dealership. While that experience had nothing to do with them they went above and beyond to make us feel confident about car buying again. I would recommend this dealership and especially Matt Pettis to anyone looking to buy a vehicle

Ok. Where do I start.... being completely honest.

Ok. Where do I start.... being completely honest.

This had to be hands down the worst experience I have ever been a part of. My father and I found a used '18 Jeep Compass Trailhawk online and went to go see it in person. Mind you, my father has bought a few vehicles from them over the years, and said he would never come back due to a few other bad experiences. But, this car was for me, so he agreed to come with me and check it out.

We were greeted by Chris "Wegz" Weglarz. He got all of our info and took us to see the car and go for a test drive. I fell in love with the car, so we went back in to begin the negotiating. Here is when things started to get a bit dicey... He started to get very aggressive and honestly just completely rude talking over my father and I. Look I get it, you want to make the sale, but there is such thing as being a good salesman without being rude/crass. He clearly did not really care what we as the customers cared about and he was all about the sale.

Now starts the negotiating, after going back and forth, we told him we wanted $18,000 OUT THE DOOR, final price. He had me initial my name on a line for him because he himself wanted to make it official. After going to the front desk to give the offer to his manager for the 3rd time.. he comes back after only another half hour to extend his hand and say "congrats, you have a deal!"

We went out to the car one more time to take a look, transfer all my belongings from my previous Jeep to a box, and then they were taking the new car in to get detailed. We go in to start signing all the papers and to get the titling all set. We gave him our SSN, signed a few documents and we were going to head into the room to officially sign the papers!!
FANTASTIC right? The 3 hours we were there paid off! Not exactly..

Chris came back to say his manager thought the deal was for $18k plus another $2.5k cash down. We were very confused how they got that from $18k OUT THE DOOR and INITIALED on the line for the offer.. Really what made it worse, we shook on it..

I am still in shock by this whole thing. Chris, not only did you not get your sale/commission, but you lost a customer who had already bought 2 vehicles from you guys and was a few signatures away from a 3rd.

This was truly a HORRIBLE experience and we will NEVER step foot in there again, let alone refer someone.

Thank you again for the horrendous service, condescending/rude attitude, and 3 plus hours wasted.

I knew which car I was interested by researching online. I was greeted by Jordan, who proved to be very personable and friendly. I really appreciated that, as my least favorite part about buying a car is being treated like garbage by some arrogant salesman. Jordan is not that person. Overall, I d return to Ziegler for a service, and a new car purchase.

Stopped by Zeigler today and I just wanted to take a look since I'm no where near ready to make a car purchase just yet. I simply wanted information. Mike Willock was my salesman and he gave me great information and didn't make me feel uncomfortable or rushed at all. He was very knowledgeable and I feel very confident that once it's time to make my decision that I'm coming back here simply because of Mike. Even if I don't end up with a new Jeep, I'll still wait for a good used car and come straight back to Mike. Thanks for your professionalism, patience, and still managed to make my experience less painful. Highly recommend asking for him.

WOW. I cannot get over how amazing my car buying experience was. I just purchased a 2016 Jeep Patriot from Erin Realmo. I had been to three dealerships trying to purchase this vehicle with no luck. Erin was was amazing to deal with and I could tell that he did everything he could to get me the best possible deal. I drove all over the Chicago land metro area for a dealership that finally didn t lie to me. Your dealership was honest and very helpful, the sales people are professional and courteous. I m glad my good family friend told me to go there. I was super impressed! I had an awesome experience, and I will tell all my friends to purchase there next vehicle at Ziegler Schaumburg!

I appreciate the help and the warranty job done for my jeep cherokee trailhawk which is the powertrain unit accuator transfer case. They replaced it with the new one under warranty. Thank you Jessica and the mechanic team. Jeep is perfectly fine now. I trust this dealer.

Purchased a new 2020 trailhaw elite. Couldn't be any happier with the help of George Solayman the crazy frisbee guy from sales and Derek on finance dept. Thank you so much for a wonderful and pleasant experience. We love this place. 5 stars.
